Little Nightmares analysis
It's always interested me when people make Thin Man vengeful against Six based on him kidnapping her in the game. But I think his intentions are the opposite.
When he kidnapped her, he put her in a monster form right? Made her lucid and quiet. But he also put her in a room filled with toys and comfort items.
He's getting her out of the way. It would've been extremely easy to just kill Six when he had her in his hands, cause that would've broken the cycle. But instead he put her in a lucid state in a comforting room. To keep her out of the way.
But with Mono, he was chasing him down and trying to use his powers against him, which we've seen can disintegrate people.
Even as an adult, Mono chose killing his younger self to break the cycle over hurting Six.

We left Loyalty's Meander at the same time our last guests did. Apparently, the horrible murder-cult vibes weren't enough to deter them, so now we have allies! That's nice, I guess.
Blackthorn learned to walk while we were road-tripping and I couldn't get this scene from Ice Age out of my head while I was trying to draw it so you just get the scene instead.
Thanks to the vehicle mod, it only took us eight days to get here, so here we are! I can't wait to see the ship!
hmmmmmmmm
there is... no ship
That is problematic. We'll try to mine into those mountains and see if there's a ship hidden in there somewhere, but I fear this may call for some Dev Mode intervention from Ecthuctu themselves...
Duchess now is not a good time
Curly, that is RUDE. Ecthuctu will not be impressed by this slight, mark my words... Terrible things are coming for you.

I had this submitted to my blog just like 15 minutes ago by an anon:
Chigiri is a big chest guy? So he don’t like small boobs is that what you mean? Why? What’s so undesirable about small boobs that every single author always forget or explicit exclude women with small boobs? Are small boobs disgusting? Boring? Why is always about big boobs being better!
I’ll answer in good faith, ok: this is not what I meant. I meant “big chest guy” the same way you’d say someone is a “big movie guy”, it’s meant to be that he is big into tits, as in he likes them a lot. I generally try to be as inclusive as possible in my writing, so much so that that part was meant to include man boobs too, I reall try to be inclusive, esp in headcanons where I’m free to not go into details so that’s easier. If I’m writing a full fic then I tend to lose that a bit, and when I need details I’ll usually take them from my reality, so if you read my fics and feel like that too I apologize, it just happens that I got big tits and I’m writing the fics for myself, my life ends up being my bias. But I reiterate: I meant it as in “he really likes boobs”, if that didn’t come accross I apologize, nobody proof reads my shit and english is only my second language, the first being portuguese.
Again, I’m so sorry, I get ya, I get the rage. Every fic author out there is doing reader blushing, but my black ass can’t blush, even tho I’m not even that dark. Every fic author is writing about petite women with tiny little waists, and someone like me who is tall and thick just gets left out. It’s always rosy pussies and tiny pink nipples, it’s always flowing long hair and women getting swallowed by their boyfriend’s shirts, and I many other things that made me feel left off. I’m sorry if that was the case, really. I try to make this a space safe for people with all different bodies as much as possible, and hopefully, despite my limitations, I can at least do an ok job, for everyone.

PLS what is the story/lore behind the tim insomnia art piece (w/ him holding the bloody batarang) the angst looks SO GOOD
ngl it's been a while so my memory of the concept behind insomnia is spotty, but for more artsy pieces like this it's less about the lore or specific situation and more about the visuals/feeling to me? so it's more that i have a scene come to me and i build that out (<- me trying to explain that i dont have elaborate lore lol)
so the context i came up with to justify the scene is tim being overwhelmed/semi-dissociating, caught up in the problems he's been running from as tim drake using robin an escape, unable to deal with them, and trying not to think about the fact that half of those problems are caused by the fact that he's robin, that he has a secret identity, and that he's going through it in ways he can't explain to people not in the know -> hence, tim clutching the batarang both as something to ground him and as something that's hurting him
i had also recently read silverwhittlingknife's post about tim as a watcher, especially when he's first introduced—the set of panels where tim is just a set of eyes definitely informed some of this ("some" being the panel with the giant eyes lol) (pls read swk's meta their stuff is always so cool)
i think? i also pulled the aesthetic of the bloody batarang from an old scrapped piece i never posted bc i didnt like how it turned out (it's like. from when i first started drawing tim) so some of that is there
this was like. one of my first attempts at more comic-style dramatic lighting and yeah damn i've come a long way. again! i dont know what's happening here, i just wanted to draw tim bleeding, clutching a batarang, and under some dramatic lighting
(this is also. beyond what you asked but: i think this shows how much my design for tim has changed since my initial conception of him--he had much straighter/longer features that have really softened up, which i think you can see most in the nose. and no moles!)

I'm having sort of formless thoughts that I'm gonna kind of ramble about a bit in order to try to give them shape:
About fandom as a community garden and how there are different ways to interact with the garden that are all completely fine and wonderful. Some fans tend their garden and cultivate lovely things from the earth and seeds of canon. Some fans are just there to enjoy the garden mostly passively, but they're respectful and appreciative of what the gardeners do. And there's some fans out on the fringe of the garden, where things are a little more wild and untamed, and that's fine too, sometimes they leave slightly disturbing gifts near the edge garden (like the occasional dead dove for instance) but if that’s not for you you can just leave it where it lies and it's part of the ecosystem too.
And sure, there's always been people who will stomp on other people plots of land or try to push weird bylaws on everbody else, but there’s a kind of new type stomping around in the garden. Who doesn't actually seem to care for the garden at all, dislikes it as a concept really, and would much prefer to roll out some nice tidy astroturf that the landlords have provided for them, and actually they kind of think the people who like the garden are gross and weird for wanting to hang out in a garden where there's dirt and bugs and stuff.
