I started off reading love is complicated and then I consumed all your other fics because they've all been so good, and so different from each other, they all seem so fresh and full of life

grey ridge- it has to be my favorite out of all of them, I'm kind of a sucker for ceo rhaenyra, but can we talk about alicent in this fic???? she is so good??! I disliked Otto in this (as one does) but the flashbacks that happened made me understand him a lot more and, although I don't think they redeemed him for me, it really shows how three-dimensional you made him. the happiness that R+A have in this is really what makes it for me - and I really like Harwin and Erryk as supporting characters, they stood out to me as faves

song of the exposition- there's that argument that alicent has with rhaenyra in grey ridge at the cocktail party in ch 5 where she expects Rhaenyra "to answer rejection with rejection, like she used to, when they were younger" and it's kinda cool to see a glimpse of their younger-selves before they finished growing up

ride the dragon (do it quickly)- I really like this one! especially how it is the closest to canon, it's nice to have "what could have been" type thing when one inevitably thinks about how the show/book ends with these two. the second chapter from daeron's perspective was really great, I imagine it must have been fun to write! I like how not everything isn't perfectly resolved at the end of ch. 1, the messiness of it, if you will, adds a sense of realism I enjoy with it

leaf and blade- this is the one I read last out of all of them bc I wasn't sure what to think of a teacher au, but it's sooo good, it's one of my faves (which is hard to say when all 6 are my faves!) syrax being a lizard is so great and funny and ur so right that this really is a summer fic with the way that it reads. I really love the kindness in this fic and it's hard to read about Rhaenyra and her struggles with her inheritance+future but it's also so good to read at the same time? I don't know how you do that but it's so incredible to read

love is complicated- the first fic of yours that I read!!!! it is such an Immense, richly-packed fic that I honestly struggle with what to say about it because there are so many little details that I'd like to comment on. I love Alicent's big sad wet brown eyes and this fic defo provides that, but Rhaenyra is so sweet in this to Alicent and I just love them both in this, I also really like the little boardgame group they have going on and I sure as hell like Laena a lot more in this than in bodhrán beat, but all of the friends (and brothers) in this are really good!!

bodhrán beat- umm modern royals? it goes so hard! I can't find it in myself to hate Rhaenyra in this for cheating on Alicent bc you're sooo good at characterization that I can really understand the difficulties that both of them are going through in this. I really liked the part with teenage Rhaenyra spending time at Rheanys' house. I am putting my heart in your hands, trusting that it will all turn out in the end

ENSEMBLE STARS!!!!

1. Tomoya Mashiro

oh my god i love this boy so much. genuinely. I cant even remember when i started liking him, because he wasn't my original favorite character. It was his RELOADED card that got me into his character though. I'm a big zombie and zombie apocalypse guy, and seeing this little guy in a ZOMBIE APOC THEMED CARD!! made me go a little insane. And it just kinda spiralled from there- I love his design, his personality, his interests, his struggles, his interactions with the other characters- he's just an incredible character to me. He's the "Average" boy, but he's honestly so, so much more than that. He's the leader of Ra*bits, (my favorite unit and imo the best one~), he's an incredible actor, he reads manga, he loves animals (he's got like a disney princess-like power with animals-), he loves his omurice, he loves idols, he loves his unit, he's just so passionate. His insecurities speak to me personally too, and it's like this little guy was made just for me. He may seem cute and plain, but he's such a nuanced character. It's the way that, since he feels boring surrounded by all of the chaos and such from the idol world, he's able to stay right-minded- such as in the RELOADED story. He's so insecure about being forgotten or being uninteresting, and he wants to stand out because he believe that he isn't impressive or special enough to be a good idol, and he works on that every day. He's a leader, and a friend, and can bring a certain bluntness and reason-mindedness when he needs to. He's just, hands down, my favorite character in the entire game.

2. Mao Isara

Mao was my first ever favorite in the game, and has constantly remained a favorite of mine since the beginning. This can be partially accredited to my bsf ( @autisticmao ) lmao, but also i just honestly love him. He's so underrated and such an interesting and deep character, with a beautiful voice, appearance, and personality. I genuinely love him as a character, and always will.

3. Yuzuru Fushimi

It's actually also Ky's fault that i started liking yuzu aswell, even if they somewhat deny it. They introduced yuzumao as a ship to me (which is one of my fave ships still tbh) and i kinda just started loving his character. His backstory is so interesting and the way he interacts with other characters, and his personality, and just. He's such an interesting character. I may not be the biggest finé fan (im defo not an eichiP, despite my username), but yuzuru's just different for me. I love him quite a lot for many reasons.

Graveyard Dancing: Yeah I didn't notice the acronym until I saw the artist's spotify page... love the song though! Eternally Yours: I have quite a few friends who listen to motionless in white so I should really explore them more. At first I thought it was a little too heavy for me but the way the song exploded into the melody was just *hearts in my eyes*!! LOL. And I'm definitely seeing the immortality themes. This is one of my unexpected faves!

Bloodsucker: This is just my taste!! I love some sinister modern rock. Easy save to my liked songs.

Blood (MCR): No surprise I know (and like) this one! It was going to be on my vampire songlist but I thought it might be too popular so I decided to add something a little less known in its place. Blood was actually one of the first MCR songs I heard. I'm not an MCR superfan but my faves are Teenagers, Mama & You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison (which were also some of the first I heard haha)!

A Grave Mistake: I'm really starting to think Ice Nine Kills might be one of my newly discovered faves! They're one of my fave genres and I LOVE all of the supernatural & horror movie themes in their songs. Someone else recommended Love Bites (spotify link) to me on my werewolfkin songlist and I've honestly been listening to it on loop.

Reaper: Honestly not really my sort of thing but not everything is going to be!

Caraphernalia: A lot of my friends have recommended Pierce the Veil to me! Again this one isn't quite my vibe but it reminds me a bit of Set It Off who I do love!

Choke: Another one I know! I discovered IDKHOW over lockdown and was addicted to them for like 2 years. Still love them! In fact this ask might have reignited that, I've been listening to them a bunch since typing this out. My IDKHOW faves are Absinthe, Modern Day Cain, Social Climb & New Invention. I used to loop Mx Sinister but I've sorta heard it too much now LMAO

Whisper: I've got this one liked but I didn't recognise the name! So thank you for letting me rediscover it LOL! I'm big on that folk sound mixed with rock so I should probably check out Burn the Ballroom more...

Blood (Bad Omens): A little too much scream for me but I'm kind of falling in love with the guitar & the orchestral elements in the background. I think this one is definitely going to grow on me with time.

Guessing your music taste from these, my recommendations would be (spotify links) Bloody Creature Poster Girl by In This Moment, Blood by In This Moment, I Don't Care by VIOLENT VIRA, and Evil Walks by AC/DC, though that's more classic rock.

For winter: dark blue jeans, black leather boots, and Yannis' flame sweater™ with my silver chain and earrings-crosses and flame ring, for spring: oringe™ coat with everything you call greedy like turtleneck xD and oringe-white converses, for normal summer it's Pidge shirt with my red ornamented kimono and wide trousers with the suspenders, for autumn... idk what that will be, but for the Greek one it's my white jeans overall that gives Davey from Glass Animals vibes and beige shirt and if it's like +25 I'd defo kick assess in my blue-brown pleated mousseline volan transparent dress, just need rather a sword or a earrings-swords and a tooth-necklace lol (for those who wonder how it looks like you might be disapponted but I feel like a medieval warrior in it). If the weather allows it (aka not too cold, not Greek 3 seasons), I'd be wearing my black jumpsuit which is very much about kicking asses and taking names and only I own me-ing.
