What did you think about Audrey’s ending? Hers is what stuck out the most to me since I finished the series. Also have you read The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer? Would love to hear your thoughts on that as well.
I have not read Secret Diary but I'm curious to!!
I loved Audrey's ending, though I get why people were disappointed initially since she's one of my favorite characters in the original show and I definitely wanted to see more of her lol. But I ultimately really really liked how it was handled.
I think, first of all, it was just done in such a way that was really scary and existential and I just enjoy that sort of genre. It reminded me in plot structure of a Harold Pinter play (a major writer of early modern existentialism if you don't know him, lots of his works surround a small cast of characters in a limited space going back and forth with this sort of mundane but off-kilter dialogue full of non sequiturs, often building up to a kind of shocking, dreamlike twist or moment, with lots of themes about digging deep into psychology and social/power structures; I really liked his work in college and spent some time studying him), and the "twist" at the end just felt so scary in a really unique way. The plain bright white room she finds herself in and the simple grey mirror she's looking into just feels so sickeningly sterile and medical, it makes my skin crawl. So like, A+ presentation imo.
I think narratively it works too, including in the context of what I was saying in my last post, especially re: "It's not 1990 anymore" and the question of what Twin Peaks the show really is, or what shows in general really are, on a meta level. I think The Return is very anti-nostalgia, not in a necessarily condescending way (that is, I don't get the sense that Lynch is mocking or insulting the viewer for desiring or having nostalgia, more that he is just very much trying to engage in what exactly nostalgia is and its pitfalls in a constantly, rapidly changing society and medium, what it means to have a sequel to a show decades after its cancellation, etc), but you know... stuff like the fact that he chooses to keep Cooper as Dougie until the last 3 episodes and then rug pulls 1 episode after he returns and has him end the series as this strange, much darker version of himself also speaks to Lynch kind of intentionally avoiding just recreating the show the viewers remember. I think to keep Audrey separated from everyone else and instead trapped within her own mind, regardless of what that means on a literal, textual level (ie. theories of if she's in the Black Lodge, in a coma, in a psych ward, etc) feels very apt for the type of story Lynch is trying to tell. Like, when she's first introduced SO LATE into the show in a scene that answers absolutely zero questions and makes almost no sense upon first watch I was kind of frustrated at first, but the more I sat with it I actually found it kind of hilarious. And the fact that we never learn who "Billy" is! It's just dripping with this sort of sarcastic existential irony that I kind of adore.
All that said, I will also say I'm actually a big proponent of the belief that Audrey's ending is NOT an entirely pessimistic one. I actually think the fact that she sees herself/her reflection laid bare for the first time instead of "Charlie" is actually an almost objectively positive thing. I believe truly that confronting yourself and being able to acknowledge that you're in a hell of your own making is always a net positive. Some of the most painful but rewarding growth I've ever personally faced in my own life was doing exactly that. So I think Audrey actually making it to the Roadhouse like she wanted, dancing, feeling that freedom and joy and getting back in touch with herself, and then realizing that all along the obstacles she was facing were her own demons reflected back at her is genuinely an ending with a lot of hope buried within it. Like, she's taken the first and perhaps hardest step, and very much could from here escape and find her happiness.

Benefit of hindsight pt. 1
I've said previously, and still believe, that Campaign 3 was insurmountably hamstrung by its own premise. But the CR crew had no way of knowing that for sure, because nobody had ever tried to execute that kind of premise before. Actual Play is a relatively new medium, and some pioneers need to die of dysentery for the caravan to proceed. The cast deserves kudos for all the new ground they've broken and the hard work they've done.
