well XFOHV art specifically ive been doing for like 4 years now I wanna say….. heres some of my xfohv art from when my hyperfixation on it first started

but like bfdi art in general ive been doing for WAY longer.. oldest I can find right now thougj would be arts from like 2018 I wanna say but theyre so embarrassing so heres some stuff from late 2019 and early 2020😭😭

Since 2017 I dont think ive ever loved the contestants more than the algebraliens cuz even tho at the time there were only four and x, then eventually two. I drew them way more than the contestants LOL. I even loved fan videos of how the other numbers could potentially be like before the characters like Six & Nine were introduced… its been a long while since i first got into the osc…

Hi guys! From this point forth, we will be removing ANY confessions deemed to be “low effort.” (The TL;DR is anything written in bold. I provided further in depth explanation to hopefully answer any potential questions if any section confuses you.)

What we will consider low effort:

>Anything less than a sentence, such as just stating just a character name or just a ship name.

>Confessions that contain a similar premise to another confession submitted in quick succession. Such as “Bot ii is my favorite character” followed shortly by “I love Bot ii”. That being said, confessions expressing the same viewpoint but proposing different ideas will NOT be considered the same confession. If a confession submitted after another echoes a similar opinion, mods may choose to screenshot or copy and paste the second confession and attach it to the original confession. (Note that this may only occur if the secondary confession is submitted off anon or uses an anon tag; any anonymous repetitive asks without any identification will simply be deleted.)

>General spam confessions will also be deleted, such as if the same user/anon submits the same ask over and over (such as “I love bot ii!” followed by “bot ii is so me!” followed by “bot ii yay” etc. or if they just spam the inbox with the same exact confession over and over.) If your post does not break the rules, it will eventually be posted. Be patient, please do not submit the same/similar confession every day thinking that will speed up the process.

>Non-confessions. Shitposts or images that are not confessions may be deleted. This depends more on the moderator queueing, but if the content is considered to be irrelevant it may be removed. Similarly, posts that are one sentence followed by a long and irrelevant copypasta that floods the feed may be deleted. We do still permit posts that may just be asking for recommendations/asking questions/etc. but we may become a bit stricter with what actually queues. >Finally, we encourage you to compile any similar thoughts into one confession. Rather than confessing “I love bot ii” and then submitting another confession stating “I love four bfdi”, you can combine these into one confession regarding favorite characters.

The definition of “low effort” varies from mod to mod, there is no concrete definition, however if your confession falls under one of the above categories it will more likely than not be deleted.

These rules will be implemented to help reduce spam and allow us to keep the ask box open more frequently, as the queue hopefully will not get as long! Unfortunately we can only post a maximum of 50 posts per day (with automatic queue), so once the queue exceeds high volumes (it’s at like 300 right now 😭) we get a really bad backup of confessions, and it takes even longer to have confessions post.

If you want to submit a confession, we do encourage you to refrain from submitting redundant asks (i.e., if you agree with a confession, commenting rather than submitting an entire confession in agreement or reiterating the posted ask is preferred.) We also encourage not submitting asks considered ‘popular opinions,’ or that are just repeating confirmed canon. This definition, of course, is different for everyone, and asks considered ‘popular opinions’ won’t always be removed, however reducing confessions that simply repeat a sentiment shared by pretty much everyone or that are just stating canon fact (such as ‘i hate proshippers’ or ‘two tpot is an algebralien.’) will allow more thought-provoking and interesting (or discourse-y) content a chance to be posted.

If you believe your confession falls under any of the above categories, it’s strongly preferred you do not submit it so that mods can focus more on queueing rather than deleting spam.

When he aggressively Confronted you the first the thing you did was Screech at him and he woke up on the floor. He was then after that very weary of you after that. Strange things happened around Us in the group after that people even made a legend around us. Even to this day he still doesn't quite get you and your aura but he loves you for it although to the outside looking in people can sense that their is something dark about you for example Macaque and Sandy.

(MKR Wukong) Yooooooooo your Marriage is so Chaotic and Unusual that you make him For once want to be a responsible person. Your antics are so unpredictable that even The monk doesn't know your next mood. And you have stun people with your Screeching and it was funny until it happened to him. And more weird things have happened around you such as stretching your limbs, you bing able to manifest out of thin air and warp and mutilate demons from a distance. Silly girl screeches alot thanks to you and Luier is asking even more questions then ever with every Chaotic phenomena and he has to find some way to deal with it. But on the bright side You care very much for him and the kids but he always finds some interesting about you and it frightens and enlightens him.

