With that in mind Nico takes after Maria (clearly favoring her appearance) but he isn’t blessed particularly with his family’s powers outside of his father-though he shows talent with Nyx’s and an aptitude for the theories and inner workings on everyone and everything-very curious and has the drive to back it up (a side effect from his momma-can’t back down when you know what you want)

Called the ghost king not because he truly commands them but because they listen to him he just has a way with people when he believes in himself

Loremaster and co leader of the team-stepped down to co leader for his own health-was made leader in the first place when Bianca passed. Is the one who gets the final say over battle plans -though often defers to Reyna to it

Was apprenticed under Hestia for magic- still does apprenticeships under different people in all diff positions-knows everyone

Hazel :

As said w Nico is her family’s legacy. Shows active promise in the earth and magic-true power-though lacks the technical precision she wants-so still is apprenticed under Hecate and studies under her brother and family.

Is 100% the teams powerhouse. Wants to be more in charge with decisions ect but admits she doesn’t always think everything through...and she is a lil young

Not ready to be the face of the team quite yet-knows Jason/Reyna feel uncomfortable filling in for her siblings-it’s not their place but Bianca fell and Nico just couldn’t do it. And she’s..she’s just not ready

Rachel :

her dad got in trouble for some stuff and she started working as a hero-she eventually joined their team-they needed four people. To their surprise when she met the fates something clicked and she now has visions of the future

Feels guilt for not seeing Bianca (who was her gf) fall-not saving her-being there and just..failing-how could she look them in the eyes? She didn’t leave the team (Nico begged her not to) but she just..couldn’t be on the ground anymore. Not again.

She helps as their medic and patches them up when they get back-otherwise she helps Nico w research or works on her visions

She knows Hades blames her-she knows he does. Maybe she is a lil over dedicated to them now but she needs to make it up to them. She knows her guilt messes with her vision but she’ll just learn to live with it-after all at least she gets to learn to live with it.

Worked on a team w Percy and gang but just couldn’t after their breakup and Annabeth being mean to her when Percy and her were dating-it just wasn’t professional-it was effecting their jobs so she has experience

Reyna :

Her and her sister shipwrecked onto the lost island of the Amazon’s. They were blessed with their abilities and trained but while her sister found comfort with them Reyna..she just wanted to go home-wherever that may be. It wasn’t here. More and more people get shipwrecked and she doesn’t think anything of it but eventually it clicks what’s wrong-the women join the island-the rest disappear-she flees with the prisoners at night-taking a ship (she knows her sister kept them from following her-she just knows it)

She starts “New Rome” with the survivors-many of which have no one to return to and keeps up her blessings-to her shock one by one they’re claimed or show signs of gifts and she just knows-at least it was the right thing to do-she does her best to command them-to lead them and ignore every bad feeling she has

She starts a team with Jason, Octavian, and a few others-eventually they’re betrayed and while Octavian faced punishment it doesn’t change the fact that people died and Jason and her are alone again.

Nico’s team helped fight Octavian during his rise to villainy and in the fight Bianca fell-saving them-helping them-the least she’s could do was fill her space.

And she does she doesn’t know it and she can never admit it (she hates herself for even thinking it) but Bianca dying might of been the best thing for her-she found a family, she found a home, Jason is still with her and she has siblings now-Nico just imprinted on her and Hazel thinks she’s the coolest and shes like half sure Rachel has a crush on her-she still is thought highly of-still commands-but it’s different-it’s different when you know they still see you as a person and not an obstacle to get around

She has no powers that help herself but she can boost anyone else’s

She fights with anything and everything

Jason :

While on the run from their father (a highly respected anti meta politician-a meta himself just trying to hold onto power) Thalia manages to get him on a ship heading out-it doesn’t matter where-he cries and screams as Thalia fights and falls distracting their enemies-it doesn’t matter-nothing breaks Thalia’s barriers-and once sound finally comes out he’s far enough away it doesn’t matter

Is saved by Reyna and brought to New Rome-on a mission he is taken by the wolves and while he comes back he’s never the same

Werewolf baby

Had wings like his dad but his father removed them-later on it’ll turn out he didn’t even need them to make him fly (turns out his mother was a meta too)-along with the lightning stuff but doesn’t like using it-makes him sad, mad, scared, he just. Can’t.