However, I do think there were some ways that specifically Matt could have elevated the campaign while altering the plot, setting, and characters as little as possible overall, and I think the hypothetical animated series would hypothetically benefit from a couple of these changes. If I were Matt and got a do-over, here's what I'd tell myself:
Try not to punish players for staying in-character by withholding lore that they don't explicitly look for, but would benefit from knowing (the PCs may not care about why Otohan turned on the Matron or what exactly happened in Molaesmyr, but the players and the audience might)
Switch up introductions/session zero backstories. Instead of pairing Imogen with Laudna and Ashton with FCG, pair Imogen with FCG and Ashton with Laudna. Start the campaign with Orym, Dorian, and Fearne having already met up with Bertrand and established connections in Jrusar
Light a fuse for conflict with the gods by having FCG (and all their baggage) come across Imogen pre-campaign shortly after she's prayed for a friend to help her understand her freaky dreams
Marisha brought Delilah back because she was still interested in her, but nothing new was learned. Give Laudna more dreams for FCG to explore, dreams that led Laudna to travel to Marquet pre-campaign by way of Jiana Hexum's residuum smuggling biz. Give Laudna dreams/visions where she plays out Delilah's earlier, Cerberus-relevant backstory AS Delilah (and projects Imogen onto Sylas when Marisha's character inevitably gets a thing for Laura's)
This is the most step-on-toes change, but make Taliesin choose between Hishari/titan crap and Dunamancy crap, and encourage him towards Dunamancy crap. That way Ashton's build stays the same, they don't have to go out of the party's way to get their questions answered, the party can learn about the Luxon/Predathos dynamic, and at least one PC is firmly rooted in Marquet as opposed to Tal'dorei/Wildemount/Issylra/the Fae Realm/the sky (Aeor, Ruidus, Silken Squall)
Put the Nobodies in the Paragon's Call
Liam loves rping a Sad Queer, and Laura loves reconciling with a bad parent, but "the twins" have both expressed a willingness to expand their horizons. Take them up on it
Liam explicitly wanted to make a supportive character who starts from a place of acceptance and uplifts the other PCs. Give Orym hopeful NPC interactions and regular updates from Dorian in Robbie's absence to keep him healthy throughout his plot-mandated gauntlet of wound-reopening
Go full in on Liliana as an antagonist (not necessarily an evil villain, but someone who opposes BH and never switches sides). Reveal unethical ways that Ludinus got the answers to win her loyalty. For instance, psychic experimentation on criminal Vergessen patients like a certain failed Volstrucker and the woman who saved him
Stay tuned for more bullets!

I'd never played the quarry, until dawn, etc. any of those interactive games that are basically movies, until my friend called me and another friend over.
And let me tell you, it was so fun! We discussed the story, the characters and what to do as we were being given the choices. The only thing I have to say is, uh, we absolutely should not have divided the characters by who has the most playtime because certain people were never tutorialised about certain mechanics until we encountered them. NAMELY SHOOTING. Dear God, we were awful at shooting.
To begin with, our character division was the following:
P1 (host): Laura, Jacob and Max. She argued that Laura is her favourite character, that Jacob is her second favourite (it's her console, we didn't know the characters, we didn't know the game, we weren't going to argue), and that she'd also take Max because he has the least gameplay to balance out the fact that she had Laura.
P2 (me!): Ryan, Dylan and Nick (the boyz). I like games but I'm purely a pc gamer so literally anytime anything happened that required my input, both of them, thankfully, screamed that at me lol
P3: Emma, Kaitlyn, Abigail. I don't have a lot to add other than the fact that she was in a bloodthirsty and chaotic mood and that that shaped a lot of the game lol
We made it with all playable characters alive except Max (P1 had never tried making him swim across the lake so we told her to go for it) and Kaitlyn, which is where the tutorial thing comes in.
The first time anyone shot a gun (me with Nick in the shooting contest) we somehow had auto shoot on? And every other time after that that someone had to shoot like Nick with Abigail and Chris with Ryan, the target was right in front of you, you didn't have to aim. Kaitlyn was the first time that we had to aim and considering the break we took between sessions, P3, if she ever knew how to aim, didn't remember how, only how to shoot... so, uh, good for Travis, at least his nephew survived?
Actually, it was especially good for Travis because we killed the rest of his family! His awful mom? Check. His dad? Check. Both of his brothers? Well, they were collateral but still, check. And I don't think you can save Kaylee, so, RIP, I guess.
