important to understand that my approach to oc design and characterization depends explicitly on how i'm playing that specific game, like. a thing you should know about ilya is that he is the kind of person who will dive into the middle of a large pull ahead of the tank and pop all of his mitigation while screaming because i get distracted and do that. constantly.

napoleon movie was not good tbh

#script was not good didn't make a good use of history & didn't really justify being 2hr40min long imo #it had some nice cinematography in parts but.#idk maybe I'm just being mean but even as a long historical movie enjoyer i wasn't a fan #thoughts #i felt like sometimes also it was trying to do that sort of modern humor slant to history thing which Can work (eg the favourite) but didn'#also it was weird abt the french revolution in a way I didn't rlly enjoy but I'd have to chew that one over before making any serious crit #& my knowledge of napoleon is v patchy so I can't really say anything there except it didn't really feel like it developed him much at all #which. idk how. it feels like it should have done #overall an extremely meh altho sometimes pretty film tbh. idk #<- i did smile seeing the rain at waterloo though thank you victor hugo she is like a celebrity to me #sorry adding more as I wait for the bus but. how do cut the entire peninsular war & invasion of italy etc etc & still have it drag #also again i felt like the dialogue was quite bad but maybe I'm being too mean #esp bc the other people in the theater did seem to enjoy it ajskdjkgky. so who knows #wait i Will say that I did quite like the mysuc though. that was good.#*music #also we got a ship interior w middies at the end #the french revolution bit really did leave a bad taste in my mouth though

So Just. Peppino Depression sleep momence.

Gustavo off somewhere for a few days. Where? Idk I can't think of where. But Peppino wakes up for whats probably the third time in that day, in his bed. He knows its been hours since the last time because the light in his room is different. He tells himself to wake up, he has things he needs to do-!

But his whole body just feels heavy, and the pull to just close his eyes and fall back asleep starts to weigh on him again. Right as his eyes shut he feels something hop up on his bed.

His eyes snap open and he looks over to see one of the lil- toppings guys. The small mushroom one to be exact. It's staring at him, n after a few seconds it starts to make a lil squeaking sound and jumping on his bed.

He grumbles, turns his head away to just ignore it, and go back to sleep- but he feels something else jump on his bed- so he turns back to see the lil cheese one is there now too. And like the Mushroom, it starts to squeak and bounce on the bed too.

He sighs and turns away again. This happens a few more times until all of the lil toppings guys r on his bed, squeaking and bouncing on him- seemingly trying to get him to wake up. It works because he sits up in bed finally. Immediately hit by a wave of dizziness, which he guesses is because he hasn't Eaten all day. That's what he gets for sleeping most of it.

It takes him a few seconds to actually get out of bed, His body still feels heavy, and he feels tired down to his bones. He ignores it though and walks out of his room. The sound of the pizza toppings pattering behind him, following after him to the kitchen.

He doesn't feel like cooking. Cereal it is for breakfast, Or lunch maybe? He watches the pizza toppings struggle and clamber up a nearby chair across the table from him. They manage to get up on the table finally- he isn't sure if they need to eat? But he picks out a few pieces of the cereal he's eating and gives each one.

Pretty surprised while he watches them eat it- Didn't know they had mouths..didn't know they could make noises either. The day continues on like that. He goes about doing whatever chores he has to keep himself busy, and the lil pizza toppings follow him around while he works. Even try to help him if they can, which he has to admit is kind of sweet.

He actually manages to feel better as the day winds on, that heavy feeling pulling away while he busies himself and they keep him company. By the time its the end of the day he's in his bed getting ready to sleep, when they all clamber back up on his bed and situate themselves near him- Part of him wants to shoo them off but he can't bring himself to as they've already fallen asleep.

