I heard you are searching for shizuai fics so I have taken it upon myself to write one
The problem is, I have two genres I write in- overwhelming existential sentient ai angst, and CRACK.
so uh shizuai crackfic in the works ig?!?!?
crackfics can be good and fun read as long as the balance between it being a mindful writing and the crack itself is consistent enough to not make it feel like pure crack imo. but the existential sentient ai idea..... im intrigued........? but at the same time if it doesn't have any happy ending idt i can stomach it 😭😭😭😭😭
#i lov . nonhuman and human type of fictional relationship.#human robot. human beast. human ghost. human creature#like i think this is definitely part of me that aligns more to the creatures rather than a human#but we'll unpack that someday in the future. whatever#also this is why i rly like pandemonium too LMFAO#emotanswers

Paraview
Genre: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Slice-of-Life Continutiy: It's own continuity, but is based off the Pre-Shutdown deal. Also Known As: Monster Toons AU, Monster AU Inspired by: SCP Foundation, Monster High (Kinda), and this post.
Synopsis
Long ago, humans and monsters lived together, but not in harmony. Monsters were beings to be feared, unknown entities dangerous to the peaceful lives of humans. But in the eyes of monsters, humans were barely any different...
It was because of this that the monsters and beasts went into hiding, leaving humans to believe they had simply disappeared and/or were merely works of fiction. But no...they had very much remained...
Enter the Paraview Foundation, a government funded organization founded by Arthur Walton, who believed monsters and humans could coexist in peace, and Delilah Keen, who believed understanding and researching these otherworldly creatures would benefit humanity.
Since it's founding, the Paraview Facility has become home to a whole slew of creatures discovered from many different places, from the undead, to the fae, to the otherwise otherworldly. Each with their own unique quirks and personalities.

UT AU, where the Amalgamates are actually dangerous creatures...
What if they are a threat to the kingdom?
What if the human souls that Asgore stolen are filled with hatred over being destroyed and the monsters celebrating their deaths?
What if when Alphys harvested their determination, she accidentally harvested their hatred as well?
What if that hatred affected the amalgamates?
*The amalgamates in this story look the same, but they act very different... they hatefully attack anyone who isn't an amalgamate, whether they're monster or human... and if a monster gets bit or scratched by one, they'll become an amalgamate as well, however humans are immune to the bites.
*Flowey still has his mind, despite technically being an amalgamate, but he's contagious like the others... Alphys gave Mettaton and Undyne a list of all the original amalgamates (including him), so they're trying to destroy the flower... Flowey is trying to survive the Royal Guard (while the amalgamates leave Flowey alone).
*Alphys (with Mettaton's help) trapped the angry amalgamates in the true lab, to find a way to destroy them... and maybe tell the amalgamates' families the truth... but Flowey accidentally unleashed them into the kingdom, when he used the elevator to escape the true lab then opened the surface lab's entrance.
*When the Amalgamates first escaped, Mettaton immediately warned the whole kingdom both on the internet and his tv show about the dangers of the amalgamates, while Alphys called Undyne, the Royal Guard and Asgore.
*Toriel is unaware of the apocalypse beyond the ruins.
*Asgore became an amalgamate saving Undyne, some Royal Guard and evacuating/hiding monsters in the capital of New Home.
*He tried using the souls to help the kingdom, but the souls brutally attack Asgore and escape to the surface.
*Currently, only 30% of Asgore's Kingdom hasn't 'melted' yet.
*Most of those from New Home and Hotlands had melted, the survivors either fled to Waterfall and Snowdin or live in Alphys' lab to help her find a cure and create weapons to give to the towns, while Mettaton guards the lab.
*In Waterfall, the only safe places are Blook Acres which is surround by a giant wooden fence (and has more houses now) and Temmie Village.
*In Snowdin, they created a giant wall of ice to protect themselves.
*After Asgore melted, Undyne became the new unofficial leader of the kingdom's survivors.
*Mettaton is immune to the bites, since he's a robot, but his body can still get destroyed.
*Monster Ghosts become amalgamates, if they're bitten, because the bites can affect the soul.
*Mettaton learned this when Mad Dummy's fake body got destroyed then his true ghost form got bitten by a melted beast; thankfully, Napstablook escaped to safety.
*Monster Kid survived, but his family melted and he was saved then taken in by the temmies.
*Alphys was forced to eventually come clean about creating the amalgamates, and everyone isn't as forgiving as they are in canon (because in canon they have freedom, while in this story they're all suffering)... The families of the original amalgamates and half of the surviving kingdom blame Alphys for starting all of this... Undyne and Mettaton prevent them from actually attacking Alphys.
*After learning the truth, Undyne has mixed feelings for Alphys... A part of Undyne still cares about Alphys and knows that it was an accident, while another part of her is angry at Alphys for creating an apocalypse that turned Asgore and Gerson and so many others into mindless melted beasts.
*Because most of the Royal Guard had melted, Undyne was forced to take new members, including Papyrus... a month later, Papyrus got bitten.
*Papyrus begged Undyne to destroy him before he melts, so he wouldn't hurt anyone... Undyne hesitantly and tearfully throws a spear at him... it destroys Papyrus' body, but not his skull and the melting didn't reach his skull, so Papyrus is technically cured.
*Papyrus uses his magic to fly around.
*Sans blames Undyne and Alphys for Papyrus losing his body. He blames Undyne for making Papyrus a Royal Guard then destroying his body, and he blames Alphys for starting the whole mess.
*Undyne gives both Papyrus and Sans the new job of patrolling INSIDE Snowdin's walls.
*Asgore's Kingdom no longer cares about revenge against humanity, they only want to survive and escape.
*Undyne plans to absorb one human soul, get six more on the surface to break the barrier and find an island on the surface to escape to... the amalgamates would be humanity's problem instead... but Alphys is still trying to find a cure.
*Flowey isn't as violent or insane as in canon, but he's very desperate to escape to the surface and escape the Royal Guard.

