Inochi no Tabekata 2 ch 1-1 Translation
Part #1 — Thousands of Miles to the End of Fiction | liar sincere lie
“If we leave ordinary people who are smeared with sins and remain unaware of their sins and stick to the sidelines, won’t we end up guilty of the same crime? Rather than washing our hands, if we don’t mind getting our hands dirty, could we even change the world?”
—”X-fes.” S’s remarks.
1-1 Otogiri Tobi– Can’t Eat the Childrens’ Lunch
When the sweaty Harimoto-sensei came back with a desk and a chair, Asahi Monika ordered him to carry it to the very back window, behind Takatomo Miyuki’s seat. No one objected, so for the time being, it became the transfer student’s seat.
Tobi’s seat was third from the front by the window. If he didn’t turn around almost directly behind him, he couldn’t see Asahi. He didn’t need to bother looking, but he was strangely curious. That said, he also felt like she might be a bit of an annoyance when he saw her. There was no substantiated basis. But something bad was about to happen.
When the first class started, the teacher in charge of Japanese asked him to show the textbook to the student next to him. It would be appropriate instruction for a transfer student.
“It’s fine.”
However, Asahi simply refused.
“I’ve heard a lot about what you’ve been saying, so as long as you teach it properly, I’ll be fine.”
“I see…”
This teacher also suddenly withdrew. They were not a timid teacher. Even though they were the type to speak clearly, they seemed to be pressured by Asahi.
The transfer student had something like a power. As for being overbearing, it was not that she was like that, but there’s no curse on the god’s who don’t bother. For example, you don’t want to set foot in a graveyard at night, even if you don’t expect to see ghosts. It feels ominous somehow. The feeling that the transfer student has was similar to that.
In the first hour, the students of Class 2-3 were uncomfortably quiet. It was definitely the transfer student’s fault. It was not just the students. Even Baku was silent. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that this was an abnormal situation, considering that there were few people who even tried to see how the transfer student was doing.
Even after it was over, the classroom remained empty and lifeless.
Tobi shifted his body slightly to the side and turned around. He couldn’t see the transfer student’s face. She was lying on her desk with her arm pillow. Thanks to that, he could see her hair.
“Didn’t she talk big because she could see everything…?”
Baku said in amazement.
For a moment, the transfer student’s hair seemed to wriggle.
Was it a coincidence?
Maybe it was no coincidence.
Ryuuko was walking back and forth in the back classroom. About Ryuuko. He wondered if she was trying to talk to the transfer student. She wanted to talk, but the other wasn’t just a transfer student. Was it difficult for her to make the decision?
This wasn’t the first time a transfer student had come to Tobi’s class. He wasn’t interested, so he didn’t remember clearly, but he thought it had happened twice in the past. It was a vague memory, but past transfer students had gained popularity by being bombarded with questions.
If she was a normal transfer student, it wouldn’t be strange to have a circle of people around this time. Since the transfer student was Asahi Monika, they left a wake or something. Asamiya Shinobu approached.
“So, was that…”
“What is it?”
“One character, that character is the same.”
“‘Asa’?”
“Yes.”
Asamiya had an extremely sour face. Apparently he didn’t have a good impression of the transfer student.
“Miyu Takatomo’s seat, like that…”
At first, Tobi didn’t understand what Asamiya was trying to say. After thinking about it for a moment, he vaguely understood.
Since she lived nearby, Asamiya seemed to have been childhood friends with Takatomo, who was in the hospital. Asahi forced her seat behind Takatomo’s seat. Even if Takatomo came back, she wouldn’t be able to sit in that small space.
Tobi didn’t believe that the transfer student had any ill intentions. However, he was under no obligation to defend the transfer student. If he took the transfer student’s side, he’d end up hurting Asamiya. He was reluctant to do that. Asamiya must be worried about Takatomo from the bottom of his heart. But many of their classmates weren't. Tobi was the same. Tobi wasn’t to the point of worrying because he didn’t know much about Takatomo Miyuki.
However, he thought it would be good if he could encourage Asamiya.
What should he say?
‘I hope Takatomo gets well soon,’ or something like that?
He couldn’t say those words.
“Sorry, Otogiri.”
Asamiya lowered his head and apologized in a thin voice.
“I’m strangely annoyed…”
“Why not?”
“Huh?”
“It’s frustrating, it’s not weird.”
For some reason, Tobi couldn’t look straight at Asamiya's face. When he looked to the back of the classroom, Ryuuko was still walking back and forth.
“I don’t think you’re weird.”
“...yeah.”
Asamiya sniffled a bit. Then he laughed briefly as if he had deceived him.
“But that Shiratama is strange.”
“Aah…”
Tobi couldn’t deny that.
Ryuuko was a weird person in general, and that back and forth was completely eccentric.
“But she must be serious.”
“Then would it be bad to stop her?”
“What do you think… Ah–”
Now Ryuuko took two steps forward at once. She got a lot closer to the transfer student. Should she continue like that?
He wondered if she would go.
However, the next moment, Ryuuko took two steps back and dropped her shoulders, perhaps disappointed in her own cowardice.
Tobi exchanged glances with Asamiya.
She was just one breath away.
“....huh.” Asamiya said, and Tobi responded, “yeah…”
After that, Ryuuko tried to talk to the transfer student every time she had free time. The morning classes ended without a single accomplishment.
+++ + ++++
Even though the transfer student suddenly appeared, Tobi’s daily life didn’t change. As usual, his school lunch was eaten up in no time other than the staple food. Tobi grabbed the bun and pulled Baku in his hand, and quickly left the classroom.
He was able to enter the courtyard, which was off limits. But as expected, he didn’t feel like going up to the roof. There were several benches without backrests in the courtyard. Tobi sat down on a bench with Baku on his shoulder and began to eat his bread.
“That’s good, Tobi. You’re good. When it’s time to eat, you’re able to find something to eat. But. Do you really understand how blessed and happy you are? There are those like me who can’t find food no matter how hungry they are all over the world. It’s not a joke. We’re in the billions. I guess you know that. You know that, oi?”
“...You’re noisy, honestly.”
“No. I’m not being noisy. I’m not feeling well. That’s not true. After all, I’m starving. That’s why I’m downtrodden, downtrodden. Right now I’m downtrodden. The power to be annoying is also honest. A hungry Baku is quiet.”
“Where’s the quiet?”
Tobi finished eating the koppepan while Baku was sucking up.
“My voice volume is 70 percent less than usual, isn’t it?”
“It’s loud enough, but…”
“Then shut up.”
“Please.”
“Huh. It’s okay? It’s really okay for me to shut up, is it? Won’t you regret it?”
“I won’t.”
“Absolutely sure?”
“Yeah. Absolutely.”
“You’re lying. Tobi, you’ll definitely regret it. I’m the one who said that, so it’s not wrong. I’m not a ruthless demon enough to make you do something I know you’ll regret. It’s boring to keep quiet…”
“I don’t think you could keep quiet all the time.”
“I could stay that way. I could afford it. If it’s three days, two days, one day, or half a day, I could do it.”
“But that’s getting less and less.”
“I’m always quiet when you’re sleeping, aren’t I?”
“Speaking of which, is that it? Then, seven hours is the limit for Baku to keep silent?”
“Eight hours is manageable.”
“Half a day is impossible…”
Tobi kept his mouth shut when he sensed someone. When he looked, he saw a man in work clothes walking from the parking lot across the courtyard, not from inside the school building.
“Oh, isn’t that Haizaki?”
“...Good afternoon.”
Haizaki gave a nod with a smirk and a troubled expression on his face.
Tobi knew that this man was more than just a janitor. He was a janitor who could see zingai. He didn’t just see that. Haizaki had a weasel-like zingai named Oruba. Apparently, he knew a lot about zingai. If he felt like it, he could rely on him. That’s what he said. How should Tobi interact with this janitor? He honestly didn’t know. He wondered if Haizaki also had some sort of hesitation. It was a strangely half hearted attitude.
“Do you want something from me?”
“....Umm, yeah. That’s right. Uhh, that’s right. There’s a transfer student in your class…”
“She came. This morning.”
“About that transfer student…”
Haizaki folded his arms and frowned.
“No, but, that’s, umm…”
“What’s with this guy? Is there something wrong with him?”
Baku said with a smirk. It was true that Haizaki looked strange. When the transfer student showed up at the side door leading out of the school building into the courtyard, his behavior became even more suspicious.
“Gah,” Haizaki yelled and braced himself. Immediately followed by “no, no,” he shook his head and looked at Tobi. He was about to say something, but without saying anything, he brushed off his pants with both hands. After a cat was startled, it would groom itself in an attempt to regain composure. It was somewhat similar to that model.
Lunch time wasn’t over yet. However, the transfer student appeared. It was not her obligation to tell Tobi, who was eating bread here, but the question of why arose. Besides, was the transfer student walking straight towards Tobi?
Haizaki’s reaction was also strange. Could it be that the two knew each other? A transfer student attending this school for the first time and the janitor of the junior high school. It was kind of a strange combination.
The transfer student sat down in the open space on the bench where Tobi was sitting. Then she turned her sleepy eyes to Tobi.
“Here, okay?”
“...You’re already sitting, aren’t you?”
“That’s right.”
Asahi Monika covered her mouth with one hand and yawned. Without removing her hand, she muttered, “You’re right.”
“Ah—”
As if Haizaki had made up his mind, he puffed out his chest and called to the transfer student.
“Oh, Asahi-san. Still, that… that’s it? It’s… lunch time, you know…”
“Why are you telling me that?”
Asahi pressed her hands against the bench and cast a look as though she were looking at something dirty.
“Oji-san.”
“...Oji-san, is that right? It’s true…”
Haizaki shrugged his shoulders. He was a timid, busy adult with bravado.
“Are you her uncle?”
When Tobi asked, Haizaki seemed unsure at that point, saying “eh?” with a laugh.
“Does it look like that?”
“Huh? Ohh…”
Haizaki seemed to have understood Tobi’s question correctly. He panicked and he waved “No, no.”
“We don’t have a blood relationship? Not even distant relatives. I’m not that kind of old man. What is it, just an uncle? Another middle-aged man. Middle aged… I’d like to think I haven’t entered that realm yet…”
“But, if you look at it from a fourteen year old flower’s point of view.”
This girl called Asahi Monika was elusive. She seemed to make fun of Haizaki, and on the other hand, she seemed to feel a certain degree of familiarity with Haizaki. Were the two complete strangers? Tobi didn’t see it that way. If so, what were they? Why was Asahi here now, to begin with?
“School is a strange place.”
Asahi said softly.
“Children who are so different from each other are gathered in one place and made to do the same things just because they’re similar in age. Efficiency may be good, but it's not unbearable.”
To whom were those words addressed? He felt like asking. But he didn’t want to get too involved with this transfer student. She was clearly a troublesome person.
“Well…”
Haizaki cleared his throat.
“Collective action. It’s necessary to some extent. We’re social animals. We Homo sapiens are. In order to cultivate the minimum level of sociality, it’s an appropriate system…”
“Oji-san is trying to act like an adult by saying something proper.”
“I-I am an adult? I’m a proper member of society…”
“You don’t seem confident.”
“Yes.”
Haizaki’s momentum was only good at the beginning.
“...Yes. I make a decent living. I even cook for myself.”
“I can cook, Oji-san. Surprisingly.”
“It may seem that way, but I do it pretty diligently. I can make things that aren’t that bad. Okonomiyaki, and takoyaki, and other things.”
“That’s just powder.”
“I like them!”
“Tobi?”
The transfer student suddenly started talking to him, so he almost answered “I—” What was Tobi trying to answer? What was the content of the question?”
“...Tobi?”
Tobi pointed at himself.
The transfer student nodded.
“Tobi.”
“...What?”
“What is it?”
“Uhh—”
Tobi thought about it carefully. Baku was also twisting his neck, “nunu…?” As if the backpack had a neck, though. Asahi stared at Tobi. Rather than staring at one point, it felt like she was staring at Tobi’s whole body.
“...Was I not calling you? Boy(1).”
“Is that it?”
Asahi didn’t change her expression. She was a bit strange. She said school was a strange place. But this transfer student was definitely much weirder than school.
A chime rang. Lunch time was over. It was lunch break.
“Oji-san, you’ve been wasting time here for a while.”
Asahi shrugged her shoulders.
“Do you have that much free time?”
Haizaki frowned and pressed his forehead with both hands.
“...That’s right. I need to work.”
“Good luck.”
When Asahi waved her hands as if to ward off flies or something, Haizaki trudged away.
Before long, the students started chatting and running around the courtyard. What on earth was the girl with buns in her hair doing, coming out the side door of the school building, retreats, and turning back when she thinks she was out?
“O-Ryuu…”
Baku sighed “haa…” despite being a backpack.
There was a low scarlet sound in her throat. Did she laugh? When he looked up, Asahi was staring in the direction of the side door. With her legs crossed, she leaned forward and rested her chin on her knees.
“You didn’t give your name. Boy.”
“Yeah.”
Asahi looked at Tobi sideways without nodding and answered.
“Tobi. You didn’t give your name.”
+++ + ++++
I don’t understand.
In the end, Tobi stayed in the courtyard until the end of lunch break. He had been sitting side-by-side on the same bench as the transfer. They were together. He couldn’t help but say that. It didn’t matter what she was doing. He exchanged little meaningful conversation. He could have left the transfer student and gone somewhere else, but she didn’t and gone somewhere else, but he didn’t have any particular intentions. Tobi leaving the bench was a little different, and it felt a bit frustrating. Why did Tobi have to yield to Asahi? If he was going somewhere, wasn’t that the place?
The transfer student didn’t seem to think about what came next or what happened next, and surprisingly he seemed to think so. Somehow, she seemed quite strong. While pretending she didn’t care, was she really a sore loser? As for Asahi Monika, Tobi didn’t know.
He was curious.
There was something about the transfer person that Tobi couldn’t help but get stuck on.
If he asked that person directly, it would be quick. But, it might be Tobi’s misunderstanding. If it was not, it would be crazy.
And for now, he didn’t think Asahi was an honest person. No matter what Asahi’s answer to Tobi’s question was, it might be a lie.
Whatever’s bothering him, just forget about it. She was just a transfer student. It happened that she became a classmate today. That’s it. She didn’t speak to him, there were many classmates who didn’t even say hello. In fact, in Tobi's case, most of his classmates were like that. Asahi Monika was just one of them, so he shouldn’t get involved.
In fifth hour while he was thinking about such things, Ryuuko raised her hand.
“...Sensei. Excuse me.”
“Shiratama-san? What happened?”
When the female social studies teacher interrupted her writing on the blackboard and turned around, Ryuuko closed her eyes with her right hand raised and said “nnnn…” for a while.
“Shi-Shiratama-san?”
When the female teacher was about to step down from the podium, Ryuuko held out her right hand forward.
“No, it’s okay, it’s okay… um… I don’t think it’s that big of a deal, so I’m fine…”
“Are you sure?”
“...Yeah, but I feel a little… very unwell, so I’m terribly sorry, but can I sit down and go to the infirmary…”
“O-Of course.”
“I don’t think something like this should happen, but I can’t help it… I’m sorry… I was really looking forward to your class, and I’m heartbroken…”
“That’s fine, Shiratama-san, hurry up and go to the infirmary. Someone, please accompany her.”
The female teacher looked around the classroom. Tobi was about to lift out of his chair, he asked himself.
Going?
Accompany?
Take Ryuuko to the infirmary? Myself?
“No!”
Ryuuko stood up from her seat with a strong tone of affirmation.
“I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Please, please, let me go to the infirmary alone. I’m not a child anymore. I’m too old to eat the children’s lunch.”
“...O-Okay?”
The female teacher was confused. Ryuuko immediately answered “yes!” and started walking.
“No, even adults can eat the children’s lunch…”
Asamiya muttered quietly. She’s right, Tobi was impressed. When was the last time he ate a children’s lunch? It was a distant memory, but a long time ago, he went out to eat with his brother several times. At that time, he vaguely remembered asking for a children’s lunch.
Ryuuko left the classroom with a firm gait, or rather, a walking style that was too firm, like a marching soldier.
Baku growled.
“That, I’m sure she’ll be fine. That O-Ryuu guy…”
If this wasn’t while in class or the classroom, Tobi would have agreed. Maybe he should chase Ryuuko.

