He chuckles before giving you a kiss on the forehead. “Like 20 minutes ago.” He replies as you breathe his warmth in. “You were supposed to be home last night…” You grumble. “I know, I tried to call you to let you know the flight got delayed.” He motions towards your phone that lays on the coffee table. You follow his motion before dropping your head into his chest again. “I fell asleep..” “I know.” He responds while playing with your bed head. Occasionally leaving small kisses on top. He holds you as he never wants to let you go.

You both stay that wait for a while, before you speak up. “What time is it?” “It’s almost time for me to go.” You pull away from his chest, hugging him tighter as you look up. He swears he felt a tear in his heart as he looked into your eyes. They were sad, but understanding. 

He had mentioned to you his schedule a while back, he had another flight planned the following day after yesterday. The life of an athlete is one that must always be on their feet, literally. 

“I’m going to miss you again.” “I’m going to miss you more.” 

You both pull away from the hug, feeling the coldness of the room reach around you. Walking with him towards the front door, prepping the suitcase handle for him as he puts his shoes on. “You didn’t even get a chance to unpack again, did you?” You play with the handle waiting for his response. “Unfortunately” He chuckles lowly before standing to your height. You keep your focus on the luggage handle, feeling his rough yet soft hands reach for your chin, pulling your focus to him.

He laughs as you keep silent, and again as he steps closer-you step further. “Baby!” You try not to give in, a small smirk creeping across your lips, trying your absolute best to bite back the laugh that is threatening to let loose- though, he can’t see it. Your relationship with him has always been so joyful, it always has some sort of occurrence that has you laughing like a little kid again, that giddy and carefree feeling he gives you. “Just one kiss before I go please!” Ignored, again. God you were so petty, but in a kidding way.

“If I don’t kiss you, then you can’t go.” Keeping your eyes shut and away from him. 

And before you know it, you feel a presence right in front of you. Opening your eyes, you start to see your boyfriend right in front of you. “How did you-” Before you can finish, he crashes his lips onto you as he wraps his arms in a death grip around you. “Mmf Mmf!” You try to say his name but his lips are stuck on yours. Feeling his tongue lick your bottom lip, you gasp in surprise. Ultimately giving in, kissing him back because no matter how long you ‘argue’ with him, you will always give him a sign of affection before he leaves. 

Feeling yourself lose balance, you brace yourself for the fall. Only to feel the soft cushion of your shared bed. You forgot you were in your room, his actions always makes you feel like you’re on cloud nine.

Only then when you both fall, the kiss breaks. You both huff, sharing the same red on your cheeks. Before freeing one arm from your waist, only to gently take it from you and place it to your side on the counter. You watch before you feel him lift you. Now it was your turn to be placed on the counter. The sudden action startles you as you wrap your arms around his neck quickly as support

“Don’t wanna say goodbye.” He says as he looks into your eyes. You stare back into his, a beautiful sea, so deep and calm. You swear you can get lost in them for hours, and little do you know he can say the same about yours. 

Cupping his face, he immediately softens into your palms “Then what do you wanna say?”

He stays silent as you stare. Your boyfriend is so pretty, god he is so fucking pretty. 

“Anything but goodbye.” He replies. You lean yourself forward, pressing your lips against his. He melts and kisses you back. He wants to stay like this, you want to stay like this. It is as if time has stopped itself, just to watch two souls share their moment in peace.

Pulling away from the kiss, you hear a small whine coming from the bigger man. “C’mon.” He grumbles before hiding his face into your neck again. You sigh, bringing your arms around him one last time, giving him a final squeeze. 

Separating, the lone and cold feeling lingers, though you don’t say anything. Taking the bento into your hands, you bring it up to your boyfriend again. “Good luck” He feels his heart swell to your soft smile, finally accepting it with a gentle kiss to your soft cheek. “Good bye”.

He's back for training again, this time for the FIFA World Cup. And it had been an hour since his arrival.

The flight from Japan felt longer than it had been back then, only because he can't help but replay the scene he had with you before he left.

The bright city lights shine as his eyes begin to swell, he can't help but replay each memory in which he had to leave you.

