Because at least for Wave 1 - 6 now, they have had a variety of content to choose to start from so it's much easier to pick out a 'favourite'. You don't even have to just choose one because god knows how chaotic EN is HAHAHA

So for bacon, it depends. If it's in a sandwich, it has to be crispy. By itself, it can be either crispy or soft. Do you have a favorite type of bacon? I like either the thick cut or the maple wood flavor. When I have pancakes, I go with the thick cut, and it's cooked like half crispy half soft.

Yeaaaah I like having the extra crunch with the sandwiches. Sometimes, I even put it inside the sandwich then flatten it so it's not too thick. Then eat more chips on the side lol.

I love all three of the sandwiches you mentioned. Do you? Especially tuna sandwiches. I don't think I can ever get tired of it. When you have your fried egg sandwich, do you fry your egg all the way? Or still have some yolk that you can clean up with the bread butt? Hahaha sorry, I call it the bread butt but I meant like the final piece of the sandwich that doesn't have any egg...

i dont really eat the crust. some people called me weird that i dont like it. what's funny is now my daughter doesn't like the crust either. depends on what we fish. Sometimes we use chunks of squid, sometimes we use life squids (which is messy because they squirt ink), sometimes we life sardines for the tuna fishing or other fish. For fly fishing for salmon we use fake bugs bait. For bass or fresh water fishing we use life worms.

Oh no we took it home.. n by the time it's done n on the way back to the shore the crew will help u cut n gutted the fish so u just bring home fillet of fish.

One time i caught 3 bluefin tuna which is a very good quality of tuna n it's always expensive if u get it in sushi place. My cousin's husband is a sushi chef, so i brought the whole 3 tunas n asked him to cut them in my apartment n he also brought home sushi rice n some sauces.. so we had sushi, sushi rolls n sashimi feast and i invited all my friends. Lol.

I usually cook any white fish i caught. Like red snapper, or the mahi mahi, rock fish.

nutmeg: how's your room/home decorated? do you have a specific theme or style going on?

there is no theme. in my house or in my room haha i haven't decorated much neither did my family but along the years i really wanted to make my room like those there are in shows of teenagers. ofc i could never do it that good but the highlighted decorations of my room are the origami butterflies, a poster of space vehicles, childhood pictures, an "all the best for your exams" poster my parents made years ago, some of my doodles, books, a wall sticker. i'd like to mention that all of them have backstories and my room is actually kind of blank but it's pretty beautiful too because it's got all these things that give me just so much comfort. hey can that be the theme?

umm like in school? or just generally? my major is psychology so i'm learning that and i'm also learning that i'd really like to start the lgbt club at my uni. and i want the head position (yep i want power). and also that i don't actually love jam unconditionally. there are some definite complications there. also been learning that I'm actually strong and cool. i can do stuff on my own and do them properly. feels good.

Staycation Day 3...

So we went very touristy today (and I guess a warning in advance, religious too. I dont know if I need to give a 'warning' and I respect and understand everyone has a different faith but I visited somewhere very Catholic today so I felt, a 'warning' was somewhat needed just because...)

Anywhoo, first off this morning, King Johns Castle in Limerick. I learnt a lot and forgive my Irish bias here but my God the English were penisheads!!

Tiny Irish history lesson - King Henry the 2nd had a number of sons - one if which was Richard the Lionheart (I am sure we all know of him) and another John who came to Ireland on behalf of his father to basically further the English rule over Ireland. Although the castle is called King Johns, he never visited it and the castle was so called after he died. History lesson in short, John, Henry and a number of other English (and to be fair Irish people too), rebelled and warred and fought against each other to try and win Limerick and in the end the English won, taking over Irish chieftian lands, making it illegal to follow traditional Irish customs. There is a lot more to it then that with all the inbetweeny stuff but that was gist of it. England won but obviously that changed as history moved in.

There was an exhibtion first and then you could go under the castle and also climb up the top.

