We're filming a video for the guys' Friday post. Well, we were. Now, we're just sitting in the car and talking about random shit. Chris is in the front with Matt. I'm in the back with Nick and their friend Kaitlyn. Apparently, they had just recently gotten close with her and wanted her to have fun with the Friday video too.

Honestly, I don't see how they like her. I don't. Normally, I'm a girl's girl. The whole time, she was pushing me away though. The angle is hard to get right in the car when it's more than just the guys. Everyone knows that. Nick is in his usual spot, Kaitlyn took the middle, so I'm sitting behind Chris's seat. Normally, I wouldn't mind because it's not a big deal. I can just peak around his seat to be in frame. Except, Kaitlyn talks with her hands which gives me into the back corner hidden by Chris.

At one point, she literally pushed my head back. Nick, Chris, and Matt were so involved in arguing that they didn't notice though. Kaitlyn, of course, was right in the middle with all the typical pick me lines. 'Guys, this isn't you 🥺' It's so fucking annoying.

Plus, she's all up on Chris and Matt. She's touching their arms, twirling and flicking her hair. It's so stupid. She's so stupid. A pang of guilt strikes me as I think it.

"We should go back to your place." Kaitlyn drags her hand down Chris's arm. "Wouldn't that be fun?" She turns to Matt. "We can drop little miss hermit back here off." Never fucking mind. I'm glad I thought she was stupid. And a bitch.

"No, we're having a sleepover? The fuck?" Nick intervenes. I love him. He's a good friend.

"Oh. Whatever. Me, Chris, and Matt will have fun." I roll my eyes and grab my phone. I text Nick.

Kaitlyn tries to peer at mine and Nick's phone screens. I'm glad we invested in the privacy screen protectors.

I give Nick a subtle thumbs up. After a minute, Nick frowns. Matt starts the car and begins pulling out of the driveway. Shit.

I frown, closing my messages and turning my phone off. Come on guys, see what a dick she is. I turn to look out the window and wait for this awful ride to be over. Kaitlyn non stop flirts the whole time. It's ridiculous. And since Matt is driving, pretty much all of her attention is on Chris.

It's driving me crazy. It's not fair. I was so sure Chris had feelings for me too. I had planned on telling him about my feelings soon, but now, with this girl, I don't know. Maybe he was just being nice to me.

We get to the house and before the car has stopped, I'm flinging open my car door and jumping out. I slam the door closed, stomping up to the front of the house. I grab the extra key from under the potted plant and let myself in. It's ridiculous.

I fly up the stairs to Nick's room. I know he'll be up in a minute so I'm satisfied with just waiting right here. I think about all the times Chris cuddled up against me during movie nights. Or how he would pick up a chunk of my hair and start playing with it, wrapping it around his finger only to let it fall back. Or the many times I would bend over to pick something up and he would place his hands on my hips, acting as though he was fucking me. Friends don't do that shit, right?

I express all of this to Nick when he comes up to his room, locking his door behind him. "I just- I'm so mad."

"I understand, sort of." Nick lays on his bed. "Chris does like you, I'm sure of it. I don't know why he's acting like this though."

"What was the witch doing when you came up?" I ask, not sure if I really want to know.

"Oh, Chrissy poo! Matty poo! Let's watch a movie!" Nick does his best impression of Kaitlyn. I laugh hard.

"Let's go bake something." I suggest. Nick oooo's at the idea but suggests changing clothes first. He changes into just a T-shirt and shorts. I get an evil little idea. "Nick, can I borrow one of your shirts? But like, one that Chris and Matt haven't really seen?"

"Sure," he grabs one out of the very back of his closet. "An ex got it for me as a gag gift." He explains. It's a light pink shirt that says 'daddy's girl' in a ridiculous flowy font. I giggle.

"Do you think Chris would die over this?" I ask.

