First, here is my long fic, Nameless. I will actually turn this into a trilogy, and while the first volume is a canon-compliant Old Mondstdt fic (almost finished, 1 more month give or take), the second volume will be from Venti's POV as he rewinds time multiple times to try to prevent the bard's death. As for volume 3, well, you'll see :>

Posted on tumblr and twt, my Venti in a cage art. I made a colored version (not as polished as I wanted but still), and a lineart version too:

I also have this Xiaoven wip (I'm a multishipper). It's really far from done yet. I'm kinda happy with the lighting and expressions so far.

This art uses Hamelin's Xiao design, that I created in 3D for a mod (model and textures by me, and the weights were by mimo4e)

I found this AI art and really wanted to fix it. I expected it to be a quick paintover, but kept finding more things I wanted to change, and trying to match the rendering style to the original, so I spent at least 7 hours on my version.

» Update on Murren's Archon mod: On this mod specifically. I contributed to the original version still on GB, but I wanted to give it more shadows, a more magical hair with special highlights, and updated skirt and wings. The wings are made of the feather he uses in his canon outfit, since many fans headcanon he had wanted to give that feather taken from his wings to the bard.

The music: Psycho Killer by Talking Heads. I got this idea when I first forced myself into the antebellum fandom this February. Simply speaking it’s a nonsense joking version of antebellum history brief wrapped in 4 min. It’s taking me so much time to produce but I’m still not sure about many ideas such as the 40s…which I’m not familiar with…(in fact I have to apologize I’m still not familiar with most of the antebellum people even until today’s progress…

Mollish, what kind of five stars dish are you cooking with the chapter?!

Let me get this straight: You have reached the 100 pages mark, and (if you haven't already past it) have written, atleast, 80k words.

For those who are like "that not a lot", let me put this into prespective.

Firstly, "The Great Gatsby" is a novel that has a count of **looks at Google* about 47k words (if you don't want the unrounded number, there are 47.094), as indicated by the source.

Secondly, a 100 pages are A LOT. It's true that depending on style of the font and how big it is, it can affect the canvas. Let's say that Mollish writes with the standard Calibri 12 Word offers when booted up. A single page can hold an small introduction, a text body about 3-4 paragraphs and a conclusion. All that is about 200-300 words. Do you see what I mean?

Finally, if you still haven't seen what I mean, is that those hundred pages and 80k words are NOT different chapters. These. Are. For. A. Singular. Chapter.

In conclusion, Mollish (aka, you, yes you, the one who is reading this) has written more words than a novel, the book itself is more or less as long as a children's book [a 100 pages is about a half an inch (???) ( about 7 milimetres or 1 whole centimetre)], and is doing all of this for a chapter of a fanfic for an AU about a project a creachur that films themselves playing games named "Ranboo" made, just because she feels like it.

We must appreciate the work and time she has putted behind the writting ( AND drawings) for Unperson.

Let me just say "Thank you Mollish for creating the AU and lending it the time and care it needs to grow."

I know I've been saying it for weeks now, but I promise I'm nearly done! Today I finally hit the 100 page mark and have just passed 42,000 words (making the entire fic nearly 100,000 words long!) :D

As there was so much I needed to do with this chapter (you'll see what I mean by that when it releases), I had to make it really long. I doubt chapter 5 will be anywhere near the same length, but of course I can't say for sure until I'm actually writing it lol

I should be finished with writing Chapter 4 in the next few days, and then I pass it on to my beta reader for edit suggestions. While they're reading it, I can use that time to finish working on the cover art and the (many) website updates that will accompany the chapter itself!

The corresponding audiobook chapter won't be out for a while yet as after I release this chapter I need to actually record an entire audiobook for a client (yippee!!), but as soon as that's done I'll get on to dubbing my own work again (and then of course beginning work on Chapter 5)!

Thank you all again so much for your patience and support, especially through this prolongued hiatus. The wait has been a lot longer than I anticipated, but so is the chapter, so hopefully that makes up for it haha

Six Sentence Sunday Goes to Pitch Manor

Hello all! Thank you for the tags @you-remind-me-of-the-babe, @cutestkilla, @shrekgogurt, @aroace-genderfluid-sheep, @artsyunderstudy. I love getting tagged so I don't accidentally miss anything of what you lovely peeps are working on. (Sometimes I can't scroll the feed, so please tag me on your WIP posts if you aren't already!)

