Senjuro is managing with his crush but has to keep it to himself. He thinks about it/you 24/7 and it becomes such a hinderance to his everyday life. The best type of hinderance as everytime he is alone with his thoughts, that train drifts into scenarios or images of you

Senjuro always really likes it when you come over to visit him. Being the friendly girl you are, you try cheer him up from his grieving and try encourage him to continue with Kyojuro’s inspirational quotes. Senjuro can’t help but admire your face as you speak, your voice is so pretty too…

Senjuro cooks you personal dishes that he believes you’ll like, everytime he is alerted that you’ll heading over for a hangout visit. He can’t impress you with battle skills but he can woo you over with amazing food. In which you praise each time, those praises stick with him for weeks on end

Senjuro is a darling person, all the way down to his soul. He will never be rude towards you, this fact is elevated with his crush on you. He is so polite and considerate, you are curious if he is trying to make up for something he did. He hopes he doesn’t seem creepy and worries about it sometimes

Senjuro, like Kyojuro, has a cute and harmless habit of gawking lovestruck. He just watches you with love overflowing his gorgeous flame-coloured eyes as he is so proud of himself that you appreciate something he gave to you. You actually like him! He almost can’t believe it but he latches onto it

Senjuro really badly wants to tell you. He has many things holding him back from spilling his intense swelling feelings for you to your face as you sat and chat with Tengen; your potential reaction, the fact it could ruin his close friendship to you and Tengen’s reaction

Won’t deny, Senjuro gets jealous of how much time you dedicate to Tengen but then again. He knows Tengen is definitely not a love rival nor keeping you away, but he wishes you’d give him as much attention as you give your older brother

God, there's so much to talk about. I have to restrain myself from just endlessly talking about how much I love Klein Moretti rn. Like. So much. I will definitely be sprinkling my love for him in this post. A lot. I'll do that a lot.

OK, FOR A THOROUGH DISCUSSION, I'll pick up the chat from the ending of volume 5. Which means I'll talk about like... 20 chapters? Hm. They definitely felt more than 20 in number.

Amon kidnapped Klein after Klein successfully destroyed King George III's ritual, so he was exhausted and spent. Perfect opportunity for Amon, ngl.

The subsequent time spent together was full of ups and downs. Amon gave Klein hope that was barely in his reach until BOOM the reveal that it wasn't an avatar, but the actual true body! Man, wasn't that stressful.

That also came with the realization that Amon can't bear the risk of stealing Klein's destiny just like that. Win! For now...

We reach the destination that Amon was going for (in the Forsaken Land of the Gods, btw!! God, what a crazy place...) and there, ANOTHER motherfucking bomb gets left at our door.

Fucking Chernobyl. Fucking- it's Earth! It's always been Earth!

(That was spoiled in a partial manner to me. Like, I saw someone mention "Chernobyl" in relation to LOTM and I was like "wait what? No way- AH, NO THINKING ABOUT IT. IT'S SPOILERS" but inevitably I connected some dots.

Like, I distinctly remember how Roselle attempted to bring forth the industrial revolution, but when he searched for oil and such fuels, he was unsuccessful. Which made me think about the Chernobyl thing and wonder if the previous humans used it all up and eventually perished, but then another civilization rose and that's the present.

But uh. I didn't know about the fact that the ancestors of vampires and elves are ALSO humans?? Like wow. Incredible)

Paired with that comes the realization that Klein can't go home. Technically, he IS home. Just... not in his era :') AGH I cried. ESPECIALLY when he conjured the silhouettes of people dear to him that have long since perished. IT WAS SO SAD WBSJJDJD Man...

After that dreadful discovery, Klein doesn't let that stop his desire to escape Amon, implementing Another escape attempt, helped by the Evernight Goddess. Gosh, his escape attempts were so creative! And the interactions between him and Amon were so funny after them too lmao

Anyway, after Chernobyl, Klein digested the Scholar of Yore potion successfully AND escaped to Sefirah Castle after committing suicide (what an ODD way to escape).