"He'd get a kick out of the shirt alone, if you wear that one pair of shorts you have though-" I know exactly what pair he means. The pair I've had since the 8th grade, the pair that I wore to band camp. They stick to me like glue, and barely go down three inches. I left them here one night. I pull them from a drawer and force them on. The shirt covers my ass, unless I bend over or lift my arms. Perfect.

"Do I look good?" I ask.

"You look perfect." Nick assures me. We head downstairs. "Should we make cupcakes?"

"I'm down for whatever!" I bounce down the stairs. These shorts bring back memories of baking out in the high noon heat in July for hours. They fill me with the confidence of a 16 year old girl that's just perfected rifle turns.

"Hey! Where'd you two go?" Chris's head pops up off of the couch.

"Oh, just to change, we're about to make cupcakes!" I say before Nick can. He goes into the kitchen, probably to get the stuff out.

"Oooo, cupcakes!!" Mat claps his hands together. I smile, and turn around to walk into the kitchen. I let my hips swing a little more than they usually would.

Chris, Matt, and Kaitlyn end up following me into the kitchen. They don't really do much. I get Nick the things he needs, and he does all the mixing. It's a good process.

"Shit." He drops a spoon.

"It's fine! I got it!" I bend over to pick it up. I feel hands on my hips, and for the first time ever, something hard brushes against me. There's a gasp and heavy stomps.

"How dare you! I've been trying all night!" Kaitlyn stomps out of the room, Matt following her. I stand up. Nick puts the cupcakes into the oven.

"I'm going to make sure Matt gets rid of her. Watch the cupcakes." Then, he leaves the room. Now, it's just me and Chris.

I hop up onto the counter. Chris strikes to ruffle my hair but I dodge him. "Hey-" he says sadly.

"No. Don't do that sad shit. You should have thought about this before you let her practically suck your dick the whole night." I say it without thinking. "You don't get to have her and me."

"I don't want her." I roll my eyes at him. "I'm serious. I was just being nice." He fits himself between my legs. "I should have told you. I want you."

"Yeah, you should have." I cross my arms.

"You're so pretty, you know that? Your sweet face, perfect body, great personality." He trails off. "Can I make it up to you?"

"You could fuck me." I say jokingly.

"Okay." He unzips his jeans, the rare time he actually wore them. "I'll fuck you so good."

"I was kidding. Just cause I've been trying to get in your pants doesn't mean I'm going to take advantage like this."

"You've been what." It doesn't sound like a question.

"I've been trying to seduce you, one could say."

"Fuck, please let me fuck you." He leans his head against mine. "Been wanting you, didn't think you wanted me back. Please, let me fuck you over the counter, right here. Right now." The heat in the bottom of my stomach makes me give in to what I want.

"Okay, gotta be quick. Before Nick gets back." He nods and kisses me. I'm surprised but I kiss back. Quickly, the kiss is over and he's bending me over the counter, face down. He merely pushes the shorts to the side to allow himself access to slip in.

He does. God, he's big. His dick feels huge inside me, his hands feeling goat trailing my body. I feel like he's crowding me with his size.

"Move, please move." I plead with him. He moves slowly at first, pulling back a few inches before fucking that back in. "Please, Chris. Fuck me." He pulls out, leaving just the top inside before sinking all the way in. From there, he's fucking me into the counter. He leans down, changing the angle and talking in my ear.

"Fuck, princess. You feel so good. Perfectly taking my dick. My good girl." He wraps his hand around to thumb at my clit. "Daddy's good girl." It isn't long before I'm squeezing around him in the height of my orgasm. It isn't too terribly long before he's pulling out to finish across my thighs.

"Fuck." He steps away, coming back and wiping my legs with a paper towel.

"You took me so good. M so proud of you." He picks me up, hugging me tightly. He presses kisses all across my face.

It is time to sleep and also time to recount what I've read today. I have read quite a bit today as well. 6 ½ hours. Not bad, right? Heh. I've reached chapter 673 and my reading app says I've read 48% of the novel. Very encouraging! ...or not. I won't be able to finish it this month, it seems. Pity. Either way, it's recap time!

