its so frustrating to me that a lot of aus fundamentally get sans' character so wrong; they don't really want sans, they want either alphys or flowey! edgy aus like dusttale are especially bad for this- it just frustrates me beyond belief. not to mention aus like disbelief papyrus as well, which also get His character incorrect by wanting the whole "nice character finally sees that the world is brutal!" thing...
YEAHHH it makes me so so so mad when they have good designs too like,, u do not.deserve that
it honestly just makes me sad because personally i headcanon sans as a pacifist! bro uses every excuse he possibly can to never fight you in canon and will only ever even try when you’re actively threatening to erase literally the entire world, you can’t convince me for a second anything like dusttale could EVER conceivably happen.
on the disbelief side of things i honestly think it got so big solely because us papyrus fans were fucking starving back then lmao the only other options we had were the flowey possession AUs and underswap!!!!!

Guess who wrote more Yuko Lives AU. Although this is more like, AU of an AU I guess? It's angsty, and based more around a concept I've talked to @atanx about (hope you don't mind the @ mate). Yuko and Nishiki pulling some Servant of Evil type stuff. Just a quick little drabble but under the cut. Also, I made art to go with!! Very quick sketches but I hope you like em.
She saw the note before she even saw Reina.
The stupid woman had gone and grown a conscience. For all her claims of love, it had taken her about a week of seeing Kiryu again for that to go out the window, to mean nothing. That's just how it was though, wasn't it? When given the choice between the dragon or the koi, everyone always chose the dragon without fail. The dragon didn't even have to try, and the koi's efforts would go ignored at every turn.
She'd gasped when she saw her walk in. Again, despite her claims to love her brother, she somehow couldn't see through the disguise. Of all the people who should be able to tell...
She's not sure what they say to each other, isn't sure if she even had time to sneer out the disdainful accusation she could feel forming in her head, when next thing she knows, Reina's pointing a gun at her. Stupid woman.
She's shaking as she points it, apologies and accusations tumbling from her mouth to justify what she's doing. Begging for forgiveness as she turns her back on the man she thinks is standing in front of her and throws his decade of work under the bus. No. No, she will NOT let that happen. She's seen him work too hard, put too much effort forward, helped him too much to see this all be for nothing. To watch their family crumble because of Reina's weakness.
Weak or not, she's still pointing the gun. She raises her hands, attempting to calm her, to charm her in the way she knows works, but she's not having it. That damn dragon's broken the spell. Reina's finger is dangerously close to that trigger, and she's not putting the damn gun down. She's trying, by GOD she's trying to calm her, but her hurt and betrayal must be poisoning her attempts because oh God she's getting closer she's still pointing the gun she's going to shoot her she's going to shoot her-
The gun weighs nothing when she whips it from her pocket, but suddenly weighs heavier than lead when the bullet fires from the chamber and into Reina's chest. Her mouth drops open, her lip quivering as she stared wide-eyed into Reina's eyes, eyes that are also wide with shock, pain, heartbreak. A sickeningly long second passes before Reina's body hits the floor with a thud heavier than the gun in her hands.
She collapses to her knees, still gripping the gun like her life depends on it, as if she could somehow unfire it as she watches crimson liquid pool out from her friend. Her breath comes in heavy gasps, her heart that's faithfully served her this last decade yet she still fears may give out any day pounds loudly in her chest. Pumping precious, precious blood through her veins, as Reina's spills from hers, taking her life with them. She gives out a small, strained whimper before managing only a few tiny, wet gasps before she stills, her gun laying beside her lifeless hand.
Outside, Yuko hears the rain start to pour, and so too do her tears.

sometimes the SPN HC Lore that my Research(tm) digs up is fascinating and canon-altering. Sometimes its fluffy and sweet (Cas loves crocodiles. I'm never going to be able to un-know that). Other times.... its just kind of random
Sam & Dean are related to/share an ancestor with This Campbell, Specifically
the reason that this matters at ALL is due to the truly unhinged amount of Campbells that specifically went into folklore/myth studies irl. For that reason, I get the feeling that MOST Campbells in the spn universe are in some way connected to this, butttt J.G. here is the closest match to a direct relative imho, for a couple reasons.
