i was gonna answer this and say nuh uh. but that’d be lying. i rummaged through some old art andd found these guys

the first one is some little ink variant i made. hes a lava lamp. he has no purpose i just like his colors a lot andi lovd the concept of his torso being a little lava lamp that moves around

the second one is an error named cry (or something) . originally his design belonged to my partner, but they gave me his design and concept and now hes judg a silly guy i have sitting in my folder :3 (he was based off melanie martinez crybaby stuff or something idk i dont really listen to her)

the third guys are swad and swan but theyre moths!! @fishfrypi came up with their concept and i made these designs a few months back. there not entirely MY ocs, i just put their designs together. i consider them shared between me and that friend of mine :))

the last isnt very original… Its just a doll error … i had some sort of lore with him where geno slowly made himself into a crazy doll (trying to rid himself of the pain of determination) but he just became error over time. i think the only thing that was still actual monster on him were his hands; they’re the most sensitive part on his body (haphephobic loser).

anyway those are some ocs ive contributed to/made myself. i dont really expand on them because i enjoy writing error and glorifying crayonqueen’s ocs more than anything GEHFJSJA

jaka is based from a local folktale, but now with a new twist. he put himself in quite a pickle, tricking one of 7 deity sisters to be his wife and now they are after him so they can get their missing sister back. during this interpretation jaka will have to choose how he can survive this ordeal. will he choose to surrender…or will the desperation to survive makes him choose the path of no return…? this character were designed to have two possible endings for his character development so feel free to explore both possibilities

evangeline, a young cat mage, bored of her life and seeking for truth and knowledge sends her to the most fascinating journey around their world and finding out shocking truths about their forgotten world history along the way…in the end she wonders…is this life changing trip worth it? either way there's the moment where her eyes opened and she would never see the world she knew in the same way ever again (bonus gijinka ver!)

lea, sonic oc, based on news about intersex lions (that's why she got such a thick, bushy mane/hair)

age : 19 zodiac is leo (might as well, it fits anyway) is a gladiator, use claws and leaping attacks a lot, more tendency to counter than block or dodge if she's in a sonic heroes-esque team, her role is "power" probably she'll slowly gets more and more curious about her hair growth and hair care definitely went through trials and challenges to get her power glove/boots set

more sonic oc, melody, an emo bunny diva (22) very confident and knows how to command the stage, but can also be a drama queen. if she were to fight her style will be dance battler

and mercury (18) a nicobar pidgeon who works in delivery. her built is speed/flying. her biggest pride is when she can finish her delivery on time, be it shipment or messages (yes her name is from that roman god mercury)

Dianella (she/her, bisexual, the dead girl in a dead guy's body, died at 23), novice cleric, died in battle, kidnapped and "saved" by a mad scientist necromancer and now she woke up in a body of a dead, dark elf rogue. Eventually she found herself in the middle of ragtag band of misfits living in the necromancer's mansion Alignment, prob lawful good at start, but in naive way due to her upbringing, going to slowly slide to more chaotic/neutral spectrum, but still have the idealistic core at heart. Even tho she mourns the life she once had, eventually she starts to explore the new one that this unlikely second chance gave her, and sees the world from a new point of view.

during the story she spends most of the time on the second body (the dead guy's). whereabouts of her original body is unknown, much to her chargrin.....

the werewolf girl (name tba, demisexual/demiromantic and traumatized as fuck, age 20) born from demon mother and werewolf father. lost her father on werewolf raid, lost her mother on demon raid on different time. and since then her life is constant whiplash of people pitying her state and yet threaten to kill and make her suffer at the same time (they dont know that her werewolf form and her are the same person) or worse attract unwanted attention from exploitative or overly curious individuals….eventually she finally found someone,a son of an orc chieftain who is the first person who didnt want to kill her but saw her as a rival and they get closer from that day as they learn to get to know each other better. she was known on her wanted poster as "the infernal werewolf" and each incidents she keeps raking her own bounties....

bonus for the character who isnt in the form list :

big liger who lived off the grid, a mercenary. he has his own small strawberry farm and his favorite is making strawberry jam. the fun uncle/dad type, and his fighting style is mix of street brawl and wrestling

Alton OC lore/facts thing :3

at alton towers (fictional one in my head), there are human versions of the rollercoasters that are AI android things. they are all sentient.

from the thrills to the family attractions, there are androids for the rides. (i have yet to design them, trust)

their bodies were built during their construction

every android is sentient AI, some know that they're ai and accept it, some dont know. they get in relationships with eachother, they have friendships, siblings, and enemies, rivalries, ect.

they also get phones... but have restrictions on what they're allowed to say sometimes

more is under the cut incase anyone wants to read. tw for mentions of death

the androids CANNOT leave the park.

why? because they'll either die, or get shut down until retrieved... and there have been many cases of the androids trying to be free.

the known cases of escaped androids are: (these are the coasters i know abt)

oblivion - the old body was never found, just rebuilt into the oblivion we know now. (this is reference to the the queue line video where a ride-car thing went missing) this was before smiler was built.

enterprise - ran away because she heard she was gonna be taken down... but she didnt know that she'd die anyway if she tried to escape. this happened to the old rides at the x-sector too.

nemesis - ran away, was found, and rebuilt into nemesis reborn. her old memories of nemesis is hidden somewhere.

air - the second he left the alton grounds, he died. body was found when galactica was being made.

anyway time for me to yap about my main characters Oblivion and Smiler and how being trapped at Alton effects their mental ai health... and facts about them. time for absolute nonesence because i wanna talk about them

tw for alcoholism

Smiler handles being trapped at Alton since birth kind of well. he has everything he needs. he has the Ministry, his secret lab that not even Alton knows about (because they'll take it away), only Oblivion and the Ministry know about it. in the lab he does actual marmalisation, medical malpractice, ect... yeah he's evil sorry guys. so since he has everything he needs, he's pretty content... at first.

he started getting tired of being treated as an attraction (which he is) and wants some fucking respect (he gets respect from the Ministry, thankfully.), so he started being a bit rude after a year of living. as the years went on, he acts like how he does now.