The best news first! Sequence 5!! Our boy is a Nimblewright Master! He's a powerhouse! After all that hard work, we see results! He's on the threshold of demigod, oh wow. It's actually insane. And the corresponding abilities are also terrifying. On the surface they're scary, but used by our sharp, experienced Klein, I can't help but feel pity for his enemies.

Next, what also intrigued me was the appearance of Queen Mystic, Bernadette! Really didn't expect her to have had a hand in Gehrman Sparrow's fake identity. And all the other stuff was also surprising. Like, in no way would I have connected new Tarot Club member, The Hermit, Admiral of Stars Cattleya's teacher and mentor with the only other transmigrator Emperor Roselle's daughter, Bernadette. It just seems to be a part of two different stories. And she figured out who Hero Bandit Dark Emperor was, too! She's quite smart. I like her

The third thing I wanted to talk about was the whole night and dream world that happened in the... Sonia Sea, I believe? I can't remember the actual name. Where the mermaids are. Anyway, that whole thing is so... mysterious and historical, to some extent, my gut says we might return here later. Like, the similarities between this "world" and the Forsaken Land of the Gods make me raise an eyebrow, ya know?

But honestly, idk if it's because I'm unfamiliar with Chinese novels or if that's just the way LOTM is, but my predictions don't really seem to work 8 out of 10 times lol. It's great, it keeps me on my toes lmao

Fourth thing! Derrick’s exploration into Afternoon Town! We actually learned about another King of Angels and some snippets that could be clues to the downfall of the Kingdom of Silver. Like, initially when we got into it, I was more impatient to get back to Klein’s storyline, but then shit went down, and I got completely sucked in lmao. Like?? I commend Derrick’s bravery and knowledge to deal with that situation properly. The fact that he's also not as naive as before is also very enjoyable for me. It doesn't make my heart wince in discomfort when I realize he made a decision that could have horrible consequences later. It's not his fault. His circumstances are shitty, yet he's still a ray of sunshine. But! I gotta say, I'm so proud of the fact that he's learning from his mistakes. He's so lovely. I hope the City of Silver will get out of their miserable situation.

Moving on, I gotta talk a lil bit about unlucky Anderson! Honestly, the fact that he survived his ordeal would make him the luckiest of his crew, I suppose. His personality is so funny tho lmao. Whenever Klein’s Gehrman persona is paired up with a chatty person, I am thoroughly entertained hehe. The dynamic is just hilarious! Also, I gotta admit, at first I was as sus of Anderson as Klein was lol. He really had to start off the interaction with a joke that could be horribly misunderstood, huh? Poor guy lmao

Hmmm what else... oh yeah! Frank Lee! Funnily enough, right before his introduction, I saw a post about him and something about milk, with comments being like "I can never look at milk the same way again" and I was so confused. Until the milk scene. BAHAHAH he's so INSANE, what a madlad. And they call GEHRMAN crazy. Like, if it was just some crazy thoughts, sure. A lot of people have crazy thoughts. But that crazy f*cker is actively experimenting, on a boat in the middle of the sea, with his crewmembers as... test subjects to some degree?? I did Not expect him to be like That, LMAO

Well. A lot of unexpected things happen in this novel, I noticed.

And uhhhh yeah, this seems like most of what I wanted to chat about.

Side note, I was scrolling on tiktok and stumbled on a slideshow with the last scene from volume 1, the one where after Klein... "woke up" (revived), he automatically headed to Daffodil Street - home. But unable to go back there, he went and bought a ticket to Backlund. While waiting, he was struck with the need to see his siblings one last time, realizing that's the reason he took a ticket for such a late time. And there he went, stealing a glance at the people he cares about. Seeing them grieve him. After watching on helplessly, he got an idea. The siblings saw a clown running towards them, with colorful face paint. He had a Chrysanthemum, which represented happiness. All they saw... was a happy smile, an exaggerated smile, a ridiculous smile...