Every day, I do my vision therapy exercises (admittedly fewer than I'm probably meant to do, but I have save some eyesight for writing and drawing, right?) and (I hesitate to put this in writing) I think I'm starting to see a difference. My eyes still tire out way too easily, but my necessary recovery time is getting shorter! Hopefully I don't ruin that today by being over-ambitious, but I just love Sundays and Wednesdays on Tumblr XD

I'm still plugging away at my CORB project, and still loving it. I have a tendency to over-write, so future me is going to love it a little less when it comes time to edit, but I'll (probably) survive it. Anyhoo, last time I kept it mysterious and just offered a fun little random bit. This time, I'm going to tease just an itty bitty bit of actual plot.

I continue to enjoy writing in Simon's POV:

When I turn around to leave, I notice the fireplace in a way I hadn’t, before. It’s grand (of course), with more gargoyles carved into the mantle (can’t have too many of those), and a finish that somehow gleams even through a coat of ash and dust. It’s huge, too. (How cold does it get in Hampshire that they need to be able to roast a pig in one of the bedrooms?) It isn’t the size or gargoyles that actually caught my attention, though - it’s the discoloration of the wallpaper just over the mantle. It’s obvious a picture used to hang there. Hung there for a good long while. Maybe it was damaged in the fire? No, no surrounding damage, so I doubt it. Doesn’t really matter, I suppose. It’s just so obvious, now that I’ve seen it. Being aware of the missing piece makes the room feel…I don’t know…Unbalanced? Maybe… unfinished. No, not unfinished. This blank spot on the wall is not part of my job. Right?

(Yup. Gargoyles. Now what could Simon be up to in a room with tons of gargoyles in it? XD)

hi besties! it's been a while since i updated on here properly. there was kind of an infestation issue but now it's all flushed out and I'm back! i've decided to upgrade my days of productivity challenge to 150 total days because i have 40 days of uni remaining (as well as additional exam days) and I wanted to note all of them down and wrap it up in this challenge itself. I'm also gonna start adding memes and random non-productivity updates, just so I feel more motivated to actually post stuff, instead of procrastinating and clubbing too many days at once.

my main focus for the past few days and especially today (20th Oct) has been to complete an assignment on 3D bioprinting and it's relevance in drug testing. I've done a lot of research and learnt a lot of interesting things, but my interest has also led me to getting too distracted and not actually wrapping up the project. I really hope I finish it by tonight, I like how it's looking so far.

i spent yesterday (19th Oct) with my cousins and my sister, I took them to this gaming arcade and babysat them for the day. they seemed to have a good time, I enjoyed a day out of the house as well. we spent so much time there, I managed to upgrade the game card to a gold tier :P we also had taco bell for lunch <3

the day before that (18th Oct) I spent a couple hours on my week3 neuroscience lectures. the concepts are comparatively challenging to understand, so i sat through them many times, I'm yet to make notes for them

on Tuesday (17th Oct) I had extra classes (booo it was the most boring time ever) and a dentist appointment after, so I couldn't really get much done. the dental clinic was just a kilometer or two away from home, so I just walked back, taking pictures of the greenery on the way

i didn't have uni on Monday (16th Oct) so I ended up waking up late but i did clean my room and chart out a work plan the weeks until this semester ends. I've been trying to follow it best I can but oh well, things keep popping up from time to time

in the midst of this I'm in the midst of massive nationwide cricket fever (the world cup is going on and we're doing really well! we've won every match we played so far!) It's also festival time here so I have holidays this week (we don't celebrate at home but my friends call me home and I get to partake with them so it's really nice). And this is coupled with my insane levels of consumption of The Magnus Archives Podcast 24/7 xD. Additionally, I have quite a chunk of AI-ML work to get done by this week (SGD and XBoost model development) and I don't know the first thing about it or where to even start so I'm kind of avoiding it for the moment. Hoping to start that once I'm done with this 3d bioprinting presentation. Fingers crossed!

Project Kinetic is my most favorite lore bit from Arc One~ King really convinced the guy to test out this dangerous serum he attempted to make, in the hopes of it turning out to be a successful enhancer. And then Kinetic literally melted into goop- XD

The very specific motives King has for wanting an enhancement serum will be revealed in time. And yes, King has powers, hence his wanting the serum. Purple doesn't, but he maybe possibly might have something of a techy machinery flying upgrade~?