Smiler snaps often when ordered around by anyone because he has a big ass ego and thinks he deserves respect and thinks hes better than everyone becasue he's THE Smiler.

his AI mind has been around before the rollercoaster was built, so he's alot older because it was kept somewhere by the Ministry for years. (im working on it)

he barely gets a break, he has to work everyday and literally gets paid nothing because he lives at Alton (in the x-sector).

now onto how Oblivion handles shit.

Oblivion... he's been around for 26 years. everything gets boring for him, guests feel the same, everything feels the same. he wants to be outside of Alton because he has places he wants to go. he wants to be able to go to pubs, concerts, raves, ect.

after being at Alton for like years, he picks up drinking because he wants to feel something... the same thing everyday really dulled his emotions. ever since the others at the x-sector died, his drinking has gotten WORSE. and smiler does NOT help with his constant bitching. (smiler did actually kind of help but still, oblivion is too addicted)

oblivion, after the park closes for the day, often sits ontop of his rollercoaster, sitting on the edge of the drop just to see over the treeline, wanting to see the world outside of Alton. he just sits in silence, drinking and smoking until he gets tired/bored and goes to bed.

after him and smiler started dating, oblivion eventually decided to bring smiler up ontop of his ride for their date. its to show he sees smiler as someone important to him.

their usual dates would be walks around the park, feeding the ducks and wildlife there, going in the rollercoaster restaurant, going on other rollercoasters (they arent allowed to do it, but they do it anyway. they get the androids of the rollercoasters to operate the rides for them safely.)

they're only allowed to do this when the park closes for the day, of course.

anyway, oblivion is an alcoholic and a heavy smoker, there you have it. smiler doesnt drink alcohol, he dislikes it. tried it once and never again... though he does smoke sometimes, only with oblivion on their dates <3

Hello!! Welcome to Enidan's blog, aka my regretevator oc's blog :D!

Before you do any asks, comments, etc, please read this post first!

Eeekdbdkd- first of all, the creator of this blog is @button-cat ! Hello :D

And second- please know that im a minor!! (Between the age of 13-17!) I do not mind some suggestive asks (NOT TO ME- to my oc-) however i am not comfortable with nsfw asks!! So please do not make Nsfw asks or i will ignore your ask!! D:

I'll be trying to respond asks with drawings however i won't respond to all with drawings !! :b drawing can be complicated and tiring when doing it too much and i do not want to overwork myself !! ^^

Also,,,,Enidan is,,,not the most kindest one- (she literally eATS PEOPLE) so- if she responds uh- rudely to your ask, DONT TAKE IT PERSONALLY- its all roleplay and funsies ;D

Now more about my oc Enidan- im not gonna say much about their lore (i want people to figure it out by doing asks and interacting with it's lore :3) however the most i could say is that,,,they eat people- it killed like,,,a ton of people. And- going to more regretevator related, she will appear on a floor (that i invented) called "Hide and seek"- ...you play hide and seek with her :D they're always the seeker,,,and you gotta survive for like,,,2 minutes- if someone manages to survive, she will enter the elevator- if no one survives, she doesn't ! (also- if u get caught by it, she uh,,,eats you. yeah :3)

Also- this IS something important that i have to mention about them- in her lore, she's Folly's assistant. Im mentioning this in case if any rp blogs (ESPECIALLY FOLLY RP BLOGS-) wanting to interact- i can't really change that part out of their lore because,,,its a important part of it- just by removing folly out of their lore and trying to change it- in most cases,,,she's dead :3 or if i do somehow manage to have her alive- everything about it changes (Design, lore, personality- EVERYTHING,,,AND BIG CHANGES AS WELL-) and- i may just be creating a whole new character by doing that- this is basically a hint to her lore already so yeah,,,:3

Btw- I really love roleplaying !! So don't be shy if u want to roleplay characters whether it be characters from regretevator, another game/show/etc, or your own :D

Also- warning!!! There will be probably mentions of gore,,,and gore rps even!! There may be some slightly disturbing drawings as well- (aka- bones,,,maybe a decapitated head- not in a super disturbing way just,,,decapitated-) i'll probably not do too many disturbing drawings and i'll definitely avoid drawing gory drawings but its a heads up!! I do not want to make people uncomfy or scared or anything-

so today i was in the mw oc server talking abt some stuff i noticed about jawbone (+ some other theory stuff as well!!)

so first of all. two kind of obvious details:

he is green (“yeah no shit sherlock” i hear u thinking. trust me there is a reason why im pointing it out)

his pupils are triangular. nobody else in the show so far has had triangular pupils. (well. i mean commander tezzoree’s eye has a triangular pupil but she hasnt made an appearance in any episodes yet and i doubt the two characters are connected)

just making this point known for now. we will hold this thought for later in the post.

another thing: so in the ref sheet of him posted to the mw tumblr back in september i believe(?), his name is written as “jawbone (a.k.a. scythelord)”

you know where a character by the name of “scythelord” has shown up already?

on a wanted poster, thats where!! he has a bounty on his head!!!