AH MAN, I BAWLED LIKE A BABY AGAIN WHEN I WAS READING IT EARLIER TODAY. LIKE, GIVE ME A BREAK, MAN T^T

Ugh I was mid-writing this and tumblr ate it :( I want to say "thank you so much!" and also ask how long forever is, because I'm definitely in the fandom-old category these days with my 20 year fanfic anniversary coming next year :B But seriously, whether it's 10 days or 10 years, it is super appreciated <3

Now let's try this again. From this post:

🌻 How often do you read your own fics? Pretty often! If I'm in the middle of fanfic-reading nights (which come on-and-off throughout the year) and I don't see anything new interesting, or don't feel like reading an old favorite, I'll go to one of mine that scratches the itch I want itched. I definitely write what I want to read, for the most part. There's only a couple fics that are exceptions for exchanges as experiments and pushing my own boundaries.

📗 Do you want to write something outside of fanfiction? If so, what about? I may be in the minority of writers that have been writing for several years (at least I think I am), but the answer is actually no. Lord knows my dad has asked me several times over the years why I don't, and the answer simply is that I enjoy playing in other worlds that happen to be currently under copyright. I enjoy expanding on worlds that already exist rather than creating one fully from scratch.

I mean if I really enjoyed Wizard of Oz or the original Sherlock Holmes it might be different, but dealing with the publishing world is also a serious pain in the ass and I'd rather just keep writing as a fun hobby as opposed to something I depend on income for. My creative side definitely burns out, so I find having my creative stuff such as art and writing as hobbies rather than job-dependent good for my artistic health in the long run. Any aspiring writers/artists here should keep that in consideration as they go into school and then the job world; it's not always a bad thing to keep your passion as a hobby. Depends on your personality!

(I definitely prefer the stability of my current job!)

🎬 If a movie or show were based on your fic, which fic would you choose and who would you fancast? Oh this is a cool question. Uhhhh. Yeah, the Earth-197320 series, which is basically one long fic split into sections as I find time in my life to write it (the final part has like over 40k written or something like that, so it's coming along!) Everyone in the MCU is still cast as they were. I don't have too many OCs in the fic and I'm terrible at fancasting - for OCs in the past I usually start Googling lists of actors and actresses of the right heritage and/or age range and go from there.

There are a couple though, most of which are seen the most in the still-unpublished last part, but they all make at least one appearance earlier in the series. So I'd need an eastern Asian woman around 40-60, a Hispanic or Hispanic-passing man from 35-50 (Latinx appearances vary quite a bit!), and a black woman probably 30-50. But I don't know actors/actresses well enough without really doing deep dives into these profiles, which I've only done for one fic that basically co-starred the OCs xD

😎 What fics do you prefer on a scale of canon compliant to wildly original? Varies for each fandom. For the ones I read most in:

LOTR: Canon compliant/canon gap-fillers. There's a lot of years to fill in. The occasional canon divergence works for the really, really, really good authors. Minor canon divergences like "dead Gilraen early on" for Aragorn is fine. The one exception to this rule is modern AUs where the characters slowly relearn their past selves or have to act like, the heroes their past selves are. I wonder if those fics are still around... it popped up here and there in the mid-late 2000s. If they are, I should download them from ff.net before the site is wiped off the face of the earth.

BBC Sherlock: Really went with "anything goes" in this fandom. I found myself enjoying wild AUs the most than any other fandom here. That said, the top of the top list still tend to be canon gap-fillers or canon divergences, even though the AUs were quite a lot of fun.

MCU: Canon-compliant or canon divergence (especially after Endgame haha). I do not tend to prefer huge world AUs (like no superpowers) or fusions (like they're students at Hogwarts). I find that a fic can still be wildly original while still being canon compliant/canon divergence. A great example of this is Signature Move, my favorite MCU fic. It's canon until after Endgame then goes into a fully original story that turns canon divergent, but still feels more original than most "high school" or "high fantasy" fics. If I cannot recognize the character anymore from his core personality, I grow less interested in the character. I can go on this topic for *ages* though, aha.

