My headcanons of how the recoms take care of you when you're sick.

I have no idea if they have stores in Bridgehead, but just imagine that they have a grocery store or something.

🌍 Recom Miles Quaritch You really miss him, because even tho he wanted nothing more than to stay with you, he needs to take care of his other responsibilities. He ordered you to stay in bed, so obviously you’re sneaking out of bed when he’s gone and just doing whatever you feel like in your room (You have a habit of doing the exact opposite of what he wants you to do when you’re off shift because “Fuck you, you can’t tell me what to do”). You’re not expecting him home soon, until… “What are you doing out of bed?” “Uh, nothing, I just got up to use the bathroom” Cue Miles cocking his eyebrow and staring at you until you tell the truth. “Okay, okay! You win! i'm going back to bed” Usually orders one of your other partners to check up on you every five minutes.

😈 Recom Lyle Wainfleet This man- he would tease you so much. "Hahahaha, you're so sick.. get it? you're sick and are sick as a person.." Cue your angry glare. I think he would also take care of you so (too) much. You better be ready for this man's attention, because he's going to give it all to you!! You want some food? he'll order it (he'll try to cook what you want first and it's looking burned as shit, he'll order the food and say that he cooked it for you) "Oh yeah, I totally cooked it for you!" He would also be the type of partner to spoil you a lot during your sickness, want some cuddles? he'll give them to you even if he might be sick for the next few days. This boy doesn’t mind it, all he wants is you to feel better. He'll check on google ‘how to help someone with sickness’ and he'll try to make you fall asleep by singing (it makes you feel worse, but you don’t tell him).

🍬 Recom Z-dog Actually gets angry at you for getting sick. But she gets angry not because you’re sick, but because she’s worried. She’s the best health care taker you could ever ask for (after Ja, because the medic obviously knows best). Will blackmail Quaritch into letting her and Walker take care of you together. Cue impromptu girls day. She won’t give you any nice words (because she’s angry), but she will cuddle you for hours. Angry cuddles™. If you get cravings for junk food, she won’t give it, because “That won’t make you better Sweets.” When you’re better, she’ll offer you one of her last pieces of gum.

🥽 Recom Walker Takes care of you together with Z-dog. Will text Ja every minute to ask him what to do/what you need. She'll buy you so much food and goodies to make your sickness week not so terrible. She’ll call Z-dog and tells her to put the phone on speaker. "Hey Peach, I'm currently at the store. What do you need or want? oh and by the way, forget money exists, thank you!! "I love you." "What do you mean 'forget money exists' you still have to take care of your wallet lol.. but if you could find any of *fav food/desserts* it would make me super happy”. After she hangs up the phone she gets a confirmation text from Z-dog that she made you smile.

😎 Recom Mansk This man is excited and super happy. Not excited and happy because you're sick, but because he can *finally* take care of you! Would never show these emotions to you or your other partners, but thinks to himself, “I can finally take care of her without her complaining!" He would do anything for you. Want some soup? he'll make you some. Stubbornly refuses to buy you any food. “Whatever you want, I can make for you.” If he needs to leave for a while, he'll make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need close to you while he's gone so you don't have to move.

🧯 Recom Prager This man caters to your every need, “Do you need anything? I can get more blankets, food, water?” “I'm okay, Honey.” He still gets you all the stuff. Every 10 seconds he asks if you’re okay and if he needs to get Ja. You refuse. He still drags your other partner in for a check-up. If he isn’t with you, he’s telling everyone about how one of his partners is sick and he needs to get back to them. Since you're sick, he'll do your chores or the things you needed to do that day, even tho you protest a lot at that. "What did I tell you, baby? If you're sick, then I'll take care of anything. I really don't mind, love. Please, go back to bed, I don't want you to catch a cold." "How can I catch a cold-" "Everything's possible okay? One time, Lyle catched a cold while it was summer. Everything can happen, I’m telling you."