(1) She’s saying “Boku” (僕) here which is normally a first person pronoun, but can also be a second person pronoun that refers to boys.

top 5 slashers/killers you'd love to see in dbd no matter how small a role or unpopular :D and maybe some perk ideas for them?
Say less,
1. Bo Sinclair
I can’t not start with him- it just feels wrong. I think of him as being similar to deathslinger but the gun is more of a extra weapon or something you’d have to equip with a perk/item.
Bo to me is more of a act now think later kind of person so I could see his perks reflecting that by having more physical boosts/extras as appears to more strategic ones that take a little brain power to make useful. Also perks routed in self confidence would fit him as he’s a very self absorbed\assured character.
2. The Collector
For him I just see him using a knife nothing all that flashy. However he could have an option to be able to place a multitude of traps and not just on the ground bear traps like the trapper. It would be super cool if Asa could place the wire that cuts people from the first movie and when survivors walk through it they get injured/shout. But can still carry on running without issues.
Also I enjoy indoor maps from time to time and his hotel as one would be a cool addition plus it would offer a larger in door map with plenty of places to hide and jump down.
3. Candyman
There's so many things you can do with this man. You could for one, use his bees to make a cool kind of Mori and also have a sort of teleporting ability to do with mirrors.
4. Carrie
I love her so much and I feel she would be a interesting addition to the killers in the entity’s realm. She would definitely make for some interesting gameplay. I’d honestly like to see a perk where she could stop a pallet from falling with a skill check once with a cool down. I just feel that would make chases more interesting.
5. Of course I have to say BRING BACK THE STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS!!!
I mean I already own Steve, Nancy, Demo Dog since I rushed to buy them after learning the stranger things was being taken from the game but I didn’t get the ahoy outfit and for me that is painful.

The Collector: Asa Emory Headcanons
I have Asa Emory brain rot, so what's better than to write about it?
These are primarily opinion (some fact), and just for fun! Requests are on. ♡
-
Tumblr media
Asa is canonically blind(?) When doing some research on the first movie, "The Collector", I stumbled upon an interview with Asa Emory's original actor; Juan Fernandez. In it is quote;
"At what point do you think or did you decide that The Collector knew Arkin was in the house?"
JF: "The Collector ALWAYS knew that somebody was in the house. Talking blind again think of Al Pacino in Scent Of A Woman, his moves, the way he smells, The Collector was the same. The Collector was blind and a blind person knows – they have a sixth sense. You think that’s he’s going to go inside the house and he’s not going to know from the smell or the air changes that there is someone in there – then he wouldn’t be The Collector."
[I'm not sure if this carries into the second movie??]
Asa Emory has some heavy daddy issues. On his wiki page it explains how The Collector came to be; how when Asa Emory was a boy his father went insane due to digesting chemicals meant for taxidermy, killed his family, stuffed them, and placed them around the table for Thanksgiving dinner. Asa was the only survivor, however the experience warped his mind.
In the first movie "The Collector" when Asa is about to discover Hannah (the hidden child), Arkin (Mr. Badass) yells profanities/insults at Asa in order to get his attention. One slur catches Asa's attention in particular; being the "F" slur. It VISIBLY pissed him off, so it's safe to assume his father used this word often when referring to his son.
Humans <<< Bugs/Insects; Self explanatory for the most part. He will treat bugs with more respect than any of his victims.
Asa Emory taking interest in you is a fate worse than death.
Every so often he kidnaps a "lucky" lady to which he keeps around. In the sequel "The Collection" it is shared to the viewers that Asa has kept a young girl named Abby. Abby vocally expresses how she is the "Collector's favorite" and how he has taken a liking to her.
I theorize that even Asa can get lonely, occasionally seeking another person to which he has full control over. Regarding his type; I believe he likes the "pretty girls". The dolled up and innocent ones catch his eye. He most likely goes for the easier to manipulate girls, the ones without a flame to tame, and the ones who appear weaker.
"Pretty... pretty girl."
I imagine Asa's voice as being very husky and low from lack of use. It's a very demanding voice; he's able to provoke fear just by speaking, although he prefers not to around victims especially.
Regarding words, The Collector doesn't use them often. I mean, who does he have to talk to? But every so often; when he wishes to express himself verbally, the sentences may be short.
"Sit."
(Rare instance of Asa being nice)
"Sit... please."
The Collector never kills without a performance.
In the first movie, Asa's movements reminded me of a predator; a black panther to be precise. He moved in a calculated manner with a sort of swiftness. In the second movie, I feel as if we're introduced to a more brutish side.
If Asa discovered a tattoo of an insect on one of his victims I can imagine one of two things happening.
He carves the tattoo from their skin to where he dries it, preserving it similar to leather.
They strike his interest, for better or for worse. Maybe he keeps them around to replace Abby.
BONUS: Asa discovers your tattoo of your favorite insect and it becomes his new nickname for you.
"My little dragon-fly."

Slashers Ranked: Who Could I Fight
-Billy Lenz: 4/10. I would definitely lose. He seems like he'd be easy to lose hold of. Would definitely bite. It'd be fun until he chokes me to death.
-RZ Michael Myers: 0/10. Man is built like a brick shithouse, are you kidding me? I'd shove him, he'd flick me halfway across the globe.
-1978 Michael Myers: 6/10. I would lose, no bones about it, but God, it'd be a good fight. By good fight I mean it'd be a big and lethal game of tag. I would never face this man 1 v 1 intentionally (unless we were fuckin).
-Lester Sinclair: 0/10. Would not fight. He may as well be my brother.
- Bo Sinclair: 10/10. Would rock his shit. Then probably hook up with him. Duality of man.
- Vincent Sinclair: 4/10. I would never willingly fight him, but if I needed to, I'd rock his shit. I'd just like...rather not. He's v pretty.
-Jason Voorhees: -8/10. I'd never fight Jason and unlike with Lester, that just means I'd get my shit rocked and would die painfully. But hey, at least it's outside.
-Brahms Heelshire: 9/10. I'd rock his shit too. You think just cuz he's tall and handsome and British that I wouldn't?
-Thomas Hewitt: 0/10 I simply would not fight him. Sorry kids. That being said, I'd be perfectly content helping the family with anything they need, so hopefully that'd save my skin (literally)
- Pavi Largo: 7/10. I'd rock this pretty boy's shit then immediately be disemboweled by his brother or sister.
- Luigi Largo: 5/10. Have you ever seen two people with older sibling syndrome and anger issues get into a fight? Okay. Alright. Now give them each a knife. This is only a low ranked fight bc I have a big ass crush on Bill Moseley and would hate to hurt Luigi bc of it.
- Amber Sweet: -1/10. Most people would assume that fighting Amber looks like a bitch fight with scratching and hair pulling. Most people would be wrong, that's a fight with Pavi. Fighting with Amber looks like you shove her, she calls her body guards to fuck you up and they're rather good at their job. She doesn't have time to entertain petty little fights.
- Graverobber: 10/10. I'd totally get fucked up, but I'd love to get thrown around by him.
-Amanda Young: I'm gonna say 3/10 because she may throw me in a saw trap if I win or lose. Shit, the fight could be a saw trap.
- Leslie Vernon: 15/10. Please let me fight this fucker. Please. He seems similar to fighting Michael, but with slightly more humor to it and potentially less dying.
- Charlie Hewitt: 3/10. I'd shoot him and be done with it. Like no offense, but I kinda don't like him anyway... sorry
- Asa Emory: 4/10. Either I fuck up Asa to the point he can't hurt me, or I get thrown in a trunk and brought to the hotel. This sounds like a lose lose. Frankly speaking? I'd love to say I could take Asa in a fight, but in a true moment of knowing thyself, I will say that I would be a very pretty bug sculpture.
Bubba Sawyer: 0/10, would not fight. I just wouldn't. Not bc he's baby or whatever, I just like him too much. Also, he's fuckin stacked. He'd rock my shit in a heart beat.
Drayton Sawyer: Two scores. Old man Drayton? 5/10. I could rock his shit, but simply wouldn't. Young man Drayton? 12/10. I'd rock his shit then makeout with him while we're all bloody and bruised up. Why? idk. Give me one reason why not.
- Lawrence Oleander: 4/10. I'd win, but at what personal cost? I couldn't even kill him in game (I couldn't make myself do it). If I had to fight him? I'm fairly sure I'm faster and I'm fully willing to kick him in the shin and run. If he gets ahold of me? I may be fucked.
- Strade: 7/10. Two smartasses walk into a bar. One walks out, the other is being carried to an unmarked van by the first one. Yeah. Okay. So I'd totally die, that's first off. Second? I'd totally be internet famous by the end of it. I feel like Strade would use my correct pronouns as he's pulling my fingernails out for laughs.

Can you do slashers with s/o that draws/takes Polaroid's of themselves naked? If not plez ignore
sure thing! here you go.
slashers with a s/o that takes polaroids of themselves naked.
Asa Emory / The Collector
UPSET. but not really.
he’ll be taking these, thank you very much.
confiscates your pictures but not your polaroid.
all your photos mysteriously disappear over time.
why are you asking him? aren’t you supposed to be careful? tsk, tsk. what if somebody else finds them? what’ll you do then, hmm?
scolds you for taking them but keeps them all for himself.
naughty. uses your presumably lost photos as an excuse to punish you.
Billy Lenz
also steals them but he won’t care if you find out.
has them taped at a particular nook of the attic where he sleeps.
why are you so surprised? ...are you seriously asking him why it’s there?
volunteers to take photos of you next time. he’s pretty bad at it though. his angles are weird and it’s usually out of focus.
can you blame him? he’s too focused in trying not to touch himself right then and there.
displays all his bad photography too.
Bo Sinclair
"aw, for me? you shouldn’t have.”
regardless if you told him or not, he’s going to take them from you.
bo will be a lot more lewd. he’s much more likely to whisper obscenities in your ear; how filthy you are, what he’s planning on doing to you - all down to the smallest detail.
gets creative with the nicknames ranging from sweetheart to cockslut. turns out your photos are very inspiring.
has a collection of your photos up at a designated wall of his “dungeon.”
would definitely take polaroids of you two having sex. (this will also go on the wall.)
Brahms Heelshire
same hat!! also steals them and doesn’t care if you find out.
oh these are definitely going up on his wall! riiiiiight next to his bed.
fuck yeah he jacks off to your photos. constantly. and what about it?
confront him and he’ll pull an uno reverse card on you.
so why is it that you have such lewd photos, hmm? tsk tsk. naughty. he just can’t help himself. maybe he should punish you too?
if you ask him he’ll definitely agree to be your photographer.
the photos turns out amazing. what else do you expect from a voyeur? he knows all your good angles.
Bubba Sawyer
!!!!!!! boner.
thinks it’s hot but has a million questions. who took these? you? what do you mean it’s for him???? OH YOU MEAN-
graciously accepts them and tries his very best to keep it between the two of you.
he’s not a fan of the idea because he hates the thought of anyone else seeing you like this. (especially the rest of the sawyers)
sees it as a romantic gesture and looks at the photos whenever he’s missing you. (which is pretty often.)
oh WHOOPS now he’s horny again. rushes over back to you.
this will be a common occurence. please help this poor man.
Jason Voorhees
!!!! o...oh my god ????!!
jason.exe has stopped working. you’ve done it, you’ve broken jason.
why do you have these and why are you naked? is completely rock hard at the moment and dying of embarrassment.
has a complete mental breakdown in front of you and it will only get worse if you offer the photos to him.
please help him regain his sanity again before anything else.
very against them but it’s pretty easy to convince him otherwise.
too paranoid to leave it elsewhere so he keeps it in his shirt pocket.
no more taking photos, okay? wags finger at you. please? for his health?
Jesse Cromeans / Chromeskull
ooh, naughty. loves what he sees and asks for them like a proper gentleman. (if you say no he’s still gonna take them though.)
big fan. very eager to help you in any way.
need a new camera? here’s the latest model. why not try his camcorder next? wink wink.
more into videos than photos but it’s still right up his alley nonetheless.
similar to bubba, he hates the idea of anyone else seeing you like this, so he’s very careful where he places all your photos.
definitely not on display. has it locked away somewhere and secured with a passcode.
Michael Myers
cool, thanks. oh were you just showing it to him? too bad, it’s his now.
practically snatches it from your hands. if you’re much smaller than he is, you’re going to have a bad time. this bastard will toy with you.
has a stash of a variety of your things (one of which may or may not be a pair of used underwear) buried somewhere. your photos will end up there as well.
now that he’s secured his collectibles, there’s now a new objective: screwing with you. both literally and figuratively.
mikey here would feign innocence at your missing polaroid, only to whip it out while he’s plowing you from behind.
takes more photos of you after he’s filled you up nicely. does it again the next time, and again, and again -- you’re never getting your polaroid back.
Thomas Hewitt
!!!!!!!!! just stares at the photos wide-eyed. instantly at full mast.
congrats, you’ve also broken thomas! he recovers faster than jason though and he’s not as shy to accept them.
tries to play it cool and just stuffs them in his apron. pretends like it’s a normal thing and just carries on with his tasks.
secretly he is freaking the fuck out !!! you just gave him your nudes! this might be the only time you see him mess up some of his chores.
makes sure he’s at a very secluded place before looking at them again. could he have imagined the whole thing? continues freaking out again as soon as he checks.
treasures the photos. kind of sappy? yeah his dick is hard but you know what else? his heart grew three sizes.
Vincent Sinclair
....... sharp inhale.
i... it’s for him? another sharp inhale. are you sure? proceeds to freak out internally.
thanks you. yes, you heard him right. vincent sinclair is the type of man to thank you for giving him your nudes.
super flustered and will only look at them once you leave.
another paranoid that has a super secret place to keep your photos. checks on them often to make sure they’re all there and lowkey repeats the process of freaking out over them again.
has probably already drawn you naked before but this time it’s different! now he has reference!
it won’t be noticeable since he’s too shy to approach you about it but his libido will spike.