which means that tyneen and her crew are probably after him, which probably explains why they’re at the thicc chicc casino. (how do i know jawbone is there? because ricket is there, which i know because he is shown interacting with both shrike and tyneen, who we know are both there)

now. remember that thought from earlier that i told you to hold until later? now is the time to bring it back.

ok so. we already know that colors and shapes each have their own respective significance in this show, and colors and shapes are chosen deliberately.

with that said:

ADDITIONALLY:

this further cements my belief that ep 4 will have a LOT in it regarding the cataclysm or some other related thing. why?

despite the poor image quality in the second pic, you can still tell that both of these characters have some sort of magenta (or pink i guess?) type of theming going on in their designs.

also if we look at campions, like, the flower

you can see where im trying to go with this idea.

i did a whole bunch of examining colors today in light of this, actually!!! quick fun fact for those unaware: RGB and CMYK invert into each other.

and then after i made that image i started sorting things into what colors they are. (white and black have been omitted from the screenshots simply because there doesnt seem to be any significant things tied to them)

obviously this list is probably incomplete and i will continue to add to it, of course.

(my main inspo for even thinking about CMYK for theories in the first place was @toastedclownery btw!! GO CHECK OUT THEIR BLOG IF U HAVENT ALREADY THERES SO MANY COOL THEORY POSTS THERE!!)

one final not-as-relevant theory that’s really more of a prediction: i really think joel vargskelethor is gonna be in this upcoming episode, whether it’s in whole or in part. i mean, he already voiced the duende in ep 3, so it’s not like its impossible or anything. also “scythelord” happens to be the name of joel’s band as well (which you should DEFINITELY check out if ur into metal!!!!! absolutely amazing stuff) OH OH AAAAAAND

id like to direct your attention to the title of this update, which is “the bone zone,” which i believe to be a skeleton metal reference.

also jawbone/scythelord has the little sweden viking helmet thing on the wanted poster. AND HES GREEN! LIKE FREN!!

for those who dont know, this is fren (also known as vargfren i think)

so yeah. these evidence pieces combined with the fact that zeurel has made dozens of “vargskelethor animated” videos (which is how i got into zeurel’s animations in the first place actually!!) are what led me to make this prediction.

anyway, i hope you guys liked this theory post. it’s not an update on the web, but i figured id try doing something new. though, if youd like to see the web, here’s a view of the full thing currently:

OKAY, FINALLY, THE MOMENT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!! Welcome, my Grills, Dills, and Nonbinary Eels, to my pride art event!

This is how its all gonna go down! Im going to be doing a pride drawing, of my Oc Ameryllis. Due to some of you wanting to help out in some way, I'll be accepting your OWN drawings of him.

This will go up untill the 18th, which gives you all about a week to submit them.

All references I have of Ameryllis will be posted below, along with text descriptions because my handwriting is shit lmao. You do NOT have to participate if you dont want to.

Also, drawing your own ocs with him is welcome! I dont care what your drawings are, as long as they involve my fruity child. Feel free to ask any questions if needed!!! Also, buckle up, this is a long post. Alrighty *cracks fingers one at a time* Here we go!

A small description of Ameryllis to help get into his character: He was orginally my dolortale metta. Hes long since became his own character(though i may still use him as his orginal role), and i have unfortunately lost his metta design.

Anywho, Ameryllis represents the stage of acceptance in the stages of grief, hence the flowers hes named after. He has a GREAT love for theater, and uses this to help the undergound cope. He might seem stuck up and arrogant at glance, but this isnt the case. Though its incredibly hard to crack open his shell and see the real him. At first, hes a little cold, and hardly ever smiles, this making him hard to read as his emotions are very subtle, though his smug and dramatic demeanor shines through anyhow. Once you get to know him better, you'll find him showing that ever so slight smile more often, and youll see that hes really a total sweetheart, even if he has trouble showing it.( TSUNDERE). Even so hes very much a bitch, one that takes pride in how he dresses, and knows how to appreciate himself. ENOUGH OF THAT, BACK TO THE REFFS!!!!

✨: How did you come up with the OC’s name? - i think this will disappoint you but its just from a half-elf fantasy name generator. both his first and last name (fruhand arroway) are from it. i was very bad at making names at the time. however now i consider myself good at coming up with random ass fucking names like grunkuff

🌂: What genre do they belong in? - gonna use bitsy (all pronouns. i mean literally every pronoun can be used for them) for this one (my skyrim oc that made her way into rottmnt. as all of my ocs eventually do)

🧠: What do you like most about the OC? - i'm gonna be mysterious and talk abt fru's second universe and ocs in it that i dont think ive posted/talked about here much or at all. lucy, sif, chris, basil, badger, ruin, and ofc fru! i dont have any recent drawings of them (besides fru) so here's some older designs

prepare for info i love talking abt these guys. not gonna go super lore crazy but instead will talk abt how much i love these fuckers