King does feel remorse for Kinetic's sake. He is a good father to Purple and cares for stick's lives in general. But he is also very angry with... some someone[s]. And this may have something to do with the fate of a certain gold colored stick. And this may have something to do with a revengeful plan of King's. Which may have something to do with a search for a SUCCESSFUL power enhancing serum. Which may have something to do with V- [*gets cut off*]

Masked characters are not just cosplays

Most of my cosplays are masked characters. I don't really like to show my face open to huge crowds at conventions that's why masked characters are quite comfortable for such situations. Yeah mostly I don't see really well and breathing is also a problem but I don't have to wear makeup or wigs.

And that's also why I'm not only a cosplayer but a furry too. Fursuits for me is the next level of cosplay challenges. The costumes can be simple or complex but the difficult part about this is the character itself. There are no guidelines here, you develop a character yourself from scratch and design a costume, lore, etc. Cosplays are usually given characters from video games, series, books, etc. You have guidelines on what the character looks like and what his story is. But making cosplays of OCs is a huge challenge. And on top of that, you have no limitations, which can often be very overwhelming because there are too many ideas. And that's what I love about oc and furry communities.

I have alot of Oc cosplays but for today I want to show you my fursonas. For now I only have 4, of which 2 I'm not using anymore. My oldest two are 8 years old.

3 of my fursuits are partial, one is a fullsuit. I'll rebuild both of them because I really love them with my heart but the masks are completely broken and actually dangerous to wear for now (once got a face wound because of one mask)

This fursuit was an art school project in the pandemic school time, I finished it in 2021. The theme of the project was Mutations, specifically bacterial mutation because of covid but I choose body mutation because it's mostly a side effect of bacterial mutation. And because I wanted to make a fursuit in school XD

Sona/Nubia (currently deciding which name)

The fluffy dinosaur is quite a new fursuit I got and it's so far my favorite one. It's really a comfort fursuit for me. With my other fursuits I kinda struggled to find cool outfits, but with this one I wear whatever I want. Mostly colorful clothes, wide comfy pants, cool jackets, etc. And the fun part is the movable jaw and I really love the sound it makes when moving it. A lot of people around me also love the sound, especially children and adhd people XD

It's quite a learning process with every fursuit build but the biggest hassle is the wash and clean process. I can't even wash my fullsuit, just cleaning the surface with Disinfectant and fragrance spray. But it's worth the pain XD

After MANY MONTHS and my brain hooked on dp x dc stuff, I finally freaking managed to work on my bnha wip chapter draft for ch.11 of Coffee on a roof.

Technically, I already had a first draft, but very bare bones, in my opinion, and in need of major rewriting and editing. Usually, the first draft is pretty fleshed out, but ch.11 was giving me some trouble.

But today, by the Grace of Beatrice, I actually wrote what would essentially be half of the final version of ch.11 that I would post on Ao3. I'm sure there needs to be edits cause of misspellings and some other edits but essentially, it's halfway done.

Funnily enough, the 2nd half is much more fleshed out in the first draft, so there's not much needing to be done other than building onto that and, of course it's actually good enough and fits it with the rest of what I have written.

I'm hoping to meet a word count of at least 3,000, and from the looks of it, I think I'll meet it. It would be nice to be able to post a longer chapter after almost 6 months since the last update (December of 2022). Poor readers, I got a few comments about if I had abandoned the story. XD Sorry, my lovelies, I'm just slow.

Seriously, the dp x dc got its claws in me and did not let go.

I have a lot planned and outlined for Coffee on a roof. Kind need to reorganize that whole mess that's not really messy but feels messy. Either way, I'm invested in completing the story so no abandonedment is happening. Tho can't promise it won't take a long time. Still can't believe I finished TIAB so quickly, tho a lot of that was just free writing it in the sense that things weren't really planned at the beginning.

Things are a bit more complex with COAR and I'm really wanting go make sure it comes out good seeing as it's the 2nd major part of the main story. Gotta make sure it connects and all that jazz with the details and so on.

Kinda stressful tbh with the attention TIAB got, but I try to ignore that, less I want to feel the crushing weight of being perceived and judged...no biggie (I am small and sensitive)

Anyways, just feeling happy bout the progress that was made today. Feels nice.

Also, I just gotta remind myself that writing fics isn't my job or obligation. It's something I do for fun and enjoy. Gotta make sure I keep it that way :p

*FYI Beatrice is a character in one of my other bnha wips that has yet to be published and probably will be a big project if I ever get to rlly work on it. It's a whole chaotic quirked 'doesnt die' Izuku style fic (gotta love having multiple cakes). And to specify, Beatrice is a possum...no I will not expand on that.

