anyway yesterday they found the bodies of a six-year-old palestinian girl, her whole family, and the two ambulance workers sent to retrieve them, all killed by israeli army gunfire. she had called for help beforehand, hence the ambulance, and her call is recorded. the iof was told ahead of time that the ambulance was coming and approved it, then destroyed the van on purpose. their bodies were left there for two weeks. they are part of around 600,000 casualties among the palestinian civilians.

The thing about that staff post is like. You can't fix the problem of people not understanding how the site works by changing how the site works, not without alienating your current userbase. Idk I feel like the solution to "new users find the site confusing" is to add more support for them to be able to figure it out themselves rather than just. Trying to change everything to be like other sites or hyper smoothing things

you're at war for a long time -- you keep being at war, even when people say things are peaceful, to the point where you guys are kind of incapable of not seeing warfields where everyone else sees daily life. and at some point you guys break up because of the war and it doesn't even matter because your community has abandoned you both when you're still at war and no one else can see it.

and then one of you dies, and you the other are so used to wartime that you puppet him for long enough to start a war, and then you guys don't see each other again until one day your precursors come back -- after leaving you both to handle war! -- and declare that they've created a peaceful paradise for your people, where there will never be any more war.

and naturally, in the paradise of peace, you guys aren't together anymore.

that’s actually smth i love about gurren lagann so much, like i love all the little character design nods to previous outfits and where they came from. like with nia’s hoodie having the red armbands like simon made for himself with kamina’s dad’s cape

and with rossiu’s uniform having the left shoulder stripes like adai’s clothing did

like it’s just!!!!! so cool to me, it makes their whole world feel very natural and the whole “evolution” thing make a lot more sense, cause you can tell where their inspirations for designs came from