That changes as he grows closer to Reyna and Octavian but when Octavian betrays them any words of comfort are just. Hollow and he’s back to square one.

Meeting the new team and attempting to click with them (Hazel didn’t like him at first. Thought he’d be mean to Nico -most guys are) he is starting to get himself again-it isn’t until an incident where he attacks Nico (as a wolf) and Nico forgives him that he realizes oh. They’re a team-and they like him no matter if he hurts them-it happens-and they’ll be there afterwards.

Yes he’s dating Nico they’re werewolves together. They had a life changing mission together and came back besties and Hazel finally stopped oppressing him every five seconds (personally the rest of the team kinda misses that..it was kinda funny)

i think i would love the idea of those cleaners to take wyatt forever, gosh, i hate his storyline so much. at some point i think the season would have better storylines? you know, showing them as sisters, not just as witches, protecting one baby that has issues at age of like what, one? chris' storyline (+bianca) was pretty interesting, but when he died, piper like wasn't very depressed. your son is dead, and leo's broken because of it. hello, show some emotions to the audience.

okay like nothing gets me more than paige’s looks like we didn't lose him after all line at the end of season six and by that i mean i find it like fucking hilarious. like it’s so funny to me. it’s so funny to me that someone penned that, dusted off their hands, and said yep, another satisfying emotional conclusion to a character arc. bruh what??? dude that was okay that was a whole as character like an in the opening credits and everything and he DIED. fuckin stabbed to death faded from existance and died. he was what like a 21 year old whole ass human being living breathing man person who is now Dead. who never gets to go home and see the better world he created or even get to say goodbye to his family bc he’s like too busy bleeding out in the spare bedroom. you don’t get to look at a baby that has the same name as him and say  looks like we didn't lose him after all bc no no u definitely did. that baby is not your neurotic whitelighter who sacrificed himself for you That Is Just A Baby. you will never get the chris you knew back. because he’s dead. he died. he was murdered. like does this mean anything to you??? in regards to everything else in the ask i’ve touched on this previously here but i think the reason we really got such a wyatt centric story really is bc like. like piper’s pregnancy was So There. like it was a thing in season 4 when she couldn’t get pregnant, then it was a thing in s5 when she was pregnant, so i think there was like this notion that now you know the baby has to be like A Thing. that you can’t just tuck him off into nowhere bc we’ve already put like such an emphasis on this kid (sidenote i was trying to think of like any sorta show where like having a kid was like A Big Deal like a whole thing but then was completely forgotten and i think the only thing that comes to mind is legend of korra how there was that whole battle so pema could safely have her baby and then we like never see the baby again lowkey forgot it existed for a couple season But on the flipside pema isn’t really there either. so we can assume she’s caring for like little baby roland or whatever. but like. this can’t quite be pulled off in charmed bc they can’t pema piper. like she’s the lead character she has to be there. meaning we’ve sorta gotta have wyatt there too). i just think it would have been better if we just sorta more softly incorporated wyatt into the show, maybe with like one or two episode that are about him, but beyond that kept it all very y’know like Charmed that way by the time baby chris comes around we don’t have baby burnout and won’t be pissed if they do a couple more episodes centered around a kid. but they did not do that. and we had too many baby wyatt episode. and like no baby chris episodes. and melinda wasn’t even born. bullshit.

Apart from the fact that it is just creepy, it doesn't show up anymore. Instead, on the same page, it just goes back to the normal eyes. It was probably just a creepy factor put into it to make it look more morbid, but sometimes creators have reasons!