"Hey, remember the letter I told you I got in the mail?" Your boyfriend asks you. Taking your attention off from your workbook, you turn to him. "The one about the soccer jail?" You joke. "It's NOT a soccer jail." You can't help but giggle at how defensive he got, his face flushing red of embarrassment for falling into your taunt. "So.. are you going to do it?" You ask him, your eyes returning back to your highshool workbook. "I have been debating.." "About?" "Going" You stop your work before meeting his eyes. Isagi straightens up from your gaze, though what is always so beautiful- there is something behind it that intimidates him this once. "What's stopping you?" There is a moment of silence before he speaks. "I would have to leave for a long time, leave you for a long time." It was your turn to straighten your posture. "If it is for your dreams, then do it. He feels his mouth begin to dry, it feels hoarse almost as another memory plays.

"Yoichi!" Isagi's eyes widen, he had just arrived home from Blue Lock- and hadn't expect to see you at his house. "So, how was it?" You ask him playfully before he drops his bags, running to engulf you with embrace. You giggle as he spins you. He gently places you down, holding you close in his embrace. You hold him tightly, eyes shut enjoying this moment. You've missed him, a whole lot actually. You both lay in bed; spending hours updating each other on your lives for it has been so long. The conversation, the feeling, the laughter- nothing has changed. Before the sound of sniffling is heard. Quickly, you turn your head to see your boyfriend crying beside you. "Hey, hey. Yoichi?" You hold him closer to you as you wipe his tears with the ends of you sleeves. "I have to leave again." He refuses to look at you, almost in regret. "I made it into the top and- they are sending us off to train in Europe. I have to leave you again. I'm sorry Y/n-" Before he can finish, you cup his wet cheeks, bringing him into a loving kiss. "I told you I'll always be here."

You have always supported him, even after years and years. So why is he crying?

"Y/n, I have to go leave again." Isagi says, refusing to look at you. All you can do is sit on your shared bed calmly as you process his words. You were aware that your fiance's career revolves so much around traveling internationally and being away for some time, but just this once you hoped he would stay. It starts getting overwhelming for you too. No words were said as tension in the room begins to rise. Isagi still refuses to look at you. The silence in the room is almost suffocating, yet he refuses to speak again. "You're always leaving." Is all you can say before tears begin to cascade. Only then, Isagi turns to look at you- watching his heart and entire world shred into pieces. He has never seen you cry about him leaving.

He makes his way back to his hotel, only to be picked up in a car.

You lay alone in the shared bed of the apartment you and Isagi bought when you two became enagaged. The silence making it unbearable to sleep. It feels so cold and lonely, you despise it.

As you lay in bed, you replay the memory you had with Isagi before he left for Germany two days ago. You knew the FIFA World Cup was approaching, and that was the most important time of his career. You didn't mean to cry in front of him, you felt almost selfish asking him to stay at such a time. But, in such a time, you need him the most.

You hadn't told him yet, but a recent test had shown you positive for pregnancy. Afraid of how he would react, you thought to keep it to yourself for just a little longer as you process this news for you. Though, as it starts to eat at you, all you can do is yearn for the man you love to be by your side.

You lay a little longer, your eyes closed before the sound of your stomach grumbles. An annoyed sigh leaves your lips. Deciding not to sleep after all, you rise up gently- sliding into slippers as you walk through the spacious apartment towards the kitchen.

Fixing yourself some kintsuba and a fresh, warm batch of tea; you settle into your living room. Just as you are about to take your first bite, the sound of the doorknob clicks. You gaze turns to the front door, and there you see your fiance stand as he catches his breath.

Your eyes widen in shock before he makes his way to you.

"Yoichi- what are you doing here? You're supposed to be in Germany, you just left-" Before you can finish your sentence, his lips are locked with yours as he holds you close to him. The kiss holds so much passion, love and yearn until you both break from the kiss.

"I'm sorry for leaving you, I don't want to leave you anymore. I'm tired from having to love you from a far. I'm not going back to Germany, unless you pack your bags. Let's go together."

Realization hits you, he's here. He's really here. All you can do it let your emotions get the best of you, before sobbing into his arms. He holds you close to him, before you confess.

A moment of silence is shared between you too. The silence almost filling with anxiety before the sound of sniffling is heard. You look up only to watch Isagi sob into you, similar to when he had when he first had to leave for Germany.

