I'm freaking out about many things rn but mostly how revamped and spruced-up šta bih ja sounded?!?!?! like, they added guitar parts for the verses that gave it more depth, the bass sounded more prominent and fully fleshed-out, PLUS a stripped-back start to the second verse making it more musically interesting?! it was an absolute masterpiece, if it was amazing before then it is fucking incredible now!!!

The absolute delicious angst that will eventually happen when this all blows up in Eddie's face is going to be some of the most beautifully acted out scenes amongst the cast and I cannot WAIT.

The overall feelings he has inside probably buried deep within of trying to find someone to essentially become a new mother/wife in his family dynamic is still in him regardless if he is actively aware of it or not. So seeing someone who is the splitting image of your ex DEAD wife must of been the most out or body experience he has felt so Eddie did what he hasn't done in so long and that's being so selfish for once and putting himself first to chase after familiarity. He is so desperate to have what he once had with Shannon and to finally be this idealized family he always wanted to be that he might even try and lie to himself that what he's doing is all going to work out and that him, Christopher and this doppelganger CAN be the perfect family but we know that can't be true, this is a completely different woman with a different life who is has no clue who Eddie is outside of their interactions that day.

Cheating always ends horrible and a cheater will always get caught so when it all blows up we have Marisol breaking up with him and Kim being so upset about being the other woman she would also leave and it doesn't end with them because just THINK about the absolute frustration Buck would feel of his bestfriend lying to him and not only lying but the fact that the woman he was sneaking to see is a mirror image of Shannon which would probably open the possibility of a scene between the two of Buck ripping him a new one.

My favorite possible scene is one with Eddie and Christopher, a kid who also had to deal with grief and a kid who is growing and finding his voice in this world. He isn't a small child anymore and he isn't going to take this quietly when he finds out he WILL fight with his dad and I hope it leads to him refusing to talk to his dad because then we can see the absolute look of despair on Eddie's face and we can get a shot of just him in a quiet place with no one around him and we can get a glimpse of what he is for the first time in a while:

i am just a little guy my worst crime is that im so small wdym i have a close shift tomorrow, tuesday and wednesday to finalise any last minute travel requirements, a shit ton of chores to do for my mum on thursday including moving literal bags of sand for hours, another shift on friday until 10pm, just to get up at the arsecrack of dawn on saturday to go to newcastle to see sam fender, stay until monday before travelling down to london to see harry styles, then fly out to america on wednesday for a month's long roadtrip. i'm god's tiniest little soldier.