And next, we have Klein thinking of ways to get back on his feet AND analyze his experiences. Which brings us to the NEXT big thing!

The third "transmigrator" is in fact the Evernight Goddess!

Still! She's taking such good care of Klein <33 what a lovely lady <33

During the Tarot Club, he put in motion his plans: collecting what he needs for the Miracle Invoker potion and strengthening the Tarot Club.

And thanks to the combined effort of Pallez, Derrick and himself of course, he successfully revived in the City of Silver and ran away! Yay!

That's where I am right now. But Man, the road to getting here was emotional.

Poor Klein... hunted from so many directions, no home to return to, friends and family to protect.

And let's not ignore the fact that Klein successfully escaped Amon!!! I mean, SURE, Amon was "playing" with him in a way. But that doesn't mean he wasn't taking Klein seriously, he just had a different goal than killing Klein, which was to take ownership of Sefirah Castle.

Klein is so resourceful, so determined, so intelligent. I adore himmm! Ahhhh and sometimes, he makes me sad, but he keeps going and that's just... hah... admirable.

Praise the Fool! Can't wait to read more, but definitely not tonight. Finally reached a point where I can close the book with a light heart, I'm not risking starting another stressful arc hahahah...

yeah! i went back and forth on this for a while but i think i've settled on it being congenital, partly to make him more immediately readable as a headcanon gaster but also because i think it’s interesting to consider as part of his character. he can only see out of his left eye, the right socket is basically fused at a seam. i see it as one thing among a number of traits that he’s sort of had to learn ways around in order to function relatively "normally" (or at least in the ways he thinks he's supposed to be able to function).

aside from the impacts of disability, it also halves the amount of expression that can be communicated through his eyes, and kind of gives this visual impression that he’s perpetually winking, which i think adds an interesting layer of difficulty to accurate expression of emotion/intent. i think he’s self-conscious about how he looks and worries that it disgusts people.

i got onto some tangents lol but here are some more headcanon character notes. i love talking about this guy so thanks for asking!!!

in my mind a lot of his personal challenges revolve around like, trying to Fit In to a world (both materially and socially constructed) that isn’t really made for him in a lot of ways. it assumes a ton of things that simply can never be true of him — right-handedness, average height, effortless verbalization, abled eyesight and depth perception, unconscious eye contact and facial expressiveness, etc.

not that my gaster is never unconsciously & genuinely expressive — he doesn’t show his heart on his sleeve like papyrus, but he’s not nearly as stiff as sans, either. the difference with sans is that he has natural conversational grace; he’s effortlessly warm, spontaneous, funny. he reads people well and generally has good social intuition. he isn’t necessarily suave or cool so much as he knows how to navigate interpersonally in a way that makes him immensely likable to most people (the fact that he Isn’t suave or cool actually contributes to that— it makes him non-threatening and approachable). sans is generally pretty skilled at manipulating others' perceptions/reception of him.

papyrus, for his part, is constantly missing social cues and acting outside of social scripts, which doesn’t lend itself to… popularity or general likability… but he’s so obviously sincere about who he is and what he’s feeling that he’s still like, intelligible. papyrus’s perspectives are easy to know even if they’re weird as hell in-context. he isn’t great at achieving his desires for likability but he's also willing to be seen (in UT at least, maybe less so in DR) in his imperfect effort.

my gaster is like. weirdness of perspective filtered through a certain amount of learned sociability. he knows how to socialize in theory and understands the value of it, but his social skills aren't intuitive, they take effort, especially verbally, and he has a history of miscalculation, so he tends to either be on a "script" or just like. stalled/processing until he can get back on track lol. and in either case it tends to be hard to get a read on what’s actually happening with him internally. unlike sans or papyrus, he can be quite suave and elegant, but he also lacks their flexibility and fundamental confidence and is just. kind of fragile. like papyrus, he wants to be liked, but unlike papyrus he’s far more motivated by a fear of being disliked. i think he’d rather go unnoticed than risk being perceived badly.

