This is a classic “FL wants to go home even though she can make a life for herself here,” but at least this FL has a winning lotto ticket waiting for her. I really enjoy the realistic sibling interactions of the story.

In the summary, I try to use “Jiyoon” for things the FL does herself, “Solea” for the original Solea & also for things people think they’re doing for/to Solea. Next season, I’ll probably transition to just using “Solea”, but we’ll see.

Yoon Jiyoon wins the lottery, rushes to work to quit, only to find herself in Solea's body in her family's dining room. Her family thinks she has amnesia. She finds a magic diary that records her day, that she can't write in, that looks like smut to everyone else. Since she's screaming about the jackpot, everyone believes she's looking for someone named Jack. She breaks her leg running into her brother, Gray, around the corner. She's visited by three "friends" who insult her and her brothers and when she asks "are you stupid?" slap her. Jiyoon planned to get slapped so they could ask for compensation money, which upsets her father because he loves her. She learns that Solea is the youngest and all her brothers are adopted. Her eldest brother is on the battlefield, fighting in a war (he'll win in the late 20's and we'll get news of him coming home soon). Haymon is a magician that was experimented on until he actually died and now he's at the mercy of the head of the magic tower, who brings him back to life by injecting his own mana into him. Gray is a great fighter, knighted, but doesn't belong to a knightage and instead trains the duke's knights. The duchess is dead. The duke loves all his children. The three families that insulted them are banned from doing business with the duchy and the duchy bans slavery. Haymon is able to step on the diary, which has a barrier for everyone else is rejected by, so she gets fixated on trying to write with feet. Solea starts working out to try & muscle her way through the journal's barrier. Haymon ultimately gets her a slave named Jack that's very built.

Gray finds 3 employees known for bad behavior (Eldmam, Ceely, & Paul) because Jiyoon says their dad doesn't throw things, yell, or beat people - implying someone does - so he & Morgan take care of them c15. Duke Vergo reflects that he's glad Solea is healthy, even though she's been distant since she lost her memories. Jiyoon gets a dress from Madam Marie's for the Princess Karachapel's birthday ball. At the ball, Prince Aaron Bailey De Gernois is handsy with Solea,  rude to her brothers, & reveals he has a spy in their house. Karachapel "Racha" offers to help Solea become Duchess Vergo & make it so no one looks down on her brothers, but Jiyoon declines. Racha recorded the conversation, but Solea can't be seen so "she either has more mana than Idalon or none".

Solea's brothers warm up to Jiyoon further when she defends them at the Princess's ball from someone talking trash to their faces; the princess decides to befriend Solea. On the way home, Jiyoon learns Solea's family really loves her & continues to feel bad for taking her place. Gray frees Jack because he's jealous of the time Jack spends with Solea. While Jiyoon studies hard, someone pushes a stack of books on Solea, knocking her out for days. Jiyoon finds Idalon treating Haymon & readers learn he died & is almost a magic puppet, but she forgets. The journal just says: Haymon, mana, magician. Jiyoon just sees bits of the memory. Word gets out that Racha fired a maid who spoke ill of Solea & a wave of party invites arrives.

At Sarah Nathaniel's debutant party, a Count's daughter, Raina Tolbeckerman, daughter picks a fight with Solea, saying she's lucky to have lost her memories and be able to ask for slavery to be banned without understanding the history, but Jiyoon has been studying, recits the history, and then tells the girl that it must be nice to be so lazy with your studies.

Gray is getting into a fight with a guy in the garden because he insulted Sarah's brother, Bill for being hard of hearing. Gray puts a rock in his glove, throws it to challenge him to a duel. Marquess Scholden's insults Gray, Solea slaps him, he goes to attack her, Haymon pulls her back with magic and Gray starts the duel. Ultimately, Marquess Scholden has to kill his son to save business with the duchy. Racha hears about it & asks Mary, her mage, for an update on Solea; Mary says Solea's body is "as good as dead" & has no mana. She decides to start a wool business, starting with raising the sheep for the wool. Jiyoon tells Duke Vergo's aide Ratuel to have Madam Marie's make a dress for Solea, but display it in the shop. Jiyoon remembers that Haymon is being fed mana by Idalon. She panics. In her distressed state, writes "return" in the journal. Haymon comes to see her. She hears voices from little balls of light that threaten to hurt Haymon, who has dirty mana & say Solea is clean & can take in as much mana as she wants. Haymon thinks Solea remembers seeing Idalon inject him with mana & explains that Idalon has Haymon find people's real names; Idalon "makes them disappear like they never existed". Even Haymon doesn't remember them c28. Jiyoon decides to stay as Solea & help her family. She tries to change the journal, which changes itself to be about her oldest brother returning from war. On Idalon's orders, maid Marcella feeds Jiyoon some of Haymon's mana & she meets the original Solea, who refuses to send Jiyoon away. The ML (that we saw as a child in a dream in c6) tells Jiyoon that she can save Haymon & Gray, & there's a powerful curse on her c30. Jiyoon wakes up after 2 days. Idalon beats Marcella & tells her next time she fails he'll set her unconscious husband & children on fire; Idalon needs Solea's body as an ingredient. We learn Marcella previously buried Solea under books. While doing market research in disguise as a maid, Ianne Clever gives Jiyoon tips. Madam Marie's gotten a lot of inquiries about Solea's dress & Racha ordered one. Solea will give her eldest brother, returning from war, a red wool cape. 

The lights return & talk with Jiyoon this time; they know she's from another world, miss their handsome sleeping master, can't help Haymon because he has a contract with Idalon & they're scared of Idalon, confirm Solea really did die, & say they cannot sent Jiyoon back. Jiyoon decides to fix the duchy & help her family then "return to where [she] belong[s]". Jiyoon has the spirits make light-weight wooden rollers. She gives 1 to Racha & sells 1k using Jack as the salesman. Idalon sent evil bugs to mess with Haymon's mind & play on his insecurities. One of the spirits tells Jiyoon that people with 2 names have delicious mana, so Jiyoon/Solea, Haymon, Jack, & the ML are great to feed on. The more aware they are of their other name, the more cracks will form, so she needs to abandon "Jiyoon" but won't. Tion returns - he needs glasses. Jiyoon goes out to buy a pair, Gray joins her, & they stop by a temple+weapon shop where she learns the name "Amus" & wakes our ML!