In our run we actually didn't have a lot of infections (even though we walked in saying that we were going to mess everything up lol), we had the obligatory Nick, Max and Laura, we also had Dylan at the SOS hut (P3 and I argued that cutting his hand off was stupid and definitely going to kill him through blood loss and, after we made the choice, P1 told us that he couldn't die of blood loss which is absolutely ridiculous since Ryan can from a stab wound???), Jacob (because P1 knew that'd guarantee his survival (literally cheating)) and Ryan by Laura.
Notable choices we made (or maybe not notable idk how the game is changed by my choices other than ppl dying):
Laura was nice to Travis in the prologue :)
Jacob pulled out the rotor arm
Abigail and Emma broke into the cabin
Dylan went down the trapdoor and broke one of the steps
We missed all tarot cards in chapter 1 and 2
Emma took the fireworks
Ryan kissed Dylan and Abi kissed Nick
Jacob didn't stupidly drown
Nick bit Bobby because I didn't remember how to shoot :)
P1 begged me to not shoot the bushes but I already wasn't going to because I didn't remember how to :)
We, I think, extended Emma's chase sequence as much as possible because we thought that trapping Emma in an attic of sorts, was stupid so we always did all we could to avoid the trapdoor.
Kaitlyn completely avoided Bobby
Abi avoided Bobby
Dylan got bitten but remained unamputated
P1 purposefully infected Jacob
Abi shot Nick which P3 happily did since Nick was pissing her off
Emma used the fireworks against a werewolf
Laura didn't shoot Travis in the flashback (if it was P3, she definitely would have though)
Ryan left Jacob in the cage (this is a stupid one because P1 insisted that we ignore the puzzle and leave him there since his survival was already guaranteed and she didn't understand how the puzzle worked)
Constance got her head blown off (woooo!)
Ryan avoided Bobby (Bobby isn't very good at this)
Jedediah died
Ryan stabbed Bobby and then my boy got bitten by Laura (which I'm pretty sure is what killed Bobby later)
I (Dylan) got lost in the junkyard for like 20 mins but when I finally got to the story bit Kaitlyn was fine and uninfected
Ryan shot Chris and he, Travis and Laura set off to find Silas
Max swam to shore and died :(
Kaitlyn is chased by Caleb, investigates the noise to pick up the silver shells and, well, fails to shoot Caleb :(
In the car, Laura took the wheel
Laura then shot Silas (wow I can't believe that to make the 3 of them survive, we have to kill a child of an ethnic minority???)
In the end, I don't think anyone cared much about Nick, Abigail or Travis. P1 loved Laura and Max. Ryan was cool in the beginning but as things progressed we cared less and less. Emma was our queen, Dylan was the one all of us were always excited to see since he acted like he knew he was in a horror story lol, and Kaitlyn was my dear, beloved, lawfully wedded wife
It was super fun though, and we were already lamenting that it was over until P1 said that she also had Until Dawn and we could play that too. Sooooo, guess what we're doing next? :D

Teen Wolf Fic Recs Part 2: Steter
It took me quite awhile to gather all these together, so please enjoy discovering more parts to the incredible world of Teen Wolf, provided to you by the wonderful writers of our fandom.
Leave comments and kudos for these writers if you can, they really deserve it, they're wonderful. And it's my honour to try and share their creations with tumblr.
These are Steter, Stiles Stilinski/Peter Hale fanfictions. Read them at your will. Check the tags on the actual fics for warnings and such.
I have included links to authors that write a lot of Steter as well, and some of their fics for examples. I'm sorry this post got so long, haha, but enjoy the stories, they're worth it.
If any of the links don't work, just comment and I'll fix it.
Check out my other Sterek fic recs [Part 3] and [Part 4] and Steter fic recs [Part 1]

Blood Runs Cold by Smalls2233 on Archive of Our Own
Words: 111408
Chapters: 22/22
Summary:
“So then why are we letting Scott and Derek search for it if you know it's useless?”
