If you have these default tumblr profile pics I want you to know that right now I am still being super diligent in checking profiles before I block them in case they're not bots and just new accs who havent changed their pfps yet, but Soon I will just straight up block anyone with these pfps and assume they're bots

OMG WITHOUT GIVING AWAY ANY SPOILERS WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT DOING PIP IN TIME? 😁😄😃😀
This project has been so much fun, from designing the layouts, figuring out juicy plot points and weaving them into a bigger narrative or just indulging in my wittebane brain rot but thinking about characterization makes me absolutely feral (actual discord message shared above). The show only gives us snippets of who Phillip and Caleb were at this age so there's a lot of room to decide what makes them tick and lead them down the canon path they ended up on. What makes people the way they are, what makes them change, mind games, poor communication, how siblings influence each other and how new environments can enforce or modify thought patterns, how they'd react to the unexpected and why. And it's not like i really overthink every scene like this but when it comes together it's just so satisfying. I may not always be the best at conveying what I have in mind, and it took me a minute (all of chapter 1) to figure out what i wanted to do with Caleb, but thinking about character is the best.

There was this one time, it feels like ages back, when I got followed on tumblr dot com by an actual human being.
#so many damn bots rn i think if i could somehow turn off getting new followers i'd do that for a while just for respite from blocking bots#it doesn't take much time per bot but its so many times a day every day and it's annoying me#and you had a brief moment of “oh someone wants to befriend me!” but then no it's another fuckin bot they don't love me at all :(#also i must have blocked & reported at least one real human by now so leaving everything default is a bad idea for new users#so pls use a FICTIONAL person for your pfp and/or make one (1) post it can be anything just lorem ipsum it if you can't think what to write#the bots now have tumblr-plausible usernames the next evolutionary step is them using fictional white dudes for their profile pics#at which point the tumblr ecosystem will collapse as any and all new users are mass-reported as bots by the existing userbase

I do appreciate it when someone interacts with or includes me in tags or posts or anything of the sort - though I usually don't respond.
I'm not the type to respond publicly often, and I don't have very many mutuals to include in games, but I do grin every time I'm included.
Just wanted to mention that, in case anyone who does include me is worried I'm not responding cuz I'm seething with rage or anything like that haha. No, I'm excited! Just quiet.

At this point I really wish there were a way to stop people from following you or at least block blank blogs because the porn bots are out of control. I'm so tired of blocking so many every fucking day. It's not funny.
I'd hate to bar real people from following me but at the same time if I could shut down that function for a few weeks maybe the bots algortithm would turn to "cannot add. Do not try."