PICTURED ABOVE: lucy (albino turkey vulture), basil (snake), badger (cat lynx creature on four legs), ruin (fru look-alike), sif (cat), chris (cougar elf in the fifth image) and ofc fru (lion elf in the last 3 images)

lucy, she/her: lucy was a dnd character of mine! she was an albino turkey vulture aarakocra cleric with a service dog named bear (who's still around I just dont have him on this post). she's dating sif! lucy was a huge source of joy for me when i was younger. i was obsessed with her. shes my sweet girl and i love her to death. her relationship with her dog bear is one of my favorite things ive done with characters i think theyre so sweet

sif, she/he/they: my silly girl. my absolute goober. sif was a dnd character that never got used unfortunately. they were a tabaxi monk. she's dating lucy!! i dont have much to say abt him bc i never really went crazy with her lore but i love her sm. she was so fun to draw. i need to get her into rottmnt

chris, she/they: chris ended up being almost a sister to fru. she's so fun. she was also originally a dnd character, but she was a human. i think she was a rogue?? im not sure. they have a vial of blood on a necklace around their neck. dont ask where it came from. she meant a lot to me when i first made her and i vented a lot in my art of her. i was goin through some hard times back then man LMAOO. this was back in 2020

basil, she/it/they: ok this ones kinda crazy. basil isnt technically a snake, she just takes the form of one. it's a shadow god, one that was cast out and sent to live among the mortals. she follows fru around. they were in a relationship with badger (who is also a shadow god taking the form of a lynx creature) but they split up after being cast out. basil holds the star artifact (ignore the drawing of her with the sun thats wrong. fru has the sun). basil was such a blast to draw when i first made her and to this day sometimes i find myself doodling them

badger, he/it/they: badger is one of the "villains" of the story. they, as mentioned before, are a shadow god that was cast out and sent into the mortal realm. after his falling out with basil, it found ruin and decided to stick with him. badger holds the void artifact!! he's also SO fun to draw. their expressions are super fun. i was obsessed with the song all eyes on me by OR3O so like thats kind of his song now LMAOO

ruin, he/him: ruin is the other "villain" in the story. he (hear me out on this ok) is half of the REAL fruhand, which was split apart for whatever reason. he's fruhand's negative half. he doesn't know that he and fru are equal and believes himself to be inferior. he absolutely hates fru in the beginning, but they make up after ruin realizes the truth. he holds the moon artifact! i made so many different versions of this goober and his silly design. he really helped me learn to draw more freely and creatively

fru, he/him: fru is the main character bc i love him to death. he's the other half of the real fruhand and is his positive half. he doesn't know about the split until later. eventually he and ruin become brothers. do they go back together? idk. i never really did anything abt it. he holds the sun artifact. i fucking love fru. he was a self insert in dnd initially (but also inspired by br'aad from just roll with it) but now he's developed into my silly lion man who's in love with leo. god i love him. he means the world to me

a note about the artifacts: they're the key to the heavens i think it was. or like, the "higher up areas." when combined they open a gateway. they can also be used to merge fru and ruin back together! badger and ruin want to get all the artifacts so badger can take revenge on the gods, and so ruin can be the "real" fruhand. obviously this doesnt happen

ykw let's be a bit silly, I'm gonna ramble about 2 new ocs that I just came up with :3

so uu see these ocs are VERY recent so i dont have too much info about them yet (thank the stars, i dont wanna stay up all night rambling LOL)

their designs + names are based on 2 vtubers from hololive regloss! it just felt right in my head ehe...

the first character is based on ririka ichijou, and i kinda find it funny bc the vibes of the vtuber and the vibes of my oc are quite different...? anyway, ririka lives a quiet and boring life although she is quite happy with it. she hopes nothing ever changes except for one thing. she wants to fall in love and date someone so she will feel less alone.

ririka herself is also rather quiet and peaceful but she can easily become louder when she's angry. on the outside she looks small (well she is small) but she has lots of hidden strength. she enjoys martial arts and she has a love fur fitness. sometimes when she's climbing up the stairs to her cozy little apartment and her body hurts while she walks, she wonders if her struggles would be easier if she was dating someone. she secretly fawns over romantic media.

ririka would have a different outfit compared to the vtuber ririka, with a warmer color palette focused on autumn-ish colors. somehow i keep imagining this story with autumn themes....

and here's the second oc based on ao hiodoshi (btw they use any pronouns). ao is a celebrity influencer person. they're very good at dressing up and playing different characters. their main profession is being an online entertainer or blogger and they make all kinds of videos and they also stream. i plan for ririka to be a casual fan of ao before they meet. oh yeah and ao would live in the same city as ririka for a short time so they could spend time together irl... ehe

ao likes to play it cool and he's used to hiding his true self from others. his true self is soft and sensitive. his favorite sport is swimming. his interest in swimming stems from trauma in his early childhood, when his mother died from drowning

ao is genderfluid and by default she presents as androgynous

i want ririka and ao to be opposites in some was. like how in fight vs flight ririka is "fight" and ao is "flight." in some way that subverts their appearances bcz ririka appears as the soft and weak girl and ao appears as the cool masculine protector partner.

im not sure yet what their story will be. i want it to be focused on wholesome romance (which is VERY FAR from the stories ive done before, lol) but i got the idea fur their overall story when i was listening to taylor swift. ^_^

the first one is named the dragon tamer, and theyre based on a REALLY old slugcat oc i made back in 2019!

the other 2 are new, the little green one is named the runt and the pink and black one in the second image is the friend (i miiiight change their design tho)

the dragon tamer is fond of lizards, but is very easily distressed by certain things, including the presence of other slugcats because of backstory reasons (which. I will not be sharing bc i havent finished drawing it also its gonna need CWs)

All of the mechanics for these are just concepts idk if this shit would actually work well in the gameplay LMAO

the dragon tamer is able to have different lizards tamed at once without them fighting, lizard bites of all kinds cannot kill them and they can wiggle out of them while stunned. tamed reds will not get snappy with them. they have a panic meter and certain situations will raise the panic meter (being alone, being around rot, seeing other slugcats and other stuff) and the dragon tamer may have to sit still once theyre away from the stressor to calm down. when fully panicked the dragon tamers battle skills are affected or they may freeze or they may be unable to focus on anything but the stressor.