he can loosen up to varying degrees depending on the context (ex. he can be relatively gregarious and even warm when he's in Teacher Mode or with a close friend) but i think the general impression this has on other characters is that he’s aloof, mysterious, unapproachable, even kind of intimidating. he can be charming and pleasant but he doesn't come off as particularly, idk, trustworthy?

like, the dude’s pretty freaking tall, he tends to dress sharply, he’s even fairly handsome, but in a way that's uncanny and feels kind of Wrong. he’s obviously wickedly book-smart and seems high-brow and cultured, like he's never heard a pop song in his life. in casual conversation he’s either silent or delivering stilted academic diction in a low, quiet monotone. he speaks haltingly and deliberately, with weird prosody, and his two main expressions are Blank Stare and Unnerving Smile. his vibes come off as calculating and performative — which is technically true, but not for the reasons others tend to assume. he isn’t thinking about how to one-up them or about how stupid they must be. he’s studying them both out of sincere fascination and to understand social patterns and validate them empirically.

i seem him as the kind of guy who actively enjoys being around people even if he struggles to be involved with them. he’s the guy who will stand awkwardly just outside of a conversation to listen but won’t actually muscle his way into the circle until invited in, and once he's in there he just looks uncomfortable and often has to have conversation dragged out of him when all he really wanted was to observe.

i like to think part of why he’s able to be close friends with alphys is that she meets this stoic-seeming IRL Tumblr Sexyman with an unintelligible uboa face and she’s like "well this guy will never in a million years be interested in me Like That" and any nervous crush impulses she might have had are so completely overridden that she’s just. normal around him. he likes listening and she likes to talk so she infodumps overeagerly about cartoons while he sits there quietly staring with genuine curiosity lol

Okay so Near ngl kinda interested to explain my thoughts

Okay okay I'm gonna explain

So like first anime watch through

Didn't care much for him

Totally get why people get the feeling he was meant to be like L in a different font because it really do feel like that ngl

But BUT BUT

Only to an extent. I will explain.

So I read the 2020 death note oneshot, okay. Up to this point, I didn't really care much for him. I shipped him with people but I didn't have a particular attachment.

And then I learned that older Near with long ass hair is canon. CANON.

PLEASE I AM MCFREAKING OBSESSED

NOT MUCH CARE FOR HIM AT ALL UNTIL I CONTRACTED GENDER ENVY

And then and then it got better

Because this oneshot also made me realize that he was deeper than I thought. Like in this oneshot my man does decide to sit back while also working things out and technically loses even though he wasn't planning on catching Minoru in the first place but to see how he's trying to act like L and do what he would do but to ALSO see him genuinely interested in a person (referring to a-kira/tanaka) and this case and to have positive feelings and smile when you KNOW it's been 10 years since the end of the og story and many of the people he cared about most have been dead. And I also put emphasis on the case interest because it's not as if he wasn't interested in the og kira case, it was just clearly more about being L's successor and his relationship with Mello and succeeding in general for him. Like Light felt like a bystander on the side of his and Mello's story and history to me. Light was invested as far as not being caught and as far as he likened this to dealing with L again. Near was invested as far as solving the case and either competing with or trying to work together with Mello. But in the oneshot Near is interested in the A-Kira case for the sake of it! He cannot arrest Tanaka, he knows. Tanaka hasn't done anything illegal. So Near tells everyone he will not be investigating and taking down A-Kira, but he is invested on trying to see if he can figure out who A-Kira is or try to intercept the death note and he ends up failing and YET along the way he is just fascinated like this has more substance than what he had going with trying to catch Light and thus he just FELT more interesting because of this

And now that I've been rewatching post L's death more than once, I've gotten a better appreciation of his character

He twirls strands of his hair around a finger and fidgets with it and is always doing something with his hands like building something or putting something together or playing with something and my brain says "he just like me FR"

He's said to be able to solve cases better because he doesn't bring emotions into things, in opposition to Mello, who's got more of a temper on him and even agrees with this and yet