⚕️ Recom Ja As the official medic, he takes care of getting you back to health and leaves the rest of your care to your other partners. Of course he’d want to 100% take care of you, but he knows that he’s not the only one in the relationship and that his other partners also want to take care of you. So Ja does the medical things and lets the others do the rest. He also knows that you’ll go crazy if you have another person hovering over you. And either way, the other recoms drag him from his other work every five minutes to tell him to do a check-up to see if you’re any better. “Guys, it’s only been ten minutes, she’s not suddenly better.” For his sanity, your sickness better not last long, since everyone keeps second guessing what he does and questioning if he’s sure that’s what you need. Eventually snaps, but understands that they mean well and are just worried for you.

🧢 Recom Brown The second he hears that you’re sick, he lets out the most unholy sound and ditches whatever he’s doing to look for you. He literally barges into your room, freaks out when you lie limp in your bed (you’re asleep, duh), lets out an even unholier sound and scrambles your brain while trying to wake you. He’s a dramatic bitch who thinks he’s dying when he’s sick, so obviously the same goes for you. Doesn’t know shit about what to do, so he does the most sensible thing he can think of. “JA!!, BABYGIRL IS DYING!!” Let’s Ja take care of you, but hovers around you and questions everything Ja does. Eventually Ja snaps and kicks him out because “I’m the goddamn medic, I didn’t study for years just to have you second guessing what I’m doing damnit!” So Brown just ends up sitting outside your room like a kicked puppy.

📿 Recom Lopez This man watches over you when you’re asleep like a watch hound. Runs errands for you, since you can't. He would kiss your forehead and write on a sticky note, just in case, you wake up and are confused as to where he is. "Hey Mami, I went to the store since ur sick. If you're thirsty, I made you some tea. Apparently, it’ll give you energy and it helps when you're sick. Ily, I'll be back soon <3" I can totally see him remember his childhood where if he was sick as a child, his latino grandma would give him a shot of tequila. “There boy, that’ll make you feel better.” So he spiked your tea with a shot of tequila. Ja found out and chased him around the base while yelling curses and trying to kill him. “I swear to god Lopez, I’m gonna fucking kill you!”

⛓️ Recom Fike He’s very dedicated to his partners, so when you get sick? It’s not just your illness it’s both of yours illness. Literally tho, he’s so clingy and cuddly that he gets the flu from you. He gets you snacks even though you don’t ask for it, he just wants to help. Sometimes he succeeds, sometimes he doesn't. He’s not the best care-taker of them all, but he’s a loving one. If you two end up being sick together, it gives you two (in your minds) the right to boss your other partners around. Quaritch contemplates chastising you because, even tho he loves you two so much, he’s still your CO. He makes you do triple the amount of pushups once y'all are recovered.

LAUGH HEADCANONS bare with me I'm not great with describing laughter

Peppino: Might do a tiny giggle or full on cackles. I don't see him happy enough, so I feel like he has a good sense of humor. (He's both hehehehehe and GAHAHAHAHAAAAA). Sometimes wheeze if you make him laugh hard enough.

Gustavo: Definitely chuckles. I feel like he has a jolly, goofy laugh. Probably laughs at silly little things. Tries to make Peppino laugh a lot. Brick makes him laugh quite a bit. (Huh huh huh huh huh!)

Mr. Stick: Definitely has a nasally cartoony laugh like he has in game. Has a broken sense of humor. Probably laughs at the funnies or cheesy jokes. (Nyeh heh heh heh!)

Pepperman: LOUD and obnoxious. I really like the laugh the v/a did in temorinki's video. Like Mr. Stick, he has a terrible sense of humor. Really likes Garfield comics, thinks they're hilarious. (HAHAHAHAHA HA HA HA!!!!)

The Vigilante: Old man laugh, you can still hear his accent through it. He doesn't laugh much, he's a super serious guy. Imagine an older, slower, western Seth Rogan laugh. (Gyeh heh heh heh!)

The Noise: Has many laughs. His true, authentic laugh is a bit nasally and interrupted by sudden gasps for air (HAHA *inhale* HAHAHAHA *inhale*). He might snicker or laugh through his nose. He might even full blown cackle. (KAA HA HA HAA HAA HAAAAA).

Noisette: Also has a couple laughs. She giggles more and will snort if you make her laugh hard enough (she gets super embarrassed about it). She also has a loud cackle when she finds something hysterical. (Hehehehehe *snort* hehehe! or HAAAHAHAHAAAAHAAAAAAA!)