What did you do? This guy is the type to only left anything if it’s urgent, about nii-chan, or about football. Other than that high chances are they are actual death threats and you are not an exception.

Though, he can not deny that you are sort of his favorite in a way—won't admit that to your face too, though. That’s why he even bothers calling you and not just left a message or tell some poor soul to call you instead. While he probably feels a bit irked that you didn’t pick up, he will save the nagging when he finally met you face to face later. And even then, most of teammates will clarify that rather than nagging it’s more like his way of asking for your extra attention. “Where are you right now?” Rin sounds like he was angry, as usual. “You better not be picking up problems left and right or I swear I will—”

A background noise that sounds like a chirpy teasing interrupted him, reminding him not to be so scary, which Rin replied with a snarling growl, “Shut up! And that wasn’t for you—I got a match so you better fucking watch it and fucking message me where you are while you are at it. He probably would not really question why you are not picking up, but mostly because whenever you got separated he will always call you in the most ungodly timing possible just for chatting. Somehow. So, at this point, it has become more of a norm for you to not pick up and just call him again later. He is not being nosy, it’s just more of how he expresses his love—sharing literally everything with you. This has led to several one-sided awkwardness from your part between you and some of his teammates, but hey Bachira Meguru’s Hottest Soccer Gossips is a very important segment in your daily life with him.

Which being said, yeah, get ready. He will talk into the phone as if you were there replying to him—and indeed he always manage to predict how you will react. Listening to his voicemail during work is a good replacement for podcasts and such as in case you are bored by them. Though, sometimes, when he is in a rush and have to keep the message shorter than usual, it’s really sweet! He rarely manage to remind you to call him back though, as it feels like norm for you to do so. Don’t forget it, so you don’t get a Bachira Meguru species asking to be carried around for the whole day on the next holiday. He has muscles and those things are not light.

“So, so, so!” Meguru began with his chirpy voice, not leaving any greeting as usual. “Today Isagi and Chigirin kind of clowned and I really, really want to tell you that story—but I gotta go fast, so I will tell you at home later, okay?” Meguru worded out each word in a rushed manner, akin to an excited buzzing bee waiting to run somewhere with skips in his steps and ball for him to dribble.

“Last night I dreamt about Zico so I will definitely win today! But I also dreamt you were there bundled up because you got a fever. Not like I’m complaining if I get to take care of you with my specials, but stay healthy, ‘kay, ‘kay?” Meguru said, jokingly yet dotting. Then, immediately, he continued, “Oh, well! That’s all—I will call again later or you could! So, see ‘ya, Lovely! Love you! Muuuach!”

- "You want me to teach ya?" He keeps asking ur with the biggest shit eating grin in the world. Not because he isn't confident, but because he loves hearing you say you need him in some way.

- He's very eager about teaching you, showing off the fact to his teammates. "My partner wants to learn soccer with me. Ya got that?" "Yes, we do..." "Well, get it again." 

- He's teaching you every thing in a very hands on way. Literally. Whenever you're practicing shooting, he's got his hands on your hips and is teaching you how to aim to the goal. How to twist your body, which way you want to look. If you get flustered, he'll just lay and kiss your cheek.

- He'll joke about private lessons but when you actually want them, he's caught off guard and nervously laughs before nodding. You love getting his composure (and clothes) off.

- Another man who loves to see you in his jersey.

- Karasu enjoys seeing you talk about soccer with him. At first, he gets the fact you don't understand a lot of words so he'll go back and repeat stuff.  But when you do know what he means, he'll try and impress you with bigger words. If you still know, he'll be impressed.

- "I needa see ya try somethin', alright doll?" And then he'll do a 180 and throw you up in the air to catch you. If you're able to do it back to him, he pretends to be a damsel in distress.

- His older sister is into soccer too and always enjoys seeing you and her brother play. Gossips about you two with his family.

ARYU JYUBEI:

- Also takes a pause and looks at you. Though as you confirm it, he puts a hand on his chest and nods, "It's expected you would like to learn from me."

- He's making sure you're safe and you look good on the field. He argues that you always look good considering the way your eyes are shaped, the way your lips are so kissable, he's just making sure you look perfect.

- He gets a jersey with your name and his last name on it for you to wear. He also does the same with his jersey and adds your last name.