It's true to an extent, but what's also true is that Mello is part of the Mafia and can steal and murder and take ransom and do anything it takes to find his information and win, but Near lies about having Mello's picture and knowing stuff about him (before he even thinks Light is Kira I think??) and basically makes it clear he had his team trying to find him on the side and let him go even AFTER Mello killed most of his team and held he and his remaining team members ar gunpoint and wanted from the beginning to work together with Mello like sure, he's good at solving puzzles and removing his feelings out of the matter (at least seemingly) but clearly when faced with personal interest he is at least a little biased

Like GOD he actually is deeper than I thought and than he seemed at first glance

It brings it even more to Light that the Whammy kids care about the goal and don't actually have what we would say is a usual idea of ethics. Their "morals" are based upon what L would and would not do in conjuction with what it takes to solve a case and win

He cares about his childhood rival so much and never really wanted to be rivals in the first place but also when his rival actually stands on the same level as him and they agree to compete he loves it and he's just trying to live up to L’s legacy and title and be like him but also as he gets older he gets to be more of himself and he's nerodivergent and then he gets older and makes me wanna brush his hair and run my fingers through it and make me wanna kiss him and give him a bath and make him go to bed and tuck him in and buy him model kits while simultaneously having BAD gender envy (god what a personal character design win that caters to me) but now honestly in his first appearance with his button up and his sense of outer childishness but just the him he's also just so cute like

God he's not my fav but maybe

I only pretty recently posted on here about selfshipping with Ari/Arminius and his son Gaius! I have seperate s/i's for them tho (actually I have two for Ari cause... I love himmm)

They're from the show Barbaren, which is about the Battle of the Teutoburg forest and well... Arminius, which is a topic VERY VERY dear to me, it's been a huge interest since I was a child.

I have very conflicting emotions on Ari tho, I'm extremely attached to him but every time I actually watch the show I can't stop thinking "oh god wtf are you doinggggg"

I also just... LOVE roman armor and he looks so good in it <3 I am a simple man with a weak mind

7. If you could choose one f/o to be with you RIGHT NOW who would it be, and why?

CHASE, oh god I love my husband sososososo much TwT And I have been thinking about him nonstop, especially today. I can't even put on a jacket without thinking about how the warmth makes me yearn for a hug from him.

8. How closely do you identify with/as your s/ i's, if you have any?

Usually pretty closely, in many cases s/i's are just our sources! I would like to... get closer tho? It's somewhat odd to describe. I don't see much of a difference between me and my s/i's but often they lack the parts about myself I hate the most so I end up drifting from them again in terms of identification.

I'd say I identify as my s/i's, I just struggle with the obvious, everlasting curtain between reality and fiction.

19. Do you have an AU where multiple f/o's from different sources exist together? Tell us about it!

I keep wanting to work on one but I just can't! I have so much love for all my f/o's I think if I had to be with multiple of them at once I'd despair trying to share my love.

3.5/5 - he’s so funny oh my god. The way he talks is absolutely hilarious like I half expect him to just yell at the top of his lungs but he has such a low quiet voice like dude just go feral I know you want to. He’s so weird too, it’s so funny to me that they just made him into some weirdo really hellbent on being a vigilante. Not my favorite but god he’s funny

4/5 - Love this guy!!! He’s really fun but also clearly heartfelt and passionate. I love that he’s kind of a himbo, but has good intentions at all times. I like that they took on a more brotherly role with his character in this version, especially since he is an adult, it feels really natural. Also his Brooklyn accent is great, he’s just great.

5/5 - MY ENTIRE SON!!!!! Okay look I love him, he’s such a damn good character. I think he perfectly balanced out the friendship with the turtles, as well as the same amateur vigilante the others had, while also being able to be the same age as the turtles and have it all come together very nicely. He has that great dorky personality and he’s plenty skilled even without the turtles help. I also think he just has that really big heart that gets overlooked a lot, but he really does care about his friends and you can tell. He’s just the perfect Casey in my eyes I will not apologize for this :)

3/5 - I LOVE HERRR but I think as a Casey Jones, she’s not the best one per say. I love that she retains the crazy, overzealous energy as the 80s version, and the twist to make her a member of the Foot was really fun and interesting, I didn’t see it coming! I also like that she does have actual interpersonal conflict about her morality, and you get the feeling that she’s a good person in a weird position potentially because that’s how she was raised. But since we go the whole series not knowing she’s Casey, and a lot of the core elements of Casey Jones is lost on her because of that, I don’t think she’s the best Casey Jones. But as a character? She’s wonderful and I adore her!!