Comic Project, Comic Project!! First, thank you so, sooo much for giving my new comic project a follow and a look!! I have the next couple of chapters done and I aim to post new one every 2 weeks to keep a healthy pace for my won energy's sake. :D;; I'll be busy with a friend's visit next week so chapter 2 will probably get posted on Friday where I normally would have posted it on next Monday! Please look forward to it! (always fun to type that) I'm practicing to get more comfy with drawing in procreate so it is a learning curve for sure! :>

Sun Haven!!! Ahhh, I've been playing this game a lot this week, though I'm barely in summer first year now ! This game is so much fun! I love that I can be dragon, fae, demon, angel, elemental, cat or whatever I want and live my fantasy farm dream XD I'm super indulging myself with forbidden angel/vampire romance scenarios now and gushing over so many art ideas in my head. Expect a downpour of arts by the end of the month probably :'D;;;

Watercolors!!!! I'm just going to add 4 exclamation marks to follow the other two, ahem anyway, yes watercolors! I've been practicing environment while not trying to get too hung up on the task, just having fun and drawing Marwind in random wonderous locations! I picked an old sketchbook which has very .....difficult paper but also that makes it easier for practicing and just letting go of expectations. I'm not in a hurry to finish it or anything but excited to show it eventually. It... is going to take a while given how I draw on both sides of the pages XD;;

I think if there was an Olympics category for the fastest computer unpacking and set-up, I would win. One would think I set up computers all the time with how quick I did it. XD I wanted the patch so bad.

Very cash money of Larian to add forehead kisses and new camp animations. And Astarion's epilogue title 🥺 hits right in the meow meow, I can't wait to get it in my own game.

While it was downloading though, I thought I'd distract myself by sculpting in Blender (wifi is being finicky right now so I figured it'd take quite a while) and only minutes ago did I snap out of it. I don't know what time the download finished but I ended up with this (I'd say) mostly anatomically correct, not-quite-done skull.

I'd already done one before but Blender glitched and sent that file into the ether. This one, I'm pretty sure, looks better than the old one anyway. Would have been cool to compare the two though. Some parts still need a lot of work, like the eye sockets and nasal cavity, but I'll get back to it once I get the new patch out of my system. XD

I had FULL confidence in you, BG. You get the gold 🥇I've just downloaded the patch today, but I didn't get around to playing it. I've had an incredibly stressful week and I spent most of the weekend thus far sleeping or crafting.

(I won't bring the vibe down by going into too much detail, but I was at the parade/rally in Kansas City and was near the mass shooting this Wednesday. Thankfully, neither my mom or I were hurt. It was incredibly chaotic and I'm still...kind of processing what happened. But! I'm here and still trucking along so I'm very grateful for that.)

So yeah I haven't had the pleasure of the new smooches yet, but I think I'll boot it up tomorrow and play a little bit. Larian knows what the people want. I hope they pad Wyll out a little bit more, too. I think he's neat and needs some love and content.

I have always wanted to learn Blender! Do you like it? I have a 3D printer (my crafting project right now is actually a set of mandalorian armor I'm printing myself!) and usually use other people's stl files and such but I'd like to learn how to make my own files, too. I think, as an owner of many skulls, your skull looks great.

I've found when a computer eats the first draft of something, the second one is almost always better. It is nice to compare though. I'd like to get an imitation human skull (cause the ethics of real human skulls...are varied) and place this fancy marble in the eye socket 😅 it glows under a black light and it needs a cool home to rest in.

Dear Twwk, I'm the anon asking your opinion about Maruyama's comments. Thank you so much for giving your thoughts. I agree with you that a lot of anime I see coming out currently comes across as "blah" to me, but I know everyone has different tastes as well, so I try to make sure I'm not just considering an anime "average" just because it's not my taste instead of it actually being "low quality content". For example, I may view isekai anime as "blah" because it's not my personal taste, but that doesn't mean the anime is "blah" or that's it's low quality--it just may not be my taste. However, I will say that the last few anime seasons have had both hidden gems and "blahs" for me. I'm always behind on my anime watchlist because of life in general and my health (I have chronic migraine), but I noticed the last few seasons, I've been picking up fewer new titles and watching more anime continuations (MHA, Demon Slayer, etc.). I do believe though, like you said, there are many anime out there still bringing new levels of creativity to the table. I would be fine honestly with fewer anime to choose from in the upcoming seasons if the animators were treated really well and were thus able to produce more high quality work on fewer anime because they had more time and energy to concentrate on fewer projects. Of course, they still have to finish our popular continuing series like Demon Slayer, MHA, etc.!! :) thanks again and thanks also for listening to my ramble. You already know that I rarely write about my thoughts on Twitter (X) and even less on tumblr, but lately I've been thinking a lot about the "artistic" aspects of my life.