MOTU-Themed Pokemon Teams - Part 1
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4
Going to split this into multiple posts because there is a lot of them. This first post will have teams meant to represent an entire faction. After this they will all be teams of 6 with a MOTU character trainer. All Pokemon are allowed, including shinies, legendaries, and even beta Pokemon. I imagine this all taking place on an alternate MOTU universe where all the Eternian/Etherian magical creatures are Pokemon instead.
Faction Team: Heroic Warriors
Credit to Rachel Briggs for official-style art of beta Pokemon Gorotora and Beta Octillery, check out more of her art here: https://x.com/RacieBeep/status/1301892632667398144
He-Man - GOROTORA: Very cute unreleased electric tiger Pokemon. This is Cringer/Battlecat, He-Man's faithful tiger. The electric type fits because both He-Man and Battle-Cat are powered up after the Power Sword 'charges' them with lightning.
Teela - RAPIDASH: Teela rides a golden unicorn in the original minicomics. The 'firey' red mane also suits Teela.
Orko - PORYGON-Z: Both travel through alien dimensions and are small levitating beings thought to behave strangely. Computers and machines struggle to analyze or make sense of Orko's existence, and Porygon-Z is a computer glitch. Their eyes and color palettes are also very similar.
Sorceress - HISUIAN BRAVIARY: The extra eyes above Braviary's face look similar to the Sorceress headress. The Psychic/Flying type fits her nature as a powerful magic user and ability to transform into a falcon.
Man-At-Arms - BETA OCTILLERY: The beta version of Octillery was designed to look like a tank, which fits Duncan well enough with his military experience, but also has Octillery wearing a matching helmet to its trainer. I imagine this version as a water/steel type.
Roboto - GOLURK: Roboto is a Robotican explorer from another world, and Golurk's robot-like appearance and ability to turn into a rocket fit this very well.
Faction Team: Evil Warriors
Credit to TonOfDirt726 for official art recolored to match Shiny Alolan Marowak: https://www.deviantart.com/tonofdirt726/art/105-Marowak-826417045
Credit to ExoticPoke for official art recolored to match Shiny Drednaw: https://www.deviantart.com/exoticpoke/art/0834-Shiny-Drednaw-979755953
Skeletor - ALOLAN MAROWAK: In one episode of the cartoon, Skeletor creates an army of miniature versions of himself. In this Pokemon-filled universe, he wouldn't need to go to that effort, as tiny skull-faced magic users already exist. Fire/ghost is a fitting type as blasts of flame and necromancy are some of Skeletor's most iconic magical abilities.
Evil-Lyn - WEAVILE: Same hat!
Beast Man - DARMANITAN: Both are red-furred primates with some form of psychic abilities.
Mer-Man - SWAMPERT: These two look like twins! Swampert is partially based on a mudskipper, a type of fish which can travel on land - Mer-Man is also a fish that travels on land.
Trap-Jaw - SHINY DREDNAW: Maybe the most perfect fit here! The discolored lower jaw, the tiny hole in the head protrusion for both (Trap-Jaw's is meant to allow ziplining, I don't know why Drednaw has it but glad it does), and the colors all make these two a perfect match.
Tri-Klops - SPIDOPS: Spidops doesn't shoot eye beams, but the ogre spider it is based on has incredible powers of vision just like Tri-Klops! The ogre spider's eyes are 2,000 times more sensitive to light than humans! These two also look very much alike, especially the head/helmet, and their names happen to also rhyme!
Faction Team: Great Rebellion
She-Ra - GALARIAN RAPIDASH: She-Ra's faithful unicorn steed Swift Wind! The psychic/fairy typing is a great fit for She-Ra as she has a wide array of magical powers herself.
Mermista - PRIMARINA: Primarina resembles a mermaid with flowing blue hair, making her a spitting image of her trainer. The fact that Primarina is a magical singing seal gives the two another connection: Mermista has the ability to change from her mermaid form to a human one, similar to the selkies of Celtic/Norse mythology who could don their sealskin to transform into a seal or shed the skin to appear human.
Castaspella - DELPHOX: Delphox is based on spellcasters, and the two share similar color schemes.
Sweet Bee - RIBOMBEE: Sweet Bee resembles both a fairy and a bee, though she is actually an alien species. Ribombee is fairy-type and resembles a bee, but is actually a different species called a bee fly.
Bow - HISUIAN DECIDUEYE: Bow is a guy with a bow. Decidueye is an owl that uses its curved wings as bows. The hisuian version has matching colors, and the patterning on its chest is closer to the heart on Bow's.
Flutterina - BUTTERFREE: They are both butterflies :-)
Faction Team: Evil Horde
Credit to Dark Domain for official-style art of Beta Liepard: https://x.com/DarknWindie/status/1845348376440676444
Credit to TrainerParshen for global link art recolored to match Shiny Eelektross and Mega Mawile: https://www.deviantart.com/trainerparshen/art/Shiny-Eelektross-Global-Link-Art-425672639 / https://www.deviantart.com/trainerparshen/art/Shiny-Mega-Mawile-Global-Link-Art-461310496
Credit to TonOfDirt726 for official art recolored to match Shiny Glalie and Shiny Cradily: https://www.deviantart.com/tonofdirt726/art/362-Glalie-819125686 / https://www.deviantart.com/tonofdirt726/art/346-Cradily-819121552
Hordak - SHINY GLALIE: Same face and red eyes.
Shadow Weaver - SHINY CRADILY: Yellow eyes in a black void, cloaked in red.
Mosquitor - BUZZWOLE: They are both buff mosquitos! Mosquitor also has legs similar to Mantenna, another red Horde member.
Catra - BETA-LIEPARD: Liepard's moody and vicious personality and dark typing fit Catra well, but this recently leaked beta version fits even better with the same color palette.
Leech - SHINY EELEKTROSS: Not only do they look very similar, they both drain prey like a leech! Due to being a lamprey, eelektross also has a very fitting sucker-like mouth and even suckers on hands. I probably should have displayed Leech in the configuration that has sucker mouth and hands also.
Entrapta - SHINY MEGA MAWILE: Not only is the hairstyle and color very close, both can move and 'entrap' people in their hair!
Faction Team: Snake Men
Credit to Anarlaurendil for official art recolored to match Shiny Dudunsparce: https://www.deviantart.com/anarlaurendil/art/Dudunsparce-shiny-HD-994175646
Tyrantisaurus Rex - TYRANTRUM: As a beast of the Snake Men, Tyrantisaurus Rex would not ordinarily be a trainer, but it's fine for a team meant to overview the faction in general. Anyway they're both T-Rexes and the 'crown' on Tyrantum fits as this would be the mount of King Hiss.
King Hiss - SERPERIOR: Because King Hiss believes that 'serpents' are 'superior'! Also color scheme/nobility theme.
Reptilax - SEVIPER: Reptilax is a user of bladed weapons such as axes and swords, making Seviper a perfect fit. Could have also worked well for Fang-Or due to having the longest fangs of the snake Pokemon, but I like Reptilax a bit better.
Snake Face - ONIX: Snake Face is a snake man that turns people to stone with his scary snake face. Onix is a snake made of stone.
Kobra Khan - ARBOK: Arbok is Kobra Khan's first name spelled backwards. Also they can both spit venom!
Rattlor - SHINY DUDUNSPARCE: I am pretty sure this is the closest that the snake pokemon come to a rattlesnake, but this one has a drill instead! The red/yellow color scheme of the shiny fits well.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed, the trainer team parts will look slightly nicer than this.
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4