🎁 Have a piece of a WIP you want to share? Here's another one. I literally wrote this snippet in the wee hours to scratch an itch that like, there's no other fics that exist out there to scratch it. It's another one of those "this probably won't ever get completed/published properly" fics.

Also, the snippet's called "yet another kidnapping" because I've written this trope a stupid amount of times. It's not my fault it's such a fun way to make characters meet.

When Tony woke up again, there was another man in his cell.

Under the single dismal light bulb he couldn't make out much of his features. He sat in the corner, slouched, a head of dark, tangled hair shot with strands of grey obscuring his facial features. His clothing was dirty and, in a word, weird. It looked like he was wearing some sort of long Ye Olde Tunic that went to his thighs. All blue, too. One leg lay out in front of him while his head and arm rested on the knee of the other. Interestingly, there were metal bands on his wrist, slightly lit by a small green light on each of them. He wondered what those were for.

The man didn't acknowledge him as he pulled himself into a sitting position. Maybe he didn't hear him and realize he was awake. "Hey."

The man didn't lift his head. "Don't talk to me."

What the hell. Of all things he was expecting his cell buddy to say. "Well, that's rude."

The man didn't reply and, fine, if he wanted to play that game Tony was happy to oblige. He didn't need this asshole to figure a way out of there.

When he looked back at the man, disbelief was written all over his features. "You're real?" he whispered. 

Tony snorted in disbelief. "Seriously? Of course I'm real."

The man pulled himself to his feet, slow and unsteadily, and walked closer. As he came into the light, Tony could see that his pupils were blown wide. 

"Jesus, what're they giving you?" he asked.

"I don't know," he said. He swayed, then lowered himself to the ground again, now just a few feet from him. "I keep seeing things. I thought—I  thought you were just another hallucination."

"Nope. Tony Stark in the flesh," he said. In the light, he could see the cuffs even better—and the man's hands, which were heavily scarred and slightly shaking. They were older wounds, though, that was clear. "What's your name?"

"Stephen. Stephen Strange."

What a name. But he wasn't a completely heartless bastard and he wasn't going to mock his drugged out cellmate, who was looking at the wall as if there was something worth looking at there. "What're you in for?"

Stephen blinked and tore his gaze from the wall. "What?"

Drugged out of his mind, right. "What do they want with you?"

"Ah. My ah, my powers."

An enhanced human; he figured it was something along those lines with those cuffs. "And what are those?"

Stephen muttered, "Go away," swatting at something only he could see, then said, "Magic."

Tony waited for his answer for another three seconds before realizing that *was* the answer. "Magic? Like 'You're a wizard, Harry' magic?"

"Sorcerer," he said as he swatted the air again.

Was there a difference? He didn't think he'd get a clear answer currently. "Right," he said instead. "And what exactly does that entail?"

"Uh, lots of things."

He waited. Nothing. "...like?"

And that is all that may ever exist of that. For whatever reason, I really, really enjoy Stephen Strange meeting various Avengers AUs. Especially if it's mid fight or in less-than-perfect circumstances for one side. I tend to make that side Stephen because I'm biased and I find the idea of this super powerful guy appearing harmless at first until a Big Reveal absolutely hilarious. I will read seemingly-harmless-until-provoked Stephen + anyone until the end of time. Sadly it's not a genre heavily explored.

Up at 3 am

"Sam?" asked Sarah, walking downstairs, hearing a blender going off, yawning into her next few words, "Sam, what's going on?"

Sarah glanced into the kitchen, squinting. Sarah had seen her fair share of odd hour cooking ever since Sam and Bucky started going on missions as Captain America and the White Wolf, but most of those had been sandwiches. This was a whole thing.

Titi had made the meat like this.

Sarah could see Titi in Sam as he added the salt, pepper, and chili powder, watched the pan sizzle as he got the ground beef brown, let the onion and jalapeño cook in the fat, soft tortillas from that place Titi used to get them at, the type that you look at it and know it's fresh (that Sarah was actually saving for a fajita night, which meant Sam and Bucky totally owed her some fresh tortillas).