Final Fantasy VIII has always been and always will be my comfort place. When I play it or write/draw about it I feel good because it's something I love and, in many ways, what defined me as a person in this world. That’s s the reason why I created this account.

Finally, after many years, I began to feel truly comfortable with social networks and with sharing my works online. Mostly thanks to you, my followers. You are few, but you are wonderful.

And yet, I feel a little frustrated (artistically speaking).

I don't feel "bad", in the strict sense of the word, because I’m aware of my own situation. Between work and the baby, I barely have time to draw and I have no choice but to invest practically 100% of that short time in the commissions. I wish I could have more time to invest in my FFVIII drawings or my own projects not related to that game. The list of ideas grows and grows and grows but I can never cross anything off.

I imagine that those of you who read my tweets already know that I have started and/or mentioned several projects and ideas to share on this account (and in the NSFW account) and that either I have not finished or, directly, I have not even been able to start. So, after much reflection, I have come to a conclusion.

At this point in my life I should not become obsessed with advancing and developing projects (Basically because it is becoming impossible for me XD) so I have to redirect my creative energies in another way.

Therefore, I have decided that, from now on, I am going to focus on practicing and improving, drawing more loosely, making a lot of sketches, instead of trying to make a final illustration. I will practice anatomy and, if my abilities allow, backgrounds. Maybe it's not as interesting as a full illustration (?) but I feel like right now it's the best decision I can make to not get stuck and frustrated.

With this I hope to improve and learn so that in the future I can be able to bring you higher quality FFVIII drawings.

All this does not mean that I will stop making commissions. Quite the opposite (diapers don't pay for themselves XD).

I hope this decision does not disappoint you. I will try to make the sketches as interesting as possible for you and, of course, they are gonna be of FFVIII. I still have drawings left to share here on Tumblr, but… you get the idea.

Awww yeah, until today life was okay-ish kind to me, but today was just awesome!

I‘m like, ‘undiagnose me, I don‘t have depression’ happy (which means that I’ll feel terrible in like three days. But I’m very willing to ride that high until it ends xD)

Since a few days, I’ve been working on a big project (ghoul OC stuff is about as much as I can say right now), and that‘s been giving me quite a dopamine kick.

Today I met up with friends that I usually see very often but haven’t seen in over 5 weeks, which was very nice. We also met a one of the friend‘s (and she has cats. I fucking love cats).

So I also got to cuddle two cats. One of them has the softest fur I’ve ever felt. (I‘m sorry to my friends because I was constantly getting distracted by the cats, but I think they were just glad to see that I was smiling xD)

And then one of my closest friends finally texted back again. They also saw ghost a while back and specifically recorded videos/took pics so they could send them to me, which is just the cutest thing ever. (They also let me give them a nice explanation on who what ghoul is, what their element is, where they are positioned on stage…). So I basked in my memories of ghost too and got very excited for what they saw

I could‘ve made this short by saying my day was great, but I’m happy and being happy makes me even more talkative than I usually am. So sorry about that /g

Yeah, it not being all the things you wanted to get done (even if the goal was totally impossible to achieve) is a very good explanation for that feeling.

That with ghost and family sounds awesome! As I’ve mentioned, I got to bask in memories and videos of ghost live again today, which was just absolutely awesome.

Yeah, it absolutely is! Making all of those patches and sewing them on took many many hours of work, and I’m so excited to then finally finish it and be able to wear it (I’m a bit scared of the last part, but I think it‘ll turn out at least fine (or hopefully even great)

I am MANY days late to this, but I'M SO GLAD YOU HAD A GOOD DAY. I hope that things are still good! I'm feeling the post concert/vacation depression REAL BAD today. But that just means I had a really great time and I'm so fucking grateful for that! Can't wait to stop feeling sad that I can't just live at a concert on repeat, and just be ecstatic that they were both SO incredible. I'm so excited about your vest too! It's going to be so cool when it's done, and you can wear it all the time! I'm sure it will look great! ♥♥♥♥