- He always checks your body for any scars you for while playing and tends to them, even if they're small blisters. He adores pampering you.

- He teaches you by telling you to follow his actions. Like a certain kick, a certain play style, he's very much teaching you how to copy things he does.

- He's a very metaphor based person. He uses things that you like to help explain soccer more to you. He doesn't know if you'll understand all the terms otherwise.

- "You looked absolutely glam when you made that goal." "Thank you!" "Why of course." He's extremely polite with these sorts of things.

- Asks you to tie up his hair before the beginning of every match.

On any normal day (Y/n) didn't mind the chaos the boys caused her, after all they were under a lot of pressure, so she let them unwind while cleaning up after them. But today was not one of those days. Ever since the preparations for the next Blue Lock phase started she felt like they were more and more chaotic, while she was losing herself more and more in all of her work. The whole week was just a whole mess for her, from running errands for Anri and Ego, to breaking up fights between the teammates, she just felt like giving up. Right now, she was enjoying some quiet time in the lunch hall, just drinking some tea while fighting back sleep.

"This morning was so tiring...." She winced while grabbing her stomach. This morning, Rin accidentally kicked the football past the goal, which ended up hitting (Y/n) in the stomach. This caused a loud argument between the captain, Isagi and Barou. (Y/n) tried to stop them, but the fussing coming from Aryu and Hiori stopped her. She was annoyed that they didn't let her handle the issue, instead Kurona and Yukimiya ended up dragging her toward the infirmary.

Next thing that happened was an hour after the first incident. Karasu and Otoya were practicing with Bachira and Aryu, (Y/n) was as usually sitting and taking down the stats of the 4. Nothing unusual. Until Bachira decided to goof around with the football and yell at (Y/n) to watch him do some tricks. She admitted, they were impressive, and she commented on how great they are. Her comments along with the impressed look on her face caused the other three to start doing the same. The problem was that there were 4 of them and (Y/n) would have to look every 2 seconds at a different player, which did make her dizzy. Ego had noticed the commotion and yelled at all 5 of them to get back to training.

The 3rd incident happened barely an hour ago at lunch time. (Y/n) was sitting with Gagamaru, Isagi and Chigiri during the time, and while talking with the 3, she didn't notice an argument between Kunigami and Nagi unfolding. Everyone knew that (Y/n) barely ever ate her dessert, it had too much protein, so she would always left it to one of the players to eat. The dessert was pretty much the highlight of their day and the team agreed on whoever got the most points for the day, will get the sweet treat. This arrangement worked for 2 months, but today was the first time that two players were tied in points.

Kunigami and Nagi were both known to be level headed and somewhat apathetic towards everything, except when it comes to their manager and her attention,  that's when both are pretty much irrational.

"I think you seem to misunderstood me, Nagi. I am getting it today." Kunigami said, sending a tight smile towards the albino.

"And you seemed to have misunderstood me, Kunigami. But that pudding is mine."

"Calm down, you two." Niko rolled his eyes, still mad that he lost this time.

(Y/n), blissfully unaware of that whole agreement, noticed Gagamaru staring at her dessert. Knowing she won't eat it anyways, she decided to give it to him.

"Here. I won't eat. Hope you like strawberry flavor." She said, handing the surprised Gagamaru her food.

Chigiri and Isagi gasped silently. They shortly sent the flustered goalie jealous glares before looking at Kunigami and Nagi, who were staring degers at Gagamaru.

"A-are you sure?" The boy asked as (Y/n) nodded her head, smiling warmly at the boy.

"Of course-"

"Gagamaru, you traitor!" The two flinched and looked in surprise at Nagi.

"Ha?" (Y/n) panicked a little as she saw Kunigami and Nagi glaring at the duo.

"Keep it down, you two." Reo rolled his eyes, earning a nod from Tokimitsu.

"M-maybe we should let Gagamaru have-"

"Shut it, Tokimitsu!" Kunigami and Nagi yelled and then started arguing with Gagamaru. It eventually spread across the whole lunch room, and (Y/n) started twitching a little. Nobody was listening to her as she tried to calm it down. Was it the exhaustion or pure desperation to shut everyone up, but (Y/n) eventually started crying silently. Lost in her own thoughts while crying, she wasn't paying attention to what the rest were saying.