Peter looked down at Stiles and cocked his head with a grin. “Because I think seeing my nephew and your best friend run around like headless chickens while I think up a plan is hysterical.”
“And the plan is…?”
----
Trusting Peter Hale is something that Stiles had repeatedly told himself to never do. He had seen first hand the results of Peter's plans and schemes, but when a shadow began tormenting Beacon Hills, he found that sometimes he'd have to to play along with Peter's games.
This story does include a dose of Chris&Stiles interaction about midway and carries on throughout, and then Chris/Peter towards the midend, which also carries on. And it kind of dissolves into Chris/Peter/Stiles. If that's not your taste, that's fine, because the majority of the story is Stiles/Peter, and that majority is really really good Steter.

No One Listening Tonight by Smalls2233
Words: 6985
Chapters: 1/1
Summary:
That left… well it left Peter and only Peter. Relying on Peter for help was only slightly better than stabbing himself through the eye with a hot poker. But desperate times called for desperate measures.
Of course, there was always the option of packing up and letting whatever was trying to destroy the town succeed this time. Stiles snorted under his breath as he thought about how that would probably leave him with fewer injuries than dealing with Peter would. But unfortunately, that wasn’t an option. Stiles knew he needed to head downtown to Peter’s apartment and pray the man was willing to work with him.

Stiles stumbles into a magical trap forged by a wannabe warlock.

The Striking Complication by aurevell on Archive of Our Own
Words: 27235
Chapters: 4/15
Summary:
The smile slips off Stiles’s face. “Hey, um. Why am I here?” he asks, voice unsteady. “I’m—I have this weird feeling like I shouldn’t leave you. I’ve felt all day like...” He can’t finish the thought.
Peter looks as surprised as Stiles feels. A strange expression passes over his face, there and gone before Stiles can decipher it.
Stiles snaps awake each morning with the sense that he’s missing something. Weirder still, he can’t wrap his head around his sudden, inexplicable trust in Peter Hale, who seems to know way more than he’s letting on. Nor can he guess why a half-remembered nightmare seems to haunt his every move.
Rinse and repeat. Because time loops suck, apparently.

the teeth right down to the blood by sazzafraz on Archive of Our Own
Words: 2133
Chapters: 1/1
Summary:
‘We’re pretty fucked right now.’ Scott says. Stiles doesn’t speak but there’s something singing in his bones that says Scott got the message anyway. (In which both are bit and things are gruesome.)
This has a sprinkling of Scott/Stiles, Scott/Stiles/Peter, and Scott/Allison as well as Steter, but it's worth the read, a good story with an interesting concept.

Author: sazzafraz
This author doesn't have that many Steter stories, although they do have a few. Although they do have some pretty lengthy Teen Wolf fics about other characters of the show.

Eden's Gate: Left Behind Chapter 1 - Welcome to Hope County
A new series!!!. Take place 2 years before the events of Kidnapped.
I created "Hope County University" for this series, and a few other locations that aren't in the game. Because its all headcanon shit.
Warnings: None
Word count: 1.9k
John Seed slightly out of character. (That's what happens when you encounter a Winchester 😂😂)
Tumblr media
*********************************
Hope County, Montana, February 2018
*Arizona by Hey Monday plays on the radio*
A black 1970 Monte Carlo with a small trailer attached to it drives down the road with an Arizona license plate on it "ARIZONA E34R90D".
19 year old Kate Winchester, who just moved out of her aunt and uncle's house drove 7 hours from Jackson, Wyoming to Hope County, Montana. Drumming her fingers on the steering wheel to song.
Starting her new life, leaving the hunter life behind her, she applied and got accepted at Hope County University.
Hoping to get her Master of Science degree in Psychology, and then move on to get her Doctorate Degree.
Luckily her aunt and uncle were able to cover her tuition for the whole year. She even told them that she was willing to pay her own rent, and which surprisingly is only $750 a month. Hell her rent is cheaper here, than Arizona and Wyoming put together, but of course they're willing to pay for it, even though she refused, so she saves some money there.