(NR Wukong) Chaos Chaos CHAOS PEOPLE🤯🤯🤯. Wukong is tamed compared to you. From your Random Screeching to you weird quirks and abilities to the crazy sh*t you say and ask and do. He loves it but it slowly starts to disturb him because you seem to be unaware of what you can do and of what happens around you. And he if starts to get Careful and cautious of you well.... that's when Li and Su become alarmed by you as well.

(Netflix Wukong) He can match your energy like a puzzle piece. He quickly learns that you love to play games and are quite the free spirit and the best part is you never judge him on what he says and do. In fact you totally encourage it but Lin quickly points out our rather unusual life. We of course never give her a Straight answer on to what's going on but she's worried and a little suspicious of you. But As for Wukong he loves spending every day with you and loves your quirky self Sure he can do without the screeching , but he doesn't want you to ever change.

i think “Lo-Fi Beats to Yoyle To” is one of my favorite not episode bfdi videos (is it a short? i guess its moreso a music video) purely because of how comfy it is and the slice of life-y ness of it. “its not canon-“ I DONT CARE SHOOTING U WITH MY EVIL LASER!!! um anyway yeah under the cut is me analyzing multiple scenes from it. i wont be looking into every single one but a lot of them

THE FIRST SCENE and its already a banger. even tho we dont see this hypothetical “team ice cube room” ever outside of this (yeah yeah not canon) it still is so interesting to like. think about. i cant remember how many times we’ve seen objects fall asleep at night but. i love how gelatin has a biiig sleep bubble thats him colored (does it taste like jelly??) AND. FIREY JR. SLEEPS IN A SOCK. thats adorable. anyway yeah even if its a reference to the lofi girl i really like how donut is, presumebly, writing in his diary? late at night with lofi music on? thats so cute. i also love how you can see a picture of bomby and a statue of ice cube on the top shelf

THIS SCENE is awesome too - we never really saw the big staircase outside of bfb 1 & 11 but i love the idea so much that it became a hangout spot for the objects! (in bfb 11x it even has graffiti on it after its first appearance in bfb 1, which is such a cool detail and goes to show the lived-in ness which i adore and this short does so well. and rhat isnt even in this video!! the point im making - bring back the big staircase. where did it go) even flower and bomby, characters who we never saw interact and are on different teams are listening to music together and eating bananas. thats so awesome, i love the idea that the contestants are way more chill with eachother when not competing? everything revolves around the competition which makes sense, but i love these little moments

next up! first off i love the lighting here, it seems to be at sunrise or sunset with the orange sky which is SO interesting cuz. we never see sunrise or sunset in the show!!!! its always just day or night. its crazy how they excluded the best time of day. anyway i love how:

OMG ITS THE BFDI (Burried forest, deciduously insulated) again!!! i love seeing this thing, its similar to the paper airplanes or staircase where its so cool to see things which are one-off moments/objects/places in episodes, seeing them multiple times really helps flesh out the world. ALSO. naily and barfbag playing/vibing in the water. thats so adorable

the next scene is one where we see a few bleh members in their room from bfb 12 - once again going back to it being so cool to see places from other challenges!! (even if it appears to be the case that four just made and destroyed them for the episode.)

as you can SEE i specifically chose to highlight taco here. SHES JUST DRAWING A PICTURE OF HERSELF AND LABELING IT ME??? thats so cute i love her for that

LAST ONE i want to go over: oh my GOD?? ITS LEGO BRICK IN ONE OF THE LEVELS FROM BFDIA 5B?? this was and still is such a cool reference. the idea that they’re still stuck in evil leafy is such a interesting and sad idea!! the lofi music gives this scene an heir of loneliness which makes it so weirdly compelling to me.

anyway yeah thats it!!! if theres one thing to learn one of the best thints competition shows can and should do imo is slow down every once in a while and show the contestants living their lives. this was seen more recently with bfdia 13 but this video is another great example and it doesnt even use words or a story. it doesnt need to, the object show is a visual media and this is such an awesome video which tells us so much about the bfdi universe without words

is there a reason those gods resemble bfdi characters? are those characters actually gods, or just some representation or common belief?

but I have more questions for the next:

why is that monster pencil? and stage four of the dusk is an umbra. infected people are penumbras. is there by any chance a reason behind them being called PENumbras and pencil being shown as a monster in that panel? a sort of "patient 0" of the dusk?

plus, why would marker know this tale? because his sister was the first person infected? was it just a tale passed through people, and he doesn't have any idea why he knows it?

that would also help why it was called the dusk- as the monsters were in caves underground?

