FIRST OF ALL!!!! ik like being british vs american (panem was north america) has some pronounciation differences but ive been saying their names so differently!!!! like ive been using soft As for the Anus brothers but its actually Anus so thats crazy.

next its very different to how i imagined, obviously they cut out so much (which is making me Need to read the og hunger games) but without coryos constant dialogue, i think more people are gonna fall into sympathising with him.

everything was also just so much more larger, like in my head the snake tank was as big as a fish tank not like all the snakes she was gonna drop into the games. the arena was sorta smaller than i imagined. the beam that i pictured lamina on was metal not concrete/stone. marcus :((( obvs the watches changed to screens. the origin of rat poison is different.

A movie you think is underrated - obliged to say An Elephant Sitting Still by hu bo bc i can never find it in dvd stores and i unfortunately honestly dont know if i will find a screening of it in a cinema available to me ever again but i dream of it

A movie you think is overrated - going to put two, one new and one classic. first one is parasite. im bitter abt this movie bc it was advertised like crazy and the reviews were so hyping and then i went and it was average. its not a bad movie but not only doesnt deserve the hype the hype ruined it for me bc if i went with the proper expectations i wouldnt have gotten so disappointed. a classic is alphaville of godard... obviously its a good movie and im sure it was groundbreaking at the time but by now the story doesnt feel as sophisticated bc this genre of story is at this point.. i wouldnt say overdone bc its still a great genre but its not fresh or suprising by now without making it more complex. this movie felt like a blueprint to the 1984 book soviet dystopia genre so it didnt keep up with the times. many classic movies are still exciting and fresh just like when they came out including other movies of godard but this isn't one of them. but i can also see how it was probably one of godard's top commercial movies, bc it was easier to digest and more basic than his other work

A performance you think is underrated - Vicenç Altaió (yeah had to google this one) in story of my death by albert serra. his acting was insane. probably one of the best acting perfomances ive ever seen, specifically the toilet scene stuck with me. so it's a period movie about casanova. there a scene in the movie that all of it is just him taking a shit. and of course it sounds goofy but it was actually a really human and sensitive depiction and his acting was so natural i completely forgot i was watching a movie. he really made this scene what it is. and tbh i think even from those other photos u can see what i mean on him

A movie ruined by the ending - the holy mountain of jodorowsky... at the time i watched it i was so disappointed by the ending it was so anticlimactic. i think he thought he did something but it just didnt work. (might be spoilers) same vibes when a story pulls "and then he found out it was all a dream". like.. in this case it just didnt feel fitting it was disappointing. but i watched it years ago so i wonder if i would feel the same now

the blind side was not just a basic white suburban movie. it was a terrible movie. the person whos story it was inspired by, michael oher, didnt like how he was depicted & felt that the white savior narrative dominating the narrative came at the expense of his own self: what n where he came from & his then gridiron football career. u also have to consider how it was contemporary to the help, and all that entails for what kind of black charas predom. white audiences r comfortable seeing. but i digress. who knows how much executive control he will have? i have no idea what the amc mayfair witches did to the talamasca. the interview/mainstream vc showrunners seem pretty locked in on their end so as long as their pockets + jobs guaronteed irdgaf.. this could kinda mess w/ adaptations of qotd/later vc books where the talamasca do play a role doe depending on whether or not the show is a salvageable product

hi i do have recommendations but my taste in most things isnt super refined just a heads up!!! a lot of these movies arent rlly rated well i just see the woter and im like "hm scary and good enough for me!!

also a lot of these arent really deep sea and/or horror. ill take what i can get tho fr fr as long as its vaguely on theme.

theres a movie called 47 meters down which. was good and i liked it!! its abt these two gals who find themselves in a sunken cage at the bottom of the ocean in shark infested waters and um. its very nerve wrecking and i rlly liked the ending tbh? and lots of tense moments. disclaimer tho ik movies that vilify sharks contribute to stinky things and also i understand that sharks r just creatures tryna eat and not starve and i adore them. predators under water just hit different and movies abt them are Sometimes fun. tbh usually i avoid movies where the whole premise is Scary Shark but this one involved them being trapped in a Cage so it intrigued me

theres also a movie called the cave that i rlly enjoyed parts of but i was so let down by other parts!! these lads find an under water cave and go to explore it. idk how much i should spoil but the one aspect of it that i didnt like is that the set up seemed very practical and realistic and then it strayed so far from what is possible/plausible here on this earth and i think they could have avoided doing that by being a little less scifi with their creatures, and it would have made it so much better. but overall i liked it!! the cave is completely uncharted & Not an environment humans have any business surviving in so. yeah i want more movies just like that.

i Sorta have the similar beef with the movie sea fever? but it seems less out of place somehow. but also its more like.,,, boat horror?? less conflict takes place in the Water so it didnt rlly capture my interest the same tbh. but it was still worth watching imo!!

Weddings and funerals both have a special way of polarising people. You either know them or you dont. You were closer friends versus not so close. I always thought it was weird the feeling people get by being closer to an event, theres a justification that always happens where youre allowed to be extra happy or upset the closer you are. It sounds weird, but i always found the energies at celebrations and tragedies a curiosity. But for the empaths who feel it all but dont talk alot, who only need a video, a picture, a voice, to feel "unjustifiably" affected by a loss in our nation. Where you feel it all but noone says "im so sorry for your loss" cuz why should they. Where you find yourself wishing you knew them cuz then it wouldnt be so weird when you cry, people would just understand. Im gonna tell you: you are normal. Whether you knew the person, and whether you didnt know the person, wherever you are on that spectrum, i am so sorry for your loss.