Kromsian Conflict Game
I should be sleeping, but I have woken up and can't get back to sleep, so; rough outline of a turn-based tactics videogame based on the Kromsian war in Darkening Skies.
You have a choice of two factions - the Kaeri Necrosoviet and the Kromsian Cult. Probably the best way to explain how they'd work is with a force composition breakdown.
Playing as Kaeri, you choose either a Necromancer or Commissar as your leader unit. Both have loadouts and gain XP and skills like XCOM. You'd probably be able to pick any units for both but some perform better with each type.
The optimal Necromancer force has: * Necromancer: Spell-casting commander - they can assume control of constructs to give them orders, up to a per-turn limit. They can boost their units power temporarily, and cast powerful offensive and supportive spells, but they're fragile and the whole force collapses if they die. * Thanatomatons: magically animated skeleton robot soldiers, armed with a variety of weapons but mainly trench knives and stakerifles. They can't take complex actions without Necromancer control, and the Necromancer can only command so many per turn. Without direct control, they just sit around on overwatch but are less accurate. Mass produced and durable, a lot can be fielded and treated disposably. * Shells: More advanced thanatomatons inhabited by a soldier's ghost. They can act independently and use advanced tactics. When destroyed their ghost can be recovered and retains XP to be resleeved. * Osseomech: Human-piloted skeleton mecha, very powerful and versatile, but if the pilot is killed it's just a hunk of bone and metal.
The main flaws here are that these units need a Necromancer or necrotech to repair them, so it's very hard to deal with damage during combat.
The optimal Commissar force has: * The Commissar: A powerful fire mage, leads from the front. Buffs living allies, burns enemies, wields a sword and pistol - usually. * Kaeri Soldiers: Human soldiers equipped with a variety of ranged weapons; stakerifles, entropy cannons, flamethrowers, grenades, etc. Gain XP, can be treated medically in combat, have battlefield roles like medic, sapper, etc.
I could maybe think of more but this feels like enough since they can be mixed and matched. The Kaeri benefit from disposable constructs and heavy weapons platforms, backed up by ready access to spells.
Kromsian forces are much, much smaller, but each individual is far more powerful. I'm thinking they're comprised of five core units generally but maybe it could be more flexible.
*Twlight Guard: Warrior-priests of the vampire cult, humans empowered by the Dark Gift, garbed in biomagical power armour. One of these Savaan is the commander, and each is a powerful combatant with a variety of augumentations and weapons. It's very possible for a heavy-build Savaan to charge a Kaeri gunline and kill a dozen soldiers barefisted. If their Commander is killed, it's a coinflip if they go on a berserk vengeful rampage or have their morale devastated. Gain XP and new gear across a campaign, very durable. Mainly use melee weapons. * Twlight Surgeon: A member of the Savaan who has manifested the power of the Dark Goddess, able to mold and meld flesh. At once medic and technician, they can heal allies and repair their armour. Technically a non-combatant but you could spec one to be pretty scary in close quarters. * Shade of the Divine: Sacred assassins of the cult, these Savaan have specialised armour and augmentations to be fast, stealthy, and lethal. * The Venerable Guard: Savaan who've suffered fatal injuries, sealed into their sacred armour, bigger and bulkier than their peers. Use heavy ranged and chemical weapons. * The Horde: Large, ape-like creatures armed with clubs. The cult produces them en-masse but they're fragile and expendable. A blunt instrument of situational use, like diversions and screening more valuable units from fire. * Beasts: A variety of biomagically engineered weapon creatures with distinct purposes, like monstrous hunting hounds. * Titans: Huge, monstrous creations born only to destroy. Of little use beyond being bullet sponges that force Kaeri to engage - if one lives long enough to close with the enemy, it would nearly win by itself. * Special Unit: Vampire: only available if the Kaeri breach the Kromsian capital, for defense missions. Can basically solo an entire enemy force.
The typical battlefield is basically Area X from the film adaption of Annihilation - an area devasted by magical warfare, twisted and strange. Small skirmishes, I think.
The forces are pretty asymmetric, the Kromsians playing a bit more like X-COM2's protagonists, with low unit counts using ambush tactics. You use your big monsters to keep the enemy busy while trying to find and kill the Necromancer. Meanwhile, the Kaeri have the numbers and faceless grunts, and five priority targets.
Missions would have to differ too. Kaeri would have to be more defensive, as the Kromsians try to sabotage their installations and prevent them from advancing on the Citadel. Meanwhile the Kaeri are trying to advance across the Bordermarches to reach the Citadel, and would be subject to ambushes along the way.
Maybe it'd be fun to let both sides hire mercenaries from the rest of the setting? I think a 4X style game with a tactical layer across all of Darkening Skies would be cool since there are points in time where the setting is too stable for total war but has room for small-scale skirmishes.