enhypen as “enemies to lovers” trope
heeseung<3
warnings: none
it’d be a one-sided hatred
although he never knew why you were always glaring at him during class
or why you were always speaking of him rudely he never went out his way to find out why
everyone was aware of your hatred for him
he was aware, he just didn’t care
that wasn’t until you two were forced to help out with the senior dance along with the student council as extra helpers
because you two hadn’t participated in any class/team building actives that year
your friends froze slightly laughing thinking about the fact that’s you’d and heeseung would “hang out” non stop for the next 2 weeks
as long as you avoided him there would be no problems? don’t make this harder for yourself.
JUST AVOID HIM!
turns out trying to ignore him was a lot harder than expected
it was either ‘teamwork 🥺’ or doing the work all by yourself
and you being the stubborn petty bitch you are,,
ended up carrying majority of the work while he hung out with his senior friends
it was 7pm after school on a winters night
you two had finished moving all the big boxes of decorations, plates, tables etc (i say you two but it was basically all you)
and you were sitting outside the bus stop swinging your feet back and forward
“gosh he’s so annoying he doesn’t even do any work” you mumbled kicking the rocks underneath your feet
if anybody were to ask you why you hated lee heeseung, one of the chillest people in school, so much? you wouldn’t have been able to answer
by now this memory of yours has been long forgotten but the feelings within are still there
6 year old heeseung and 6 year old y/n at the park running around like children do
(6 year old) y/n say on the swing for at least 30 minutes
or what felt like 30 minutes to heeseung
before he took matters into his own hands and pushed them
it wasn’t his intention to but you flew off the swing grazing your knee on the bark beneath
ever since then you swore to never be friends with people like him
it was dramatic of course but you were 6?! what else would’ve you said
but here you are 18 no memory of that incident whatsoever but still holding a grudge against him because that’s all you’ve ever known
heeseung was too waiting for his bus, actually he was catching the same bus as you
usually he would catch number 12 but it was night and this was the only route left
it was also the fastest route but he never had taken it
he lived on the same street as you, same class, same year, same after school activities yet he barely ever saw you around
that’s because he knew about your little annoyance for him
sometimes he would wonder what he did wrong
“should i go up to them and ask?”
“did i say something wrong?”
he often thought about confronting you but then again you two had never had a conversation past “hello” “*dead silence*”
he would take longer routes home, different buses to school and change his schedule for asa (after school activities) because he didn’t want to burden you
so there he stood, 5 feet away in the rain, trying to hide away from you so you wouldn’t get mad
maybe that’s why you disliked him?
because he never worked for anything yet you two had the same social status.
ahhh that must be why!
so the next day he put more effort into what he did
you didn’t understand why, and you were more confused than ever when he snatched the heavy cardboard boxes form your hands
“i can take this”
“i’ll hang this”
“don’t worry, sit down, i’ll fix the fridge”
something inside of you started to bubble a similar feeling to when yesterday when you wanted to punch his guys out for not helping
but also different... probably because he WAS helping now
“whatever” you scoffed letting him do all the work
hey? maybe this is fair. you did yesterday’s and he can do today
heeseung was stunned but kept his mouth shut as he didn’t wnat to get on your bad side
“y/n” he calls out for help
gosh he can’t do anything by himself can he?
even his voice irritates you but when you walk over to him, you find yourself with a badly made cupcake and a sorry note
wtfff is this? you think to urself
and for the first time in 12 years heeseung finds the courage to ask why you were so distant
silence
it wasn’t that you were trying to be rude but more you didn’t have an answer to give him
“ahh” he nodded awkwardly
“i guess some things are meant to be kept secret?” he rubbed the back of his neck, a habit he had picked up from watching american tv shows
you tapped your foot on the ground all suddenly realising you were being rude for no reason
a arrow of guilt had shot right through your heart and you didn’t know what to do now
“don’t worry” he smiled brightly “i’ll prove to you why you can trust me :) i’m hard working too yk?”
and there you were, stunned. never in your life had you talked to him for so long
so now you were just bring down on your lip hoping to run away
“alright. cool” you say and leave him be.
the next 2 weeks were exactly as he said, he went above and beyond for this senior dance
not only finding more to add to the night but cheaper and better events for the nights
this was a job for the student council yet here he was helping as if he was son of them
anddd he too had also warmed up to you as well
you had to admit the past few days of his constant nagging and clingy behaviour did erupt some kind of feeling in your stomach
and heeseung as well felt comforted knowing he wasn’t n.1 on your hit list anymore
“so what to you think?” he asked passing you a cola can
“of?”
“of me? do you still hate me?”
GUILT GUILT GUILT GUILT
“w-what are you talking about?! i never hated you!!! don’t try make me a bad person” you rambled making sure he wouldn’t misunderstand you like you did to him
he laughed “ik ik i’m just joking”
even after a very very long 12 years of hating his perfect set of teeth and bright grin you can’t help return the smile
in the max of 14 days he had you regretting every thought you use to have
there would be a small conversation about the dance and who you and your friends were going with
until it dawned on you, nobody had asked you out
i mean who would after your scary persona with the school
“so then, would you... like to go with me?”
you accepted it of course but made it very clear to him you were only doing this because you didn’t want to seem lonely
right?
on the night of the dance, you were the best person of the night
absolutely stunning!
at least to heeseung because he couldn’t take his eyes off of you
from then on, you weren’t known as “heeseungs personal hater 🥶” but now as his s/o
(and apparently the one who makes him the most happy, said his friends)
next is jay

Word Count: 3349
prompt list here
»»————— ☼ —————««
“Seriously, are you sure you’re not secretly related to Shin-chan?” Takao shoves another helping of rice into his mouth and you instantly frown at his messy eating habits.
“Takao, it doesn’t hurt to wipe the grains off your cheeks with napkins that the cafeteria always abundantly provides,” you say, not once taking your eyes off of the study guide you compiled for the class final. “And please don’t talk with your mouth open.” You can easily sense Takao groaning before slapping his eyes while leaning back in frustration, but you still carried on in skimming your notes instead.
“And that’s exactly why Shin-chan doesn’t know how to approach you,” he petulantly mumbles. You spared a glance above your packets, not catching his inaudible words.
“Pardon?”
“Never mind,” Takao sighs, settling to childishly stabbing the shrimp tempuras with his chopsticks and popping them into his mouth. “You werdn’t gert it.”
“What did I just say about your eating manners?” You roll your eyes, choosing to brush off his words as you continue to devote your attention to your papers. Takao simply opts to noisily munch on the rest of his lunch while being deep in thought, letting you study in some relative peace. He then gets up, tosses his trash away, and plops back down on his seat, and he props up his chin on his arm, watching you completely engrossed in your own world and figuring out how to exactly figure out his next best course of action.
“Y’know what? Screw this, I’m not getting paid to be a wingman for two difficult people,” he dramatically sighs, purposely trying to get your attention, and it worked. “You might wanna start paying attention to poor Shin-chan before he over thinks himself to death.” Takao does an exaggerated shrug and a shake of his head to emphasize the “seriousness” of the situation. You merely frown.
“You never cease to amaze me with your convoluted words. If you want something from me, just spit it out already.” You reluctantly let down your papers to give him your undivided attention, and Takao leans closer, dropping his voice to a hush.
“Look, I know you see him in a different light from the others,” he whispers conspiringly. “And he does too.” He makes pointer-finger motions in front of him to represent “you” and “Midorima.”
“... This again?” You pinch your nose bridge and release a harsh sigh, but you nonetheless let Takao continue.
“Come on, would it really hurt to do a confession? For someone so blunt and straightforward, you’re really dragging this out for way too long.” Takao frowns at your deadpan expression but continues his little movements with his makeshift “finger puppets.” “Once you”—he takes his left index finger—“and Shin-chan”—he brings his right index closer to his left—“do the chu”— he brings his index fingers together to imply the situation—“I can finally be free from the clutches of Shi—”
“I already told you,” you smoothly interrupt, “that we don’t see each other that way. He’s been a reliable partner in class projects and a very helpful person to share notes with. I’m very certain it’s like that on his end with me too.”
“Why do you sound so disappointed when you say it like that?” Takao slowly grows a shit-eating (yet hopeful) smirk. You scowl at his implications. Takao amusedly notes that you’re way too similar to his best friend.
“There’s no chance that we’ll ever get to that stage… ever. Okay? Satisfied now?”
“So you are disappointed at the possible outcome,” Takao gleefully says, his face showing all signs of plans being concocted in his mind. You completely widen your eyes at your simple slip-up.
“I… it’s not a possible outcome, damn it,” you vehemently insist. “It’s a guarantee.”
“Puh-lease (y/n)-chan, how do you know unless you try it?”
“Alright Takao,” you dryly reply. “Why don’t you try staring directly at the sun first before confirming that you become blind from that?”
“That’s not the same!”
“Same logic,” you huff. “Look, you know Midorima-san more than anyone, and even you know how he thinks. He finds the concept of friends and teammates to be pretty unnecessary, and frankly I can empathize with him. If he finds camaraderie to be a hassle already, dating is already beyond off the table. It takes much more to be a genuine friend to him than your average person, and if I do, by chance, confess, I’d be throwing away everything that I built up with him like an idiot… just being like this with him is more than enough for me. Besides, a relationship isn’t important right now, not when class takes up most of the time.”
“Well, normally yes, but in this specific case, there’s an excep—”
“I already came clean with this,” you say, furrowing your brows. “So can you finally let me study for this class in peace? Obviously, it’s a given for you not to open your mouth to anyone else about this.” With that, you tune out any further noise and burrow yourself into your class materials, and Takao could only sigh as he tries to wrack his brain for another way to play wingman.
“... Seriously, they’re both so stubborn.”
———
“(y/n)-san.”
“Hm?”
You turn around from looking at the bulletin to the person who just addressed you. Midorima stares down at you quite seriously before he promptly clears his throat.
“You’re blocking the way, nanodayo.”
“Ah… I apologize,” you say, immediately stepping closer to the bulletin to clear up the hallway. You turn your face to appear fixated on the bulletin board, but still sensing Midorima staring at you, you reluctantly peek at him from your peripheral vision. “... Is there something else you need, Midorima-san?” Midorima looks at the bulletin board for a moment before he turns back to your face.
“Regarding the group project we were paired to do in chemistry,” he starts, “the teacher praised our work very highly and wants to know if he can use it as an example for future lectures. I’m here to hear your answer on his behalf.”
You mentally sigh from the secretive disappointment. Of course Midorima was here for straightforward business. Nothing more, nothing less. Still, Takao’s words begin flitting through your mind now… of all times.
“Of course he can use it,” you smile. “I think it’s an honor to have our project regarded so highly like that, especially since so much effort was put into it… although… I think you’re the reason why we received such a high score, Midorima-san.” You train your gaze on Midorima, trying to gauge his reaction from the compliment, but he gives no such sign away, not any that you were aware of as far as you were concerned.
“(y/n)-san, I believe your own efforts and work ethic shouldn’t be trivialized,” Midorima replies, briefly closing his eyes and adjusting his frames. “After all, you are the one who made this project a cohesive final product, one that is also comprehensible to other peers in our presentation.”
“Ah… well…” You were definitely thrown in for a loop, not expecting Midorima to compliment you back so openly, albeit probably not for the reasons you were hoping for. “... Thank you, Midorima.” In an attempt to curb your growing flusteredness, you opted to stare at the bulletin board again, pretending to be occupied in reading the pinned papers.
“... Right.” Midorima softly clears his throat. “I’ll be taking my leave back to the faculty office. It was good talking to you.”
He swiftly turns around and walks back in the direction he came from, and when you were certain that he was walking judging from his footsteps, you turn your head to stare at his back before averting your gaze.
You frown once he exits out of your sight as you ponder about his particular diction.
“It was good talking to you”? Had Midorima ever said that to anyone before? You sigh to yourself and pinch your nose bridge to chastise yourself. Takao was right; you might’ve fallen a little too hard for the reserved individual, but even still, a relationship isn’t something you wanted to actively chase after.
Amidst your dilemma, you were completely unaware that Takao watched the entire exchange, holding back his laughter from seeing you uncharacteristically look like an absolute love-stricken fool. He got too much of a kick out of seeing the both of you trying to flirt… and an even bigger kick when he saw Midorima turning around to briefly “discreetly” stare at you while you were having your inner monologue.
———
“Takao, I’m having none of your bullshit today.” Midorima simply scowls as he prepares to leave the main building to the gym. Takao merely tags along while taunting him in a sing-song voice.
“Come onnn,” Takao insists, slapping Midorima’s back a little too harshly. “You said it yourself didn’t you? Favorable outcomes come to those who prepare the most. Don’t lie, I know you’ve been planning to naturally bump into our (y/n)-chan in different scenarios. Like yesterday in the hall—”
“You knew?!” Midorima jumps out of his skin to shoot an accusatory look at him, but Takao merely struggles to hold back a snicker at his reaction.
“Shin-chan, how hard is it to say three specific little words to someone else?” Takao sends a frustrated look. “You’ve always gone the extra mile to prepare your lucky items, read the Oha Asa predictions, and do little rituals not just for yourself but also for (y/n)-chan too, yet you don’t want to do a simple thing like confessing?”
“A confession isn’t that simple,” he retorts. “It can alter my fate for potentially worse if I’m not prepared.”
“Jeez, only you can take this so seriously,” Takao sighs, which only earned him a withering look from Midorima’s end. “But then again, it’s nice that you see it as something serious… but when are you actually gonna do it?” His response was only silence, as if he didn’t really give much thought about it until it was brought up now.
“That’s none of your concern.”
“Oh come on, Shin-chan!”
“To be honest,” he says, stopping in place. “The horoscope says that Cancers would be rejected by signs like of (y/n)-san’s, much less be compatible. Predictions state that such relationships between the two would be troublesome.”
“Okay, Shin-chan,” Takao says, patting Midorima’s shoulder. “I know I constantly joke about this Oha Asa and this entire thing with (y/n)-chan, but”—he stops when he sees Midorima giving him another scathing look—“even if the horoscopes state it so, it’s like you said: favorable outcomes come to those who do the most. If you did everything you could, I see no reason to be scared. Plus, you have me to help you.”
“... It’s not that. Part of this is beyond what I can do to prepare. Whatever I do will not influence (y/n)-san’s answer, and that is something out of my control.”
“You know, you could just say that you’re nervous.”
“I am not.”
“Well, if you want me to be honest,” Takao says. “I think it’s because the two of you are so eerily similar that you find it hard to approach (y/n)-san. Like, when’s the last time you’ve met someone as serious and stiff as yo—I’m kidding, I’m kidding! Please don’t raise your fist at me!”
“That being said,” he continues, “Just talk to (y/n) like you’ve talked to everyone else. I mean you both always hit it off when you talk together in class.”
“I… suppose…”
“Trust me,” Takao grins, slightly elbowing Midorima’s ribs. “I’d like to think of myself as an accurate guy in ball-passing and in detecting social cues.”
———
You really tried to carry yourself normally.
You really did.
But a part of you is becoming hyper-aware of everything Midorima does, and being your normally collected self is suddenly becoming a lot more difficult. Studying at your own desk is nigh impossible with both Midorima’s words and Takao’s implications running through your mind. Even Midorima, who normally minds his own business, shoots you pensive looks here and there during class, and he approaches you during break after.
“... Your sign is at one of the lowest ranks in luck today… may that be the reason why you’re not being your usual self?” He studies as you pull yourself together.
“Erm… somewhere along the lines, yeah. Most likely woke up on the wrong side of the bed today,” you mumble, rubbing your neck to ease the nervousness.
“Is that so…” he says. He pulls out a small toy that was found in the local gachapon down the street. “Ahem… I hear that your lucky item is this today.” He holds it out in front of you, silently waiting for you to take it, and you gently pluck it out of his large hands.
“Well, what about you?” you inquire. “I’m sure you got this toy for a reason, like say… for your own good luck?”
“Well,” he coughs. “I have my own. I am always prepared for such occurrences should things go awry.”
“You’re always so prepared for everything,” you quietly laugh. “Not that it’s a bad thing, though. I do wish I was more like you in that regard.”
“W-Well, I think you have your own admirable traits to be proud of, er…” Midorima slowly turns red and contemplates backtracking on his words. “I-If you excuse me, I must get going for health committee duties, nanodayo.” He heaves his bag on his shoulder as you wave at him, and he lingers there, debating on something that you aren’t sure what it is. “Might you have time afterschool today?”
“Uh… not that I think of,” you reply. “Are you already looking ahead to the next partner assignment?”
“Actually, no… it won’t take much of your time, (y/n)-san. It’s something quick. Can we meet at the vending machines near the gym? I do have practice around that time, so I hope somewhere nearby could suffice for you too.”
“That’s fine with me, because… I feel like I need to tell you something too or I won’t be able to study at this rate, but if you have practice, shouldn’t you be focused on that more?”
“It’s fine. This one takes… a higher priority.” Midorima fixes his glasses and readjusts his grip on his shoulder bag as he ponders about your own words. “If this arrangement is fine with you, I will be seeing you after school.” You only nod as you wave goodbye at him again, and you exhale a long sigh of relief and nervousness once he leaves. You really wonder if telling Midorima that you had something important to tell him was a good move on your part, considering that you can’t backtrack your words on someone as stubborn as him. Takao may or may not have seen Midorima’s attempt in being forward and silently laughed himself to oblivion in the corner of the classroom.
———
“Were you waiting long, Midorima-san?” You briskly jog with your heavy bag to the destined location to see Midorima thumbing through his book before he looks up.
“You are as punctual as always.” He closes his book with a thud and places it in his bag on the bench before he stands up to face you. “Which is always appreciated considering it is not as common in others.”
“I just think it’s common courtesy.”
“Not quite, considering I asked you rather suddenly to meet me here,” he says. “You aren’t obligated to even agree in meeting me, yet here you are on time, just like with our past project sessions.”
“Well… you did say it was important enough that you put practice as a second priority, and I do want to tell you something too.”
“R-Right…”
An awkward silence dominates the exchange after Midorima clears his throat and goes silent as you patiently wait in agony. You eye at his troubled expression, wondering what sort of thing he was going to tell you that got him so worked up. At the same time, you grew slightly antsier, quietly tapping a foot or rubbing your neck, and you wonder if Midorima was actually waiting for you to say something first.
“I… I think I’m in love with you, and that scares the crap out of me.”
“I-I believe I may have developed feelings akin to attraction for you.”
“Uh…”
“Ahem…”
Both of you stare at each other in unadulterated surprise.
“... You… like me?” Midorima murmurs, his eyes still full blown in shock.
“L-Likewise,” you reply, opting to stare at Midorima’s bag on the bench instead. Another awkward silence ensues as both of you take in each other’s sudden words and Midorima clears his throat again.
“... Why are you afraid of liking me?” Midorima restores his composure, staring at your flustered state with furrowed brows, thinking that he somehow made you uncomfortable at some point throughout the year.
“Wait… no! That’s not what I meant!” you say, mildly shaking your head. “Uh, let me rephrase that…” Midorima silently watches you as you continue. “Well, you weren’t the person to have romance in your mind, let alone have feelings, let alone for me, and… my friendship with you is something that I treasure, and I don’t want to hinder you with such things that can make you uncomfortable in being around me. That was why I was afraid, although I’ve been in denial about it until recently.”
“I see.”
“And um, I thought that confessing to you would end the friendship we had.”
“... Likewise.” Midorima uses your word against you with an upward curl of his lip. It almost seems like he was teasing you. You grow redder at his response, but he continued. “I suppose the lucky item I gave you provided the most favorable outcome for the day.” You only nod as you processed everything that just happened in a few moments, and both of you went quiet again.
“...”
“...”
“So…”
“... I’m not sure what to do next,” Midorima frowns. “I wasn’t prepared for this particular situation, nanodayo.” You only smile at his own flusters.
“Well…” you say. “We could date, but I don’t think that’s important right now, considering that we still have to focus on school… I mean unless you want to, then we can try to make it work?”
“Ahem, while I do think these things are quite frivolous,” he says. “I suppose we can learn to balance our relationship with other aspects of our lives accordingly.”
“I would like that,” you smile, walking to approach closer to Midorima. “Could we… um, hold hands? If you’re not into that though, that’s okay.” He says nothing in response but his hand slowly reaches out for your own to gently clasp, and closes his eyes in bliss before he opens them to look at you.
“... I must go to practice soon. It’s almost time.”
“I see,” you mumble. “If that’s the case, I’ll be inside the library to cram in extra lectures.” You pull your hand away to separate, but he holds you tighter. “Midorima?”
“... I’ll walk you there, nanodayo.” He peers over your face to gauge any objections on your end, but when he finds none, he gently tugs you along as you both walk to the building next-door.
“I never knew you were into hand-holding.”
“N-Not really,” he quietly says, his ears turning red.
“Actually,” you say, bringing Midorima’s attention back to you in light of the topic change. “I need to thank Takao tomorrow… he’s the one who pushed me to confess.”
“Hmph,” he scoffs. “I do suppose that the idiot has some merits to his words.”
“I do now see what he means when he keeps insisting that we’re too alike in personality and preferences.”
“That just means we’re more compatible than what fate initially predicted, nanodayo.”
“You checked the horoscopes for relationship compatibility? Never would I have thought that such things occupied your mind, Midorima…”
“Urk—That’s…”

