I watch Li Ming, and all I can see is anger Because Li Ming has the rage of teens and this sense of justice and he sees all the bullshit and can’t accept it Anger at the injustice of the world, the unfairness. The anger of a nephew seeing his uncle having nothing of his own, who keeps sacrificing himself for others. A teenager who wants something more for himself but without the means to achieve it. He is angry because he can’t be himself even when his peers, he keeps hiding because he is different, he feels different, he knows he is different. And so he wants to go away, run away, where he feels like he can be free. And then I watch Heart, and all I can see is loneliness The deep isolation he feels, which is not because of his disability but to choices made by his parents. Always repressed, on his own, with nobody to communicate with really. And searching solace in alcohol, a way for him to escape the reality he finds himself in.And I feel deep down he is starving for company, he desperately wants it and doesn't know how to go around and ask for it

And then they find each other in the worst possible circumstances and they are both being suffocated by their surroundings and suddenly, strangely, it feels like a breath of fresh air, the loneliness can be soothed, the anger washed away And it’s new and fragile but it’s there

I discovered Just kiss Already after you uploaded part 3 and I have a question. So Part 1 is 1 chapter, Part 2 is 2 chapters, Part 3 is 3 chapters. When you say your writing "the next fic" do you mean like ALL of Part 4, which you then break down into chapters before you upload them or do you upload chapters individually as you complete them?

The fics themselves aren't so much chapters as they are a serialized collection of fanfics that have an overarching plot.

The reason I'm writing "Just Kiss Already" as a series instead of a multi-chaptered fic is because each fic has its own little mini plot inside it. Each of them are a mini story that's gradually building up the larger story at play.

I'm also keeping it as a series because I go back and forth between POV's a lot. Hopping between POV's in a multi-chaptered fic can work, but I usually like keeping them contained to a single POV. It makes it easier on me and the reader, so I don't have to clarify which character we'll be following in each chapter.

It's a collection of stories that are all linked together, kind of like a TV show, but you can totally view them as parts too.

"De-Lovely" is part 1 , "Holy Suffering" is part 2, and "Damage Control," is part 3.

I've actually split up the entire plot of "Just Kiss Already" into three different arcs (or three seasons if the TV analogy helped), each with their own theme. But I shall not tell you what they are, because that would be spoilers 😈

Sometimes, I don't intend for the fic to be split into multiple chapters, but if it gets bigger than I expected, I break it up because it's easier on me when I get to the editing stage. Editing one large chapter is so much harder than editing a couple small ones 😅

I hope you're enjoying the series! I'm very excited to get into the juicer bits of the story 😏

I’m not entirely sure what to name her, but probably something along the lines of Evelyn Tulie or Eve N. Tulie for the purpose of it being a play on ‘eventually.’

I think she’s very silly!! She’s a quiet person methinks, and she also has no control over her tail! Say, Earl is sneaking up on her, no doubt for a little prank. Her tail senses vibrations and can’t see! So it just. Bites him! Of course, every time she screeches and apologises endlessly, though Earl never learns and everyone knows she can’t control her tail, but still!

She’s got goo goo eyes for a certain fella… not that she’ll ever say it, but she sure makes it obvious in the way she looks at him.

She uses She/Her and They/Them (🏳️‍⚧️!), and she is Omniromantic!

I’ll also put a bit of things extra just BECAUSE!

I got a lot of inspiration from Mawile, with its big chompers on the back of it. As well as the weird chomper plants from Mario for i suppose the general shape. I also put the colour palette for her outfit on her headband bc I’m just sneaky like that ✨

I actually really like her design! I’m pretty proud of how this turned out. I hope you like it as well!

Hot take, but i see Zenyatta's and Ramattra's dynamic like Ahsoka's and Anakin's dynamic. Looking at their story, their interactions, the lore behind Null Sector and the lore with Zenyatta. Both are warrior monks, one takes the other under his wing, but the duo eventually finds the dogmatic approach of the temple restrictive and unhelpful for truly maintaining peace. One finds their own path to resolving conflict, individual and distinctly separate from the temple (Zenyatta, Ahsoka), the other proposes authoritarian control to maintain peace and order, rejecting the temple, and hurting those they wish to protect (Anakin, Ramattra). Ramattra is fighting due to fear and anger, scared of loosing those dear to him (Anakin vibes). Zenyatta is fighting due to a desire to help peoples find peace, and to find his purpose (Ahsoka vibes). With that said, I could be completely wrong, but Ram and Zen really do seem something like Ahsoka and Anakin's dynamic to me, like found family siblings, brother and sister, mentor and mentee, eventually breaking away from each other in a tragic loss, and that's why I cannot for the life of me ship Ram and Zen under that interpretation lol. They are brothers, both in the monastic and found family sense.