Bucky, for his part, had already gotten an array of cheeses set up, chopped up some nice-looking pico de gallo, a few different salsas and hot sauces as if they were feeding the entire family instead of just themselves.

And Bucky was also the reason for the blender sounds, glancing up sheepishly at Sarah as if he'd forgotten there were other people here in his post-mission haze.

He had grabbed Sarah's Tito's tequila, one of Sam's triple sec, one of the fresh limes from that Linden Bucky bought one day and had somehow gotten it to bear fruit, a heaping cup of ice, and the pink salt Sam had bought for Bucky for his last birthday.

Bucky laughed a little giddily, on the amped up side of tired as he made Sarah the first margarita and handed it over to her as an apology, Sam getting tacos ready for both he and Bucky as well as making Sarah a small plate.

"Sorry, it was... a really weird night," said Sam, taking a huge swig of his margarita, Bucky nodding profusely as he basically downed his before inhaling a taco.

Sarah... accepted the apology margarita and taco, nodding.

"Cool. But also, get your own place already. I can't be woken up every time you come back from a mission starving and wanting to drink, no matter how good the food and drinks are," said Sarah, taking a bite of her own taco.

"Aw, you don't like our middle-of-the-night meals together?" asked Sam, elbowing her.

"We'll find our own place soon," said Bucky, smiling at Sarah, his eyes telling her "I know, we'll get one soon, I apologize again for the both of us".

"Okay, so maybe 3 am isn't the best time to wake you up, I'll concede," said Sam, after a look from Bucky, which made Sarah snort.

Because they were so... they were sort of chaos (her brother had always been a little everywhere in a warm, likable way), but together, they were a whirlwind of charm and good food and somehow smiling and talking their way out of Sarah being annoyed at them.

She was glad Sam found such a good match.

"New rule. Letting Sarah Sleep Hours are from 11 pm to 4 am, okay?" said Sarah, the two men nodding, "Thank you for the middle-of-the-night meal, though."

There was an overlapping "You're welcome," from the both of them that muddled the other's words, the two men giggling as she watched them hold hands for a moment before Bucky went over to pour himself another margarita.

Sarah smiled at that, going back up to bed shortly after, hearing the soft hushes of a nothing conversation between Sam and Bucky, just... happy for her brother despite the surprise wake up at 3 am.

I can already tell this is gonna be super confusing bc I've been writing fic since I was 12 but have since gone through so many identity changes. But let's play anyway!

My current library is 8. I don't actually write fanfic too often unless a specific idea intrigues me-- or something in the fanon just doesn't line up with me. I do have at least 4ish more stories planned and maybe a revised version of an ancient story from when I was young. 2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

This is actually pretty funny bc I have so few fics released. I only get emails for certain ones all the time, so I wrote this part out by guessing, but I ended up not needing to change it. (also, don't read most of these; they're old and bad)

5. Which of your fic do you want more attention for?

I'll be real here, I still enjoy most of the work I did for both Beach House Bummer, and Beginner's Guide to Destroying the Moon. I just wish I got more love for the latter bc I might be inspired to finish it lmao.

6. Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I really try to! I love the long rambly comments I get on Schrodinger's because I can feel those people are giving me the same passion I put into my work-- Though most of the time I get the generic "post more" or "update plz" which I dunno I'm grateful for the interaction. Still, I don't really want to repeat like "I'm trying my best, dude." about 12 times a day.

7. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I'll be real I only have two completed fics rn-- but I can tell you I had this one fic that I wrote when I was fourteen where the ninja turtles had to burn down a lab full of half-born mutant embryos, and like I remember writing that and then going to middle school the next day like "They don't know I'm a literary genius."

8. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Probably the Letterkenny/Supernatural crossover-- I feel very strongly about SPN and how people take it way too seriously, so when I found out it was filmed in Canada. It used famous Canadian actors from the show Letterkenny, it felt way too good to pass up. I do hope to write in that space again when I'm feeling less depresso-espresso.

9. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yeah. It's probably a big reason why you'll never see the tmnt fics for a while. I also used to write a lot of OC stories, and this was back in 2014 so like those were def hit the hardest. I'm glad to say it's like... subsided for the most part. I don't get hate as much as I just get really confusing and creepy comments, which don't hurt my rejection-sensitive-ass as much.

10. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Hahahaha, no.

I am kind of bad at writing it, and I don't really like writing it. Which yeah that makes sense. My friends sometimes when they find out I write fanfic as a joke they'll send me some of the worst examples smut they can find and to test my talent I'll try to rewrite it to make it some kind of titillating-- but alas it just isn't my forte. The cons of being an asexual I guess.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Uh, yes and no? I think I had one of my older fics stolen, retranslated, and then retranslated again to English? That was so long ago tho.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, but I'd love to give it a shot sometime.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Honestly, it's sonadow. I know it's cringe but I'm free, dammit. Outside of that I guess my favorite dynamic is jock/nerd, which you've probably gleaned from my resume here fhsdkjf.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I've been working on Teen Years and How to Survive them since I was 16, I only started making headway on it when I was 19-- so I feel like that speaks for itself hskjhg.

15. What are your writing strengths?

It's been told to me that I'm very funny and I write convincing dialog that captures a character's voice. Which is extremely flattering despite the fact that I feel like I'm tricking you all.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

probably scenery and landscape, if I'm honest. I also accidentally keep creating scenes just for the dialog instead of action or environment.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I think as long as I can guess what they're saying from context clues, and the writer is courteous enough to include body language and the like, then it's mostly harmless. I love including a bunch of references in fic whether it's cultural, historical, or just like a quote from a movie or something so I have a bunch of tabs open regardless it wouldn't be too inconvenient for me to fire up google translate or something.

19. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

Probably Schrodinger's Adolescent, it really opened up a lot of doors for me in the DP fandom and I got to meet a lot of cool people because of it. It really cheered me up from a dark place. And despite me writing it initially out of anger and spite its grown into this soft thing that really means a lot to me.

20. What fic are you most proud of?

Honestly, I can't pick. I'm both embarrassed by them all and yet glad they bring people some form of comfort.

Pretty sure your sudden spike in Fate content is gonna be like the third time I check something out bc you started posting it (I know next to nothing about Fate. In fact, I think I now know less than before you started). I'm rly not sure what the best starting point to get into it is, though. Any recommendation? (also I got Moriarty on your quiz and now I want to know why he's so beloved)

Oh sick! Awesome! I hope you enjoy it! 

Uhm, so, Fate notoriously swaps out like their whole creative team from work to work, so some of it is really good, and some is really bad, and some in the middle, because it’s made by very different people. The things I am most into are UBW, and Fate Go. Fate Go is a little gatcha phone game, that suffers from the fate of the whole fate franchise but as a single unit. They swap out writers from arc and event to arc and event, so sometimes you’re living and thriving, and sometimes you’re like *thousand yard glazed, pained stare* ‘why the fuck did I download this game?’ Very mixed bag. I enjoy it because I just kinda blow through any arc I don’t like and skim, and then go hella into the good ones, but it’s very much an individual matter of taste one. It’s very fun to collect spirits and get to know them though, and some of the arcs are fantastic. Also, they have made/are making some of the Fate Go arcs into shows, and I expect the ones that are of good game arcs are good? But I haven’t actually checked any out myself yet--I really need to watch E Pluribus Unum, because it was an easy top 3 arc for me in the game.

I’m big into Fate, but I actually have approximate knowledge of many things? And have not consumed as much media as you’d think. I tend to hear people really like Fate Zero, and very mixed reviews of Apocrypha, but I would wholeheartedly recommend the Fandom Classic(tm) and my personal fave as where to start, which is Unlimited Blade Works.

