this gonna flop but anyway, have some drawings with low effort sketch expressions
Meet the Cool Ranch!
Luzia Lamb:
- german
- goat/dragon hybrid
-don't ask how this is possible, even she doesn't know
-knows how to knit and sew
-please don't call her a sheep, she'll beat you up
-plays the accordeon
-hates her name, prefers being called Luz
- is arrogant, proud, stubborn, short tempered, and a cheapskate
-has difficulty to express her feelings because she hates showing vulnerability
-hates being alone yet doesn't want to get attached
-basically an Asuka kinnie
-has pyrokinesis and is almost as fast as Sonic when flying
-talking about him, they were childhood friends but lost contact over the years
-also she saved him once when a kid and she boasts about it so much–
Toffee the dog:
-a german shepherd who's also a german
-Luz's housemate and bestfriend
-the two of them own a shop
-plays the guitar
-is kind, golden hearted, protective and caring towards his friends
-"happy-go-lucky" kinda guy yet realistic
-ironically enough he can be sarcastic and sassy as hell
-he's a great listener too
-he'll try to give good advices but won't guarantee it
-he's strong
-like very strong
-not like Knuckles but still
-gentle giant basically
Ella and Stella the chicken:
-twin sisters
-they surprisingly get along well with eachother
-Ella is an outgoing and positive person while Stella is more reclusive and realistic than her sister
-both are farmers but Stella sometimes sells flowers
-Stella knows how to make flower crowns and give them to the group
-Ella collects bugs and has pet ants
-she's not a morning person at all
-Ella probably has a crush on Toffee
-Stella is a hopeless romantic tho
Spring the ocelot:
-his real name is Zack but shhh-
-the youngest of the group
-he's an adrenaline junkie, energetic and has a short attention span
-gets hurt a lot because of this, hence why he always have a band-aid on him
-the true happy-go-lucky of the group
-sees Luz as a older sister and role model
-he thinks she's cool because she's different yet doesn't care about what people think (oh boy he's so wrong)

i have lots of respect for digital artists but i fuckin hate when some of yall disrespect physical artists
imo you cant digitally make a gouche, watercolor, oil, acrylic painting only smthn that looks like it and thats not bad but thats also not what every art buyer wants, so pls respect the centuries of physical artists that paved the way for your digital programs c:
and it makes me upset when like they spend 0 time actually learning and appreciating actual painting, the time it takes, the water, brushes, grab and weight of the paper, the patience, it will always have so much meaning to me
im always more inclined to buy physical art mostly originals, because theres only 1 no digital copy, no same art print hanging in someones house, no same two pieces
i love seeing and feeling the brush strokes on paintings! i love holding originals and knowing the artists touched this, they let me buy their only one. like dont get me wrong i do love art prints and i have/used to sell my photography prints, but for me i feel my value most when i make original paintings. theres nothing like the feel of mixing paints, theres nothing like taking physical strokes and seeing light reflect off, theres nothing like feeling your canvas/paper/wood/surface, theres nothing like the physical and the ease of change
and i think thats why i never really missed digitally drawing, its rigid, having to constantly change colors, brush sizes/types, having special tools just to gradient, fucking layers OMGG I HATE, like nahhh give me some gouche n colored pencils hoe and i will see u in 10 hrs

Artists, download the app Palette Cam!
With palette cam, you can find the exact hue of things you’ve seen irl and of screenshots online. I tested it to see if the app recognized my theme color, and it did exactly!
It knew!
And here it’s telling me the shade of a flower I took a pic of outside!
You can even combine images and make a color palette (this is a palette of my phone case, my skin pigment bc I was trying to get my nail color but hit my hand and went with it, and the grey and black on this sweater)
I don’t really know if it’s 100 percent accurate for photos taken that aren’t images saved online. It’s probably a bit imperfect in regards to real life pictures just due to lighting. But it did match the digital image for my tumblr theme exactly! I just think this might be a cool tool for some people.
It also saves the colors and color palettes you saved. And it can get super close up when finding a shade
It’s probably rly good for wanting to match the shades of fanart you like/canon art if you want your fanart to match. Or for people who decorate and paint.
I’m sure I’ve seen already seen tools that do this like digitally for screenshots, but this is the first I’ve found for finding the hues of any live photos you take.
I leave with this meme I made into a palette