She’s been attending college since she was 15 years old. She lied about her age to get a head start, with the help of her aunt Laura, and her grandmother Eliza. She attended community college in Wyoming before wanting to get transferred out of state.
She was able to rent out a small 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house with a decent size backyard that is owned by the University, which is why the rent is pretty cheap usually it costs a lot more, and she also got a job at the University's café & diner with starting pay at $14.50. To her that seems very unrealistic but she’ll take it, she ain’t complaining.
She drives down the road with her dog Haley in the passenger seat with her head out the window trying to bite the wind as they drive down the road.
"Smell that fresh Montana air Hale" she says with a smile, Haley pulls her head back in and lets out a bark, her eyes widened and has that look like she's smiling.
You know that look dogs do with their tongues hanging out making them look like they're smiling.
Driving down the road, off on the side, a huge billboard sign with a photo of some man with the caption.
“We Love You and We Will Take You”
"That's very welcoming" she jokes.
Kate turns onto a small side road that leads to her new home.
She drives slowly, while looking at the GPS on her phone.
After a few minutes she finds the house.
"Here it is" she says, pulling into the driveway.
Shutting off the car, and getting out.
"Come on Hale" she says, padding her thigh.
She takes the house keys out of her pocket, and opens the door.
It's a decent size house for someone who's living on their own, the house is slightly furnished. Her uncle Brent sent some of their old furniture to her new house.
A coffee table, a few chairs, few lamps, a night stand, and a full size bed with the frame, head, footboard, mattress and box spring.
The backyard is bigger than she thought. She opens the door, and lets Haley out to the back.
"Go sniff around" she tells her.
The 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd sniffs the corners of the fence, looking for a spot to do her business.
Kate goes back inside, leaving the backdoor open for Haley.
She checks out the rest of the house, the 2 bedrooms, the bathroom and washroom, luckily a washer and dryer comes with the place. So at least she wouldn't want to buy it.
She goes back to the living room, and sees that Haley came back inside.
She goes to close the backdoor, locking it, she heads out to the front and unpacks her trailer. Boxes, boxes and boxes of her stuff, clothes, books, her WiFi router, personal hygiene products, small furniture, stuff for school, some groceries she has in her mini fridge, some of Haley's stuff, her toys and food.
She finishes unpacking around 3:30pm, her room is all set up, her bed is fixed, all her clothes are put away in the closet and dresser, she has photos of her friends, family and posters of bands she likes hanging up on the walls.
She set up her 60inch TV, the box and WiFi router in the living room, she put up curtains on all the windows, and put some plants out on the front porch.
She has all of her hunter stuff in the 2nd bedroom, her angel blades, demon blades, holy water, bags of salt, her books, her dad’s journal. Bullets filled with rock salt, and all of her other hunting supplies.
She has everything set up, and all she needed now was a kitchen table, a couch and maybe some appliances like a microwave, toaster and a coffee maker.
She sighs in relief, lays back on her bed, Haley jumps on, laying next to her.
"You wanna go into town?!?" she asks the dog, she looks at her while tilting her head to the right.
"You wanna go for a walk?!?" she asks again, she tilts her head to the left while still looking at her. She lets out a loud bark which catches Kate off guard, and jumps off the bed.
Running back and forth down the hall, jumping at her on the bed in excitement.
She gets up from the bed.
"Okay let me find your leash" she says, while going into the living room.
She goes through some of her boxes.
After a few minutes, she finds her leash and puts it on her collar. Debating whether or not to take her in the car, or walk into town.
"It's only a 10-20 minute walk from here to town" she says out loud.
After a couple of minutes, she decides to drive, just in case some stores don't allow animals in, she can leave Haley in the car with all the windows down of course, or maybe leave her outside.
They drive into town, and she parks her car next to a gas station store.
"Come one Hale" she says.
She jumps out of the car, Kate locks it up and they walk past the small shops.