Rise (Casey Jr.)

4/5 - MY BELOVED BOY!!!!!!!! HAVE I EVER MENTIONED HOW MUCH I ADORE HIMMM!!!! So like, I think this Casey has a lot of the same shortcomings as Cassandra, in that the role being played isn’t as reminiscent of past Casey Jones versions. BUT this version is explicitly Casey Jones in the entire movie, and a lot of what he does is very similar to the versions before him (not that he needs to be but yk). He’s very heartfelt and emotion driven like the others, but he’s far from a pushover and isn’t afraid to snap if he needs to. I think it’s interesting that they flipped the older brother relationship 2k3 had with the turtles by making Casey the younger person in the situation who looks up to the turtles, which hasn’t been done in the series yet. But, like all Casey Jones before him, he fits in perfectly with the turtles, and is a really great character that I adored. I also like how they fit the hockey player vibe into his design, that was really fun :)

In short!!! I love all Casey Jones and they’re all my beloved little guys :)

(Also please pretend that they understand sickness much more than they really did back then, suspend your disbelief please lmao)

Quinn wasnt sure who had their hands on them. Pasha said they were a doctor.. but this didnt.. feel like a doctor. They felt cold and distant, like they would pass right through their body. Was Quinn dreaming? Who knows.. certainly not them. They couldn't see anyone, everything was hazy and purple. Like the gates between realms. Like they were looking through fog.

A voice. Felt like nails on a chalkboard. "They're definitely sick with a bad cold. It should pass soon, just have them sleep through it."

"Are you sure? I've had the sniffles before but Quinn seems totally out of it." A twinkling star spoke next. Very bright in a comfy way.

"Yes yes, I'm sure. Everything will be fine if you just let them rest. Now.. give them this tea every few hours and have them sleep as much as possible. The fever should go down soon as well."

Pasha nodded, taking the small box of loose tea from the doctor. "Alright.. Thank you, doctor." She watched as they left, before turning to Quinn, who, to be honest, looked high as a cloud. Glossy eyes red from tears and breathing irregular...

This certainly didnt feel like a cold, Quinn thought. In fact they were very very... very hot.

"Dont worry Quinn. I'll make sure you get better!" Pasha was never good at lying, but this felt nearly convincing. "Who needs him anyway?"

Him? Oh right. Right him. Himmm...

"What about him?"

Oh. Did they say that out loud?

"Miss him.."

Pasha sighed. "Yeah.. I get it. But.. if he really did hurt you like that..." she shook her head. It still felt too.. insane. Julian would never hurt someone he loved so much like that.

"I want.." what did they want? They didnt have a chance to think about it before a noise brought them from the misty purple haze in their head and into.. what was probably the real world.

Julian practically ripped the door off its hinges as he ran inside, clutching onto Quinn's abandoned walking cane. "Pasha! Pasha have you seen Quinn, they're incredibly sick and vulnerable, I need-"

He was cut off by a very loud slap to the cheek. "Ilyushka Devorak! You- you.... do you have any idea how much grief you've put poor Quinn through! You have a lot of nerve showing up here looking for them!"

Julian looked absolutely lost. "I.. what?"

"How long have you been cheating on Quinn?"

Something snapped in Julian's brain. "What??? Is that what Mazelinka meant? I have no idea what you're talking about." He moved closer to the couch where Quinn was currently counting every whisker on Pepi who was perched on their chest.

Portia stopped him. "Well... well Quinn said-"

"Quinn is quite obviously delirious!" He gestured to his spouse. "So let me take them home."

Portia shook her head a little. "Now I'm confused.." she looked between them.

"Pasha..." Julian's face and voice softened. "Do you really think so lowly of me? That I would hurt Quinn like that?"