"I am the fastest. The dessert is mine!" Chigiri earned a show from Aryu at that.

"You forget I was in the top3 and I am the one with the better hair."

"Oh, shut up you peasants! You all are beneath me and (Y/n), therefore the pudding is mine."

"Says who? You, Barou? You do not have the charm to be anywhere near (Y/n)."

"Otoya, you cheated on your girlfriends. What makes you think you are worthy?" Yukimiya sighed.

"And what about you, Yukimiya? You are so plain, there is no way she will fall for you. Now me on the other hand-"

"Oh, shut up Karasu. Your charms are below Antarctica's temperatures." Niko groaned.

"I think the cutest one of us should get the pudding. So me-"

"Bachira, that would be me. I am also the ace, so that's just a bonus." Isagi smiled, earning a glare from Rin

"Pipe it down, you two can barely pick up a 2nd language." The captain added in.

"English is hard." The two protested.

"I think the richest one should have a say in the dessert." Reo smirked, earning louder protests.

Tokimitsu shivered a little in fright and looked over at (Y/n), freezing for a moment as he saw her crying.

"What's up, Tokimitsu?" Hiori wondered, one of the few who decided not to argue. Kurona looked over to where Tokimitsu was looking, and his eyes widened in surprise as he saw her crying too. He nudged Hiori.

"Look." Kurona said and the cyan-haired boy looked at (Y/n). He wasted no time and ran to her side, followed by Tokimitsu and Kurona.

"He-hey, don't take it to heart. They are stupid like that." Tokimitsu said as he patted the sobbing girl's back. Kurona and Hiori moved closer, both trying to calm her down, all three felt their hearts breaking as they watched her cry. The room grew slowly quiet too, as the rest looked at (Y/n) in concern and guilt.

"(Y/n)...." Chigiri gulped.

"It's just hard to keep up with you all. You keep arguing and destroying things at times... and it's just hard to keep up... I can usually take it, but I guess today isn't my day." A wave of guilt hit the team as they quickly scrambled for the right words. The last thing they wanted was for their (Y/n) to cry, or worse, contemplate on leaving them.

"Tokimitsu, go and take (Y/n) somewhere quiet to calm down. The rest of you stay here." Rin said, quickly getting unto his captain mode. The rest said nothing, deciding not to make things worse, and they watched with guilt and sadness as (Y/n) got dragged out by Tokimitsu.

"Alright, listen up." Rin spoke up, causing the rest to look at him.

"We need to pull our shit together, unless we want (Y/n) to leave and for some other manager to replace her. The team pretty much shuddered at the idea, there was no way someone will replace her!

"So, what's your idea, captain?" Barou wondered.

"I will tell you, but first... Reo, I need you to do some calls." The billionaire heir raised his eyebrow and slowly nodded his head.

And soo, that was what had happened. (Y/n) ended up crying for about 30 minutes as Tokimitsu stayed around, just in case. The boy was collected and calm, no sign of his previous fidgety demeanor. After she calmed down, she apologized to Tokimitsu for inconveniencing him, but the boy didn't mind.

"If you feel down again, don't be afraid to tell us. We will listen." The boy said with a smile, which calmed her down a lot.

After lunch, she went back to her normal duties, helping the other staff members and the team out. To her surprise, they didn't cause any ruckus, they were calm and friendly. Even Rin, Isagi and Barou stayed away from arguing with each other. Unbeknownst to her, whenever a staff member tried to scold her, Karasu, Aryu and Nagi would send them warning glares. They alone caused them to back off quickly. All in all, the day went pretty well, and (Y/n) felt a lot lighter now. She slowly walked into her bedroom, and stopped at the entrance as she noticed a box on her bed. Slowly walking towards it, she looked at the note on the box and slowly started reading it. (Y/n)'s eyes widened a little as she read it through, realizing that the team sent her this, and her heart melted at the apology they wrote out.

'They are chaotic... but I love them like that.' She smiled and slowly opened the box, only to find various treats that she could only buy outside of Blue Lock's facility, she even got a small (f/c) bear.

'They probably made Reo get this...' She chuckled and plopped on the bed, hugging the bear close to herself.

'I will make it up to them... maybe Teieri-san can help me get them some small gift next week.' She thought, slowly falling asleep.