Sorry this is so long. Okay, so. Originally, Fate Stay/Night was a visual novel with three paths/routes: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven’s Feel. All of these are shows now. Unlimited Blade Works was made twice. Do not watch the early one; it’s bad. Watch the 2014 TV series--it’s on Netflix right now. Don’t watch the English dub--the VAs are...not great. 110% recommend watching it in Japanese/original dub, with subtitles. (This one)

My usual pitch is that if you’re a normal person, you’ll probably go “This was a little confusing, but I really got into it: 8.3/10″, and if you’re like me and you never really gave up on wanting to become a superhero and save the world some day, you’ll go: “It was fantastic, 18/10, but it also ripped out my soul and left me wounded but somehow in an okay way.” Either way very worth watching. Since it’s not the first route, there are some things they don’t explain about the world because they kind of assume the viewer will know, but that’s pretty minimal--it’s def coherent enough that the more confusing bits are more of a “Uh, okay. I think.” than a “W-What the fuck is going on?”

It’s really good. Two seasons, the most beautiful fighting in almost anything I’ve ever seen, phenomenal soundtrack, and one of the best show opens (Season 2′s) of any show I ever saw. All around a just big blanket rec from me. It’s a long-time fan favorite for a reason. It’s one of my fave shows ever :’-] It was. Very personal to me.

Uhhhh what else--okay so, on Netflix if you watch it there, and a lot of streaming sites, they list “Episode 0″ or “Prologue” as the first episode? This was originally bonus content, not the first episode. It’s basically the first episode from not the MC’s point of view, but a different major character. It’s got some really great character moments and insight into Rin and Archer, and it’s fun, but since it was originally bonus, the pacing is super weird? So I would recommend you start with actual episode 1/Winter Days, A Fateful Night instead? Unless you just want to. Like it won’t mess up the show, but it might give you a weird idea of what the pacing is. So you can watch it first if you want, or later whenever you’re curious about those two, just like, if you start on it, don’t get overwhelmed by the stuff they’re not explaining, or the weird pacing. It’s supposed to be bonus content haha.

Woof this is gonna be a long ask answer. Uhhhh, so Moriarty is from Fate Grand Order/Fate Go, the phone game. The game has three major arc sets so far: Grand Order, Epic of Remnant, and Cosmos in the Lostbelts. He’s from Epic of Remnant, and he’s universally beloved because he’s amazing. The MC in Fate Go is like 16, but he or she (you get to pick) is constantly having to risk their life and be hurt and traumatized and watch people die to save the world because there’s no one else to do it, and usually people are...not super nice to them. Moriarty shows up in the first of the second set of arcs and is like ‘Haha that’s a wholeass human child tho. Guys. Guys, a-are you sure about this?’ and he’s really there to pull of a massive evil culmination-of-my-life’s-entire-work-and-value scheme, but this kid is nice to him, and has nobody who looks out for them, and Evil Has Standards, so (Arc End Spoilers for that one ahead) he ends up giving up basically at the last minute. He had a plan that was totally working and could have won, but can’t really pull the trigger, because winning would mean this kid who has been nice to him and is already a massive pile of trauma and pressure and mental illness would die, and he cares more about them than his life’s goal. In Go usually boss fights are progressively harder, but his is super easy because he throws it, and chooses to lose, and basically throws away his life’s work for this one kid because nobody else is taking care of them, and lets himself get killed. This is a pattern with him. Other high points include later being 5 seconds into a scheme when Frankenstein (the girl one, who in fgo is like 14) stops him to call him Papa and asks for help, so he adopts her on the spot and just is her dad forever after that. He’s very goofy and I love him; he’s evil, but I’d trust him with my life, because he’s more good than he is evil, even though he’s both. Basically he’s just a very interesting and well written villain, but he’s also like, the /best/ dad in the game at the same time, and his dialogue is amazing. Evil Has Standards team dad poster man. He’s like the only adult in Fate Go who actually is responsible, which is fuckin wild. I’ll try to find some good screenshots of his dialogue. Anyway he’s incredible and I’m so happy you got him; Crime Papa is life.
