Here he is, the main man of 'The Man in the Pearl Mask', Lord Velaryon (a.k.a. Luke brought back from the dead by Valyrian Gods)! Like the portrait of Syrax, this was drawn by the wonderfully talented @hrgves.

And, if you think that cloak looks familiar, yes, I think Luke is subconsciously mimicking Aemond in the way he dresses as Lord Velaryon.

She wishes she was what they think she is. At least then she could boil them from the inside out.  She clenches her jaw and her grip around her dagger tightens. The point of it digs into the table and splinters the wood.  "Usually sheep's blood, my lord. But the blood of men tastes so much sweeter."  Netty snorts into her wine. Down the table, Jace bites back a smile. The condescending glee from before drains from their faces. He doesn't rise to her bait.  "So you admit you drink and bathe in blood? You admit you are a witch?" "I admit the blood of men is sweet." Her lips curl. "Perhaps I could get a taste of yours."  At once, his face drops. "Watch your tongue girl!" He exclaims, his pointed finger trembling.  "On second thought," She continues. "I wouldn't deny my dragon the pleasure. Vermithor does love the taste of cravens."

about the lucemond canon size difference arts, I think some part of why artists are hesitant to draw more of it is cause smaller luke is easily associated with younger luke and a lot of other fans are relentless on hating the dynamic if it looks like it has the child/underage element. which is unfortunate tbh but i don't blame them cause the hotd fandom can be really toxic. i love the lithe/petite older luke hc as well and would like to see more fanarts of it. but the least thing i want is to seem demanding of artists especially if it'd make them uncomfortable of the response 😔

anyway, here are some twt artists i can recommend that draws their canon size diff (if you haven't seen their lucemond arts yet)!

hi anon. yes, i know of the artists but thank you for taking time to recommend them regardless ^^ i love their art so much truly—lucemond with size diff just hits the right spot. i think you meant to type @/gengeng_0215 for the first link and i can also recommend @/hrgves which is also another artist who draws canon lucemond size diff, if anyone else is also looking for more reccs!

and for your explanation as to why artists are hesitant to draw smaller lucerys, i understand the self-preservation in that sense but i don’t think that’s fully the case, at least for most. but for a possibility that it is for some, i’m fully support of encouraging everyone to just fuck the antis draw whatever they want.

and yeah, seeming demanding more often than not cause the opposite effect. the thing is, though, i have seen more of the other side of the fandom coming off as demanding with several posts starting with “lucerys with strong genes,” and any variation of such posts. i close them off so fast and end up blocking the account because as i said, it’s starting to seem like spamming the tag at some point, lol.

anyway, the point is, i and i’m pretty sure others who feel the same really appreciate all the content creators who keep lucerys small! much support to yall.