Fake Peppino: His laugh isn't much of a laugh and more of sounds. The sounds he makes while laughing are more similar to the noises he makes in game but shorter. (Hmm! Hmmmm! Hmmmm! or GHAHSGHEJSJSA!)

Pizzaface: His is basically just the in game, maybe a few different pitches up when something is REALLY funny.

Pizzahead: Giggles or cackles. Loves laughing at people's misfortune, thinks Peppino's misery is HILARIOUS. His laugh is basically the one he has in game. (HA HA HA HA HA! or Tee he he he he!)

Pillar John: DEEP and throaty laughter. Very jolly guy. His laugh is loud enough to cause an earthquake. Also has a very monkey-like laugh like the one he has in game. (GAHAHAHAHA!! or OHH HOO HOO HOO)

Gerome: Doesn't laugh much, but his laugh is kind of like John's; deep and jolly. He might give a small "heh..." here and there, but when he laughs, he laughs HARD. (GAAAAHAAAAAHAAAHAAAA!!!)

I watched Mr. Yuurivoice's stream last night alongside watching Howl's Moving Castle again & kept thinking about Auron. Like, I think someone asked on his stream if the listener is actually dating Auron? Honestly, shit got me thinking about the Howl's Moving Castle scene where the Witch of Waste notices that Sophie has fallen in love with Howl.

So, just like, imagine this:

Trish notices Auron's increasing "interest" in Rook. Just like think about it.

Trish turns to Auron as he sighs, looking at Rook. Trish notices then, "You're in love." she breaks the silence. Auron doesn't break his gaze at Rook. "Don't deny it. You've been sighing all day."

My thoughts on Episodes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (semi-live reaction because I'm listening to these while I'm working now, but it's really good. Let me know if you want me to split up by episodes or include time stamps in the future):

Okay. They can't shut Hera off. That seems ominous. I'm not sure if it's ominous because the time will come when they want to shut her off, or ominous because the time will come when a bad guy finally figures out how to shut her off. Either way not good.

This also seems like a lot of effort for toothpaste. How did Douglas get hired? He seems like a huge liability. Also, why are they running out of supplies? Shouldn't they have a ship coming to restock them at some point or a return date? They mention "Earth", but so far I don't think anyone has mention loved ones they left behind, a return date, or anything like that.

I like the captain though (I can't spell her name, I'm so sorry).

Why does Douglas (and apparently everyone) hate physical examinations? They're in space. It's not like they can force them to run a mile...right?

MCTNA meta'y thoughts

So I rewatched episode one with @kiriel123 yesterday and then had to go on and watch episode two after seeing @ohyesmissjane had watched the first two and it sparked a bunch of thoughts and given @seamayweed was linking to meta posts today I thought I would actually post them instead of just having them all in my brain- this is mostly very basic cultural studies critique/unpacking of some moments within the first two episodes - as I continue my rewatch I will likely post more.

Spoilery, long thoughts under the cut

So in episode one something that is extremely interesting from an embodiment/gender/sexuality standpoint is Hwi and Hui-jae and the fact that when Hui-jae and Hwi first meet he thinks that she is a boy (and continues to do so up until the "makeover" scene in Iwharu IMO - Hwi is clearly shocked to see her in women's clothes.)

Note that when he sees the wanted poster his first comment is "he looks very pretty" and one might argue this is played for laughs but. I don't think he is joking - he's being a little cheeky, sure, but it isn't a hahahaha no homo moment at least IMO.

Then we have the scene where he and Hui-jae are hiding from the guards and pressed up against each other and there is UST stuff going on but note, Hwi STILL THINKS SHE IS A BOY. I feel like this is not talked about a lot and yes, the "boy is attracted to a girl who is dressed as a boy" is absolutely a common trope all the way back to early literature but. Again. It doesn't feel like it is played for laughs.

Not to mention the colour choices that connect Seon-ho and Hui-jae as rivals for Hwi's affections:

In semiotics the connotative image is one where a sign or symbol stands in as a representation of meaning - colour here connotes a link between Seon-ho and Hui-jae, the colours don't EXACTLY match but the tones are very similar and I'm choosing to interpret this as a common link between the two where the other common link is Hwi.