the younger kids are so much bigger?? than everyone else.. compared to cas and his crew, they look tiny and the asa and his crew look older and broader.. even compared to cara and co they look like they'd take cara's lunch money ehejwjw but they look very cute i wish there was a preteen mod im not ready for them to grow up TT
fjksjd well asa & jada are 15 and stevie & elaine are 16 so i wouldn’t consider them preteens! but yeah they do look a little bigger!! asa is super tall & a lil chubby so he definitely looks older than he is, but he’s still baby ;-; jada is also taller/broader than the rest, but the difference is that she likes that and purposely stands/sits so she’ll be more imposing and people will leave her alone lmao. whereas asa carries himself in a smaller/more delicate way so he’ll take up less space. i feel like this is a good comparison:
Tumblr media
stevie & elaine are similar to each other because they both like being at the center of attention. they both love cuddles too :’) but stevie is more twitchy & always moving around. it’s hard for me to show all this in pics, so i try to include it in the dialogue whenever i can (ie. asa calling stevie loud; everyone knowing when elaine walked into the room). and lastly, finn is very small lmao :’) i liked the symbolism of him looking (and acting, to a certain extent) smaller, because he quite literally takes up no space:

so in conclusion!! i think i’ve just started putting a lot more thought into the way my characters look and how it affects the way they carry themselves. and i care a lot more about the height differences than i did with casper’s or cara’s groups. thanks for listening to my ted talk sjfksjd 💖

Also, bitch i will make you an Asa only blog, don't try me >:] Can i get a nice slasher on slasher action with Asa and his male slasher s/o? Not smut, but like... killer friends? Idk
📻 and ✨ believe in Asa supremacy. 🙅, the more sane mod of this blog, does not agree.
Here’s Y/N dying of dehydration that we wrote at 3 am then forgot about for a week.
Asa x Male!Slasher!Reader
God fought in your stomach, twisting and pulling delicate flesh. Bile rose in your throat, coating a dry mouth and stinging. At 5:54, you arose from the dirty mattress you slept on, pushing the ratty blanket off of your frozen body. Raising a scarred right hand, you grasp a cheap wooden table with the strength you still had, and pulled. Drilled into the floor, the table was a good counterweight as you fully rose from a would-be grave.
6:00 came and went. Your meal was nowhere to be seen. What did move, rustling from stagnant stillness and shaking dust, was a doll hung high on the ceiling. In one, beady black eye, the glint of a camera. As you stare on, you did not feel the horror surrounding you. Panic, however, drowned the god in your stomach with a mighty wave.
This was a test. You were being tested.
You ran a dirt-covered, blood-soaked hand through your disheveled hair in pure exhaustion. Your eyes flicked around the cell you were kept in, a much better fate than nailed to the wall or stuffed in a trunk. It was barren, with only your mattress and a table. Thick iron bars separated the room in half, half where you were trapped, and half for visitors to stare and marvel at the collection.  There was nothing to hold, nothing to tear or burrow or slash. Control was slipping through your fingers, and you could feel it.
"Come on, man. We were friends, remember?" You call futilely to the void of a human watching you. "I-I scratched your back, you scratched mine?"
Using charm that dodged you death row, you spread your arms wide, opening yourself up like a bear trap and inviting him to pass the glimmering steel jaws. He did not fall for your friendly tricks. He could have you open and disarmed whenever he pleased.
The city was glorious. Under your booming voice and his silent sadism, the city trembled at your feet. It was only natural to join forces, to grow above a population so doltish it left its doors wide open to you. It was only natural to see you and him were a different breed to the simpletons you tormented, and you belonged together.
He didn't see as similar as you expected, or he simply didn't see it at all. The longer you spent clawing at your own skull inside a fabric laced box, earth shattering rage screaming in your head, you realized he was a different breed entirely to you. It wasn't about control to him. It was about collection. He never saw a partner, an opportunity like you'd spent your life chasing. He saw a curious specimen, and to your fury, something below him. The longer you thought about it, pacing around your cage, the more delusional he seemed.
Instead of the devil incarnate, he believed himself to be a god higher than the one that fought in your stomach. The ultimate higher being, while a dog of order, it was all for a higher cause.
You didn't have a job, and you couldn't keep the madness out of your eyes long enough to land one. It was always someone else that provoked you, and in your reason, if they left you alone it would've all been fine. He had a stable job, and the ability to leave and flit among the herd peacefully.
You, however, put your face in the blood, left caricatures pointing out your best features on the walls. You left mangled, torn survivors to scream of your terror in hospital beds as they died. You made yourself in the headlines, carving desperately your cursed name into the stone of history and praising yourself in human sacrifice.
He didn't even leave survivors. The press couldn't even come up with a funny name to dull the horror he created. Quick and impulsive, dealing little damage that built up as the week went on, versus his calm and planned, where his bi-monthly attacks were awful enough to trump all the work you've done in a year.
With a warm smile, you tasted sweet opportunity on your tongue, and charmed your way into his life. It used to be a monthly agreement, a collaboration to bring more pain to the city for no other reason than your entertainment. Then, the schedule and him along with it, changed to satisfy your voracious need for blood. Monthly became weekly, and you'd meet him in the cobweb covered basement of a local bar. On the knife-scratched oak table, he would display his week's work, blueprints and careful planning. He carried detail in every operation, and took twisted pride in discerning to you each step of the plan. It warmed your small, black heart how he showed you just how the night's activities would play out, just for your itchy trigger finger to ruin it all and force him to improvise.
While he wore his mask around the clock, you thought it looked nice in the dim lighting shady bar basements provided. You knew it looked better when it was covered in blood, multicolored LEDs bathing the dance floor in deep purples and blues, screaming mingling with pounding and high beat music. Impulse ran your very existence, somewhere around your first or second kill you realized it didn't matter what happened. We all die in the end, you either kill yourself or get killed. Not a second thought passed your mind after the first, solidified idea came, and you pressed in. The blood you'd smeared on your face as a makeshift mask smudged on his. Halfheartedly, he shoved an arm between the two of you, his slim knife catching on your shoulder. A survivor huddled in on herself as she pushed against the shadow darkened wall desperately, whimpering as she watched with eyes blown wide you pushing him back into the pool of blood on the floor. Someone important once said 'Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer', and you couldn't get closer than that.
You lick your lips, and no moisture transferred between. Time was running out. Pent up anger vibrated in your bones, and you begin to snap your fingers impatiently.
"Come on, I'm not asking for much. I'm sure there's a hell of a lot more people you've got who ask for more. All I want is some water. Simple thing." Most importantly, you did not plead. You bargained. "Just a little aqua, compadre."
He never was a fan of your quirky sort of humor, and even in the face of dehydration, you smiled the charming smile of a dysfunctional bear trap.
Every piece of furniture in the hotel, from pure hell to castle-like, was carefully chosen to not only appear luxurious. It struck fear, the sheer normality and absurdity both. He drummed his fingers on the table, entertainment in both glowing eyes as he watched you flail wildly, desperate to catch the camera’s eye. The dim room he sat in was illuminated by only the screens before him, buzzing with knowledge and control. Beside him, sitting on the uninteresting wooden table, a tall glass of water. Cold to the point sweat had begun rolling off the clear glass, fresh from a tap, and what you were dying for kept just out of reach.
An alarm cried, beckoning for his attention. He tilts his head to the sound, a warm expression on his face as he thinks.
You'll survive just a few more minutes.