Although who would wanna think they died and became a ghost? For people who don't even believe in that stuff, it would be hard to even accept. If you're a ghost, that means you're dead. THANKS FOR CALLING HER OUT CAUSE SHE'S SMALL BIANCA- Well Charlie's design is definitely a lot different than the one in the original! She still looks heckieing red and burned up, but doesn't have that weird mouth like last time.

OH NO OH NO NO NO SAMMY WHAT HAVE U DONE- Charlie is already starting to freak out and that hurts. I love the different reactions we get here because Charlie is just in denial, hoping it is a dream while Daniel doesn't even look like he has proceeded it all fully yet till the next page where he is basically having a complete mental breakdown. I really want to know how Bianca feels about this entire thing too.

THERE IS A LOT I WANT TO TALK ABOUT HERE! For one, it might be one of my favorite pages that really hit me hard to the point of being my emotional mess of a self- I feel as though Bon really portrayed them reacting to being dead rather well? Or at least he did with Daniel and it hit in the feels right enough. Being someone who would die for Daniel, it hurt reading this for the first time because I'm sure we all want to do what Bianca does and just give him a tight hug. Did them freaking out happen in the original? I don't remember actually? from what I remember, Bianca was the one reacting the most to all of it- Bianca just crying over how Daniel is having this mental breakdown really hurt because she wants him to be okay and realizing they aren't would just hurt to the point of actually going and comforting him. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HOW SHE FEELS WITH THE SITUATION- Was her breaking down because of Daniel being all sad mixed with her just reacting to the entire thing?? It's also shown in Chapter 3, but Bianca is really caring towards Daniel and most of the time wants to make him feel better in certain situations. If she wasn't able to save or even help him before, this is her chance now.

FRANCIS IS CRYING AGAIN I REPEAT FRANCIS IS CRYING-

Like I said before, the difference in reactions towards all of this is great. It's obvious that he was emotional about it too, but instead of having some sort of mental breakdown, he just "accepted" it and tried to figure out what they can do. It's understandable cause what else are they supposed to do when in front of reality??

OMG POOR BOYO!! HOW IS HE EVEN STANDING AIAUFIAKF for a while, I just thought his side got slashed and he bled out, nOT THAT HIS ENTIRE SIDE JUST GOT RIPPED OUT LIKE WOW OK THAT MUST HURT LIKE HELL- honestly Francis feeling really sorry about not being able to save Charlie just hurts sm?? THESE KIDDOS FEEL BAD CAUSE THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO SAVE ONE ANOTHER AND IT JUST HHH 

OH NO NOT THIS AGAIN DAMMIT- At least this time it's not coming out of a mouth of a corpse, but jeez Sammy pls chill- I love how the black substance just goes along with the mouth so it looks like the inside of the Puppet's mouth is just oil or some black liquid. Speaking of that, I also love how the blood is black!! I forgot the reason for that, but it gives them a cool look!

Last time, that was shown through some anger from Francis, but this time it's different and that's not shown!! I wonder if it will ever be though.

MICHAEL NO THAT'S NO WHAT A SANE PERSON SAYS- although I mean?? He does have a point! Even though being dead is a huge hit in general and idk how that would even feel, actually being with friends could have a huge impact on the situation. Imagine if only one died and was stuck there? That would have a completely different impact. I don't think Michael should brush off the fact that they are all dead now, but I do understand why he even mentions that. Trying to stay positive, but maybe try a bit differently babey-

The part I feared the most, but actually turned out really good? Around the beginning at least! In this version, Francis has much more of a reason for actively being really upset at Michael especially due to what he just said. Although maybe he should chill a bit because some things he says are really eh?? Michael never meant it like that and Francis is just freaking out and yelling at him, but like I said, he actually has a reason and I can't stay that mad. I would hate this entire thing too, although I would be a lot more emotional than angry

Does sleep come easy to them or no? What does their bedtime routine look like?

when nico is tired, he’s done. he can sleep literally anywhere, no matter what time of day it is. his bedtime routine is pretty much “don’t hit anything on your way down”. when he’s in hades’ cabin, he’s a lot more antsy, and it takes him a bit longer to go to sleep. if that’s the case, he tends to just tire himself out by using his powers for dumb little things-- what if i shadow travel to the bathroom? what if i shadow travel to the roof? i wonder if i can hop from this bed to the next one even though it’s like twenty feet apart and i know that’s not physically possible?-- but generally, if he’s tired, he can go right to sleep no problem. 