List of rangers who would sleep with a monster+which creature you’d see them being with(vampire werewolf etc etc you get the gist)
Idk I should’ve asked this during October☠️☠️☠️
....I'm going to be vague here, because from a certain standpoint this could be seen as moot, but I am willing to indulge you.
MMPR:
Kim: Probably fucked Zedd. Maybe made out with Scorpina. Could have managed a dual date with Rita, but it would just get too complicated.
Tommy: I can't prove it, but just know he and Goldar fucked while Tommy was under mind control. And also Anton half counts from a certain perspective. Also it's Tommy, so just...yeah.
Jason: Would be DTF Goldar and maaaaaaaybe Zedd, but just to prove a point. Possibly fucked Trey of Triforia, but was unimpressed.
Zack: Monsterfucker, don't question.
Bulk & Skull: Remember when Rito and Goldar lived with them? Don't deny it, we all know.
Zeo/Turbo:
Adam: Scorpina WANTS to fuck him, so...maybe.
Carlos: Was a vampire for a short time. Would have fucked all of his friends if it had lasted long enough. Sort of counts.
In Space:
They would ALL have sex with their Psycho counterpart, and all of the Psychos have monster forms. This is not a question, just a fact. But Ashley is the worst.
Lost Galaxy:
Every single one of them would have sex with Trakeena except Kai and Mike.
Lightspeed Rescue:
Chad: He fucked that mermaid, let's be real.
Ryan: I'm not sure if wanting had anything to do with it, but that is entirely how he lost his virginity.
Carter: People need to keep him out of trouble so much, odds are if left to his own devices, he absolutely would.
Kelsey: She is small and a freak. Enough said.
Time Force:
There is a 50/50 probability all of the future Rangers had sex with a mutant/alien/other at some point. Nadira probably regrets her time with Lucas because of this, though I can't say why.
Wild Force:
Merrick: Lived happily ever after by fucking off into the sunset with his furry boyfriend.
Cole: Has no concept about differentiating between species as long as consent is involved.
Max: *hand waves*
Ninja Storm:
All of them. This is not even a question. Especially with the Primaries.
Dino Thunder:
Conner. Just...Conner.
SPD:
They're all Meta, they live with aliens and monsters. Really it's more like a question of who wouldn't--Sky.
Mystic Force:
Again, they apparently have alternative forms, so it's heavily implied they're all down for anything. Even Maddie. But Vida had that vampire episode, so she gets it in multiples of two.
Operation Overdrive:
Ronny: I feel as if she would have gotten with Thor if given a second chance.
Rose: Having a ghost possess her body did things for her.
Will: This is really just in keeping with his liking a challenge (he's actually pretty tame, but if someone dared him, he would stick his dick in it).
Jungle Fury:
They. Are. Furries. Yes, even Fran.
RPM:
......................................................Gem and Gemma? Maybe? If someone could explain it to them? But given the limited options in this timeline, I think they'd be right to be choosy.
Samurai:
Mia: I feel like she would have asked Daya out on a date if this wasn't boring and the writers had a spine. And didn't hate women.
Megaforce:
Troy fucks the robot, next question.
Dino Charge:
Koda: Doesn't understand and doesn't discriminate, so....
Sir Ivan: I also think he just doesn't care.
Kendall Morgan: If they talk about science well enough, she doesn't see an issue.
Heckyl: Is an alien, so...?
Ninja Steel:
Brody: I don't think it's a matter of if, so much as didn't have a choice...because of the human trafficking thing. Then it was whatever by the time he got free.
Levi: Again...human trafficking. Does not care as long as consent is involved.
Sarah: Is curious enough that she'd be totally down for it as long as she could take notes.
Beast Morphers:
Devon: Is an angel and a precious bean, and would have sex with so many monsters.
+Betty: Not technically a Ranger, but Grid Battleforce is her workspace and...she would. She is a small weirdo. It is law.
Dino/Cosmic Fury:
They're all either aliens or queer. This isn't even a question. Yes, of course. Especially Amelia.
Boom! Comics:
Probably the only ones who aren't into monster fucking are Omega Trini and Omega Zack. True, Coinless Trini is definitely fucking Scorpina, and Coinless Zack tried a little bit of anything that came his way, but...that was different.
I'm a little on the fence about Billy though... True, he and Goldar got along in the Dark Dimension before Billy and Tommy got sucked over into the Coinless universe but, I'm...not convinced.

the cute ones you can read for free
This is something I've been meaning to make for a while, which is a convenient list of all the fiction I've written that is available to Read For Free Online and that is, uncharacteristically, not really horror, or pornography, or a downer, or dealing in depth & gritty detail with ~* ~*~* dark, upsetting themes*~*~*~. JUST the stuff that's sweet and gentle, with strong elements of optimism and/or humor. I do write stuff like that sometimes!
A few people have said to me recently or semi-recently that they would love to read my fiction but they're reluctant to do so because they really can't handle anything too bleak, or intense, or creepy, or X-rated. It's perfectly possible this is just a nicer, more polite way of saying "I'm not interested in and do not wish to subscribe to your (metaphorical) newsletter, thank you very much," but I've decided to proceed by taking it at face value. Hopefully, someone'll find this list useful!
So, in alphabetical order:
7 7 7: Very faintly, loosely autobiographical trans flash fiction.
Alterations: An Interview: Flash fiction about body modification. One of the first stories I ever had published.
Colossus: I...guess this is technically body horror? It has buildings made of fingernails and hair, but not, like, in a way that's supposed to be disgusting. Flash fiction.
Gardeners In Hades: This is mostly just some dudes complaining about their jobs and talking about plants. Like the previous three, very short.
Persephone, Traveling: Utopian slice-of-life type story about a robot moving from a society in which robots are abused and oppressed to a robot commune on the moon. Sequel to...
Pomegranate: Dystopian but chill slice-of-life type story about a robot and her one human friend.
Serpent's Bride: Flash fiction based on Beauty and the Beast + similar fairy tales.
The Giant and the Girl of Glass: Flash fiction about two disabled circus performers who are in love.
Additional stories, a little creepier or spicier, but still on the light side:
Close Encounter: A transformative experience with a weird, goopy E.T.
Clinic and Ghost-Rose: Two flash fictions! Content warning for institutionalization/implied medical experimentation and male pregnancy, respectively.
Leavings: A maid finds a bizarre mess at the roadside motel where she works.
Lanie's Monster: I really like this one, personally! Two middle school best friends face down an enormous creature. Content warning for implied/discussed death, implied suicidal ideation, and, uh, I guess kind of a nihilistic overall message? But funny! And joyful! (Download the PDF at the link.)
Nothin' But Mammals: The internet's premier flash fiction about giving a handjob to a horse therian in exchange for marijuana.
#self promo#short stories#it is hard to separate 'light' from 'dark' fiction 'optimistic' from 'bleak' etc. & philosophically i disagree with doing so#but for the sake of my more sensitive friends/followers/acquaintances: An Attempt Has Been Made!#also i'm just like really bored this afternoon

Mythic: Angels, gods, demons, and dragons. Creatures from legends.
Mutant: Mutated creatures, oozes, and other weird abominations.