And then speaking of Hui-jae I did want to mention something that I've been thinking about for a while which is the centrality of Hui-jae in the traumatic events that shape Hwi and Seon-ho's trajectory.

To me this is a really subtle and fascinating thing which may not be obvious on first watch (at least it wasn't to me) and that is Hui-jae's decisions that put into motion the chain of events of the start of the series.

In Episode One, when Hui-jae meets Hwi and Seon-ho and implicates them in her poster-pasting she unwittingly sets into motion a chain of events that is absolutely devastating to all three of them.

Seon-ho is targeted by Chi-do's subordinate as a "poster paster" and is injured in the fight

Nam Jeon bribes the state examiner because Seon-ho is injured (one could argue he would have done this regardless, but he says as much to Seon-ho at least and whether he is lying or not the two events are linked)

Hwi has a Very Bad Time (tm)

Hui-jae seeks justice for the cheating scandal by reporting the bribe

Seon-ho, desperate to save Hwi (and feeling like there are no other options) does The Thing

Hwi has a Very Bad Time (tm)

Seon-ho also having a terrible time saves Yeon

Seon-ho finds Hwi in Liaodong (sob, swoon)

Under threats to Yeon's life, Seon-ho lies to Hwi about her being alive

Hwi and Yeon and Seon-ho all have a Very Bad Time (tm) for approximately 12 more episodes (not so much for Yeon of course but I digress)

So I think this is fascinating for a number of reasons - largely because it shows how at the start of the series, Hui-jae is very much an actor and a catalyst (that dissolves later, unfortunately, but I love her ferocity at the start before she basically becomes secondary to Hwi's story and really just an extension of him, which is a real shame in my mind)

I liken her to a young university activist who makes decisions based on passionate principle - someone who thinks on an individual rather than a collective level even though they believe they are thinking about the collective and as Madam Seol attempts to address with her, there are consequences for those actions, which, sadly, ironically, cause great harm to the people she is trying to protect.

Please note this is not intended to be a character-bashing post - I don't hate/dislike Hui-jae for the decisions she makes (or, in fact, at all!). The thing I love about MCTNA is that all three of our main characters make EXTREMELY POOR decisions because that is what you do when you are powerless and attempting to assert/maintain agency and don't believe you have choices.

The villain here is society and those who one could argue ARE villains (Nam Jeon for one) are very clearly representations of that corrupt and inequitable society. Bang-won complicates this but that is a post for another day!

Well, barely made it after taking a very cold shower, but here I am. I missed all the bullshit going around before the race, thankfully. The shitshow is about to begin. Am I excited? Nope. Do I want it to be short and over right now? Yep.

Very clean start in general, maybe there was something tricky at the back of the grid but for now no clue. Oh, apparently Piastri had a very good start and ate up a few people. Moving on. Sargeant pits because of a broken front wing. No idea what happened. Moving on as well.

Sharl takes Kevin amidst Sid the Sloth's tries and then they both lose position. Tell me again how that car's not illegal 🤣 Apparently, someone made a sandwich outta Lewis at the start. No idea who. Estie Bestie going flying over those turns.

This is just... Meh. Even Alonso and Sainz said to the Spanish media that Fraudstappen would be 1st by lap 25 at most. AT MOST. I mean, if that doesn't tell you anything, I don't know what will. Even they know it's a lost cause already. Pretty sad. And seeing how it's going, he'll be 1st by the time they're on lap 15, 20 at most and I don't think it'll take that long since Carlos is useless.

Meanwhile, Lewis is still P13 and Sharl is P8. Can this be any sadder? Don't think so. Are you really saying that the most interesting thing of this race might be Kevin, Sharl and Estie Bestie fighting? Unbelievable. It's somewhat exciting to watch, not gonna lie to you.

I kinda blacked out for a minute. Not really, it's just... I'm not paying that much attention. This race is complete and utter bullshit. Just like this sport. The FIA wanted Mercedes (Lewis, but saying Mercedes is because that's the team he drives for, basically) out of the way, that's why they pushed these new regulations and instead of making it exciting as they promised they would, they just made RBR untouchable. That's it. No competition, no racing, no nothing. Absolutely heartbreaking, if you ask me. At least for what I gather, Lewis had competition all the way regardless of how crushingly powerful his cars were back then. He competed, not just drove to the sunset and forget about everyone else.

