LOVE IS A GENTLE THING (Gabriel 2014)

Warnings: Fem!reader, angst, implied cheating, use of Y/N, implications of sex, time jump

Chilled in the kitchen of a city tomb The light would flicker like a violent womb The night was thicker than a smoky fume Y/N waited in her room. she expected him to crawl into her room at any moment through the window whisking in the cool summer breeze.

Gabe, he loved her like he loved no one The way she laughed and held a smoking gun The way she always said "What's done is done" And he is not the only one, he knew that.

"Love is a gentle thing Yours is thicker than a velvet ring" she told him. "Yours is thicker than a velvet ring" she reminded and reassured him when he doubted her feelings for him. Y/N leaned in for a sweet kiss that he escalated, slipping her clothes off. She always said this to him and it always calmed him. his skin thawing from the cold demeanor he'd prepared when his overthinking had begun.

A victim here with a sharp, sharp blade gabriel often watched the scissors on her vanity and let the thoughts he was afraid of the most creep up on him And Gabe, he knew how she was getting paid. or so he thought. "you're cheating on me." he accused. and of course she whispered her magic words in his ear while she caressed his face. Her water broke and they would have to wait

And when he knew that she was fooling He faced the mirror to avoid the thing something felt wrong. but he pushed. "We're out of money and we've sold the bling And I just wanna take you home" Y/N told him as he kept watch at the mirror. "d'you here me? I just wanna take you home" she whispered to avoid waking the baby.

"Love is a gentle thing Yours is thicker than a velvet ring" this time it was him uttering her famous words at the alter. the girl he absolutely adores clasping his hands and listening to the words that in the past she had used to comfort him and in all honesty saved him with. Yours is thicker than a velvet ring

And I'm wondering he thought as he looked at his sons dark eyes. Ring he reminded himself playing with the ring he and y/n picked out. "And I'm wondering" he said out loud to himself this time and he thought about his and his wifes blue eyes.