different lizards have certain perks around the dragon tamer when tamed. blue lizards and strawberry lizards can mostly neutralize panic and may help find food for the tamer, red lizards, eels and salamanders can offer rides around water like jetfish, cyans, reds, greens and white lizards will let them ride on their backs anywhere etc etc.

the runt is small, weak, and alone; easy prey to any predator nearby. as such they must fight ruthlessly to survive.

the runt can carry multiple spears and can craft bombs/explosive spears if they can find explosive ash. their attack power is the same as the monk. they have more options for combat (they have artificers mauling ability, possibly melee abilities like the lancer) they can also easily traverse pipes and tunnels faster than the average slugcat with their tiny body. scavs are afraid of the runt. they cannot pounce.

the friend is a slightly older slugpup. curious and empathetic to other creatures, their path will be paved in symbiotic companionship.

i dont have much for the friend but heres what i have: befriended scavs and lizards will not fight eachother. scavs are less nervous about the friend. lizards will have a sort of universal rep and become a little more neutral towards the friend as they tame other lizards (its more like they be more likely to chase other prey rather than the friend and be less aggressive when spotted or heard) orange lizards will have the most easily affected rep and green lizards hate eachother so this barely applies to them.

~ 2020 - 2021 ~ Thieves are coming to town!!!

March 2020 Perrin was a hallmark in his design history i think because for starters, I finally cracked the code on his design and how I want to draw him!

If you had paid attention to how his hair was drawn, which is completely understandable if you didn't its ok, he has always had a tuff of hair that completely sticks out. sadly, i dont think this was ever obvious to people given how it blends in way too easily when it's positioned towards the right, so i moved it towards the left to make it pop out a little.

his hair has always been a bit inconsistently drawn throughout the years, but i think after this you will notice that i start styling it very consistently because i started finally *getting it* around this time.

hopefully this makes it better for people to understand. listen. i had to suffer drawing those early designs so you guys still sit and listen to me complain about a 12 year old's shitty character design.

along with a new design for Perrin, Kirbypeater also makes a comeback after being shafted for almost 4 years!!

I mainly picked him back off from his mid 2015 design, but made some refinements and changed the direction of his tuff of hair lol. I also made him a separate character from perrin kinda. he's a bit more child-like and friendlier than the human perrin.

2020 also brings two new awesome AUs onto the table!! The first one being based off of Persona 5, where the Pinwheel Quintet becomes Phantom Thieves and such. This was made for an art challenge in Sony Sketch Amino and I did a whole fanfic for it but it's really bad.. I'm not showing you.

All I can tell about the story is I think i turned evil or something and their superpowers got taken away, so now they gain the persona powers and shit and they have to steal my heart to turn me good again.

Second au is also from a Sony Sketch Amino art challenge. Created by the same friend that made that one reference sheet of underswap sans lol (hi yan) and the story was co-written by meeee!!

This challenge revolves around a detective mystery, where the participants are given the plot and a prompt per week, each week the story updates giving them more details on the mystery and they eventually have to find out the perpetrator of the crime and stuff.

The story i think goes that a rich ass woman invites people to her party to see her awesome shiny diamond and so people come and then uh oh! the diamond's gone!! so then the detective (yan's oc) goes up to you like ur gonna investigate this with meee and then they do that and a bunch of stuff happens and oh my god peater's the thief all along?!?!?!? holy shit!!!

~ 2021 - 2022 ~ The AU Era

look I'm gonna be frank with you guys, I don't think this era was exactly my proudest. I think it's because the more we approach the present, this is gonna be the thing closest to the current me. you can kinda excuse all the other embarassing stuff from the earlier ones because i was young but honestly i dont like looking at this stuff sometimes 😭

speaking of fruity, some of you might've noticed that he also went by any pronouns in this ref and the prev. this was sorta something randomly added that gets retconned later on. (he does by he/him only now.) this doesn't mean he's cis though. he could be trans? or a third mysterious thing? who knows.

also! the introduction of peater piper!! his pipe weapon!!! it is the most powerful pipe to ever touch fiction. i felt like the baton thing wasn't anything significant enough + severe downgrade from the sword so i changed it to a pipe. feels like it fits his sewer rat vibe.

i think this stage was just particularly experimentative, going in very strange directions that i dont usually take so you're gonna see a lot of strange characters popping up now.

Swap Perrin - So you remember the Lu guy i mentioned during the christmas part? Well i made a funny swap au once and peater gets swapped roles with Lu! he is acoustic and likes hamsters.

Harlequin Rabbit - There's a lot of drawings i made of him but this is the only bareable one i can find. this bastard is a fucking god of the rabbits or some shit and he can travel through worlds but he's a FUCKING ASSHOLE and a FUCKING LOSER and EVERYPERRIN BULLIES HIM!!! I ALSO HATE HIM!!!!!

SpaceBun - This cute motherfucker is from a story that Lu imagines in his funny little brain of his where he's an awesome bunny space ranger and perrin is like, his love interest character kind of. she kinda has godly powers? she's a sweetheart. i love her. you should love her too. (also by far the hardest to draw and color in my drawing because she actually doesn't have a real reference sheet.

Roboperry - Not actually an AU, but they kinda snuck in there as part of the perrin group through a simple doodle i made. A friend became REALLY obsessed with it and now it's part of my story along with normal Perrin. They're a sweet little idol robot that loves Perrin very much <3

YanLu Perrin - AU where Lu is a yandere that wants to GET PERRIN!! honestly this guy's just a blank slate, wow, almost like senpai from yandere simulator, which this was based off of!!