I left Limerick to head for Co Mayo and on the way towards my next stop, I saw a sign for a place called Knock.

If anyone is familiar with the story of Fatima in Portugal, it is the same religious apparition.

Knock is a tiny town and in 1879 it was teeny tiny. On August 21st 1879, in the evening, on a very wet evening, 15 witness's saw a heavenly vision surrounded by a white light in front of the church. Each one said it was the Virgin Mary dressed in white robes, her hands held together in prayer. On her right stood St Joseph and on her left, John the Evangelist. The 15 stood and prayed for two hours in front of the light until it faded away and although they were wet, none noticed any rain falling as they prayed.

All witness's were spoken too, all said the same thing and all were of sound mind, ranging from the ages of 16 to 70 plus.

Its a place I have never been too and as I was so close decided to visit.

I am not an overly religious person even though I grew up going to mass every week, have gone through all reglious practices of a Catholic person. Now I guess I pray and have faith in different ways, only going to mass twice a year now but it was so very strange kneeling in that shrine. I felt suddenly overly emotional and even got teary and I have no idea why at all. It's very hard to explain but I dont know what it was. Just wierd and I don't even know if I believe that Mary did appear to those people but being in that church was surreal. Though in saying that, I have always wanted to go and visit Fatima and the Vatican and when Pope Francis came to visit Ireland in 2018, I did go to the mass in the Phoneix Park in Dublin but being in a place that is so holy well I can't find the right words. Just strange.

Anyway, I took some photos outside, not inside because even I know something like this deserves to be respected.

The triangular glass building is where the appariation happened and you can just about see the point of the top of the orginial church on the left roof side of the triangle.

But yeah, for me it was great to go and see it and I am glad I did. Unfortunately because of COVID people are not allowed to touch what is called 'the gable'. It's a piece of the church where the appriation happened. There have been some incredible stories of sick people/people with disabilities touching the gable and being cured so who knows.

That little odd square piece is the gable. I would have liked to have been able to touch it and if it hadn't of been so busy, I would have sneaked a sneaky touch but didnt want to risk it.

I got some holy water and rosary beads instead.

Each to their own with their beliefs and faith but I just wanted to share my visit to Knock and experience and for me, I enjoyed it.

I am now at my next stop in Castlebar Co. Mayo. I've no pictures. Its not a capital city or anything. Just a town. Tomorrow I am going to visit another touristy town and am debating whether to do the Aran Islands. Cos I'm moving onto Co. Donegal for tomorrow evening, there's not a lot of time for island hopping so might just leave it and do the beaches instead.

Anyway, I am rambling

Oh more news... two of my fish died (Elton and Eggsy) and I just have Eddie left. My mam sent me this video today...

She got me 2 new fishy's!!! Haha! I laughed so much when I saw the video! She has called them Crystal and FireFly (Don't ask where she got the names from).

So Eddie has two new friends to play with! What a mad surprise! Also I laughed too 'cos in the video mam sent me (I edited that one above down), she let the bag fall over and the fish went splash! Hilarious!

"Ummm hello to you to Tommy..why am I packing my bags?" You look at your best friend confused

"Because I'm taking you with me to America. I have a few press things to do in Texas and then I'll have a bit of free time and I thought we could explore the area."

"Wow...Tom that sounds AMAZING but I cant possibly let you do that. That's way to much money I-I just cant let you do that...."

He takes your hands and says "Nik I want to take you with me. I need my best friend with me while I explore Texas. Please come with me......plus I've already bought your ticket soooo... " hes smirking like a Cheshire cat

"THOMAS HIDDLESTON!! I cant believe you already bought my ticket!"

"Well if I didnt I know you wouldn't go hehehehe"

"Fine lol. I'll go pack my bags...you really are mischievous"

****Time skip to after Tom's press conferences in Texas****

"Hey Nikhad Tom Holland will be joining us today since hes done with all his press today and wont be leaving til tomorrow."

