I'm alive! I swear! I'm trying to knuckle down on writing HWtC pt5, and wrestling my non-existant attention span is proving difficult some days.

Here's a little snippet as a treat!

“Hello,” Henry murmurs, his deep voice quiet enough that if Alex wasn’t perfectly in tune with it, it’d disappear in the rush of water. A line of cool skin presses itself to Alex’s back, and he turns in Henry’s arms, conditioner pooled in one hand, to kiss his husband. Henry smiles into the kiss, his hands slipping to Alex’s hips and then further still, pulling Alex closer, and who is he if not a servant of his husband’s desires. “Your mother doesn’t like tardiness,” Alex murmurs against Henry’s mouth, and Henry sighs and tilts his head back and away. “The one time I try and seduce you when we’re on a schedule, and you bring up my mother,” Henry says, accusatory. Alex grins and kisses Henry’s chin where it’s jutting out petulantly.  “Sorry baby,” he replies, mouthing at his jaw. Henry sighs and his head tilts back further as Alex kisses the junction where his neck meets the corner of his jawline. And then Alex, with great inner personal strength, pulls away. “Later?” he says and Henry huffs.

And I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Writing Price is so much fun, dancing between insidious and charming and leaving everyone wondering if he's a good guy or a very bad one is downright delightful. And we do find out some of what he said to the boys in one of the next few chapters! I can't wait for the yelling people are going to do about it. >:)

question for people that know the full story of the higurashi series (I DON’T, SO KEEP THAT IN MIND)

before i say anything, i guess i should explain a little. so i was looking for any more good games with time loop mechanics that maybe have flown under the radar (like elsinore & the sexy brutale) & one of the lists said higurashi.....which, like. maybe i’m just dumb but that was news to me lmao! i’m only on the 3rd chapter right now, but maybe i should’ve guessed that by now?? i really don’t know.

but anyway, my question is: YES OR NO, is it a particularly major spoiler that the characters are stuck in some kind of time loop....??