She didnt even have to think about it. "No... no I don't..."

"Please... let me take them home.. I didnt even know they were back so soon, Asra came by earlier asking how they were and I had no idea what he meant.. I've been running everywhere looking for them."

She quietly stepped out of the way, letting Julian come closer.

"Quinn.. darling.. how are you feeling?" He gently reached a hand down and pressed his palm against their forehead. "Very bad fever.." he mumbled, switching to doctor mode in his head. "Quinn can you hear me?"

Huh..? Oh yes. You have a very pretty voice, I like it.

"Um.. thank you darling.." he mumbled, taken aback slightly.

Oh.. must've said that out loud. "Who are you?" They look familiar... red hair.. pale.. mm.. very handsome.. oh no Quinn, dont talk like that. You have a husband.

"Do.. you not recognize me?" He moved and picked Quinn up princess style, letting Pepi hop down.

"No.. who are you? I like you. You're warm."

"Um.. I'm.." he bit his lip slightly. "Ian..?"

"Really? Ian is the best you could do?"

He snapped a look at his sister before turning to leave. "I'm gonna bring you back to the clinic, Quinn. You're much worse than I thought.." he turned to Portia. "Thank you.. Pasha.."

She nodded. "I had a doctor down.. he said they had a cold.."

Julian almost did a double take, many emotions flashing across his face in 2 seconds. "He.. said they had a cold??? That makes no sense! They're practically brain dead from the fever!" He took a deep breath, calming himself quickly. "Sorry. Snapping isn't gonna help.." he sighed. "I'll explain later when Quinn is better, I think I know what they saw.."

Portia nodded, letting Julian walk off back to the clinic. She was going to have a word with that doctor if she ever saw him again..

This is the writing I did for @starker-valentines. @lokitonypeter asked for Tony thinking Peter forgot Valentine's Day but Peter didn't and their second prompt was Peter proposing to Tony. I sorta mixed them both for them.

Is Tony upset his Peter forgot about Valentine’s Day? No. Why? Well first off Tony doesn’t really care much for Valentine’s Day in the first place, second, Peter tends to forget small holidays like this. Last year he forgot Easter was a thing. So basically Tony really had no reason to be upset with his love.

The thing that did bother him though is that he hasn’t seen Peter anywhere at the college campus. This is very strange because they had an art class this morning and a math class but Peter never showed up for either. Now it was late in the day and starting to get dark which makes Tony think that maybe Peter is sick? He hasn’t sent any text to Tony letting him know. Also, Tony made plans for them to Netflix and chill after their long day.

That’s the only thing that truly worries Tony, is the lack of communication between Peter and him today.

As he walks around the campus he grabs a quick smoothie. He would’ve gotten one for Peter too if he were here right now, but he’s not. Tony continues to walk until he sees one of Peter’s friends, Ned. he runs up to him, smoothie splashing around in its cup in his hand, and he calls out to Ned.

“Dude, have you see Peter at all today? He hasn’t called me or texted me and I’m getting slightly worried about him”, Tony asks Ned in a rush. He glances down at Ned’s hand and notices all the textbooks that he’s carrying. It’s ridiculous for Ned to even be walking with so many books in his hands.

“Oh, Peter? No haven’t seen hiMMM-”, Ned somehow manages to trip over his own feet and fall to the ground. Tony tried to help catch him but was too slow. All of Ned’s papers and books fly to the ground and display themselves in a scattered matter. Tony stretches his hand out for Ned and he gladly takes the offer for help.

“Here, I’ll help ya with this mess.” Tony and Ned both lean down and start grabbing everything. They pick up new worksheets, old worksheets, new textbooks, very old textbooks that are probably older than him. Then Tony picks up a book that doesn’t seem like it belongs int the pile. The cover shows the big green lady, better known as the Statue of Liberty.

“What class is this for? You don’t like learning about statues and boring history.” Tony smiles at the other kid and hands him the book. Ned thanks him and takes it, this time pushing all of his mess into his backpack instead of keeping it in his arms.