1. They're a combination of those two things. The gods (I also call them Deities) are real. However, as higher beings, their actions, motives and existence itself are incomprehensible for the objects: they don't know why a deity would do "bad" or "good", or even why interact with them in first place. Soon the creatures would create their own beliefs and myths to explain their nature, representing them with symbols and giving them their "themes", like "god of the rain", "god of death" and that stuff

In a nutshell: gods are real but they're incomprehensible beings, so objects created symbols and meanings of them to give sense to their nature

(I know it's a bit messy idea to understand, but stick with me)

2. That's not our Pencil, it's just doe one of the same kind as her, Pen and Marker (rats + writing utensils) (I still don't have a name for the Species-)

3. Nope. The thing that's going to be told in THE KING isn't the Dusk, it's just a different thing, a tale from where Marker and his siblings are from, their local folklore. Marker just knows and likes a lot of these stories and legends told to him throughout his life. Maybe he's very aware of what he's telling, maybe not, who knows

tbh I absolutely loved this observations, they make sense in someway lol, but wait for part 2 and the others, these may answer other questions (or make more?)

EPIC: The Musical x Inanimate Insanity

Except there's one problem- I can't figure out who Odysseus is- So how this will work is that I'm putting what the role would be for Mephone4, Test Tube, and Nickel in that order. (Below it I will also explain why)

Odysseus: MePhone4/Test Tube/Nickel

IS the main character of Inanimate Insanity so makes sense to be the main one in this. Also a very morally complicated character, similar to Odysseus. Has many relations that make casting easier and is also intelligent like Odysseus. Tbh...I kinda want excuse to make a Nickel focused AU- ok but actually casting for him is decent and he's also morally...hmmmm. different-y.

Penelope: MePad/Fan/Baseball

MePad is like the only one that makes sense for Mephone4 (unless there's someone better y'all can think of, I'm happy to hear it!) Ship.

Telemachus: Bot (?)/Bot/???

I don't know what would make sense here??? But he has a close-ish relationship with Bot so eh- It's her and Fan's child. LITERALLY w h o?

Eurylochus: Toilet/Paintbrush/Balloon

It fits with the whole betraying thing and Toilet being the right hand man makes sense in this case. Main thing off is personality. Fits personality pretty well and makes sense for Test Tube. It's like how Balloon and Nickel becomes friends but backwards. (also just imagining in Puppeteer Balloon saying "those dumbasses got in there just because there was a woman-" as a demi flag just appears.)

Polites: ???/Lightbulb/Suitcase

Tbh, I don't know who this would be for Mephone4. She LITERALLY gets Test Tube to see things from a different perspective JUST like Polites. She just IS Polites (early season 2 at LEAST)

The Infant: Bow/Bow/???

Parallels Bow's death in season 1. The song mentions "you low-key remind me of my son" which makes a lot of sense for Bow and Bot. Slight problem with Nickel, he's less of a "how could I hurt you" and more of a "give me that baby and I'd yeet it off a tower" so idk

Athena: Cabby/Cabby/Tea Kettle

This is mainly for God Games honestly, as in defending MePhone4 against the unvitationals. Feels like Test Tube would just yell "YOU'RE ALONE" to her ass. Okay but actually their dynamic works pretty well here. Tea Kettle's got the sass for this role as well as well as the badassery for it.

Polyphemus: MePhoneX/MePhoneX/MePhoneX

He's just a good symbol of death. Plus I think the X makes sense to be one eye.

Aeolus: Clover/Clover/Clover

The goofiness just straight up works for her in this, I would also like to mention it works extra well for nickel but it definitely fits the other two.

Poseidon: Silver Spoon/Silver Spoon/Silver Spoon

This is mainly just because of who I'm planning to be Circe... Yeah maybe not the best but I don't have much else.

Circe: Candle/Candle/Candle

She is Circe.

Hermes: Springy/Springy or Goo/Springy or Goo

Springy is PERFECT for this being weirdly friendly because he wants something out of it but never clear exactly what it is, that laugh, just being goofy, trying to make some kind of weird deal with MePhone4, it WORKS. For the other two main reasons for pretty much the same the only reason who is a possibility is because of the GOOfiness and honestly I just want him to be in this-