↳ i'd never lie to you / y'know i'd die for you / yeah, i love you too / just do what you do / consume and gobble it up, c'mon show me some love / or i'll be blowing you up / i'm lying through my teeth / to get everything that i need / i'll be what you want me to be / that's why i'm dancing back and forth [...] free me / i'll drag a burning smile across this nation
► BATTLE: a soul can't be cut / kit walters
↳ my ears are ringing with a sound / feel the vibrations, my heart starts to pound / give in to darkness, bodies melt / how do we play the cards we've been dealt? / beauty, it's humanity's greatest sin / beauty hiding the beast that lies within / for all our righteous crimes we compensate / but as for me, it's far too late
► SAD: lullaby bye / dr steel
↳ with no one around this robot fell down / and the crank, it broke off of his head / with the jog to his hard drive, he felt all alive / the old robot he used to be, dead there was rage in his brain, there was pain in his frame / there was love, there was hunger, and strife / he felt lonely, rejected, at times disconnected / no answer to the meaning of life / so he sang
► RELAXED: sickness unto foolish death / akira yamaoka
↳ no lyrics for this one :3 but it's about sin and despair. yay!
► CONTEMPLATIVE: childhood (don't) a go-go / dr steel
↳ and i'm constructing this fantasy / imagination is saving me from the world i despise / and what about loneliness? / what about friends? / what about winning and getting revenge? / and what about all of the things that they've done? / it's time for some payback / it's time for some fun
► HAPPY: homewrecker / marina
↳ i'm only happy when i'm on the run / i break a million hearts just for fun / i don't belong to anyone / i guess you could say that my life's a mess / but i'm still looking pretty in this dress / i'm the image of deception
► HARD WORK MONTAGE: kill everyone / hollywood undead
↳ oh no, here comes the riot / does everything have to resort to violence? / if you think you can hide, go and try it / now let's let the fucking gun break the silence / close your eyelids / another shot and then here come the sirens / i thought i told you to keep fucking quiet / somebody's dying, so come say goodbye kids
► LOVE THEME: e.v.o.l / marina
↳ candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker / every kiss you give me makes me sicker / a day in the dark, a day in a cloud of gloom / i look at you, you look at me / milk and roses, squeaky clean / well you're the best i've ever seen / and i'm your dying beauty queen / it only takes two lonely people / to fuck love up and make it evil / it only takes a drop of evil / to fuck up two beautiful people
► BREAKUP / HEARTBREAK: power & control / marina
↳ but love will always be a game / we give and take a little more / eternal game of tug and war / power and control / i'm gonna make you fall / i'm gonna make you fall / we give and take a little more / 'cause all my life i've been controlled / you can't have peace without a war / without a war, without a war
► FAILURE / DEFEAT: cirice / ghost
↳ a candle casting a faint glow / you and i see eye to eye / can you hear the thunder? / how can you hear the thunder that's breaking? / now there is nothing between us / from now our merge is eternal / can't you see that you're lost? / can't you see that you're lost without me?
► FINAL BATTLE: world burn / taylor louderman
↳ i wanna watch the world burn / i got the gasoline / i wanna watch the world burn / and everyone get mean / cady, time to watch your back / cady, time to turn and cough / because you took me down / but you didn't finish me off

Thinking about yandere fantasy today.
A yandere familiar, a human who was so in love with you that they offered to be turned into a cat and despite repeated offers from the witch to turn them back refuses because they won’t be able to be as close to you as a human.
A yandere vampire who at first is annoyed by your spirit which sticks around after they kill you but after time they become obsessed with the ghost who roams their manors halls.
A yandere beast who falls in love with one of their caretakers. Who breaks out from their prison and leaves a trial of carnage looking for you, for their sweet caretaker.
A yandere demon you summoned who becomes obsessed. So pretty and ethereal, they won’t let anyone else summon them and them won’t let you find a way to get rid of them.
A yandere human who becomes obsessed with a vampire. Who locks you away and starves you to keep you weak so you can’t escape, who only lets you feed from them.
A yandere lover who after your death makes a deal with some dark forces to have you brought back. They’re obsessed now with making sure nothing happens to you again and the dark forces hanging around grow obsessed with you too.
A yandere Selkie who falls in love with mermaid that inhabits the same waters as them. They never stop trying to give you their pelt so that they’ll have no choice but to be yours forever.
A yandere ghost who begins to possess your lovers body after falling in love with you. Just so they can feel your touch and how it is to be loved by you.
A yandere reaper who instead of sending your soul to your afterlife keeps it for themselves. Who takes you along on all of their jobs and risks upsetting the balance of the world just for you.
A yandere human who becomes obsessed with the alien who abducted them. Who lets you run whatever tests you want as long as they can stay on the ship with you.
A yandere fairy who becomes obsessed with you after replacing you with a changeling. Who keeps you in the fairy world because there truly is nothing for you to go back to.
A yandere human who falls for newly turned zombie reader during the apocalypse. Who hunts for you and helps to keep you human. All they ask in exchange is that you let them keep you close and watch over you.
A yandere drider who accidentally catches fairy reader in their web. Who wraps them up in webbing when it’s cold and gives them just enough venom to be compliant.
A yandere werewolf who finds an injured human reader in the wilderness and brings you back to its den. Who protects you from the wolves that aren’t as nice as them and gives lots of kisses.
A yandere Naga who falls for mermaid reader. Who’s the last of their kind and is so happy to have finally found a creature similar to them.
A yandere ghost who falls for medium reader because you’re the only one who can see and speak to them.
A yandere robot who falls for its creator. Who takes over every piece of tech you have to make sure your kept safely at home. They’ll take care of everything for you.
A yandere demon who becomes obsessed with you. After years of waiting it’s finally time for them to collect the debt for the deal you made, you’ll be staying with them forever.
A yandere shapeshifter who just changes into someone else and worms their way back into your life every time you get fed up with their antics. Who proves there’s no escape from them.
A yandere Phoenix who falls in love with an immortal reader. Who reincarnates and finds you again in every life.
A yandere harpy who mistakes your fear for courting and takes you to their nest. Who no matter how terrified you are only puffs their feathers in response.
A yandere banshee. Formerly your friend, after foreseeing your death they become obsessed with keeping you safe.
A yandere mad scientist creating you, a Frankenstein type monster based on their lost obsession.
A yandere vampire who falls in love with you, a time traveler. Who finds you no matter what era you go to, who consumes you always.
A yandere nymph becoming obsessed with the human who calls their woods home. Who uses their powers to replenish your garden and keep others out.
A yandere apprentice that becomes obsessed with their teacher. Who sabotages every potion they make and ruins every spell they cast just so they can stay with their beloved witch a little longer.
A human who falls in love with their guardian Angel. Who cuts off your wings so you’ll be forced to stay with them.
A yandere vampire who falls in love with the reaper who takes their victims souls. Who starts to kill more and more just to have a glimpse of you.
A yandere witch who turns their obsession into a cat just so they’ll be bound to them forever. Who takes such good care of you but refuses to turn you human again.
A yandere dragon who was tasked with keeping people away from your tower but instead find themselves falling for you.
A yandere fairy who hears your siren’s call and sacrifices their wings to the water for you. Who essentially force you to to take care of them in their new and unfamiliar existence. They ruined themselves for you so isn’t it only fair you let them ruin you in return?
A yandere sugar daddy/mommy genie. Who breaks the three wishes rule to give you anything and everything you want.
You make a deal with both a yandere fae and a yandere demon and now they’re both here to collect. Poly fantasy vibes.
A yandere pirate who falls in love with a trapped mermaid. Who could set you free at any moment but chooses not to.
A town chooses you as a human sacrifice to their deity but instead the deity becomes obsessed with you and lays waste to their patrons.
Maybe I’ll write these for October like post one a day or something.