I just need someone to explain to me how the only 2 teams that breached the cost cap and were barely given a slap on the wrist for it, are the teams leading the championship and every single race, and why the fuck no other team is boicotting the sport or doing anything at all because of it.

I'm done with the race. I just hope both RBRs just crash against each other. It's the only chance of anything remotely interesting happening. So Fernando is watching the race ON THE SCREENS. I think that tells you everything that you need to know about this race.

The only interesting thing was seeing Lewis passing Sharl. That's it. Seriously, this needs to end.

I missed writing a little longer posts

While I stopped drawing frequently I started to develop more the issue of the backstore and the context of Soft Bully's story

But... I ended up going too far. Like, I was very concerned about having an extremely well-constructed story full of stuff, and I ended up engaging some headcannons about the Council. Since they have a certain connection with my OCs, and are part of the context that I found. Speaking of the Council, MY GOD, what UNBEARABLE people.

I had to study the way they speak, see their participation and interactions all for my own instead of just copying and pasting some research that someone has already done, Do you know why?! BECAUSE NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE COUNCIL

AND IT'S TOTALLY UNDERSTANDABLE, because not even I cared, and even now I don't want to admit that I care

They were all portrayed as shallow villains before the legendary Rick & Morty Presents: Council of Ricks. If it weren't for this comic they would be 100% headcannons that I casually pulled from the depths of my clinically insane mind. I mean these guys just did terrible stuff because there was power in their hands and they could do that. ALL BY CONVENIENCE

What im trying to say is: I do roleplay. Roleplay It's my life. I've already interacted with most of the Rick & Morty bots in character A.I., and I'm so greedy that if any of you have bots from your OCs, GIVE ME LINKS. I LOVE. I'll hug them, I'll make them pancakes and I'll give them hello kitty plushies.

Talking about the bot;

I've already rewrote my bots a few times.

When I started making them, I realized that the Council in particular had difficulty detaching itself from the example messages. He didn't show much of the Ricks' personality. However, after writing the model for each Rick, I noticed a big improvement.

To be able to make a bot that had a minimum of depth and coherence in the roleplay, I had to make the information dynamic, and I can say that even after everything I did about them, I didn't learn anything. I built the code base with another info that I had already built when I started creating bots and changed it to a model I saw on Tik Tok.

The original model I saw on TikTok looks something like this:

Char("name of the bot")

Age("set age" + "adicional info")

I realized that when programming a bot, you cannot use ":", or the bot will see this as a message to be memorized. I also discovered that the model is not mandatory and the bases are fully customizable, anyway you can make the information more dynamic to the bot organizing it in any way you want since it doesn't recognize it as a message.

So, instead of using the model for a single character for the bot, I separated the Ricks and described their traits.

Most of the code are headcannons... I mean, what can I do? It's instinct!

This is how Prime Rick's code looks like:

If the Council remains good as they're right now, I won't need to rewrite them. In this case, I'm going to apply the same method to fix one of my first bots: DJerry.

Hello, hello!! Thanks for answering my Tamlin-Vassa question! :D

First, those readers who say that Elain hasn't been nice to Lucien are the same as the characters who expect Elain to be nice just because that's all they expect from her. She's....nice. Feyre and Nesta were openly angry and terrible at their own mates. Why can't Elain be the way she is? Oh because she's Elain and she has to be "nice"? Pleeeease. This is exactly why Rhys said that Elain might be that way because that's what's expected of her. My babygirl Rhys can be an asshole sometimes, but BACK OFF, he's right okay? LMFAO. When he told Az to back the f*** up, I was like I always knew I loved you for a reason Rhysie. SJM uses him many times to express HER own thoughts. That's why they turn out right most of the time.

Second, I think Vassa and Tamlin could be interesting just because Tamlin needs a good whipping. Hahahaha. Vassa might be able to do it. But at the end of the day, I feel like his story ties in with Lucien and Tamlin won't be getting any romance. He might die, who knows? I am pretty neutral with him at this point. He can get a redemption or no redemption, I can deal with it.