If they could only have one food for the rest of their life, what would it be?

if asked, he’ll say french fries, but torta pasqualina like his mom used to make it is the real answer. though he does really love french fries. 

What would the bring with them to pass the time on a long flight?

good luck dragging his tiny body into the sky but probably his mythomagic cards.

he used to play piano, but he doesn’t anymore.

What movies are the most nostalgic for them?

fantasia. it came out right after nico and his family came to america, and it was great for them because there wasn’t really much talking in it, so it didn’t matter that they were struggling with the transition from italy to america at the time, they just got to have some fun and pretend that things were normal for a little while. 

Do they know how to cook? If so, what’s their favorite thing to make?

nico can’t cook at all, but he would make a lot of old family recipes if he had them.

going through his belongings and organizing them or just moving around. sitting still is really hard for him with his adhd, so unless he’s focused on something ( or will is playing with his hair ), it’s really difficult to get him to not move or relax until he’s ready to sleep.

What is their relationship with their extended family like? Are they the kind of person who’s very close to aunts, uncles, and cousins? Or are they the kind of person who barely remembers they exist?

nico honestly has no idea if he’s got any extended family on his mom’s side of the family, and his dad’s? honestly not really sure how to answer that one.

“who can say” by enya or “il mondo” by jimmy fontano. depends on his mood and if he feels like singing along. 

What is their morning routine like? Are they a morning person or no?

nico HATES getting up, but once he’s up, he’s fine. he went to military school for a lot of the time before the lotus hotel and then after it, so he’s pretty good at getting up when he has to, but he still despises it. he gets up, makes his bed, showers, eats, and makes himself go get some exercise so he doesn’t crawl back into bed immediately. 

What is their pain threshold like? Will a stubbed toe take them down, or does it take something much more drastic?

nico can withstand a lot of pain. when he was little, stubbing his toe would make him cry, but after growing up essentially on his own, learning to control his powers, and his time in tartarus, it takes a lot to scare or hurt him. 

Are they a binge watcher or do they prefer to stretch shows out? What kind of shows do they like? Are there any that they rewatch with any kind of frequency?

binge watcher. nico’s impulse control is kinda terrible. i don’t think there’s anything i could see him watching non-ironically, but if he was going to watch stuff, it’d probably be old war documentaries. 

Do they have read receipts on?

yes. assuming everyone in pjo texts, he’s got the receipts on so if he doesn’t answer, people still know he’s okay at least, and then also to be passive aggressive when he’s annoyed. he’ll leave the receipt on, type something and delete it, then turn his phone off so they just see the “...” that means he’s typing, then just completely ghosts. he’s kinda horrible. 

If they had to sell their soul to save one person, who would it be and why?

i mean..................... it’s changed a lot. it was maria after she died, then it was bianca, then it was percy. nico would sell his soul to protect all of his friends, though which one he’d do it for in a situation where more than one of them is at risk is where it gets complicated. he would also save people like annabeth and piper, etc., even though he’s not as close to them as some others, because they matter to the people he really cares about. jason, percy, will, reyna, hazel, bianca, and maria have all been on his unconditional, without thought or hesitation list for people he’d sacrifice himself for to save.