A grocery store, a pharmaceutical store, a gun shop, an autoshop, and  lastly a bar called "The Spread Eagle".
She looks around, and sees an appliance store, she really does need those appliances.
She walks closer, and sees a sign on the door saying "Sorry, no animals allowed inside".
"Of course" she says to herself.
She ties Haley's leash to a parking meter under a tree
"I'll be right back" she says to her, petting her head.
She goes inside the store and looks around. Right off the bat she finds a toaster with 4 slots, and it costs $30 in which to her is a steal.
She finds a coffee maker and a microwave all that costs a decent amount, less than she thought it would be.
She pays for her stuff, and goes back outside to untie Haley, they walk back to the car, and put the appliances in the backseat covering them with a blanket.
They continue to walk around the small town of Falls End located in the Holland Valley region. They cross the street to go onto the opposite side. Up ahead Kate sees a small group of people walking into a church on the other side of the street. Thinking nothing of it.
While on the other side of the street at Falls End Church, John Seed is standing outside of it holding the Book of Joseph, preaching.
"Sin must be exposed so it may be absolved. We must wash away our past" while some of his men escort some locals into the church.
"You will know the power of Yes, you will confess your sins" he continues.
As he looks around he sees Kate with Haley walking on the opposite side of the street.
He stares at her as she walks by, a smirk appears on his face. Perhaps he is engrossed by her?. He gets a weird feeling in his stomach but he ignores it.
He continues to watch her as she walks further down the street away from the church.
He shakes his head, snapping out of that trance, and continues to preach to the sinners.
Kate walks down the street towards a different market. Once again they don't allow animals in the store.
So she ties Haley to a small iron fence in the shade "I'll be back'" she tells her again.
She shops for about 25 minutes, she doesn't like to keep her dog outside that long especially out in public, she grabs bread, eggs, orange juice, fruit, cereal, milk, breakfast sausages, bacon, dog treats, grounded coffee and butter.
Typical stuff you would buy at a grocery store.
She pays for her stuff, goes outside, unties Haley putting the leash around her wrist.
"Here you can hold your treats" she says, as she gives Haley her bag of Beggin Strips.
She carries it in her mouth making the bags less heavy for Kate, and they head back to the car. They cross the street, now walking on the church side. John steps out of it, and sees Kate walking towards the church.
He gets a better look at her, she's really cute. Actually she’s more than cute, she’s beautiful. Black hair past her shoulders, brown eyes, looks like she could be 19-22 years old?. Could she be a college student?. He's about to say something to her, but it gets ruined when one of his men calls out for him.
"John!!" they call out.
Turning his head to look back at him.
He quickly looks back at Kate who is too far for him to call out to her.
He rolls his eyes in annoyance, and goes back inside the church to see what they want.
Kate walks back to her car, and puts her groceries in the back seat.
Haley jumps into the front seat, and they drive off.
They get stopped at a red light in front of the church, John looks out the window, and sees a black 70 Monte Carlo with a German Shepard sticking its head out the window.
He quickly recognizes the dog, and sees Kate in the driver seat.
Quickly, he goes outside before the light turns green. He doesn’t know what to say to her, so he yells out "Nice car!!".
Kate can't see who yelled it because Haley is blocking her view from the passenger side, and is barking at some of the peggies outside the church.
So she yells back, "Thank you!!" followed with a honk of the horn. She in a way acknowledged John even if she didn't really see him.
She continued to drive down the road heading back home.
After a 10 minute drive, she makes it home, and puts all her groceries away, hooks up the appliances and sits back on one of her chairs for the rest of the day watching TV with Haley chilling at her feet.
“What a day Hale” she says, resting her feet on the table.
*3 in half hours later*
That night John is baptizing, cleansing some sinners, making them a step closer to being a part of Eden’s Gate. He’s doing his usual thing, making sure they are cleansed, and washed away from their sins.
He can’t seem to get Kate off his mind, he finds this very strange because these are some new feelings, that he has never felt before.