❝you're as beautiful as the day i lost you❞
ˑ 𐇛̲﹗27! neteyam sully x 27! mate, widower neteyam sully x assumed dead mate, angst, comfort, brief mention of bonding, brief mention of explosions, mentions of death, grief, war hero neteyam sully, inspired by httyd 2 stoick and val's reunion
➷ NAVIGATION/MASTERLIST. PT2.
When he was all but seventeen, Neteyam lost the love of his life.
The sky people dropped an explosion, forfeiting your life without a speck of ash to remember you by. Immeasurable lives were lost amidst the inferno of flames devouring the forest. Knowing that you've descended the mountains on that particular day to pick out his favourite fruit, the fangs of guilt sunk into his neck.
He planned to commemorate your first day as one of the people and his mate, never expecting he would have to remember it as your final day as well.
After all these years, Neteyam still mourned for you. It wasn't spoken or conveyed through actions, but everyone could tell through the fog of dejection around him and the smile that never reached his eyes.
He had been engrossed in protecting the rest of his family, watching the years flash by, without ever catching a break.
Until tonight.
“Fnu, both of you.” Neteyam snapped at his sisters, tone harsh with concern when he asked them to be quiet. “How could you venture out during the eclipse? Do you have a death wish?”
For the many moons that came without you, Neteyam slept out of necessity. Four hours would be his usual. Even as his muscles were sore and his bones ached, he couldn't find comfort in resting. When he had retired to the night early, he didn't expect to wake up two hours later to find both his sisters missing.
Imagine his fear when he located them near the ruins of the sky people's old base, vulnerable and bare, fiddling with the remnants of their mechanics. The only person keeping his sanity intact was Loak, who to everyone's surprise, wasn't involved in this at all.
“Neteyam, you wouldn't believe who I saw一”
He raised his hand, signalling for Tuk to stop talking.
In front of them, Loak froze.
Sighing, Kiri placed her hand on Neteyam's biceps.
“Neteyam, I need you to calm down and maybe lower your weapon. This information would be best processed with nothing lethal in your hands.”
He frowned, both at Kiri's words and Loak's flabbergasted expression. His younger brother dropped his firearm. Neteyam's blood ran cold. Loak never drops his firearm. He passed by his siblings, patting Neteyam's shoulder with a slackened jaw.
It was as if Loak saw a ghost.
“You might want to take this one.”
Neteyam had no complaints. Swiftly, he positioned a poisoned arrow against the string of his bow. He led his siblings, treading stealthily. For his prideful brother to back down, perhaps it was a vicious beast.
Dread knotted in his stomach. With every step nearing the exit, his tail twitched in vigilance. Mentally, he prepared himself for the worst. But what was the definition of worst? it could be a thanator, a pack of viperwolves, or even the sky people.
“Kalweyaveng.” son of a bitch, he muttered under his breath. Did it matter what he would have to face? During the war, Neteyam had slain creatures, dreamwalkers, robots and humans. He was ready to kill anything.
Neteyam emerged from the thick metal door, stretching his bow as he laid eyes on his prey. One glimpse would be enough for the young war veteran to mark his enemy for death.
“Oh.”
Oh.
At once, he understood why Loak had reacted that way.
Beneath the swirling branches and silver starlight, at the centre of the yard, there the phantom of his dreams stood一you. Fireflies adorned your unravelled hair. The borrowed light illuminated your raised eyebrows and separated lips. Ah, your lips. Neteyam remembered the last time he tasted them. The day he lost you.
A barely audible gasp echoed in his ears. Your gasp. Dear Eywa, he had missed the way you breathed. The way you lived.
Discarding his bow, he took a step forward. It was shaky, just like his fingers that removed his own ikran riding visor. Your golden eyes widened, alarmed at his sudden appearance.
You gulped, abandoning the basket of fruits.
The human base was a deserted place that grew unique fruits and vegetables. Though the Na'vi condemned any location where the humans set foot, you worshipped the emptied places. You weren't the best huntress and sometimes; you want an easy dinner. Who wouldn't?
Tonight, you sneaked into a nearby base and foraged next week's rations. The last thing you expected was to find him.
“I know what you're thinking, Neteyam.”
So you knew how much he missed that voice? How much he craved to hear you say his name again?
“Staying away all those years. Why didn't I come back to you?”
No, that was the last thing on his mind. Neteyam could only conjure thoughts of you being alive. His mate was alive. In thinking so, a part of him also began to revive.
Neteyam was a complex man who learned to mask his true emotions. His father built it into him from the second he learned to walk. But right now, great mother, he surrendered. The walls he built around himself collapsed.
During this twinkle of time, breathing in the night mist, he was in his rawest form.
“The RDA was after your family and they've been hunting down the traitors of humanity.”
Neteyam continued his advance, glossy eyes glued on you the entire time.
At first, you held your ground. You could stand talking to him from a distance, albeit Neteyam was adamant to close said distance. Your legs faltered as you retreated.
In the background, you noticed his siblings. They're alive. All of them were. You missed them too, but right now, all you could focus on was the loud thumping of your heart. Your ribcage threatened to break with how rapid your heartbeat was. It was a miracle how you had yet to faint.
“Your father is a strong warrior. He can protect his family. But I can't.” Gradually, your back hit against a tree trunk. “A prodigy like you wouldn't understand, but it was the best option.”
Neteyam listened to you, like he always did. He understood where you were coming from: you were a scientist without prior combat experience. During the war, the only time you held a weapon was to hunt a small animal for food.
“My death guaranteed one less burden for you.”
He wanted to disagree, but his voice tangled at the base of his throat. Where you lacked in hunting, you made it up with your intelligence. That was one of the reasons you ended up surviving.
Neteyam had so many things to say, so many questions to ask. Nonetheless, he didn't want to interrupt you. What if he spoke and the mirage broke? What if you vanish before him? Oh, his poor heart wouldn't be able to handle it.
He shook his head, banishing that thought. Though it seemed his action led you to think he didn't believe you.
It maimed you, urging you to explain yourself better.
“I know I left you all alone. But don't you understand? That was my way of protecting you.”
Two years ago, they called a truce. After the war, the humans pledged to never walk on pandora land ever again. However, you understood how fickle human promises were. Paranoid, you vowed to hide yourself until your death.
“You must resent me, but I have no regrets.”
Your eyes shot all over the place. At one point, you shut tight them, hoping when you open them again, Neteyam would stop in his tracks.
To your surprise, he did. His hot breath fanned your face as you craned your neck to face him. He had matured into a strong and mighty warrior. Scars, both tiny and big, littered his blue skin. He had grown taller too, now towering over you and enveloping you in his shadow.
Disbelief marred his handsome face. A sense of nostalgia twanged his heartstrings. He had stared at you like this, ten years ago. As if you were the last thing he wanted to see and now the realisation of it all shocked him.
“Oh, don't be so silent, Neteyam.”
Your lips trembled.
His silence scared you. The minute he entered your view, you couldn't stop the words from flowing out of your mouth yet Neteyam hadn't spared you a single alphabet.
“Go on一scream, shout, say something.”
Neteyam cupped your cheek. His heart melted at how you instinctively leaned into his warm touch. It proved you were here, right now, right infront of him. Goosebumps rose on his skin to surface, and he became so sensitive.
The Great Mother must've appreciated his endeavours to protect his planet. This was her reward, her sign that she had witnessed his glory. She had returned you to him.
You're real.
Alive, healthy and breathtaking.
Once upon a time, he carved your face into his memory and sculpted your features out of his love. Be that as it may, nothing came close to your actual visage. The one he was holding onto as of now.
Neteyam found his voice, but it was fragile and soft.
A single tear escaped his eye.
“You're as beautiful as the day I lost you.”
reblogs are appreciated