so theres the classic neighbor kids who meet and become inseparable right so thats like pretty much them except nico was actually super annoying when he was a kid?? like will kind of hated him at first but then they got pretty close pretty quick

so like ofc they had sleepovers all the time and played together at recess when they were little and nico totally just thought will was just his best friend and nothing more and it took him a million years to figure out what that feeling actually was u know bc hes a child

so when theyre in middle school bianca dies and nico gets super sad ofc but like he doesn’t completely cut will out of his life bc will’s his best friend and he might die if he lost both bia and will in like the same week so yeah nico’s a little more distant than he was but he still talks to will almost every day

also in middle school will starts to notice that girls??? exist??? girls and nico, his platonic best friend with whom he can talk about girls

tbh nico kinda starts to feel like there’s something seriously wrong with him bc like who cares about girls??? what’s so great about them??? and he finds out what being gay means and hes like maybe but also who cares about boys either??? i just wanna play video games with will and no one else ever??? and my boy is dumb guys

so like by the time they enter high school nico realizes that hes definitely more gay than he is straight but like he just keeps it to himself nobody needs to know because it’s not really relevant and like what if he’s not gay anyway who actually knows all he knows is that will kind of only talks about girls anymore and instead of spending time with nico he goes on dates with these girls sometimes and nico totally doesnt care about how little time he gets to spend with will anymore

but like none of will’s girlfriends ever stick around for long and soon enough nico and will are graduating high school and going off to college and they go to the same school and room together and everything bc why wouldn’t they?

so while they’re at college, like after a year or two and neither of them have dated anyone that’s lasted more than a month at most and they’re just like. laying on the ground outside their dorm and will’s like “hey nico i think i might be gay”

nicos just like “me too” without actually thinking it through

Hello! Welcome to my first Children Rekindled review? I don't know what you would call this exactly because it's just me screaming. I'm considering on doing this for every chapter that comes out, but due to how long the chapters are, it might take two or more posts to get to the end of this chapter. The colors work really well together and after a while of not seeing these kiddos actually ok, it's nice to see them all just chilling at Freddy's..alone? Going through this entire page is painful First we have the reaction of the group which just hits hard!! How Michael turns away once Daniel gets stabbed already hurts enough. He can't escape the loud screaming of pain coming from his dying friend. Charlie also covers her eyes, but it's the same for that too. Francis being there just shocked about what is going on in front of him hITS HARD. The two are watching, completely powerless. They have to see their friend just heckieing die and couldn't do a thing. It must hurt Bianca a lot especially considering that the two seem to be rather close friends?? Seeing Daniel just slowly get weaker as his screaming of pain stops to show that he's finally dead really hurts? It already made the entire thing painful in the original, but in this it's just worse because once he stops, you really know he's gone. I wonder how the others feel when hearing that. The sinking feeling of denial and guilt in their stomach ESPECIALLY MICHAEL would just hurt.

please don't just yeet the boyo onto the floor- Bianca is a mess and this heck is like 'wow look at that!! I just killed your friend! Moving on-'

We all just want to hug Bianca here. If you don't then you're wrong. She looks like she’s just in so much denial. The Afterwound AU and Soul-Linked AU hurt due to this and I want that show. Both have it so they had seen each other die, but suddenly they are all ok? At least in the Soul-Linked AU they are for a bit- aus are so much fun, but let's get back to this.

There goes another one! what a shocking surprise! In the original (if you didn't read it), she just got her throat slit due to a guitar string, but now she got heckieing electrocuted. I wonder which is worse?? At least now she doesn't have a talking problem, but always shaking is horrible. I need to ask Bon more about how she feels, but for now I'm just gonna suffer

More to unpack here! To begin, Francis trembling in the first panel just shows that even the bravest boyo around tHAT IS TRYING TO DEFEND HIS FRIENDS, is realizing that he can't even do that. How could he face someone who just killed two of his friends? Someone who was clever enough to lead them to this room where they are trapped and unable to run? Then when he got stabbed, for one, that must hurt like hell! And also he wasn't even able to do much to save them apart from telling them to run! He didn't even get a hit in before William was just like "time to murder u" "I hope you'll see your friends again soon, dear." HECK U WILLIAM THEY NEVER DESERVED ANY OF THIS PLS-