“Oh, it’s nothing. I just wanted to get caught up on New York and such.” Ned looks over at Tony and shrugs his shoulders.

Tony grins and looks up at the sky, nodding his head, before looking back down at Ned. “This is like a really weird thing to just mention but did you know that Peter and I actually met at the Statue of Liberty? We were both of highschool class trips and somehow we both walked away from all the big crowds and managed to talk by a couple of trees near the water. I think we laughed and talked for hours if I’m honest with ya.”

“Dude, Peter used to never stop talking about you! Every day he always had something to say about you or weird facts about the statue. I couldn’t get him to stop!” Ned smiles at Tony but then a worried look crosses his face. “Oh no! I’m gonna be late for class! Sorry about not knowing where Peter is! Hope you have luck finding him.” After that Ned runs off, a backpack full of books and all.

Even though that conversation was good and it brought up lovely memories, Tony still is determined to find Peter. As he walks to his dorm he pulls his phone from his pocket and dials up Peter’s Aunt May. Aunt May immediately answers the phone with a cheery voice.

“Oh hey, Tony! Whatcha need kiddo?”, Aunt May asks nicely. Tony honest to god loves May. She reminds him so much of his mother and he loves his mother to the moon and back.

“Hey May I was just wondering if you’ve heard from Peter at all today. I haven’t been able to get ahold of him. It’s really starting to worry me.” Tony sees the stairs to his dorm and quickens his pace. He wants to check Peter’s room before assuming anything bad has happened to him. No need to start freaking out if Peter is just being an asshole playing video games in bed.

“No I sorry honey. I haven’t heard from him at all. Maybe he’s still getting ready.” Through the phone, May sounds like she’s walking around and that other people are in the room with her.

“What do you mean that he might be getting ready?” Tony doesn’t understand at all what that could mean. Is she saying that Peter might have slept in and is just now getting ready? Or is she implying something different?

“Oh it’s nothing dear. Nothing to worry about at least. He’d be ready by now. Knowing Peter, he’s never late.”

“But May he never showed up to class today. In any of them actually.”

“No not class, silly.” May giggles from the other side of the phone.

Tony finds it weird that she doesn’t go more in-depth with her strange guess but pushes it off because he doesn’t need any more confusion right now. Tony opens up the front door to the dorm building and begins to climb up the stairs. He says hi to a couple of his buddies like Rhodey and Steve who seem to be in rushes as they both run down the stairs. He continues to talk to May on the phone on his way to Peter’s floor, a feeling of hope coming to him.

“May what are you doing today? Sounds like there are a lot of people with you.” Tony asks curiously about all the noise in the background.

“My friend Amy is getting married soon and she wants me to help her plan the webbing.”

Tony lightly laughs a little, “Don’t you mean wedding, May? You said webbing, not wedding.” He gets to Peter’s room and knocks on the door.

“Yes, that’s what I meant. Sorry dear but I’m gonna have to get off the phone. Call me if you find Peter.” May hangs up leaving Tony with questions.

The door doesn’t open, making Tony worry more. He knocks again, this time harder than the first, thinking that maybe Peter just didn’t hear the first time. Again, no response. He knocks a third time but doesn’t stop until the door swings open to a very pissed off Flash, Peter’s roommate who’s a complete douchebag.

“What the heck do you want? It’s 7 o’clock already.” Flash whisper yells.

“Who sleeps at 7 pm on a Friday?”

Flash rolls his eye annoyingly and points behind him to his tv, “Who said I was sleeping. I’m playing Minecraft right now and you’re literally bothering my game time.”

Tony closes his eyes ad shakes his head. Who plays Minecraft on a Friday, Tony could never understand. Even Peter likes to play games on the weekends when they could be out partying like normal college students. Tony remembers why he’s here and ducks his head in the room. The room is too dark to see anything but the tv screen so he pushes past a protesting Flash and walks over to Peter’s bed.

The bed is neatly made like usual but a small sticky note lays on top of the pillow. Tony takes it and reads it to himself. Flash simply shakes his head and goes back to sitting way too close to his tv screen.