P5PT - He's back!! with a fresh look!! Lookin' cool, Perrin.

OmorPea - yeah.

Demon AU - Based off of this vietdrama i saw of a group of witches living in the human world and terrorizing their neighbors with their magical powers. This instead is Perrin being a demon and terrorizing the neighborhood by being fucking evil.

AstroDome AU - AU where Audie (the yellow they) is a sad starving child that tries to sleep off their pain by being in their dream world. Perrin in the dreamworld is one half of a powerful crow god and he is a fucking bastard!!!

MM AU - Also new design!! He's not seen above but I do wanna talk about his character a bit. He grew up in a poor family and due to a series of unfortunate events, had to abandon his family and live on his own, deciding to become a thief to survive. Though he didn't want to live like this, he gets extremely good at his job and becomes an infamous thief in the cities. I think this AU was part of the reason why i got really into lupin iii later on

All of these Perrins were in like a Perrinverse situation where they interacted with each other and I drew a shit ton of art for them. All of these AUs, aside from Masquerade Mystery, AstroDome, Roboperry are now defunct and not being used sadly. It was fun while it lasted.

Okay, last one to go through.

This one really got slapped with the Monkey Punch art style lmao. Not to say that's a bad thing, he looks pretty awesome. It was honestly really hard to draw him right in my new style, it took quite a while to get used to it but it was all worth it!!!

Will there be a couple more changes to his design in the future? maaaaybe.. But I'm happy with how he is now, the previous design got way too out of hand with the details.

Mission; scarlet stars fantasy au (working on finding a name)

-Prologue; kayl-

Notes before story; i dont write multi chapter fics often. And character behaviors might not be 100% accurate to those when the full game comes out(relying on the demo rn), but im having fun! Also, since its still small, MSS was originally created by my buddy, boris! As an instaronpa. Now its becoming a full on game and hes directing it, alongside one other persob and a team. Id give the demo a try! Its on itch.io(? I think thats what its called).

Promotion aside, ive never written a huge fantasy stoey before. Mostly vampires n dragons. Ive been having fun with this though! I get to write and design fantasy appearances for the characters. (Still fighting the urge to give bear-taur mezsha a bear nose...).

Also, while i created a few ocs for this au, Ivernake is not one. Hes from the original mss!! (Not in the demo tho).

Cordelia and casper are two of said ocs. Others that might show up are; atlas, caspian, athena(named after the greek god), and a few unnamed dragon ocs.

Also i hope i wrote this right im not great at writing in the perspective of characters who are meant to be the big bads of the story. And i hope the hunters are written at least okay. I have covid rn and i havent been able to do anything othwr than write and overthink and im overthinking rn lol. Im trying. Not beta read really.

“Captain!,” A heavily scarred man shouted, holding onto a net and heaving it onboard, “We got one of them fish beasts!”

Kayl walked down the stairs very slowly, gripping the hand rail and walking to the flailing mermaid cautiously. “Get some water, now. We need them alive.” He ordered as he squatted down in front of them.

The crewmate scrambled away to grab a bucket, leaving Kayl to talk to the so-called beast.

“Oi,” he started, “What’s your name.”

The mermaid met his gaze, yellow eyes glinting in fear as they trembled. “...Cordelia.”

The red-head glanced over his shoulder as the crewmate returned. The bucket had droplets of water dribbling down the side, causing the mermaid’s eyes to widen in desperation. She reached her hand out and caught a droplet in her palm, sighing with relief and struggling to catch more.

“Cordelia. I have a deal for you,” Kayl said roughly, knocking on the deck to get her attention, “if you tell me where to find harpies and avians, I’ll set you free.”

The bluenette mermaid looked hesitant for a few seconds before she nodded. “Okay. There’s a a flock of harpies north of here. You’ll know you’re close to them when you pass a large oak.”

Kayl nodded, grabbing the bucket from his crewmate and splashing some water onto Cordelia. “One more thing before i let you out of the net, do you know if any of those birdies is in contact with a mage?”

Cordelia wrinkled her nose at that, slapping her tail on the deck in frustration. “I don’t. Please, let me free now.”

Kayl stood up with a sigh, waving his head. “Well, i am a man of my word… Casper, undo the net and toss the fish overboard. There’s one more of these beasts that I must talk to.”

The creature had been on the ship for days, refusing to address the crewmates or the captain. They had been starved, dehydrated, even threatened. But they refused to speak. Kayl was sure it’d change today.

“Moth,” he said smoothly, briskly making his way to the cage, “are ya ready to speak? Name first. And then I’ll ask questions.”

The moth-creature looked up gloomily, their eyes sunken with exhaustion and hunger and thirst. “...Ivernake.”

“I’ve heard of ya. Famous boxer, i think? Must make loooots of money. I got a proposal for ya; if you give us a few thousand gold, we’ll let ya leave! Deal?” Kayl stuck his hand in the cage, cracking a grin.

Ivernake scoffed, smacking his hand away. “You aren’t getting anything from me. No matter what you and your scum crewmates do, i’m not gonna give you anything for my freedom if it risks others like myself being hurt. I’d rather die.”

The captain’s face became a sneer. “Then die you will.” He hissed, drawing the sword from his hip and planting it directly in the middle of the moth’s back.

Just as he drew his blade out and let the boxer fall to the ground, his crewmates broke into a riot. “CAPTAIN!”, one yelled. “SHE’S BACK!” Another screamed.

Kayl dove for cover before looking up. That purple-haired vulture had made a return, her arms full of bottles and her wings flapping furiously against the wind.