Haven't played a pokemon game since Soulsilver long long ago, but I do always look forward to a new generation to see what designs and beasts they come up with. With the release of Scarlet and Violet, I got talking to my friend @james-silvercat about the new dex, and eventually our conversation wound up on the paradox pokemon. There is certainly a cool concept there, but when looking at the future paradox pokemon, we found them to be quite lacking. Nothing but robot clones with barely any changes to the overall look or design. Blah! Of course, this led to us discussing what we would do with such a concept, which inevitably led to us coming up with our own ideas of what future paradox pokemon could be. The brainstorming was so fun, I couldn't help but draw some up!
What we got here (from top, left to right) is an Eiscue based on the Old Saybrook Blockheads, a Ferrothorn based on the War of the World Tripods, a Gardevoir based on the Flatwoods Monster, a Sunflora that is mainly just a robot but came to be thinking about the Dade City Flowers (which were also robot flowers), a Cacturne being the Pascagoula Alien and a Noctowl based on the Mothman.

Seriously, though, the Fuse and Ultrahand abilities make a lot of stuff about Calamity Ganon’s behavior and the Malice in general make sense.
The Malice being homebrew/bootleg Ultrahand Goo made from Ganon’s own soul/raw negative emotions makes so much sense. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this Ganon try to homebrew his own version of tech he found useful. Remember how the creepy cocoon he was incubating in resembled the Shrine of Resurrection?
He uses Malice for a lot of the same stuff Link uses Ultrahand for: sticking things in the environment together (remember the Akkala Tower puzzle where he superglued the iron bridge piece you used to move about the area just out of your reach?) and sealing off doors and rooms.
However, since Malice is a janky bootleg version of whatever the Ultrahand Ghost produces, it’s got some additional properties. For instance, it’s not well behaved and doesn’t stay in one place, instead draining the life force from its surroundings and continuously expanding to assimilate more stuff, a little like how cancerous cells won’t stop multiplying. In fact, it seems to house not only Ganon’s will, but his wish to reincarnate. When not given specific instructions, it starts attempting to build a body, growing into eyeballs or these weird “ribcage” structures or veins. When strategically applied, Ganon’s Malice is super effective as an environmental hazard/door obstruction.
The Malice can also Fuse things. It wants to Fuse with things. When not given instructions, it climbs the walls like kudzu or grabs at living things. Humans it devours, monsters it dissolves into skeletal revenants and assimilates into those floating skull defense drones. Passive fusions aren’t particularly strong or permanent, but the desire is there.
When actively used to Fuse things together by Ganondorf himself, the resulting constructs and creatures are a lot more dangerous. The Blights and the primary Calamity Ganon body were all actively-designed constructs created by Fusing Malice with Guardian parts. (I have some Malice! I have this discarded military-issue teleportation module! Uh! Thunderblight!) Interestingly enough, Malice can also Fuse on its own with monsters in a non-destructive way. Silver and Golden monsters who are “blessed with Ganon’s dark magic” were likely monsters who were able to Fuse successfully with large amounts of raw Malice, boosting their abilities beyond natural levels. Even low-level monsters have a little Malice mixed into them, which explains their supernatural vitality and ability to resurrect. We have not seen what happens when a human or other non-Monster person is Fused with Malice. Or have we? 👁️
Ganondorf in TotK is now actively Fusing monsters with additional materials to give them a little extra help in the martial arts department, which explains why their horns look so weird.
Anything Fused with Malice can be controlled by Ganon’s primary brain. We see it with the monsters mining for ore underground in the trailer, and we’ve seen it with Naydra. Ganon controlling the Divine Beasts? Likely because his little Blight-offshoots each Fused with the giant robot they commandeered.
Harbinger Ganon was a fusion-hungry little monster whose sole imperative was to construct a body as good at destroying everything as possible. Mutated Ganon is what happens when he Fuses with monsters of sufficient power. Main Timeline Terrako couldn’t be broken free of Ganon’s control because he wasn’t just possessed, but fused together with Ganon.
The reason killing Main Timeline Harby Ganon also killed the Calamity of the Alternate Timeline was because by that point they’d Fused into a single being. At one point offscreen, Harby Ganon and Alt Calamity Ganon gave each other a lil’ smooch and Fused together into a single omnicidal entity.
The Fusions Ganon creates are brittle. If you apply sufficient force to even his most powerful constructs or “kill” the Malice binding the Fusion together through hitting its weak point, it immediately falls apart. It remains to be seen whether the Ultrahand Ectoplasm is subject to this limitation or is a lot more stable than the Malice.
This is all I’ve got so far, but I’ll definitely have other thoughts as time goes on and we start learning more about what’s going on in the game proper.