"Haha ok Hiddles that's fine. Hi Tom nice to see you again" Tom Holland waves back at you with a smile.

"William? Since when do u call me by my middle name?"

"Since you guys are both Tom H. You need to know which Tom in speaking to if I'm not directly looking at one of you duh lol"

"Ehehehe alrighty then. So have you decided what we are doing today"

"Can we go to Six Flags Over Texas? It looks like fun!"

"Oh yes someone at the meet and greet was talking about that place it sounds great. Its supposed to be a great amusement park."

"Of course Nikhad anything you want darling. Ehehe sounds like Tom here is definitely on board haha"

Tom (Hiddles) has been acting a bit different lately. Not in a bad way hes just been more....um loving I guess. Tom Holland has noticed this as well. He even asked me when finally adme it official lol he was surprised to find out that we were just friends but hey I'm definitely not complaining since I have been in love with him for a very long time.

We got on tons of rides like The Batman, Mr. Freeze, The Texas Giant, The Joker. We even rode a few water rides since it's so hot in Texas. The Aquaman and The Roaring Rapids (my personal favorite). We got soaked it was amazing. After all that excitement we decided to play some games and get some food.

There were lots of people who were taking pics of me and the 2 Tom's and a few even approached asking for a picture and autographs. After a while some paparazzi showed up once they caught wind of us being at Six Flags. They are always having me and Tom Hiddleston in the news saying we are a couple...if only it were true.

We ended the night getting ready to watch the firework show.

"Nikhad..." Tom says as he takes my hands in his turning to stand in front on me.

"Is everything ok tom?"

"Its wonderful....I just have something I need to tell you....I cant keep on bottling this up...."

"Thomas you know you can tell me anything...what's going on?"

"I-I am in love with you...and I have been for a while now but I was never sure if you felt the same way. And I completely understand if you dont bu-" hearing tom say he loves me gave me a confidence boost so I ended his rambling by leaning up to kiss him. Once he realizes what's going on I feel him relax in to it and we pull away after what felt like hours.

"Tom I love you too..."

"You are the most amazing woman I have ever met. I never thought you'd see me more than just a friend but now that I know you do...would you be my girl?" He says with the biggest smile on his face.

"Yes Of course Tom!" I wrap my arms around his neck and his arms go around my waist to lean in for another kiss just as the fireworks start to go off. Tom Holland heard the whole conversation and was able to sneak the perfect picture and upload it to Instagram.

@yourusername and @twhiddleston finally made it official! Super happy for you guys! ❤❤

We finally left once they closed for the night (10pm) and went back to the hotel ready for bed. We said our goodbyes to Tom Holland since he would be gone before we woke.

Everything seemed so perfect I had the man of my dreams and he loved me just as much as I loved him. I cant wait to see what our future holds.

koi’ve decided to write a little diary here again, since 1. i need to practice my english 2. i really need to declutter my brain 3. i miss being able to remember little day to day things, and revisiting my thoughts even years later. so here goes - this is i suppose kinda private, but not really, it IS on a public tumblr - however one that nobody visits much (hello arlet!)

so this is a ramble about my new job, a long bit about my plants and my garden.

i’ve been at this new office job (scoff!! why, again?) for 2 weeks and i’m not sure i’ll last more than a month. after the whole quarantine thing, i realised how much i love just... not having to wake up in the morning when i’m least functional, getting ready (i hate how much effort i have to put into my appearance. i know i dont HAVE to, but I feel like once you set a standard at a new workplace you kinda... can’t go below it without people actively noticing it), and taking 40 minutes by buses to get there. this was supposed to be a remote job!! and i don’t feel competent at it at all!! and people are pretty dismissive and rude!!! and i wrote like 3 paragraphs just complaining about it, but i deleted those just now. idk, what’s the point, right. i just don’t like it here, and i will last till the end of the month so i get one proper payout and then i might just quit and REALLY try to survive on freelance. if ONLY i was more successful at building an audience, and potential customers!! jesus. i don’t know. i don’t draw because i don’t feel like people care to see it, and obviously if i don’t try i won’t gain anything. why am i like this

anyway, a nice thing is that i feel like my plants are trying to cheer me up?