Drop, smash, drop, smash. It started with small yellow bursts, but then it grew larger. The ship began to sink, the cages began to slip around on the deck. His crewmates were wailing and abandoning ship.

It took a lot of effort for Kayl to stand up, but he managed. The last thing he saw before he slammed into the water was the lifeless, unforgiving, eyes of Ivernake.

He didn’t feel remorse, though. He felt angry. He couldn’t die now, he refused to. He swam against the tide and gasped for air, watching as his ship sank to the dark abyss– and a feeling of hatred engulfed his heart. He watched as the vulture dove down for one single cage, dragging it up in her talons and calling for help.

Three more avians flew in and lifted the cage with the lifeless body inside.

How many times had that same group come to sink his ship, how many times had he lost a crewmate and some good money? He couldn’t keep count. He was mad, and he certainly wanted those birds gone for good.

idk been doing some concepts for a spiderman oc, aka spider-woman aka bronze spider aka spider-claw aka veronica "nickel" jackson. this is the most effort ive put into designing any oc ever tbh

[id: some images of colorless digital sketches. the first one is a few concepts for her outfit design, based off victorian-era clothing, mainly in the shape of a tunic, baggy trousers, and boots. her eye-lenses are goggles, which can widen and squint spider-verse style. there are also several concepts of her spider symbol, most of which are in a mechanical style. a list of text tucked between the designs reads, "stockings, beanie hat? coats, belts, chains? handkerchief, tophat." there's also "Bronze Spider" written in the corner of the image.

the second image is some earlier concepts. the main one is just a plain fullbody without any detail. there are some shots of just her torso to figure out the spider symbol placement and design. there are also a few spider symbol designs, though they're not mechanical.

the last image is of nickel in one of the victorian-style designs, seeming to be in midair, her legs hooked back and her arms bent outward, as though she's in the middle of a big jump. end id]

she's gonna have two versions, this is the one before The Incident, and she's gonna have one for After.

she lives in this like, modern fantastical steampunk society (there's technology like phones n computers; there's dragons and unicorns n other creatures; and steampunk. her nyc is called the Tiered City because it is. in tiers. for general inspiration, i imagine it as classic steampunk stuff (cause i dont wanna do worldbuilding, except that they have modern technology too, just steampunk-ified) mixed with some arcane with a hint of lady trent's memoirs (in terms of the fantasy wildlife). but im still figuring things out though

nickel's whole thing is that she is actually one of two spiderpeople in her universe. they're known together as the spider-twins, even though the other spidey is actually her cousin (whose name is victoria jackson) but it's not that important. nickel also has a gf, her name is elsa but im still not sure of a surname

anyway The Incident happens and victoria dies and that rlly screws up nickel, and at some point (before, during, or after idk), nickel gets some drake dna and now whenever she's stressed or angry or anything, she turns into a drake. (it's a process that depends on how awful she feels though so she can just have like, dragon horns only for example). and because she's rather self-destructive at this point she starts calling herself spider-claw.

there's a whole metaphor thing going on w her and dragons are awesome so im using that. also this is all subject to change because im still figuring her out x_x but im having fun with it so it's fine

🎯 -What do they do best? disregarding the obvious answer of "music LOL"... tommy: she's very skilled at making people feel relaxed, whether it's deescalating arguments or calming someone who's stressed. she has a very Chill Aura that makes it easy to be around her. also, silly bear. plucky: keep a positive attitude! it's hard for anything to ever keep her down. lyre: she's a quick learner and a quick thinker, so she's great at adapting to any situation. her actual response to this question would be "i am the best at anything and everything," said while shaking and sweating and gripping the table so hard it cracks.

(their species also came from me googling "woodland animals" on google images because i was desperate for inspiration.)

It's kind of blowing underneath everyone's radar among all of the other problems with regards to Overwatch 2......... but holy shit the Kiriko animated short is fucking terrible. Horrifically bad compared to the usual quality of these shorts, easily the worst directed one of the bunch. I left the video having learned less about Kiriko.

It's soooooo outlandish that I was genuinely cringing. It's not like the OW universe is gritty, but it's never felt so like a cartoon, so immature. Nothing about this short is actually original, it's just constantly wanting to be like other stuff. It hits so many generic checkpoints: protagonist walks in with her favorite trademark food, she bumps into Innocent Civilians which also conveniently lets her show off her Checkbox Diversity skill of knowing sign language, local not-yakuza gang walks in (complete with exaggerated walk cycle) and beats up old man only seconds later, protagonist interferes in the most edgy way... and then, by using her ultimate, she... turns the two civilians into killing machines? Wtf? And then this over the top mother-wailing of her mom crying "My baby is a super hero!!!!!!!!!!!!! ......... ooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ............... !!!!!!!!!!!!! wahhhh!!" jesus christ why did it go on for so long. Nothing felt inspired here, everything felt like such a specific production, trying to be what other stuff has done before, and failing to make the character any more interesting.

Why was this animation so fucking cramped? The entire thing takes place in the world's most narrow apartment hallway and never, ever opens up. This makes the battle extremely unimpressive with no depth, it's just Kiriko disappearing and reappearing, kicking people around. And what's with the whole "I'm going to kick all of you in the face" thing? There's such terrible mood whiplash here, we're seeing innocent people get beat-up by organized criminals and be genuinely threatened... and then our hero appears and says "I'm gonna kick you all in the face" in a really dark voice? Wtf is this middle school shit?