Other girls might have been friends with a bunch of guys. Been really gross with guys. Bikinis on the beach, every night partying, friends and cars. India and sinai. Other girls might miss stuff like that. But do u know what i miss? I miss how i met ur mother marathons. I miss ordering pizza and eating way too much. I miss talking through greys anatomy about great scenes or whats medically correct. I miss going out to buy candy in onesies. I miss the one time drinking and watching the stupidest movie known to man. I slept so good that night. I miss the first time i ever smoked weed. I was in a bad mood, and the weed made me forget, and i stayed in a chill mood that whole night. I miss dancing on the kibbutz, we all secretly glt drunk at 10am and spent the day dancing. I miss the birthday party my pants caught on fire. We were under a bridge and it started raining and we were all soaked and just started dancing our butts off in the pouring rain at 3am. I miss the first day i felt pretty. The day i could look at myself and didnt want to hide in ramat gan. I miss the fireworks when the arab guy kissed me. The first guy i liked kissing me. Wjen he asked for my number. I miss my 21st birthday birthday where i felt so much gdly presence i was floating and gave out flowers at the hospital. I miss my first time in israel meeting the israeli soldiers. My life may not have the same amount of pictures as everyone. I dont care what i wore that day. But i had a spectacular life. Mostly i miss the calm of sitting abd eating pizza and watching tv with friends. Thats what i love the most. Ive had loud obnoxious in your face kind of adventure. Not the same adventure as everyone else. And maybe theure jealous of me- i had a crazy adventurous life. I lived in California knowing noone. I never really had an apartment- its too adulty for me. Its ok that their life seems so great. It isnt. I dint want it. I want my life. My life, with its regrets, is incredible. Its a story of a girl who knew it would get better. And then it did. It was spectacular.

A millionaire businessman needs to go to europe for two weeks. He goes to the bank and says id like to take out a loan for 500 dollars, im going to europe for two weeks. They need collateral so he says heres the key to my new jaguar. Ok, he goes to europe. Comes back two weeks later, back to the bank. He says whats the interest i owe they say 13.50. He gives them the 500 dollars back. He pays them the 13.50. He gets his keys back. The bank says mr businessman, if you're rich enough to have a jaguar, why did you need to take out a loan for 500 dollars? I bought a perfume from giorgio armani a year and a half ago, my first time in italy. I wore it everyday and enjoyed smelling fresh- shampoo meets counter cleaner. I loved it so much that this past summer i finished the 80 dollar bottle. For me, perfume and mascara are an everyday thing that helps me feel alive and ready to go out. Before going out, i spray it on, and my favorite compliment is man, u smell good. I havent worn perfume for months. Definitely since the war started, its turned life upside down and i really havent thought about perfume. It seemed so vain. But for my birthday, i got a new bottle of the same lemon counter cleaner perfume, and i sprayed it today,and it just makes me so happy. Happy thati have t been in a while. Its like the perfume makes me feel ok. Like im ok. I can start the day. It just made me fall inlove with myself, and remember when life was just going about the day, hanging out with friends, late night car rides, dinners, sweaters, going to school, thrift shopping, beach days. When i felt ok. This is so important. It was a birthday that i wish i could tell myself the last like 4 birthdays- u will hve a birthday that makes up for all of it. Not because its some blow out birthday,but it actually was my favorite birthday since i was 20 and gave out fowers at the hospital. This birthday was just good. I took it gracefully. I wanted cupcakes and perfume. Guy texted me and that made me feel the best. Some friends wrote on my facebook page, some friends texted me. I just was quietly happy. Guy saying when can we meet up really made my day. I just felt loved by people likd i deserve the best. A guy will comd who deserves me. Who loves everything about me. Who will accept my faults and i can be honest with. Someone who sees me for who i am. Maybe i am someone who affects people around me. Im someone people remember.

RIGHT so we had this family wedding, it was a destination wedding so we were staying at a hotel and i misread our room number as 86 instead of 98, the former being the room allotted to another family. now the marriage hall was booked by two families for the week, one ours, the ground floor, and the other by the family of room 86, they had the rooftop to themselves ( i wanted to rooftop like imagine the wedding pics esp when ure at a hill station )

SO ME AND THIS GUY we met like this ☝️ room mistakes etc etc it was embarrassing but wtv HE WAS SO CUTE? AND NICE? FUNNY? LITERALLY EVERYTHING A MAN COULD BE, THE GREENEST FLAG EVER I THINK . we used to hang out together, like going to shopping, cafe HE TOOK ME ON A DATE TO ANIMAL CAFE i miss the bunnies there 💔💔💔💔i also met his cousins, they're all so funny im jealous bc my cousins r either kids or have kids, there's no in between . THE HOTEL HAD A POOL OK so we also had a silly little date by the pool after dinner while my parents were busy talking w the bride's family ( they know im hanging out with him they just dont know it's a date ) watched a movie in my room on the noon i fell a little sick ( im not made for travelling bc any change in tds of water gets me sick ) HE WAS JUST SO SWEET ALL THE TIME 😔💔😔💔😔💔 i miss him sm

pride and prejudice is my comfort movie tbh. that and coraline. i want to get a quote tattooed on me, i think i want "most ardently" or "goddess divine". i also have the quote from when he asks her to marry him for the first time memorized. there's just something about the way he struggles to say it, and the way you can see him push himself to finish the sentence "i love..i love...i love you" LIKE COME ON ITS SO GOOD WTF. i want my great love, the love where you struggle to admit it to yourself but once you do it immersed you fully and you always feel it's warmth engulfing you. i also just love how love is expressed in jane austen's work. i love how her characters love. for my friends birthdays i write a jane austen esque love letter to them with a whole storyline, it's silly but it's sweet and i love doing it. i like how whimsical it feels.