Thoughts on the Finale
So on the off-chance that my followers care about what I thought of the finale, I wrote a 1,700-word meta. I know, probably overkill, but here it is. In summary: I know the finale was really unpopular with many people. Dean dying early, not addressing Cas’s confession, no reunion with their found family, etc. But I loved it. I was happy and satisfied with the ending. It’s not easy wrapping up a show like this, but it’s just what I needed. Here’s my thoughts on the finale and a defense of some of the things people were upset about:
The Timing of Dean’s Death
Okay, so I know a lot of people are upset about Dean’s death, that he didn’t get to live a full life like Sam did. It is pretty upsetting. (Mainly, I really wish he’d gotten a chance to be a dad.) And I see how it conflicts with the theme of the season, which is free will and defying the fate of dying a violent death while hunting that they expected.
On the other hand, I think Dean was satisfied with his life when he died. It was the death he was always expecting and had accepted. He did a lot of good in his life and really he just wanted peace at that point, you know? Sure, he could’ve lived a longer life but I don’t think he felt like he was missing out when he died. Personally, I doubt he would’ve given up hunting, so his life would’ve been more of the same until he died, still probably from hunting. A full life would’ve been great, but Heaven was great for him too.
[Edit: Just read a post where they mentioned Dean was tired which was a point that was made again and again in the show and I think that’s part of why how he went out is okay! He loved hunting, he loved hunting with his brother, but it’s not sustainable and it wore him out and his peace is Heaven rather than an apple pie life, and that’s okay.]
The Manner of Dean’s Death
I sort of wish Dean’s death had been a little more dramatic. I mean, he did just defeat God and everything. And then he gets taken out by a spike in the wall? But I was okay with the hunt-gone-wrong thing. It seemed like sort of a lame death, but remember Asa Fox, the other legendary hunter? He died from tripping and hitting his head on a rock after his friend pushed him, so. It’s not unheard of, even for great hunters. And Dean would’ve died after being electrocuted in a pool of water in season 1 if a reaper hadn’t saved him. Unlucky deaths… Yeah, they happen.
But I do think it would’ve been good to have a more death-y death because Dean standing against a post didn’t give the immediacy of dying that some of the other deaths. He did have a couple of pained gasps and all that, but there wasn’t really blood showing or the obviousness of being so close to death, not the way that his Metatron death scene gave, for example.
Still though, I really did love the death scene. Like, I hated it, because it was heartbreaking and it made me cry, but it was just really emotional in the best way. Everything Dean said to Sam about looking up to him, and how he felt when he went to see Sam at Stanford, and then “I love you so much. My baby brother.” And then the forehead touch.
Honestly I sort of get the feeling they killed Dean off early just so that they could give us one last, weighty goodbye scene to be emotional about. Remember how much it hurt when Dean said goodbye before going to hell in season three? Or when Sam said goodbye in season 5 before saying yes to Lucifer? Or in season 11 when Dean went to stop Amara? That was all really good stuff. This was one last sendoff they couldn’t have given us if Dean had just lived his normal life.
Sam’s Life
I’m at least glad Sam got to live his life. That’s been his dream over and over since when he was a kid, when he went to college, when he took a year off with Amelia… And he finally got to have it. I’m not set on this opinion but, because of their codependency, I don’t think either Dean or Sam could’ve had something like that with each other in their lives, so Dean’s death ultimately sort of allowed Sam to live. If that makes sense.
What hurt me the most about this whole episode is that Sam had to live decades without his brother. They had thirty-seven years together (give or take a few missing years in the middle), which is a long time, but since Sam died of old age, that’s like half his lifetime without his brother! Decades!!!! I really wonder how Sam’s memory of Dean changed over that time, as he became a more and more distant memory…
zmediaoutlet had a cute post-episode Heaven fic where Dean and Sam are reunited and Sam has all the time he needs to tell Dean about every single part of his life. Even though Dean wasn’t there for it, he could get caught up in Heaven, which was… Just a nice thought. In my opinion.
We needed some closure on Eileen :(
Okay, so I was happy with how the show did Dean and Sam’s deaths. But they did leave us hanging on some pretty important things. Like, where the fuck was Eileen? Last we heard about her, Sam was crying about losing her after she got Thanos-snapped by Chuck. Presumably she came back, but even though she and Sam had been dating, he never checked in on her. And then Sam had a faceless wife. Couldn’t they have given us something more? John Winchester has shown up in flashbacks without being played by JDM or shown clearly and it’s obvious it’s him. They couldn’t have done something similar for Eileen? Like, Sam signing something to her as she watches him play catch in the backyard with Dean Jr.? I’m just gonna assume the faceless wife was Eileen, but some official endorsement would’ve been nice.
We really needed some closure on Cas :(((
Cas confessed his love to Dean in 15x18! Romantic love, according to the writers and actors!! This is a really big deal!!! But we never got to hear Dean’s thoughts. He never talked about it. The crying in the bunker after losing Cas, that really showed his grief, I thought. But we never actually got to see him react beyond that.
I read that, based on Becky’s Funko Pop set-ups, there was foreshadowing that Cas and Dean would at some point be outside the Harvelles’ Roadhouse together, and that this should’ve happened in the finale and probably would’ve if it hadn’t been for casting restrictions due to COVID. So. I’m just gonna go with saying that happened off-camera, and that Dean and Cas were reunited in Heaven. And that’s what fics are for! Maybe Dean’s straight and/or maybe he didn’t reciprocate. But maybe he did and he and Cas are in love and living(?) happily in Heaven together. The show never told us, which is kind of sad, because that would’ve been a nice, official ending. But it’s nice to have it open, too.
Is Heaven as an ending sort of a copout?
I read a post that said that Heaven as an ending is a copout because why even bother living if you’re going to eternal happiness in the end? Which is, you know, a pretty good point. I’ve said before that the Winchesters fight way too hard to bring people back when those people are happy in heaven. Like, remember when they were heartbroken over Rowena’s death? And then it turned out she was “living” her best life as the Queen of Hell and wondering why she’d been so worried about dying in the first place.
Anyway, some type of eternal afterlife has been inevitable since the very beginning of the show, so this has always been a point. It’s not just a finale thing used as a convenient way to wrap it up with a happy ending. It is a logical happy ending. Seriously.
I think there’s a couple things that kept the boys going. One, they had to keep living so they could effectively fight forces not only of Earth, but of Heaven, Hell, etc. as well. They were making the world a better place not just for the people who were living in it, but for the people who had passed and were in Heaven as well. Also they got a lot of closure they couldn’t have gotten if they were dead, e.g. against Azazel, etc. I feel like not getting that would’ve haunted them, even if they were in Heaven.
Second, you can’t really have new experiences in Heaven. Based on what Bobby said about time passing differently, you just sort of hang out in a blissed out state with your loved ones. Presumably there can be changes in relationships, but no one in Heaven is gonna work on a career, or have kids, stuff like that. Sam got that when he lived his life, and I think he needed to have that in a way that Dean didn’t.
The Winchesters changed heaven!
Also, it’s important to note that sure, if Sam and Dean had just decided Heaven was way more worth it than Earth, and they hadn’t brought each other back again and again, they would’ve saved themselves a lot of suffering. But then Heaven would be way different than how it ended. No more corrupt angels running things, no more threat of evil archangels, no more God interested in a story more than the well-being of the souls in his universe. Jack was good because of their efforts, and he’s just the God the universe needed. (And also Heaven was pretty close to shutting down from a lack of angels to power it so that would’ve sucked.) Basically, in summary, their lives and what they did with them is specifically what allowed them to have eternal peace and happiness. So they had good, meaningful lives. They changed things for everyone, everywhere, and now they deserve Heaven.
In summary
They carried on, and there was peace when they were done. What more can we ask for from a finale?

1 Kings 14:1-15:24, Acts 10:1-23, Psalms 133:1-3, Proverbs 17:7-8
Today is the 15th day of June welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I’m Brian it is great to be here with you as we move into our week, continue our journey through this month of June, and continue our journey through the Bible. So, we’re in the book of first Kings in the Old Testament and things have kinda fallen apart. So, Solomon had his reign, brought Israel to its apex. His son Rehoboam succeeded him as king but 10 of the tribes defected or rebelled or abandoned Rehoboam’s rule and…and abandoned the house of David, for that matter and have appointed their own king's name is Jeroboam. He’s the King of Israel while Rehoboam, Solomon's son is king of Judah. Rehoboam is…it would be good…Jeroboam and Rehoboam sound very similar. So, it's easy for us to get kind of mixed up. It would be good for us to just know who we’re talking about here. Jeroboam the King of Israel, the 10 tribes of the north has lead Israel into idolatry by setting up golden calves in Dan in the north and Bethel in the South. Those are the borders of his kingdom. And now a nation that was once one chosen people has been divided into two different nations who have animosity for each other. So, we pick up that story. We’ reading from the New Living Translation this week. First Kings 14:1 through 15:24.
Commentary:
Alright. So, in the Old Testament today in the book of first Kings, now is the time that we've gottta…we’ve gotta pay attention to the fact that these 12 tribes that we watched form…I mean we watched the 12 sons who whose offspring became the 12 tribes of Israel, we watched them be born and we watched them in slavery, we watched all of the things that they did, including the wandering in the wilderness but they unified as a people, as a family. And this family was united under King Saul. But then…well…we know the story that happened there. And, so, the house of David rose up and the tribes had all ratified this. This king who was from Judah was going to be king of Israel. They all had to get behind this. And, so, they got behind David. And remember the story of David. We see why they got behind David, because everybody knew he was running from Saul and everybody knew he was a great leader in Israel. So, when David died Solomon ascended to the throne, although there was…there was some drama, some significant drama involved in that, but Solomon ascended the throne and brought this unified Israel, this unified monarchy to its apex. And then Solomon drifted away from God. And it…you know…it was a brief description of what happened. The wives and concubines that he had, he started trying to pacify them and let them worship their own gods and he was seduced away. We’ll…we’ll hear more about these things as we continue through the Bible, especially when we do the book of Ecclesiastes. But after Solomon's reign things fell apart. So, Solomon's son, David's grandson, Rehoboam became king of Israel and everybody came together to ratify that he would be the king over all the tribes of Israel, but he was arrogant and he told the people, especially of the northern tribes that he was going to make life even more difficult for them than his father had made. And, so, they rebelled and made Jeroboam their king. And now there are 10 tribes in the north, the nation of Israel and two tribes in the south, the nation of Judah. I say all that by way of review because we are in the books of the Kings, the books of the kings of Judah and Israel. And they…they weren't born and they didn't die on the same day. So, there's gonna be plenty of overlap. Like even in today's reading, Jeroboam the King of Israel in the North has been prophetically rejected by God, but his reign went on for a couple of decades. In the meantime, Rehoboam lived and reigned and his son succeeded him, and his grandson succeeded him, and we see…we should note that the kings of Israel and Judah, after Solomon's reign, they were not loyal to their covenant with God until king Asa of Judah, which we briefly read about today, began to turn things back around, began to serve God as his ancestor King David had done. So, in so many ways it is like we’re repeating the book of Judges only in a very organized political military. Again, in the book of Judges everybody's doing what's right in their own eyes and now everybody can’t do what’s right in their own eyes. The king can. But this thing that they thought was gonna unite them and make everything better was just a brief temporary fix. The thing that will hold them together is their covenant with God but seems to be the thing that’s disposable. And we will continue this journey as we move through many, many generations and centuries of Kings who ruled in Israel and who ruled in Judah.
In the New Testament some pretty significant developments are happening in the book of Acts, things that have implications that are far, far, far reaching and actually craft the story of the early church. So Cornelius, Roman centurion, is a God-fearing man. And this is what the Hebrew people called a Gentile person who wasn't converting to Judaism but was attempting to live among the Hebrew people and worship among the people and honor the God of the Hebrew people. They were God-fearing and respected, and this was a respected man who had a vision telling them to send for Peter. Like just send some people south out of Joppa and get Peter and bring him back because he had some things to say. So, he does obey that. Meanwhile, Peter’s on the roof of a house in Joppa having a vision of his own – a sheet coming down full of animals that are, under the Mosaic law, unclean. And Peter is being told to eat those animals, like…like to disobey the law. Like something new is afoot and Peter is confused. He's like, “I've never…like I can't. I've never done anything like that…like this. I've never let anything unclean touch my lips to eat them.” And then in the vision he’s told what God has made clean is clean. Like, so something new is happening. And then these people arrive to…to pick up Peter and Peter’s told to go with them. We have to remember that Cornelius is not a Hebrew, he’s a Gentile. And the things that Peter’s seen in this sheet; those are the kinds of things that Gentiles eat. They’re unclean. And we are beginning to practically see that this new thing that God is doing in the world through Jesus, this thing that's forming in the world called the church that is evolving right after Jesus ministry may in fact be a little different than anybody was thinking because up until this point, Jesus was considered by some to be the Hebrew Messiah, pretty much rejected by most. That could be true. But everything Jesus had done was in a Hebrew context, and His ministry was in a Hebrew context to mostly Hebrew people and His message was very, very much in the Hebrew context. He was a rabbi who commented on all on the customs and on the Hebrew people. So, what's going on here with an angel telling a Gentile to go get Peter? And what's going on here with Peter seeing unclean things that are now permitted? A vast shift with far, far reaching implications is afoot in the early church in the book of Acts. And we will watch that come to fruition in the days ahead.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for your word. We thank you for your faithfulness to us in our lives. And father as we come to the Scriptures each day, we ask that you would lead us into all truth. This is a promise one that we hold onto. And, so, we continue our journey forward believing that you will continue to lead and guide our steps through the Scriptures, through our understanding of them, and through the way that we live our lives because of them. Come Holy Spirit we pray. In the name of Jesus we ask. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hello DAB this is David the beloved child of God in Northern California it’s been well over a year since I’ve called in. I’m still involved with young life doing ministry to adolescents and you could be praying for that community all over the world. It’s been especially hard in the COVID-19 pandemic. And young life camps are closed throughout America this summer. So, pray for creativity for young life leaders. Also, I just want to say, Jesse from Washington. I don’t know what it is about you brother but every time you call in I just…you’re on my heart. You’ve been on my prayer list for many, many months and I’m praying for you. Just know that. I’m not very good about praying a lot of the phone here but for some reason you’re the one guy that I just continually…every time I hear you call and it just piques my ears and I pay attention. Praying for faithfulness. Praying for you specifically to stay faithful to your wife. Stay strong stay encouraged. And then finally family, I would ask that you would pray for my neighbors Randall and Debra. Randall has stage IV cancer. Doctors aren’t given him much prognosis for a healthy lifestyle going forward and maybe two years to live at the most. First off and more than anything I ask that you would be praying for a miracle. My wife and I are praying for him and his wife is really losing hope. So, pray for Deborah that she would have hope. Pray for a miracle for Randall who is also having trouble sleeping. Jesse also just want to let you know I’m praying against all the attack of gossip that your wife is experiencing. Stay strong family. Love you. Bye-bye. This is David the Beloved from Northern California.
Good morning DABbers this is in response to Abby who called in and to the mothers who are weary of being afraid of what might happen to their children of…and for the families who have lost members to violence. I don’t have my own wisdom other than to say I long Lord to be a part of the solution and not the problem. So, I want to pray for Micah 6:8. What does the Lord require of you? To do justice. To love kindness. To walk humbly with your God. So, Lord I pray that You would work justice in my heart, in my thoughts, in my words to others, and my actions. Open my eyes to see injustice around me and give me the courage to speak and act against it. Lord, let me show kindness to all I encounter, to remember that they are made in Your image and so treat others as Kin. And Lord let me walk humbly with You, banish pride, and to love in Your name. I pray wisdom and humility in our leaders. Oh Lord, help our country Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name. Amen.
I am a longtime listener and a first-time caller and I’m just going to call myself Virginia from Dallas because that’s who I am. My name is Virginia and I’m living in Dallas Texas. And at the beginning of the year, Daniel the Kingdom Seeker sung a song and…and he released a word and it said “rest, trust and worship.” And I realized how much we were going to need that as we began our journey through 2020 - the rest, the trust in our God, and the worship that will get us through. And, so, daily when I…when I start my work day of course it’s at home now and part of the prayer that I pray it says rest trust and worship and O Lord even in this day’s most stressful moments may I rest in you. Increase my love for Your word and Your people and let passion rise within me. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit rise inside of me in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus, in the matchless name of our Savior. And I just wanted to say to my brother how much I appreciate that word and how it has carried me through the tribulations of 2020. I love you DABbers. I listen and I pray along with you. I remember you. I love you. And I thank God for community that understands the power of love and prayer. Brian…
I would just like to ask for prayer request. I’m in a marriage. I accepted Christ about six years ago and my husband has not, and this causes me to struggle with my faith. So, right now I’m just struggling really hard trying to believe God’s word and deal with my husband at the same time. It just keeps putting doubts in my head. So, I’m just…just requesting prayer for me for like God to strengthen my faith and pray for my husband that isn’t saved. Thank you so much. I just joined this about a week ago and I’m loving it and I wish that I joined it so I could have been a part of this from the beginning of the year, but I’m thankful that it is now part of my life and I’m getting in the word more. So, I’m thankful for that and if you could just please lift me and my husband up in prayer and most importantly pray for my strength in…in God and these doubts from the enemy just stop because I feel like I’m being attacked right now. Thank you and have a great day.
Hello Daily Audio Bible family this Taria calling from Chicago. I’ve called in a couple of times before with prayer requests for my family and to offer encouragement to others but today I’m calling because I just learned that a gentleman that’s done some work with me around my house for the better part of 10 years now just shared with me that his son and his wife have recently passed away. He lost his son earlier this year and lost his wife just not even a month ago. He and his wife came to America over 40 years ago to build a better life for them and their small family. He is now here separated from the majority of his family from his home country and his support system and it just breaks my heart that such a wonderful hard-working loving person is just dealing with so much on top of everything else that’s going on in 2020. So, I’m just asking for the Daily Audio Bible family to pray for Mr. Batista, that he can get through this extremely difficult time and just be surrounded by all the love and faith and endurance that it’s gonna require of him to…to stay strong. Thank you very much.
Good morning prodigal I’m glad to hear your story. You know what? Israel fell to pieces because they didn’t know who they are. America falls to pieces because she’s been torn apart by her internal strife. My family was torn apart because we didn’t know who we were and that’s how it’s been. But I know I’ve got a Father who cares about justice. I’ve got a God of hope as it says in Romans. It fills me with all joy and peace as I serve Him. And I know that He cares to put good food on my plate, He cares about who I am because my Father is the prize…kind of person I want to be. My Father walked here on earth in the person of Jesus Christ. He showed exactly what sort of family I’m a part of. And prodigal I’m proud to be in your family. I’m proud to call you my brother and I’m also proud that we have a Father that cares to do justice in the courts of heaven. And that’s exactly where we belong. Even on this moment on our knees while were waiting for revival to break out in America where there’s fighting and violence on the spirit of consternation and if frustration and of anger has its way, I know that the Holy Spirit is on the wave behind that. I know that my God is great and just, greatly to be praised. His Angels are mighty and waiting for us to pray the word and to release them into the atmosphere around these cities. He’s waiting for us to be strong in Him not in who we are here in flesh but in Spirit. And I praise the Lord for watching over ...
Convicted Beyond Measure what a glorious and beautiful name. I heard your prayer, your plea this morning and was overwhelmed with the heart of the Lord for you. A sweet and soft kind love, the embrace of a loving parent who weeps over their child in sadness and in joy. And what a wonderful name Convicted Beyond Measure, for conviction in Christ is the realization of how much we are loved. Lord I ask for my sibling that you give them peace, peace not in their emotions but peace in their soul knowing that You are in control. Lord, open their eyes to Your work that they might not be distracted by their own faults and flaws or distracted by the works of the enemy but see Your hand in all things and hold fast to that so that they may follow You and bring healing and love and joy and peace and kindness and gentleness wherever they go just as their Father and their brother Lord Jesus Christ did before them. Amen.