Middle school is just totally how to describe Kiriko. She feels like a chuuni character but with zero irony or awareness, a weaboo's OC shamelessly made-up of influences from the anime theyre watching. And it outright ruins her design/makes it worse. My most hated aspect of her design was her dumbass headband, and you wanna know why she's wearing it? Why is such a prominent aspect of her appearance there? Oh it's because in THIS animated short, she randomly received it as a gift from the kid. Doesnt that just seem so awkward? It's so irrelevant and yet it's arguably the most defining characteristic of her visual design -- imagine if Roadhog got an animation and in the first ten seconds he sees a random mask at Goodwill and is like "hmm, cool" and then just starts wearing it forever.

God and the climax, when the old man gets shot. Again, another huge whiplash that just totally broke my neck -- everything is all goofy during the fight, then STOP! SOMEONE HAS BEEN SHOT! GUNS ARE REA-- oh don't worry, Kiriko has magic healing papers, so all tension is lost. EXCEPT IT'S NOT. YOU JUST PISSED OFF KIRIKO AND NOW SHE;s;psijfb SHE'S FUCKING GOING RAGE MODE. LSL:ASKNDS oh my GOD! How did they animate this with a straight face? I've seen role plays on Neopets be better about drama than this. And then with her ultimate ability, she whips up the two civilians into a murderous rage???? I'm supposed to think this is cool???? That Kiriko apparently has the power to make people explode into violence???

.......... AND THEN SHE DIDNT EVEN KICK ANYONE IN THE FACE? right??? I dont think she kicked ANYONE in the face, despite that being a huuuuge "joke" or whatever! Wtf is this disappointing set up? This whole short feels way more confident in itself than it should lmao, it really thinks its being hilarious.... Like when that gangster was like, "we're gangsters, son!" and then when he's lost he whimpers it again? Oh my god, this is just so juvenile.

What's her relation to Genji and Hanzo? What's her relation to ANYTHING happening in the Overwatch universe? What's the science behind her abilities? Where's her spirit fox?!?! Do we get any sort of glimpse into who Kiriko is besides a shounen anime protagonist vigilante that beats up nameless goons? No but 30% of this ten minute short is spent about fucking donuts.

I want to guess that maybe this was an extremely rushed product, because I just can't believe how poor in quality it is. The dialogue sucks, the cinematography sucks, the action sucks, the characters suck. There's nothing worth remembering here, nothing that pushes Overwatch lore or makes the OW world more interesting, just an immature showcase of the worst character added to OW yet. So completely uninspired.

OKAY i have a bunch of OCs but here i'm gonna share about my main Portal World guys bc i love them

BEHOLD

This is the Portal Quartet (later known as the Portal Quintet once TaeTae joins but i'll talk about that later)

SO basically, to summarize, Portal World is a world I created when I was 11, and the main idea is that it's a world that welcomes everyone, especially those that have been wronged by their canon. It has portals tk many many different worlds in a tower at the center of the world, known as the Portal Tower.

That being said, since it was a world I made from scratch, I needed to give it some gods, right? as one does. So I created these 4 (then teenagers, bc i was a teenager too) to create the world in more detail for me. (at the time they all had made up japanese names bc i was really into anime but that's changed. they were also all boys at the time bc i was a little bitty egg at the time. they're also all in a band bc it's cool. anyway)

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT in thr picture are:

Salfae, Reyna, Yunamu, and Zem Ulaek.

So, Ima talk about them in order of creation!

SALFAE

Salfae (often called either Sal or Fae, Xe/Xem pronouns) is the god if spring. Xe is in charge of feeding the local community by running a large farm and a market (called the April Shmapril Market, bc we take things sooo seriously here). Xe is the second youngest of the quintet (only older than TaeTae, xe just turned 26 y/o as of Jan 21st), even though xe was created first. Xir element is earth!! Xe likes growing and taking care of plants a lot, as well as playing the flute, and reading. Xe was also mute since xe was created which is cool, good job little me on that one. Xe is kind and calm most of the time, doesn't express a lot of emotion. Xe is QPPs with Yunamu.

YUNAMU

Yunamu (usually referred to as Yu, or lovingly as NamuNamu, he/him pronouns) is the god of the summer!! He is in charge of creating the land of the world for the people to explore and live in! He is one year older than Sal (he's turning 27 in november!). His element is water! He enjoys adventuring and exploring, as well as collecting rocks. He also plays the drums in the band! He likes to keep to himself usually though. He gets overwhelmed easily and will shut down if that happens. He is QPPs with Sal.

ZEM ULAEK

Zem Ulaek (Usually known as Z.O, they/them pronouns) is the god of the winter! They are in charge of the arts in the world! They just turned 28 in December, being two years old than Yu. Their element is air!!! They really enjoy music, especially playing the guitar and bass guitar! They are best friends with Reyna and actually have a big crush on her. They get easily annoyed and angry but they always mean well.

REYNA

Reyna (usually known as Rey, she/her pronouns) is the god of the summer! She is in charge of building and technology! She created the Portal Bracelets, which let residents travel between locations more easily with portals! She is 28 (will be turning 29 in August). Her element is fire!! She really loves dumb jokes and memes. She will quote them all the time (much to Z.O's (affectionate) annoyance). As mentioned before, she is Z.O's best friend. She also plays the guitar!

THAEUL

Thaeul (usually known as TaeTae, Tae/Taem/Taer or She/Her pronouns) doesn't have a season like the other 4 do but she was added last to the Portal now-Quintet. She is in charge of emotions, friendship, and identity/individuality! Tae will be turning 23 in August of this year! Taer element is energy/aether! Tae really likes being loud and proud, music, and dancing. She is basically everyone's beloved friend. Tae plays the piano!