So he settles into bed and falls asleep, and is woken up the same way the next day d:)

just realised how i usually dislike or feel indifferent about shounen mcs but senku and gon hxh are the only ones who actually manage to enter my top fave characters of their respective fandoms... they're so well written

shining solo ep 8. my reaction rn 😐😐 took it a bit hard lmao

#tp #very mixed feelings. as someone who associates herself with jeongwoo and having very similar personalities... this ep hurt a lot #idk idk #i mean i get it but i also absolutely do not get it #so many thoughts im taking this very personally what the heck #i cant really warm up to half of this part's girlies im sorry #i loved everyone on part one #as someone who also struggles with managing my social energy lvls... this was a slap in the face #bc my boy jeongwoo truly gave it his ALL the whole day and even managed to perform a couple songs for the girls #despite already having spent the whole day together #and his energy must have been SPENT already and then they pick him as MVP of the day and he has that 1:5 date with all of the girls #by himself!! which is so terrifying imagine being the one person who everyone's attention is on and you have to interact with these ppl #that you arent very comfortable with but you still try your best to give them a good time #AND THEN!! they give you NOTHING in return?? not even a recorder?? no jewel no recording nothing. just ignored like that by everyone #and i get that the girls dont know who's voting for who so they might have believed someone else was gonna give him a jewel or sth #but no one gives him anything (positive OR negative)#and yeah. he was absolutely shocked at the empty safe. i would have been too.#and why did they not give him a jewel y'all might ask??? i just finished saw v and i don't have high hopes for the rest of the franchise (based on what ive heard) but im in too deep to stop now

#no i haven't enjoyed the last two no i don't expect to get much out of the next five or so movies. but i need to know.#i guess saw v mightve suffered bc i watched it basically immediately after iv #something i didnt do with any of the others #but i was told v was one of the good ones so i was looking forward to it. i dont think it was burnout yknow #but uh. i didn't like it. i think i liked iv more honestly. strahm and hoffman do absolutely nothing for me #i liked the traps. that was it though #it felt so pointless and empty. it was the first one where i genuinely wondered why they made it. why did they decide to keep going with #this. i think ii and iv both function more/better as setup for their following films but like. at least iii was pretty good yknow #like both amanda and hoffman's accomplicing feels kinda retconned in but at least amanda's an interesting character #what does hoffman have. what does strahm have. nothing. and no i don't think they have much in the way of homoeroticism either.#i don't tend to be so negative and im sorry if someone goes in the saw tags and feels bad about me talking shit about something they like #because i know that doesn't feel good. honestly i'd love to hear why people like v. maybe it'll change my opinion of it if i look at it a #different way yknow? but for now im just annoyed by it. iv was engaging in the moment but very forgettable #i liked riggs well enough but we barely learned a thing about him. he wasn't a deep character at all and i think that's a shame #but v was just a paperwork-based cat and mouse chase. 90 minutes and it still felt like they were wasting my time #why did strahm go to the old trap locations? i don't think he found anything out there. likr it was just a framing device for the flashback #but he didn't actually have a reason to go there. waste of my time #not an original critique im sure but saw ii on seems to be more focused on scale and layers of shit (i.e. having two games going at once)#than using the traps to examine the characters. i mean you go from two guys in a bathroom for a couple hours #learning about who they are gradually at a slow pace vs like 8 people in a house plus cop stuff plus 90 second traps of dubious fairness #hoffman has no real relationship with kramer (unlike amanda) and basically everyone who'd been following jigsaw is dead and so are jigsaw #and (presumably) amanda. what am i supposed to be here for? the vague outline of a saw trap? the type of torture happening?#im not even opposed to that per se but frankly the more they focus on the cops surrounding this shit the less fun it is #why are you making all the traps like 15 seconds long and tied to characters who aren't the primary focus. it's saw #ughh i miss adam. i miss amanda. hell i miss kramer and he was pretty present in this one (flashbackwise)#whateverrr. anyway that poll comparing chainshippng shotgunnshippng and coffinshippng where shotgun was last? lesbophobic.#im only half joking about that. im sure ppl have their reasons for coffin but i also think it's the tendency fandom bias for “two white guy #ships. but hey maybe vi and onwards will add more context to that that'll make me reconsider. i mean i wouldn't have liked the amanda #accomplice thing That much if i'd only seen ii. i think iii really makes it mesh better and it leads to fun character stuff #(though i still think i would've liked it more bc like. amanda was always grateful to jigsaw right? again hoffman comes outta nowhere)