After he finishes the baptism, Joseph notices something is off about his younger brother.
He approaches him once he’s finished.
“John?!” he says, approaching him. “What is troubling you brother?”.
John doesn’t know what to say, he stumbles with his words “Nothing, Joseph”.
He places his hand on John's shoulder, their foreheads touching.
“It’s about a girl, isn’t it?” he asks, sounding like he already knew what this was all about.
John looks down, and lets out a soft sigh.
“Go to her. She can be your other half, when we cross Eden’s Gate” he tells him, before walking away.
John looks up at his older brother as he walks away, leaving him to contemplate with what he should do next.

Chapter 1.
It was quiet, not a sound was heard in the whole studio. However, there will be lots of funny noises, as usual. The rooms and corridor were not very brightly lit, but this didn't prevent Bendy and his friends from having very interesting time together. The surroundings seemed dark and gloomy. It was only in the interior of the rooms, nothing more. If a stranger had entered and seen the gray-yellow walls, the dull wooden floor, they would certainly have thought that they were in the most depressing place in the world, which was far from the truth. The creatures living here, called "ink creatures" or "monsters", had a great time every day, enjoying singing songs or drawing pictures. Often the word "monster" causes negative impressions, for example, fear or contempt. But black and white cartoon characters were created as such, and they chose kindness and sincerity instead of rage and urge to destroy. They didn't want to create chaos at all, because they knew that they already had the most important in their whole existence - each other. Nevertheless, terrible things were meant to appear... People who have drawn the characters and brought them to life have done terrible things...
One fine day, Bendy discovered something new in the recording studio. In general, the imp found reasons to have fun every day. He was constantly illuminated by new grandiose plans and ideas, which he shared with Boris and Lara. Today was no exception.
"Guys, let's go quickly!" he exclaimed with impatience. "I have to show you something!"
"I hope I didn't wake up at five o'clock in the morning in vain." Boris remarked sleepily.
"Don't even doubt it!" Bendy confirmed. - You will definitely like it!"
They went down the wide wooden steps. The friends approached the vocal room, isolated from the rest of the room by the additional wall. This is where friends used to record their voices.
"Here, take a look," showed Bendy. "The device located opposite the microphone can not only record sounds, but also add different effects! For example, I can record a song in reverse form or make a montage, and also remake our tracks or combine them together."
"So you woke us up to show what you were going to do?" mechanic emphasized the penultimate verb.
"Exactly." Bendy confirmed, ignoring his friend's reproach.
"Oh, it would be great to hear the sound of one of our songs in reverse," Laura said. "Quite an interesting device."
"Have you also noticed what an amazing range for creativity it expands?" the musician smiled. "We'll definitely experiment with the sound overlays."
"What I'm more interested in is how did all this come before us?" the girl asked quietly.
"If it appeared, then it was necessary for someone. Why guess?" Boris asked. "I'm much more concerned about where my gloves are. I'm going to look for them."
Then he left the recording studio, looking under each chair and pulling gears and tools out of boxes - what if the loss is there?
"Hmm, aren't they on the table in his room?" Lara thought.
Bendy chuckled.
"Let him remember. He'll find them anyway." he smiled.
The girl smiled back at him.
"You know, Bendy, I have to tell you something..."
Bendy froze.
"I think I wanted to tell you something too..." he said and immediately blushed.
"Remember when I said I didn't have my own songs? Actually, I've written a couple of tunes, but I can't show them yet. I hope you'll understand..."
Bendy immediately came to his senses.
"Oh, of course, you can keep your creative ideas secret and share them only when you feel ready! Just know that I will support any of your endeavors." he replied good-naturedly.
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Well, see you soon then..."
"See you at lunch..."
Before leaving the room, Lara turned around and smiled at the young man. Bendy waved after her.
Mixed feelings of joy, sadness, embarrassment, and dreaminess crowded into his heart. But he knew one thing for sure - there was a lot of good events ahead of them... After all, their world is especially noticeably sparkling with magic and miracles.