Negotiation in a Fiery Alliance: Ch 2. First Impression
Travel to the country would be quicker than the other allied partners. At the very least, it was located next to Hyrule. Malik had let his wife chat up with T0-D, who was surprisingly ok with answering all his questions regarding his machinery. Unfortunately, he couldn't spend quality time with her with the android being with them. Kahli, on the other hand, stay under the Gerudo, and used the isolation to make quiet love with his wife, holding her close and teasing her body with massages before giving in to his more lustful desires.
Malik woke up from a nap, finding that they were about to arrive. "Asa, I hope you and T0-D weren't discussing anything too wild while I was asleep?"
"If you call Toddy telling me about his parts wild." Asakonigei made a horrible pun with a grin. She had been holding her husband's head in her lap, running her hands through his hair. "Enjoy your nap?"
"We're the wild ones, Kahli can't keep his hands to himself." Zizi was particularly enamored with her husband and his magic hands. Not to mention, when he heated his palms and massaged her sore back, she was literally putty in his hands. "I'm ready to rest. The meetings don't start till tomorrow, right?"
"From what Zarazu said, we'll rest today, then discussion is tomorrow."
"I'll be glad to just unpack."
"Observation: We are arriving to the capital."
"Oh, Zarazu was not kidding," Zizi gasped as she saw the city from above. "The capital Ewald is... it sparkles!"
"There's so many buildings made of metal and... oh, the stained glass is so lovely!" Asakonigei leaned forward, hugging Malik from behind. "The whole city looks like something from a fairy tale book!"
Malik viewed the masterful city down below. Centuries of potential to grow and prosper had lead to a country full of wonder. "This is what happens when your country isn't constantly laid siege to..."
"Let's hope Queen Annuciata is ready for our arrival."
~
"No, I said the red gown, I am not wearing that tacky green one, it is so last year." The queen of Danjur told her maidservants as one worked on her hair and the other fetched her shoes. "Get out the rubies with the diamonds, not the rubies with the gold, mind you. And where is my rogue? I won't present to the ambassadors or the Empress looking like a two bit whore."
"Yes, my queen."
"And make sure my useless brothers are there to greet them properly, then bring them to me in the throne room."
"Yes, my queen."
Another servant ran in, giving a bow. "My Queen. The ambassadors to Hyrule have just flown in."
"Good." Annuciata held out her hand and another maidservant handed her a fan. "Make sure the dragons have suitable accommodations, and make sure our esteemed guests have their quarters ready. Can't have them thinking we live in a sewer ditch." After the queen deemed herself presentable, her long red gown trailed behind her as she exited her bedchambers, four maidservants carrying the train. As she walked in heels, she asked, "Is the feast ready? I won't have my guests hungry."
"Yes my Queen. We have taken the proper requirements to make sure they will be absolutely satisfied."
"And the dragons?" Annuciata fanned her face.
"The fishery has spent weeks preparing fresh live fish to be captured and put in tanks. Only the best, even for Dragons."
"Good." Annuciata then made her way to the throne room, but before she went inside, she took a deep breath. "Now..." The queen waited for the servants to open the door and then gracefully strutted her way to the throne. The guests would arrive any moment, and first impressions were always a must.
Kahli took a deep breath. T0-D had decided to wait for Zannah to arrive and accompany her. Without the android, Kahli realized he'd be the very first impression of a Hasai to the Queen of Danjur. The weight of making a good impressions weighed on his shoulders. Hopefully Malik would take charge.
The Gerudo Lord of Hyrule made sure to wear something striking, something that told others he was still powerful. He never considered style before, but he had to wear the right clothing. Just strolling in with a massive suit of armour didn't cut it anymore. He was no mere solider. He was Lord. And he'd come across as such. He made sure he handsome, held some secret protection, stylish, and even a little intimidating. Waiting to be escorted in, he walked into the throne room with his wife and Kahli and Zizi behind him.
"Malik, don't be so tease." Asakonigei whispered to him before the group walked into the throne room. Her husband had a 'tell' when he was stressed. While as a commander, he had nerves of steel and could keep his wits, when there was an issue bothering him, Malik kept reaching for his sword, as if expecting a battle. "You look so handsome, after all, I picked out this outfit for you and I'll get to take it off of you later."
"You all right?" Zizi asked her husband as she squeezed his hand. "Remember, I'm here with you."
As the group of ambassadors made their entrance, Annuciata was all about her overall image. There she sat on her throne, fan in hand with the train of her dress trailing down the stairs. There was sun coming in from the stained glass which reflected different colors on the floor and illuminated her jewelry. Not only was she wearing the top standard of finery for clothes and jewels, there were also adornments in her hair. Her face was coated in makeup, giving the queen an extra flare.
Malik made sure to tell his wife ahead of time that the compliments he'd give Annuciata would be simply words. Arriving in her presence of the Queen, he gave a light bow of his head. "Greetings Queen Annuciata. I am Lord Malik of Hyrule. This is my wife, Lady Asakonigei. I wish to say that flying in, your city is as beautiful as you. I hope you will share its charm."
"It is lovely to make your acquaintance, Queen of Danjur."
Asakonigei bowed as well, making sure she looked stunning as well. Since her husband loved gold, she opted to wear a tight fitted gown, fit and mermaid flare. The dress was made entirely of sequins, sparkling like the metal the Kovina used on her husband's Iron Knuckle gown. Zizi, pregnant and wide, decided to chose a dress less flashy and more so comfortable, a simple green lace gown with a few adornments of bling here and there. She held onto Kahli's arm as the pair walked to the queen of Danjur.
"It is pleasing to meet all of you." Annuciata rose from her seat and took the steps one by one in slow fashion, letting her red gown flow behind her. "I trust your travels were well?"
"They were. I trust that we haven't kept you waiting. Is the Emperor here as well?"
"Empress Zannah is currently being seen to in her chambers." Annuciata explained to the group. "Something about a bit of nausea after riding in one of our Land Riders. She will make her debut later. For now, I have a feast prepared for you all, as well as chambers for your comfort." She gestured for her guests to follow her. "My chefs have prepared nothing but the best for you all." The queen then got to the point. "Kahli, is it? Tell me of your Empress and your people. I have had dealings with Hylians long enough to know what to expect. The Lorleidians have also been pleasant and cordial. I know little of the Kikai Empire."
Kahli was taken by surprise, but held it secret very well. "My people? What would you like to know? I'm sure that when Zannah arrives she can tell you more. My history with the Hasai is held dark chapters, but I am now moving on from that. I suppose the same can be said for my people's history as well."
"I'm sure the empress will be able to give me all the facts of history, power, and conquest, perhaps a love story or two, but I am interested in your personal thoughts." Annuciata sat at the head of the table filled with food to the brim. "There is a difference between the mind of an empress and one of her people. Speak."
Everyone took their seats, Kahli included. It seemed that he had no choice but to speak. He decided that the truth would be the most beneficial. Zannah would be wise enough to show how far she's worked against the atrocities. "Very well Queen Annuciata. The Hasai are made of multiple tribes. These tribes have been categorized by our skin colours, but more importantly our abilities. But first, a question for you. What do you know of war?"
"Danjur has crushed any enemy daring to cross our mountains or invade our seas." Annuciata was not subtle about her dislike for war. "However, we have been fortunate enough to make allies instead of foes. I am curious about your abilities. Is it similar to the Lorleidians? Or different?" The servants filled each person's glass full of wine, until one reached for Zizi's. "Idiot, can you not see the woman is pregnant? Go fetch her a drink of her choice."
"I apologize, my queen, though the kitchen menu orders---"
"Are you deaf or dumb? Perhaps both? Go get her a different drink, fool."
"Yes, my queen, I'm sorry, my queen."
"See it doesn't happen again."
Kahli held his tongue as the Queen chastised her servant. "The reason I bring up war, is because my people are natural users of the element of fire. Masters even, that can even make a Vatra seem like kindle." The Waku quickly patted Zizi's hand. "No offense to Zolori of course."
Taking a breath, he went back to his history speech. "And we used fire to destroy. War and battle was glory in our history. Unfortunately, we even destroyed each other. The Ocho clan, the royals that Zannah descends from, grew jealous of my clan, the Waku. We started to gain power as strong as them, so Zannah's descendants decided to exterminate my people. This lead to a quick and violent conflict that wiped out the Waku, the Hasai Dragons, and our original homeland. From that war, the Hasai only had less than half a century to find new land. So taking everything, they sought to conquer new lands. This lead to the brutal and fiery war against Hyrule. I was only a child and did not take part than. The survivors of my people were hunted down, myself include. If it wasn't for Zannah wanting to find peace, and bring more balance and rebuild our people, than I'd most certainly be dead."
Malik tapped his thigh underneath the table at even the mention of the war. Kahli looked over the Queen, wondering what more she wanted to see and hear. "As abilities go, being Waku means I have control of fire, and even lightning, like the sky. And like Zannah, we are the only two to make a pact with our god for even more power. I can incinerate creatures down to atoms, or cause them to explode, simply by giving them a touch. That is my gift that I was granted. I know not if I have more."
"It sounds like you are an object of power not only to your empress, but built to destroy." Annuciata saw no reason to hold back on the bluntness of her words. "Power is a lustful, corrupting objective, however, it seems you are firmly rooted to your lover and your home. I wonder why you wouldn't use such might to simply take what you want? Or is it because you wish to hold onto ideals of peace? It's amusing."
Zizi held onto Kahli's hand tightly under the table. She was not sure how he would take the queen's words, but both of them were warned that Annuciata was quite forward and said exactly what she thought. All she wished was for this meeting to go well.
"My husband is a good man, Queen Annuciata." Zizi told the ruler of Danjur. "What power he has is to help his people and mine. He doesn't have it for war."
"Seeking absolute power corrupts. Look at Ganon. Or even to my own people. I have this power, but I can walk from it away as well. To do so, is true strength." Kahli squeezed Zizi's hand back. "I have everything I could ever want. A wife. Children. And a job where I can simply be at peace tending the flowers."
"Interesting, a man of power who tends to the plantations of his home." Annuciata chuckled at the thought. "So adorable. Though, you, Lady Asakonigei, my servants told me you are a Kovina." The queen turned her attention to Malik's wife. "Won him over with a suit of... gold, I believe it was?"
"I made him an Iron Knuckle armor suit, Queen Annuciata." Asakonigei clarified. "He made the request for a suit of armor and I simply made a few changes to suit his heritage."
"She also made my right arm. Her craft is unmatched. A woman of steel nerves who mastered steel itself. I'd say that there is no one else who could have won my heart." Malik turned to give his wife a light smile.
"Oh, a blacksmith? I don't think I've ever met a woman who worked with metal like you do, Lady Asakonigei." Annuciata then clasped her hands together. "Show me a demonstration?"
"A... demonstration?"
"Yes, I've heard that you made marvelous suits of armor." She glanced to her guards. "Pull one of them forward. I wish to see your magic in action."
"Oh! ... I... I don't want to hurt one---"
"Oh, tsk, tsk, just drag one toward us."
"I... very well."
Asakonigei selected one of the bigger guards and hesitantly used her magic to pull him by the weapon in his hand. He was startled by his spear suddenly being yanked forward, grunting and trying to pull it back, but she moved him, entire suit of armor and all.
Malik gave a light smile. A display of power was good in his eyes. Showed the Queen exactly what Hyrule was made up of now. Kahli, however, frowned, disapproving a display of such strength. Power was not used for the amusement of others. It was weapon, and like any weapon, should only be used in serious situations.
"Oh, what a nifty little trick!" Annuciata was obviously impressed. "So not only do you forge metal, you actually do control it. I thought Queen Zarazu was simply bragging about the abilities of Lorleidians. Obviously, she was not." She looked at Zizi. "So that means you really can command plants at will."
"Yes, Queen Annuciata." Zizi gave a slight nod of her head. "I use my magic to benefit my kingdom by feeding the people and tending to the plantations. My husband helps me with the work."
"Tell me, sister of the queen, what is your favorite plant to grow?"
"My favorite? There's so many to chose from."
"Oh, please, you must have one."
"Well... Kahli and I first met in one of my greenhouses while I was tending to some arrowroot." Zizi held her husband's hand. "It's used to fight infections, and isn't the most flaunting of plants, but to me, it's special because that's when I met Kahli."
Kahli squeezed Zizi's hand once more. She knew just what to say to warm his heart. His perfect flower. In the middle of talks and drinking though, a servant ran in. "My Queen. The Empress has arrived. She's awaiting invitation to be let in."
"Invitation? Why would she be here unless I invited her, you daft fool!" Annuciata barked an order at the servant. "You dare to keep her waiting? Show her in!"
The servant stuttered an apology before scrambling to show in the Hasai Empress.
Black Royal Hasai Guards escorted Zannah in. To be courteous, the Emperor of the Kikai Empire only brought two. Enough to cover her flank, and show she wasn't a fool to come alone. To appear unhostile, Zannah opted out of her usual royal armour. No need for fancy capes or steel wrapped around her figure for negotiations. Instead, she wore tight, pattern filled dress, in tradition to Danjur culture. She wanted to show she showed her knowledge of studying the lands culture before visiting. Behind her, T0-D flanked her, being ordered to be quiet unless spoken to. Her dress was a striking purple against her emerald skin, and her golden eyes laid on the group at the table. Even Malik was shook by her appearance. When she spoke, she was powerful, clear, and sounded even young, and her golden eyes laid upon the ruler. "Queen Annuciata. Apologies for the wait. I'm so glad to finally meet your acquaintance."
"The same goes for me, Empress Zannah. I hope you're feeling better?" Annuciata asked of the empress. "I apologize for not warning you beforehand about the Land Riders. First time goers are usually a little off put by the motion, and you seemed so keen on trying out one of our fine pieces of technology. Please, sit. If the food does not suit you, I can have my chefs make you a different dish."
"It was not an issue, I assure you." Zannah took her seat, eyes focused on the Queen. "Please, fill me in on the discussion I have missed up until now."
"Ah, just friendly conversation up until now." Annuciata chuckled lightly. "Kahli was giving me some Kikai culture incentives, Zizi was filling me in on their romance, Lady Asakonigei was so kind to demonstrate a Kovina's ability, and Lord Malik... well, we haven't gotten to him just yet."
"I see. I hope Kahli only spoke the truth. He is a great example of how Hasai can co-exist with other cultures. But we can save that for negotiations tomorrow. Please, turn your attention to... Lord Malik? Yes... Afterall, he arrived first."
Malik already felt like Zannah held something against him, but what?
"Oh, I think Kahli knows better than to lie, Empress. After all, he is representing Hyrule and the King and Queen chose him and his wife for this task. He wouldn't want to fail them." Annuciata looked at Malik. "Yes, you're the odd one, Lord Malik. Until recently, I haven't heard of you in Hyrule's ranks."
Malik knew his test would begin now. "I have always been an observer to Hyrule. I even met you when you were but a child, visiting Covarog for his birthday. I am power and the strong arm of Hyrule. My responsibilities is to keep it safe, and its people safe. The title of Lord was not necessary until recently."
"...? When I was a child? I am confused, Lord Malik, you don't look a day over fifty." The Queen of Danjur thought he was jesting. "Come now, tell me of your history."
"My history is my own. I have been on all sides of conflict in my years. I've followed heroes, villains, would be conquerors and mighty tyrants. And I've been told I look younger thirty. Magic is a law of our world that all cultures use, myself being no exception. I have taken many identities Queen Annuciata. While those other identities are still a part of me, my title now, Lord Malik, is the greatest of them all."
"All right, keep your secrets." Annuciata thought it would be best to pester him for answers later. "Please eat and enjoy the food, and..." She paused for a moment, looking at the robot. "Does your... what do you call it?"
"T0-D is his name, he's an android." Asakonigei informed Annuciata.
"Does he eat?"
"Negative: I do not need the sustenance that your meatbag body requires. How you manage to find the power sustain yourself is a true wonder of biology."
Zannah slightly turned her head to her Android's direction. "Tod. Don't use that word towards the queen."
"Conformation: Biology?"
"Meatbag."
"Calibration: Very well. I will have to lower my power capacitors in calling the Queen such. Will need to balance it. I'm positive Meatbag Zizi will compensate. After all, she has a tiny meatbag growing inside her as we speak. That's double the meat. Must be maddening."
"Very well Tod."
Zizi knew that T0-D had to be on his best behavior, so she would use this instance to annoy him.
"Oh, Queen Annuciata, please, watch this. It is most amusing."
Knowing that T0-D had magnetic properties, and that he had to behave, she tossed a fork at him... which stuck to the side of his head.
The Queen of Danjur instantly started to laugh.
"Oh my, that is surely something." Annuciata then asked. "Do you have more T0-Ds? I certainly would like one, despite his talking. I think I'd have that disabled, and have the android just follow orders."
"Zizi..." Asakonigei said just above a whisper. "Be nice."
"The pile of scrap metal started it."
"Negative: I am one of a kind." T0-D took the fork off, placing it back down. He was already calculating a swift and terrible revenge to humiliate Zizi.
"That is a pity. Empress Zannah, I don't suppose I could convince you to let me purchase this one-of-a-kind machine from you?" Queen Annuciata inquired with a smile as she tossed another piece of silverware at the android, giggling when it stuck. Magnetic capabilities could be most amusing sometimes. "Name your price."
T0-D was getting annoyed with these woman throwing their curtly at his head, his eye flashing red and back to blue. Zannah gave a light smile, pulling the spoon of her companions head. "That's up for the negotiation tomorrow. Besides, I don't think Tod would appreciate being sold like a slave."
"Conformation: I would most certainly not."
"Oh, I wouldn't keep him as a slave, no, I'd keep him as a prize." Queen Annuciata sighed as she leaned back in her chair. "Perhaps put him on a pedestal where I could simply look at the piece of ancient technology. Maybe have him follow me around and look pretty and shiny for me."
Zizi had to hold back a snicker when the queen mentioned T0-D being no more than a pet.
"Sarcasm: Oh yes. I'm sure that would do wonders for your collection. Make you the talk of the town. It's too bad I got a citizenship not too long ago. How I always wanted to be sold off as scrap to sit in a museum. It has always been my dream."
"Quite the talker, isn't he?" Queen Annuciata shrugged. "Oh well, it's easy to disable that feature, I'm sure. Tell me, Empress Zannah, is there any issue you wish to be first on the list tomorrow for discussion?"
"An alliance between our people for starters. And to share my grievances against Hyrule."
Malik was taken aback by her wording. "Excuse me?"
"Trust me, we have much to discuss, but I'm sure that we can save it for tomorrow. I suppose Malik and his wife, as well as Zizi and Kahli are tired.
"Grievances?" Queen Annuciata repeated with a surprised expression. "I was not aware there was a problem, seeing that the King and Queen of Hyrule have already helped you start the rebuild of your empire."
"What?" Zizi blurted out at the use of Zannah's wording before she could stop.
"Like I said, we'll save it for tomorrow." Zannah raised her hand to one of her guards. At her signal, they offered the Queen a rich red wine. "My first gift to you. Our wineries are becoming one of our most treasured goods. I call it, "Hyrda's Bane". Ever since the beast's poison was expelled, our land has grown more prosperous than ever."
"A unique name, for starters, but I shall indeed give it a try." Queen Annuciata inspected the wine and then one of her servants took it for her. "Very well, tomorrow morning we shall discuss various issues. However, I must remind you, Empress Zannah, that Danjur and Hyrule have been on good grounds for many decades. We wish to extend our alliance to you as well, though we do not wish to cause strife with others. That said, we will listen to various problems to be cordial."
"Thank you. Are you married Queen Annuciata?"
"Married? Pish-posh, why would I get married when I can simply buy sausage and not the whole pig?" Queen Annuciata laughed at the inquiry. "No, Empress Zannah, I am not married and have no plans to be for the mere future. If I am to chose a suitable husband for the sake of an heir, it will be a man who I can easily control. No one will ever have me under their thumb."
"Interesting. I'm unmarried as well. How'd you like to spend sometime with our glasses of wine and give me a tour of your palace while the rest of the guests settle in for the night?"
"Intriguing offer, Empress Zannah. I shall accept, as long as we speak no more of business and alliances. I am tired from the day's events and wish to simply enjoy good company." Queen Annuciata rose from her seat. "My esteemed guests, please, follow my servant to your quarters. I do hope it is to your liking. If you shall need anything, anything at all, simply give your order to the servant outside the door. They will be there the entire night."
"Of course. You have to tell me who does your decorating." Zannah gently took Annuciata's hand, helping her up. Zannah's hand was smooth and warming at the touch. "To the rest of you, goodnight."
"Oh, you're being a flatterer, I chose everything." Annuciata noticed how warm Zannah felt as she rose from her chair as the other guests exited the room to go to their assigned quarters. "Why would I let some stranger decorate my home? Besides, my brothers have absolutely no taste."
"I bet. I think that might be part of the reason your brothers aren't on the throne."
"Pffft! Please, my brothers are mere children." Annuciata laughed. "Too immature for the role of a leader. No, they don't understand that the kingdom comes first. I will do whatever is necessary for the benefit of my people."
"As will I." Zannah continued walking with Annuciata down her prestige halls. "Tell me, how did you seize power over them? Why is someone like you in charge of such a mighty kingdom?"
"My brothers are twins, you see. Kept arguing over who was to be seated on the throne, while making numerous mistakes in their ruling." Annuciata fanned her face while speaking. "My parents did not like that they could not come to a decision, so made it for them; me on the throne."
Zannah gave a light visible frown. "They just gave you it?"
"Well... that's what we have to let the kingdom think." Annuciata chuckled as she hid a smirk behind her fan. "I had my ways of... manipulation."
Annuciata was rewarded with a genuine smile, and had her wine filled up. "Really now... admirable."
"Ma and Pa were always so easily open to my suggestions. It must be my charm." Annuciata led Zannah onto a balcony for some fresh air. "Though it is my brothers' own fault, always fighting, always squabbling like little children. They may hate me for it, but what can they do now besides bicker?"
"They should be grateful that they are still alive to squabble." Zannah set her glass down, holding the balcony edge. "You have a beautiful city here my dear."
"Danjur is my kingdom, but also my most prized treasure." Annuciata looked over the marvelous lights of the city. "We have strengths all around; impenetrable mountains and a roaring sea on our sides. Though, as much as my brothers squabble, they do unfornately have a point." The queen frowned slightly. "I will have to produce an heir to the throne."
Zannah slowly turned to her. She didn't blink as she spoke. "Really. And why's that?"
"Not only is it expected of me, though my biological clock is ticking." Annuciata had a mild grumbling tone to her voice. "I much rather have a woman than a man. Women do what they say they are going to do and men run at the first sight of trouble. Hmph. Though I need a man to reproduce."
Zannah tilted her head, and grabbed her hand. "Can I tell you something Annuciata?"
Annuciata was taken aback when Zannah grabbed her hand, slightly surprised at her boldness. The Queen of Danjur was not too keen on being touched so freely. Though, this once, she allowed it.
"...? Yes? Go on?"
"I took the seat of Emperor at sixteen. I had to make very hard choices. My people needed a tough ruler to bind them together after losing the war against Hyrule. I lost my entire family, so by being the sole survivor of the royal clans, I became Emperor. I also had to make sacrifices to my happiness by listening to the advice of a war council. Like you, I was pressured into having a child. They had to inject me because I burned the candidates they tried to have forced on me with a donor. I'm a mother to twins because I had to continue my clan. After that I swore to never again let anyone tell me how to lead the future of my people, or how to live my own life." The wind blew lightly against the two woman. "What I'm trying to say Annuciata, is that you have the power. You are in control. And you don't need to follow the traditions of others. Make your own."
"You have wise words, Empress, and I wish to follow them. Though, at the same time, I do not want my people to suffer." Annuciata looked over her capital city of Ewald. "If I fail to produce an heir, then the throne would ultimately fall to one of my brothers. I fear what those imbeciles' offspring would do to my kingdom." She shook her head lightly. "I do not mind entertaining the thought of being a mother. Truth be told, it would be lovely to have a little one who loved me, for me, in return. Though finding someone to trust with my heart... that is the hard part."
"That is the hardest part, finding someone for the heart. Someone powerful, someone... beautiful. Is there nothing else you can do?"
"It is like the kings and queens of old said, Empress Zannah..." Annuciata folded her fan. "Sometimes, you must sacrifice your very heart for the sake of the kingdom."
Zannah held Annuciata's hand firmly. "Take my word to heart Queen Annuciata. The kingdom, if you hold the right amount of power and care over it, will bend to your heart."  A sensual warmth filled the queen, giving her a small sense of loss as the Emperor let go. "I will see you tomorrow afternoon?"
"... yes..." Queen Annuciata had to take a breath, having forgotten to breath at that sensual warmth filling her body. "I hope you will sleep well."
Zannah gave her a warm smile. "And may your dreams be sweet."
She walked back to her chambers, giving the queen one last wave goodnight.