first of all, pretty much all of my 16 houseplants are doing well - my monstera deliciosa is SUCH a good lil bugger, she keeps sprouting new leaves every week! soon she’ll have to be repotted at this rate. and my finicky calathea, whom i recently treated of mites, which involved meticulously scrubbing every leaf with a toothbrush, is also sprouting two new leaves - something i have NEVER seen her do in the months of owning her. i guess this is her way of thanking me!

in addition to that - after my balcony garden got SCORCHED by the sudden heatwave this month, it’s finally recovering - i threw out the ugly little flowers that completely dried out and replaced them with fresh herbs (more my style, the flowers were a gift from my dad). i planted my some lemon balm, chives, oregano, mint, and my favorite herb - parsley. in addition to that, my strawberry plant has waken up from its little coma - after the insane harvest of spring berries it exhausted itself and went dormant - and now it’s round two, baby! she’s full of fresh leaves and flowers and everyday i get to snack on at least 4 new ripe strawbs. i can’t believe my dad suggested throwing her out after she stopped bearing fruit and got burnt leaves from the sun! look at her now. beautiful. dad’s jealous now, too, we bought the strawberry plants together from the same store and his never did this well.

i still have an abundance of cherry tomatoes and my bell peppers are finally ripening too, which is nice. on top of that, i planted some raddish and kohlrabi (turnip?) and to my shock, after my weekend camping trip, i found that they have both sprouted already! that’s like, four days! damn.

my heart still aches after the tragic loss of my favourite one  - the pea plant that i managed to, in record time, raise from a seed into a full grown plant that gave me exactly 12 delicious pea pods before succumbing to sudden 35 celsius heat. I nearly cried when i had to throw it out, but i kept the pot.... and like a phoenix from its ashes, it has risen again!! a little sprout, but we’ll see how it does. we do love a good comeback story!

today i also bought an ivy plant that i planted next to the herbs (is that a good idea? idk we’ll see) and some seeds that i planted, too (basil, more parsley, more chives, spinach, and some pea seeds that i sprinkled around my pea plant to give it some company hopefully, haha). we’ll see. i enjoy growing plants from nothing - it feels incredibly invigorating to see baby greens poking out of the dirt where there was nothing before. it’s not easy, but it’s rewarding.

random cute stuff from the past week that i can think of :

-camping trip was nice. saw a lot of gorgeous nature, went for a really nice long bike ride, ate some really good ice cream.

-biking is still amazing, i love my bike (i named him lestat, cause he’s got sass) and i go almost every day. thank god petržalka is such a heaven for cyclists. 

-cashier lady in billa complimented me on my stag beetle brooch that i have on my bag strap. it is a not much of a brooch, it is literally a 10 cm plastic beetle that i glued pin closings to, and he’s very visible on my chest. looks pretty realistic. it was nice to see him appreciated!!

-i might start streaming, just for my friends? like, videogames. i’m good at some, very good at others, and i can talk passionately about most, and that’s why throughout my life many of my friends and family members really enjoyed watching me play. i don’t know, but i don’t mind. i don’t really want an audience of strangers, but i don’t mind the occasional company and giving my friends something to fall asleep to. i mean i play vidya often anyway, so there is not much extra effort there haha

also, not cute, but tomorrow i have my 3 hour dentist session. i’m not excited for it, but i guess it’ll bring me a bit closer to my new teeth. jesus, i can’t wait. i know it will take like 2 more months to have it all done, but i really really want it to be done.

