It was time:

I want to leave you alone because I care too much. Does that make sense ? I knew you were going to start struggling again. I knew this was a time filled with ache for you. Your ache is my ache I hurt too, remember. You hurt, I hurt away from you. I saw how much this broke you before. I saw what it did to you and how you lost yourself in the drugs, sex, sabatoge, me. I let you because if I was going to be anything for you, I was going to be there when you needed something stable.

Even if you ended up not needing me after, I was content with knowing I helped you in a time you were most lost. I fulfilled my duty and helped you stand, gave you so many reasons to keep standing. Especially when you couldnt any longer. We planned the future, 35? . I set you goals when you felt most demotivated, I believe in you. Still.

The difference lies here, I remember all these pieces of you and us and I miss everything so hard. I miss it hard. I miss it from my core, I miss you so much I get aches. I know you need me now but I will not disturb your peace. You have to be in pain alone like you let me be. I will not let you remember me or remember what it felt like because we were too good to cope. We can’t handle each other. It’s so funny how I have to keep reminding myself that, the most important factor: we were too much. Too good. Too good for each other. I don’t want you to remember because remembering sucks and it hurts and you don’t need that right now. You’re fragile. I’d give you what I have but it’s all crumpled and messy right now, so I can’t give you any piece of me at all. I have to help you from far, cs helping you was for me anyway. It’s selfish and I won’t do it. I’m caring from here. I’m sending love from a distance. You need me now, I know and the best way I can help you is to stay away and I hope you do the same.

Thank you for doing the same so far, your ache never left but it did become normal. So I live with it now cs it reminds me that it all actually happened. I’m hurting for a reason, there’s no way I’m here 8 months later with a fucking physical pang in my chest for nothing haha. It’s mildly drumming, as a backtrack to my life, sometimes I think it’s gone and that scares me more. It scares me more that I’m not aching for you anymore cs it’s the only way I feel you tbh. But then it comes back and I can exhale again. When I’m not aching, everything’s paused, hollow and it’s so scary. It’s the worst feeling ever felt to be blank and paused my god. I’d rather be in your pain permanently than not feel you again.

That’s where I’m at and I’m so okay admitting this, cs there is no point in pretending. Not ashamed of how it sounds, not flowering anything- it’s the raw truth. Too much synchronization. I won’t feel this again in my life. It’s a win win really. I got all that love once ( most people don’t get a smidge of that real shtuff in their whole lifetime) so I hurt once. It will never hurt this bad again cs it will never be this again. The worst parts almost over. Magic doesn’t come around that often so I’m safe hahaha.

But I am ever grateful for my lifetime with you, cs that’s all we needed. That was the easiest part to accept really. That’s all it took, I couldn’t be happier with the turnout honestly haha. Sounds contradictory but you were my biggest lesson, life and love. I’m on my way there. I just have to learn how to not expect you, really. That’s the tricky part, allowing something different and harder. I have to give it a chance again with this new body. I will, I’m almost ready to accept that it won’t be that easy again, I’m going to have to put some work in, I’m going to have to try. It won’t infuse with me as naturally as you did. Whose to say merging won’t happen again?!Everythings always so uncertain. We know nothing.

I’ve never held anger towards you, only too much love it makes me angry. Never hate, just so much love it’s irritating. Even the ache, is just all the love I can’t give to you so it pumps to nowhere and that hurts. That’s the ache, so much love for you- I fight it not to be there, but it is. The love I can’t give you hurts me that’s all. I still send it to you sometimes when I’m doing my love rounds. I always think before, this is stupid there’s no way you actually receive it or feel me.