saimota 💕
When I started shipping it if I did: Well, at first I thought they were going to be the classic best bros™ whose friendship was supposed to offer an example of the typical manly bond you usually see on shonen anime, but the way Shuuichi started to look forward his time with Kaito, the way he even seemed jealous of Maki joining them (lol), the way Kaito always got protective and defensive over him (Shuuichi got all defensive too :3) the unconditional trust and support Kaito always put on him and the way they relied on each other through and throughout made their bond very strong and their relationship really intense and unique! It’s absolutely my DR OTP ;u;
My thoughts: They deserved a happy ending, dammit!
What makes me happy about them: The way they helped each other grow as people, because while it’s true that Shuuichi became stronger thanks to Kaito I also think that Kaito learned his own lesson from Shuuichi as well, since he did realize his own mistakes in the end.
What makes me sad about them: Kaito is there no more :c but on the bright side, we know Shuuichi will always carry his memories in his heart, right? c:
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: In general mischaracterization but at the moment I haven’t read enough fics to say there’s something in particular that I dislike.
Things I look for in fanfic: As long as they’re IC, I’m opened to everything, really! Just… if you have to change Kaito’s mindset (his views on gender roles especially) it should be gradual. Remember that this guy is prideful and stubborn as hell (a bit childish too) and he takes his time to think about his own mistakes (and to realize where he’s eventually wrong), otherwise, he wouldn’t have sulked at Shuuichi for an entire chapter (that’s my opinion at least).
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Shuuichi => Kiibo (it’s such a blessed ship tbh), Kaede (I admit I liked their ship-tease in her FTEs, less in the game but I’m okay with them as pairing all in all), Kokichi (I liked how protective he was of him in his FTEs, such as preventing him to hurt himself omg) and Rantaro too (I know he’s aro/ace but I think they’d work really well together if they had a chance. Kaito => Maki (it’s a very good ship), Kaede (a dream team, really), Miu (a crack ship but with such a potential tbh), Kokichi (from hate to partners in crime to lovers, it’s good!) and basically anyone really, but my fave pairings with Kaito are those five especially c:
My happy ending for them: Resolving an old, impossible case involving N/ASA and Area 51 together lol
Who is the big spoon/little spoon: I think they could switch but more often than not Kaito is the big spoon and Shuuichi the little spoon (thinking of saimota cuddles is making my heart melt
What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Training, of course :D
Iruouma ♡
When I started shipping it if I did: I’m still unsure… because while I was going through the gameplay I’ve never thought of them as a romantic pairing and I still think they rock as a BROTP… I read a platonic fic with the two of them that I really really liked and I also read theories of people according to which their cooperation could even have included sex but personally, I believe it’s a stretch. The fact is that Kokichi hasn’t a confirmed sexuality even if I had a hard time seeing him with a girl at first, but I found myself agreeing with those who think that he’s simply drawn to people that raise interest in him, such as Shuuichi, Kaito, and Kaede, so… But if there’s romantic content of them I’ll look for it.
My thoughts: I think they’re very similar and they have many things in common. There’s also the question “did Kokichi keep on insulting Miu out of spite or because she liked it?” lingering, and there’s no confirmed answer 👀
What makes me happy about them: The fact that Miu somewhat opened herself to him. Canon suggests that she’s really been her true self only around Kiibo “When it came to machines, she was genuine. She had a natural innocence she kept hidden inside” but Kokichi was the only one with whom she’s been honest because she openly admitted how scared she really was only in front of him (maybe she did talk about it with Kiibo as well but he said nothing to respect her privacy, we can’t be sure… Kiibo couldn’t be aware of the Secret of the Outside World though, mmm…). Add the fact that Kokichi seemed to truly empathize with her at that moment, feeling bad for her later as well.
What makes me sad about them: The fact that they never had the opportunity to get to know each other better and to understand how similar they were to each other, it could have been a great friendship…
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: For curiosity, I tried to read smut with the two of them but her consent wasn’t too explicit… Non-con wasn’t the main intention I guessed, since the tag wasn’t there so…
Things I look for in fanfic: A plausible dynamic. If they’re supposed to be a romantic pairing then so be it, but I think it would be complicated so I believe keeping them IC should be important, above all;
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Miu => Kiibo, Kaito, Kaede (I liked how Kaede handled her in her FTEs, they’d have a nice dynamic), Kokichi => Shuuichi (let him be happy with his fave detective), Kaito.
My happily ever after for them: Pranking Kaito in the afterlife :P
Who is the big spoon/little spoon: OMG I don’t know… but I guess I like both the combinations… I wonder if Miu likes to cuddle people letting them use her chest as a pillow? (I’m joking lol)
What is their favorite non-sexual activity: Trash talk people they dislike ahah
Thank you so much for the ask and for your support in general, really 💖