William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, two former animation directors for MGM’s Tom & Jerry theatrical shorts, all but revolutionized animation on TV. By focusing on character models and backgrounds and limiting actual movement, Hanna-Barbera were able to create dozens of hours of television cartoons. They began with kids comedies like The Huckleberry Hound Show and Yogi Bear; then they transitioned to primetime sitcoms like The Flintstones and The Jetsons. Eventually, beginning with Jonny Quest in 1964, they’d also do action series. By the end of the ’60s, H-B gave audiences possibly the weirdest of these series: The Herculoids.

Jonny Quest proved you could do action animation without much, well, action or animation. The series got by on its amazing, comic-book-like designs and tableaux. While Quest only lasted one season in primetime, it proved the studio could appeal to a young audience in the market for action, adventure, a little bit of horror, and science fiction. Hiring character designer and eventual series creator Alex Toth, H-B gave the world Space Ghost and Dino Boy, a half-hour timeslot made up of two mini-episodes of Space Ghost and one of a much less interesting show, Dino Boy in the Lost Valley. Toth would similarly create Birdman and the Galaxy Trio.
In both instances, Toth’s talents created a superhero series with unique and offbeat villains fighting a stalwart hero. Whether patrolling space or Earth, Space Ghost and Birdman were typical superhero-types fighting against various baddies. But The Herculoids, which premiered in 1967, the same year as Birdman, was different. It was almost like Toth wanted to see if he could make a series entirely about character design, with hardly any world building or “rules” as such.

The show’s opening narration bears this out. Its first line—spoken by voice actor Mike Road, who voices basically every adult male and creature on the show—is exceptionally vague. SOMEWHERE OUT IN SPACE LIVE THE HERCULOIDS.
That’s it! That’s all we know before we get a rollcall of characters.
"Zok, the laser ray dragon; Igoo, the giant rock ape; Tundro the tremendous; Gloop and Gleep, the formless, fearless wonders; with Zandor, their leader, and his wife Tara and son Dorno. They team up to defend their planet from sinister invaders. All strong, all brave, all heroes. They’re…The Herculoids!"
That is literally all we ever get in terms of who or what the characters are. Zandor, Tara, and Dorno are all humans who look vaguely like Robert E. Howard barbarians. But those other weirdos?! They don’t look like they’re from the same planet, much less the same team. Zok is just a dragon. You know dragons. Igoo is a gorilla made of rock. Tundro is a six-legged mix of a rhino and an armadillo who shoots energy balls from its horn. And Gloop and Gleep are just blobs of stretchy goo with two black eyeballs. Certainly very iconic designs, but not of a piece in any way. We don’t even know what a “Herculoid” is and why this group are them.

Moreover, all they do is fight off planetary invaders. But why these interlopers want the planet (which is either called Amzot or Quasar depending on the episode) is never established; it looks for the most part like a primeval world full of jungles and rocks. It’s not until the ninth episode that we even see other people on the planet, as the Herculoids help some villagers who are under attack from raider apes. Sometimes there are castles on the planet, sometimes just grass huts, other times no signs of life at all.
And the villains are all, for the most part, way better equipped. Invading armies or robot death squads, each with armor and laser guns. And yet a man with a shield and a slingshot (yes really) and his gang of weird beasts that don’t talk always win. Each of the 18 episodes of the series consists of two usually unrelated adventures. There’s nothing like a central narrative at work throughout any of them, and each adventure is pretty much the same, save for a new villain or threat. Only one baddie ever even recurs. You can essentially watch any episode in any order. And yet, all of these very strange disparate elements totally work for me. This was a show designed to keep kids engaged for 20 minutes at a time and it’s fully watchable as such. In its gorgeous Blu-ray edition from Warner Archive, I can just throw on a disc and hit “play all” and just enjoy myself while I do other things. It’s got monsters fighting robots and stuff, man! What more could you want?!

The Herculoids gained a fervent cult following over the years, mainly due to its undeniably cool character designs. In 1981, Hanna-Barbera brought them back as part of their Space Stars block along with Space Ghost and two additional space-themed hero shows. I remember my dad being so excited to introduce me to The Herculoids when we got Cartoon Network in the ’90s; this was the peak of animated action when he was growing up.

Toth was a lot like the Jack Kirby of animation. He let his imagination run wild with characters and designs, and for several years, he was the king. If nothing else, The Herculoids occupies a special place in the history of Hanna-Barbera animation in the pre- Scooby-Doo 1960s. And without The Herculoids, Hanna-Barbera offshoot Ruby-Spears Productions would never have produced Thundarr the Barbarian, and that show absolutely rules. Oh wait, that’s right; Kirby and Toth designed those characters too.