I've dealt with anxiety for about 6+ years now and when you mention your issues, it helps me feel less alone. It shows that I'm not alone and I can fight through it. My anxiety's been through the roof because of stressing about college so I thought I'd send an ask (for the first time ever because it makes me nervous haha) to a blogger who I thought would understand. (i apologise in advance for making this an excuse to talk about my experiences and vent)

its not something i talk about a lot because im a firm believer in trying to surround yourself with positivity, sometimes talking about it makes me more upset than i was originally and i really cant tell if i was just having a really rough time last year or it was heightened by surrounding myself with people like me who sort of encourage that negative thinking.

until i got to the end of high school, it was something i could safely manage. my workload wasn’t a lot and there were parts i really hated but i got away pretty alright with just some really bad stomachaches.but since i started having to prepare for exams about 3 or 4 years ago i went through a really rough time. 

my first college only got worse. i had a lot of problems there, and i was in the midst of it about when i started this blog. the stress had broke me out in eczema and really bad panic attacks. while the college was very shitty and was the cause for a lot of people i know having mental health issues, they could handle that sort of stuff pretty well. there was a lovely woman in the nurses office who used to sit with me through my panic attacks (they were literally so debilitating id miss 45 minutes of class just trying to breathe again and get the blood flow back in my limbs) who ran the lgbt enrichment “club” that i used to attend (so hearing “charlie” and using they/them pronouns was really soothing.) and she was the one who applied me for a CBT course on dealing with panic.

i still deal with anxiety. because with these things you have to help yourself escaping scenarios is the worst thing you could do. unfortunately, i am very very good at escaping situations im not comfortable with. just look at how bad my attendance at my first college was. because my anxiety at the time rested a lot in classroom environments the whole “breakdown into small steps” just didnt work for me. it was all or nothing. attend and suffer or dont attend at all.

right now, im not having a good time either. summertime depression is a thing that happens to me every year and it has for about the last 6. an apprenticeship i know im perfect for hasnt called me back, its the only thing i feel like i might be able to actually do. there are no jobs in my area. i can do another year of college but what then? i dont feel capable of doing anything. theres nothing for me. i have no future, no hope. on top of that, i feel the most down about my art and writing than ive been in a long time. 

i just dont know what the point of anything is. i feel like such a burden and disappointment to everyone around me. 

so, i get it. college is tough or at least i certainly cant cope with it very well. i hope things work out for you! if anything, sending me this ask if one step forward for you right? :)

sorry for…rambling so much about myself. i guess i needed to get it off my chest.

Yes it was very very nice. Gordon was as cute as ever, and it was nice just hanging out with my friends on the first day of the new year.

oh I'm not sure what the fashion ones are for (probably yes, to make people look hotter grrr) but I have a few sports ones because they help with my grip, like cycling and tennis. It protects the palms, I guess, haha.

No I understand. Your school probably has different branches in other cities. Mine doesn't but I know some that do, so don't worry I'm not confused 😝😝

ahhh I'm sorry xD we use the term freely here, kinda like what you call your best friend, but okay twins with an age gap, that's cute. You're right, you two are pretty similar, at least from what I've seen. I have Aaron, who's very similar to me, so I can understand how you regard Kuro haha. But yes, it's always nice to relate to someone and have them with you. I've said this tons of times, but you guys are truly lucky to have each other.

But I'm really good at hiding my emotions, to the point where my friends don't know what I feel at all (besides happiness), and that's pretty scary honestly, because I wish I could be more transparent about it. Oh off topic again, but yeah just wanted to put that out there xD

I'm sure she considers you a huge help to her, and it's plain to see that you love her very much, so I hope things get easier for her!!

When I said that, I hope it didn't come out as me asking or anything (it was never my intention 😣😣)— I just meant that I didn't even need to know, because I still think you're cute and attractive all the same :)) and I already have a rough idea from what you've told me, so don't worry about creating an artbreeder :P (tho I've seen a bunch of anime characters on artbreeder and they're so pretty. I might just use it myself to make Oikawa or the Miya twins on it 😭😭💖)