The note in Tony’s hand says, “Hey baby, I need you to meet me at the big torch.” Immediately he knows where to go, folds the note, and sticks it into his front pants pocket. He takes a glance at the other college student and walks out of the room, leaving the door open because he really doesn’t like this Flash guy. He can hear Flash cuss a little bit at him as he walks back down the steps he just walked up not too long ago.

Once he gets outside he touches a button on his wristband with his pointer finger and middle finger, which activates his suit (just assume that he made the suit as a college student). Now with his Iron-Man suit on he pushes off the ground and zooms through the sky. He dodges skyscrapers and hotels as his eyes make contact with the Statue of Liberty.

From a distance, he can make out a blue dot floating next to the statue. He quickly gets nearer to the dot and realizes its Peter who is laying right by a giant web. As he gets closer and can now see what the web says on it. As he read ‘Will You Marry Me?’ in big letters, his heart fills with so many emotions he can’t react.

“Anthony Edward Stark I know we are just in college and that we’ve only been dating for 3 years but will you make me incredibly happy and be my player 2 in the next levels of our life?” Peter swings down to the ground right in front of the massive web and gets on one knee, a giant smile on his face. A silver ring is in between his fingers.

With his suit, Tony lands in front of Peter, the suit going back to its original compartments. Shock covers his face as he stares up at the 4 words above him and then back down his nervous boyfriend.

“So? Will you join our 2 player game?” Peter patiently waits for Tony’s answer still scared he might say no. Tony’s face morphs from shock to a wide excitement. He quickly grabs Peter and picks him up, spinning them around in circles as tears fall from both of their eyes from too much emotion.

“Yes, yes 3000 times yes! I want to be with you for the rest of our lives!” He stops spinning them and his grin doesn’t dissaprear as he pulls Peter close to him. Their lips meet and thats when the fireworks Peter ordered go off. Tony pulls away and watches above him to see red, yellow, and blue fireworks of every shape and size. His lips meet Peter’s again this time with both of them laughing and crying.

“I love you so much, Tony. I’ve been planning this for the past couple of months and i just knew today had to be the day. I knew I would have to skip classes today so I had Ned ask my professors for all the notes.”

Tony thinks about it and how now that makes sense with why Ned had so many textbooks.

“Not to mention that he also had to get the Statue of Liberty in your head today. I bet you mentioned our first time meeting each other because every time someone brings up the statue you also start with that story. Now we have a new story to tell.” Peter smiles at Tony, proud of his smart planning.

“Wait, was your Aunt in on it too?” Tony’s eyes widen, now feeling dumb for not seeing all the subtle signs he’s received all day.

“Yeah, she knew you would call her so she made up a false story. She was actually with me all day which is who you heard over the phone.”

“Was your roommate part of the plan?” Tony cringes as he mentions Flash.

“No, I don’t think anyone told him.” Peter now has a confused look on his face, slightly curious why Tony asked.

“I went to your room and he was playing some video game. I just thought that might have been a clue to your proposal with the whole ‘Player 2’ thing, which by the way was so adorable.” Tony cups Peter’s cheek with his hand. They stare into each other’s eyes, both of them feeling blessed and comfortable.

“You know I love you, right?” Tony asks as he leans in close to Peter and pecking his lips and resting his forehead against Peter’s.

Just watched it and here to post my excitement! ;A; I am so happy and honestly relieved, oh gosh, it’s as faithful to the manga as it could possibly be! (No recaps or filler padding, I’m glad!) :’D No major complaints from me (because my priority right now watching this is to relax on my break from moving). They’ve made plenty of touch ups/edits to the scenes from the pvs, so the visuals back then can’t be fully trusted compared to what they’ve improved on here. (They’ve done as much as they could considering the studio’s lack of exp in action scenes, though we’ll see if it’s ever improved further for the bluray release.) Most importantly, it captures the same spirit and hype we all know and love, but most of all it’s FUN. Ahaha omg I’m so excited for more! Especially after seeing all those teased upcoming clips in the credits. AHHHHH!! I’m on fire. 8’D
