this might be a hot take, but it feels like a light smack on the face to have Lilith as aroace rep and not include Willow.

now, i have no issue with Lilith being aroace. i love Lilith and there's no actual problem with her being labeled as such.

but in comparison to Willow, who hasn't shown true romantic interest or chemistry with anyone until s2-s3 kinda pushed it in there, i do feel a little bit salty as a questioning arospec person.

i don't particularly understand why there has to be one of every type, when the 'romance' between Willow and Hunter negatively affected both of their arcs and sidelined their true character as a whole. to only have Lilith as the aroace character, when she was an antagonist previously, can possibly send a weird message.

maybe none of this really matters and i'm just nitpicking, but i really would've loved to have Willow as the aroace rep too. there doesn't have to be one way or another.

I ADORE qpr Huntlow, and I’m happy on how many people are choosing to see them that way, ESPECIALLY since I recently discovered that I am on the aro and ace spectrum, but I ALSO REALLY LIKE THEM ROMANTICALLY because they kinda match the “girlboss x malewife” dynamic AND they’re QUITE DIFFERENT from some of the m/f ships I’ve seen IN A WHILE (and they’re probably both queer, or at least one of them is, let’s face it) and I haven’t seen enough of plus sized girls like Willow getting desired and found attractive like Hunter does (the fan fave white boy!!) plus I LOVE FRIENDS TO LOVERS. anyways, just feeling positive right now, and they’re just so neat to me. if you hate them DNI!!!

Hollow Mind really did that thing where it like, presented itself as a "Luz and Hunter vs Philip" episode, but added in romantic subtext by paralleling Luz and Hunter with past lovers AND did a whole thing where Hunter and Luz find out they've been hurt by Philip's lies...

And they made sure it was only Luz and Hunter in Philip's mindscape ... a mindscape that features paintings where you can see Evelyn and Caleb... the two most important people from Philip's past...

... And they made Luz wear a jacket with a big ol "E" on it and they made Hunter wear Caleb's symbol on his cloak [which is the bird - symbol of Caleb's home town, Gravesfield.]... in an episode where Luz and Hunter are 2vs1ing Philip.

... Interesting, I'm sure that was just an oopsie teehee accident. [this is sarcasm btw]

Huntlow Week Day 5: Gardening / First Kiss

I like the idea that Willow's building confidence would lead her to be the one to initiate their first kiss. And, realistically, she's way more composed around Hunter than he is around her, so this just makes sense to me. Also a bit of the 'gardening' part as well!