Ummm we heard about Asa's first kiss, but what about Jesse? How was he before he became the infamous Chromeskull? His childhood? Perhaps teenage and college years? If not, that's totally fine! Love your works. 🥺
so ltr and ltr2 gave us even less to work with compared to the collector/the collection. a moment of silence for the failed prequel. I mean, even a shitty prequel would’ve been nice and would at least give us more info. (see also: billy lenz)
I don’t even remember if it was touched on the movie if jesse was born mute or not, so forgive me if I get it wrong. also I know very little of the topic in general hhhhh
I also.. don’t know much about the American education system aside from it being bad. same for accessibility/assistance issues for mute folks over there. I’d assume it’s not very good, since Florida gets bad rep in general.
the movie also doesn’t go into detail how he got dummy rich in the first place. whether if it’s from his own hard work or if he was born into a rich family.
I’d have to say I’d go with the first, since he’s somewhat arrogant. it would make sense that he’d be very proud of the work he’s done, yakno? but the second one is still possible, then we can lump him in with fellow rich boy Brahmsy.
say we go by horror movie stereotypes - he had a hard time at school and was bullied for being the mute kid. (are kids still this ruthless? I hope not.)
take the rich family trope into account and he’ll have parents who are rarely home (from working all the time) as a result. there’s no talk about a sibling either, so let’s assume that he’s also the only child and quickly gets used to being unsupervised for the majority of his childhood.
so he’s actually pretty damn smart. does studying interest him? probably not because again, he’s actively being bullied. his grades are only up if he feels like it. the teachers are most likely very aware of it + his home life but realize they can’t do jack shit.
from here this can either go carrie (precisely 1 teacher cares about him enough to check on his mental health) or halloween (small boy go murder spree) real quick.
but imo, he’ll develop some twisted hobbies and get away with it.
i.e. he’s the mute kid who gets bullied so he can’t possibly be the one who planted a nail bomb in a locker and sent that one kid in the hospital, right? bonus points: he’s smart enough to somehow get into the school’s security system and get rid of the evidence.
he could be the type to purposely not fight back to save his image, instead meticulously plan out how to hurt them and get away with it. jesse finds out that oh he’s good at that, and continues to do so even as he hits puberty.
outsmarting bullies? hell yeah. but then he also could’ve taken up a sport or two just so he could start overpowering them as well.
probably genetics that he’s gotten so hugelarge but he seems like the type to study up on how to incapacitate people if he’s gotten mentally fucked up enough.
teen to adult chromey? HOO BOY.
he’s well out of the awkward phase, and has now gotten into learning how to use people for his own benefit. what a fun hobby, says jackass mcgee. charisma UP!
still going on bad stereotypes chromey would eventually be like HMM so if I can’t get my parents’ attention, then I’ll have to do some messed up stuff to get that. mayhaps, dabble in a little murder or drugs on the side.
college frat parties? hell yeah. this is possibly where he got his fascination with young women and/or recording them.
TL;DR:
childhood: probably lonely and suffered his share of bullying, if we’re going on horror movie stereotypes. becomes evil little bastard as a result.
teen: lots of teen angst. treats the seven deadly sins as a bucketlist. hmm maybe I could use people for my own benefit,,,
adult: haha people r fun toys. maybe aa little murder here n there, as a treat. mayhaps i could do this, as a job,,,,
((tw: mentions of rape, abduction, snuff, necrophilia, and similar themes under the cut.))
would he have forced himself on someone? possibly, just to see how it feels. I don’t think he’d be into gangbangs, since he most likely has trust issues at this point.
I just feel like he’s more of a “I can charm you and lure you into this false sense of security and then I’ll pounce” type. he could go as far as actually dating his victims, sate his sexual appetite, and then make snuff films out of it?
he’s also shown a hint of being a necro in the movie so that’s ...something.
then again, that could also just be a sick version of powerplay, planting a kiss on a victim’s corpse as a form of ownership since preston took his kill away from him.
jesse’s shown to have a wife and we all know she got knocked up, so he’s probably not actively banging on any corpses. (maybe not until he finds out she shot herself??? idk,)
but that’s JUST a theory--

Hirate Yurina Quick Japan Vol. 135 Interview
Tumblr media
Hating beautiful things, Want for the honest feelings to reach.
It was never meant as 'I'm in pain.' nor 'I didn't want to do it.' This girl knows the beauty, and the self-demon of a living human being, who cannot be easily cleaned up by those simple words. This girl's name is Hirate Yurina. To whomsoever out there who shoulder the same teen loneliness, same pain-- 'those emotion, get through' and her figure walking in the wilderness of people without crying as much as she can, is too transient, too noble.
Q: I'll be starting with a bit personal questions. This year, you're starting highschool. In your highschool life, what did you enjoy the most?
Techi: I don't know if I could tell that she's a good friend, but I'm able to talk to the kid. When I was with the kids, then I forgot that I had job, I think they said “I'm just a normal highschool kid.”
Q: But I think if you could be confident when you're with them, that's good. Usually, what did you talk with the kids?
Techi: Stuffs about the school.......Very very normal. Things like “That kid, I really liked him, but... what do you think?”, and also love consultations also often happened. I don't know the reason why, but They often consulted their love problems with me (laughing).
Q: Maybe it's because of Hirate-san, they want to consult it with you. Maybe they expect to get good answers from you.
Techi: But I cannot give good advice. Just like 'The way people think is different from one another' or 'isn't it good?' That kind of reply might not really ease their problems but, we're not junior high students anymore, so we should answer those expectation by ourselves way of thinking and that we will be fine that way.... I think.
Q: in reverse, is there any switch to change between natural Keyakizaka and work-mode Keyakizaka?
Techi: how should I put it.... well, there's a lot of things to think about. Sometimes things are heard in talks between members and staffs, the I think like 'Ah, I think so, too' and got a bit curious about it. I might become a bit more sensitive at work.
Q: Can you have a moment to properly relax a bit?
A: I really like strolling around. Between shooting I often idly walking around. I don't like being confined in one site, so occasionally I stroll around with Manager-san. That time, I really like to have some meaningless talks, like, for example “If Hirate-san is going to be reincarnated, what do you want to be?” “maybe dandelion~”, really talks without any meaning (laughing). Maybe that's the time I feel really relaxed.
'What do you know about me?'
Q: This year Keyakizaka appeared in the national arena tours, also the Fes and events, with a very fierce performances. Isn't that really harsh physically and mentally?
Techi: That has been asked a lot. But we don't feel any bother doing performances fiercely. We said that we want to do it. There are times when our physical condition couldn't keep up, too. When 'ROCK IN JAPAN 2017', I suddenly thought I'd ask staffs, 'Water please, I want to wear hat.' Because it was really hot, but because we need to get fired up that was not a right time...that time I really think ‘I wanna wear a hat' (laughing).
Q: In the last national arena tour, you solo performed 'Jibun no Hitsugi.' The figure of Hirate-san that strummed the guitar while singing, and engulfed by flame is really beyond the word of impactful.
Techi: Actually, there's something that I had thought before. But that level of performance would make the venue couldn't be used for the next performance (laughing). At first, I will get into a coffin, then the coffin will be burned. Meanwhile when I was inside the coffin I will change into Fukyuwaon costume. Then afterwards I will come out of the coffin tattered up, then continue to perform. (That way) I didn't just wanna perform flashily, but after I thought hard, that's how I thought the song had to be shown. I thought that it would be better to play the guitar by myself, and I played it properly.
Q: How do you share that brilliant and crisp image with the staff?
Techi: When I heard the song, the image of myself being engulfed in flame came. Then I searched pictures that quite close to the image in the internet and send them. I always send everything without any logical reasoning in context at all and saying 'How 'bout this?' But a reply came (laughing).
Q: Is it the same with live performances and the album 'Masshiro mono wa Yogoshitaku Naru', how's the production process?
Techi: This year, the feeling of wanting to deliver songs has become very strong. For that reason, our visual, as well as design, song order, all of it should be ideally designed so it's not only music that will be delivered. We always thought about how this song should be performed on stage, but that alone is bad, I think. I told (the staff) that I want the handwritten 'Getsuyoubi no asa, skirt wo kirareta' lyric inserted in the end of the album.
Q: Why, especially that song, you want to be included in the album?
Techi: I'm a bit loss in explaining my feeling at that time, because it will not really connected to the album. Because the song that mostly represent the album is 'Getsuyoubi~', the main protagonist of the song's that had the strong feeling of 'wanting to be delivered' is 'What do you know about me?' like the lyric, so it was inserted.
Q: The thing that Hirate-san really wanted to convey is clearly visible, right.
Techi: That's right. For example the setlist, roughly, a month or two before a live, we will share the theme we want to tell and then decide the order of the songs. TAKAHIRO-san's presence is really big in this process. In MV or Album's visual, we were directed by and worked with similar director and cameraman, so I think that really helps. We were blessed.
Q: Often when talking about the focal point of Keyakizaka46 and Hirate-san's expression, I think the remark of 'Otona wa shinyoudekinai' often cited, but in reality it doesn't seem like that at all.
Techi: 'Adults cannot be trusted' that I said was.....how do I say it, in work and business, I really hate people with the mindset of 'for now just do it as it is (without any real effort).' It's not talking about people like TAKAHIRO-san and the staff that really bring seriousness and live full-spirited...
Q: I see. Shall I say that 'adults' as a concept cannot be trusted?
Techi: Sometimes in the recording session, my sound wouldn't come out. When that happened, I became really indebted to the Recording Director. As usual when in the album production process, there might be some people that hurriedly do and say 'let's just record it, fast.' But that person said 'It's okay'....He dimmed the light and let me sing, also did the recording with a minimum number of people. All of us with that person also went eat together. We also thought together how to convey the phrase [what do you know about me?] from 'Getsuyoubi~.' The staff also often really understand my thoughts. If theirs was different (with me) It might have been conflicted. I don't hate if the ideas I brought being told like it's not good like this, or that is not quite right, I'm rather glad that way.
'If I'm not lonely, it will not be delivered'
Q: ‘I want to change', you said when you're auditioning for Keyakizaka46. Until now, how positively have you change?
Techi: I didn't think about it at all. How did it come to this....(laughing). But even so I think I wanted the songs to reach. There are also lots of things I think I'm able to do now. Like performances, costumes, camera proportion, etc. After all no matter how many times you watch, it's needless to say that Keyakizaka's image is 'if it's this much, it's still not gonna be delivered.'
Q: Carrying that much of burden alone, isn't it that much lonely?
Techi: I might not consult about it much with the members...but as expected it's becoming lonely. It is becoming lonely but....maybe it's because I'm still 16 years old. If I grew a little bit more, maybe my way of thinking will change too.
Q: So intentionally, there's a part of you that accepted that loneliness?
Techi: If i don't feel lonely, then I wonder if i can deliver (the song's feeling) to a teenager who shared the same feeling. Because of that, it's impossible (to reach) if I didn't force myself to feel the same suffering. Now, I think I should deliver the song so it reaches the kid whose feeling is really painful. Wherever the teenager who feel the same pain are, they have a strong heart.
Q: That feeling, I think it's not only to the kids, but also delivered to the adults as well. It woke up the stinging important feeling inside, I think Keyakizaka46 also had that urgency to convey.
Techi: Is that so! So it is true. People are just forgot about it. I think anyone actually have that kind of emotion somewhere inside their heart. I'm not joining Keyakizaka because I'm supposed to look cool or cute.... I want to honestly express the feeling that human being can, but do not want to peek inside.
Q: It's really delivered. That's why, I think performance from Keyakizaka46's Hirate-san evokes a sincere reaction.
Techi: I want to deliver that much of honesty feeling. It's okay to be lame. Conversely, it's even better if it's really really lame.
Q: You want to deliver the raw emotion, without any indirect expression, I think.
Techi: I hate beautiful things. People that hid something, people that made lies, I hate those dishonest people. I think the fastest way to express it could only be on the national tour's final show. That's why, those people should really watch it.
Q: As expected, you really want to express it directly. In today's interview I personally thought so. Is there anything you wanna say?
Techi: Fufufu (laughing). Actually I kept things I'm thinking daily in a note. But, if one day I wrote a lyric that will still be a secret. I want to say many things (laughing).
Q: I really really want to hear that.
Techi: After secretly announcing it for a long time, then I'll say 'Actually I'm the one that wrote the song'....It might be interesting (laughing).
Happy holiday guys~