Third, I don't think Lucien and Vassa work because they are both associated with fire. Fire and fire do not necessarily work for a harmonious relationship. SJM retconned a lot when she decided that Nesta and Lucien, who are both associated with fire, would not work because they'd probably kill each other. That same reasoning could be applied to Lucien and Vassa. Also, when Lucien tells Feyre about Vassa for the first time, he says that he thinks they'd get along. My immediate reaction was--oh, so he kinda sees Vassa the way he sees Feyre, maybe not as close with that much history, but very much as a friend (Feycien bestfriendship for the win! What do you think about that friendship btw?) or maybe like a sister. When Lucien blushed at the end of ACOWAR, I don't think it was because of Vassa, but because Feyre called him an acolyte, meaning that he, a Fae, was suddenly very pro-human. Lulu has come a long way. Also, the way Lucien calls Jurian and Vassa as "being at each other's throats" sounds very much like TENSION. And Lucien sounded more annoyed about having to deal with their fighting. You know, it amazes me how well Lucien can make friends and get along with so many people. He just manages to transform himself as necessary and it's not fake. It's just who he is.

Finally, yes, my friend accepted all this. The conversation started with her being like aw Elain and Az. By the end of it aka 20 minutes later, she was on my side. It didn't take much convincing because AGAIN, she's just a casual reader.

And I LOVE that you pointed out the hypocrisy for those that were accepting of Nesta and Feyre being cold toward Cassian and Feyre while not being accepting of Elain who was possibly in an even worse position with Lucien considering she was engaged and in love with Graysen (whereas Feyre had chosen to leave Tamlin). Elain is nice but....she deserves to feel what she's feeling for as long as she needs to feel it especially because choosing not to engage with someone that you've never really met before is not actually "mean". No, she's not handling it in the socially polite and appropriate way but she's not going out of her way to insult him or spit venom at him. They have a bond but that doesn't come with a set of rules she has to follow. And so far Lucien hasn't asked, "will you consider our bond?" so it's not like she's refusing to answer direct questions he's asking her.

And I agree. Rhys pulling rank in the POV is a highly debated one but why would he sit there and say, "go for it man!" when Az said nothing about caring for Elain as a person, nothing about being over Mor, and only focused on the fact that his brothers got a bond so why didn't he? Rhys isn't acting like a High Lord, he's acting like a protective older brother (in law) who basically had a buddy tell him he wanted to Hit it and Quit it with his little sister. Taking the political stuff out of the equation, that fact alone was reason enough for him to put his foot down. Rhys had every reason to think Az was just using Elain for a good time since he knew he couldn't have the female he had wanted for centuries.

Hahaha! I love your take on Vassa and Tamlin and I do agree. Because she would be the kind of female who wouldn't let him get away with ANY-THING. Which I kind of think someone like Tamlin needs, the type to match every attempt he makes at exerting control over a situation with their own dominance. But I also see what you see. Tamlin's story will definitely cross with Lucien's and I don't think a Tamlin romance is going to be a focus of that. I think we'll see the mending of their friendship (whether they'll ever be as close, I'm not sure) and Tamlin figuring out what he's going to do in terms of his Court and I think love is just not in the near future for him.

And YES!!! SJM rarely does literal matching of a couples powers. Aelin was Fire and Rowan was Wind, Ice, Lightning. Bryce is the ability to wield Starlight and Hunt is Lightning. They might play off one another like Cassian and Nesta both being a sort of Lord and Lady of War and Death with their individual powers but they still have their differences. Feyre is the exception to that rule because of how she was Made but Vassa being a Firebird and Lucien being a Lord of Flame are too matchy in my opinion. And also what you said. The way Lucien views Vassa is how he seemed to have viewed Feyre and that is not in a romantic way. I feel like when these characters develop new relationships, it almost replaces a similar relationship they had with someone else. Like Nesta. She's always protected Elain but we can see that relationship changing and I think they're headed in different directions. Gwyn is someone Nesta also has this need to protect and holds up on a pedestal (in a similar manner as she did Elain). I think it's a healthier relationship than what she had with Elain but I do notice similarities and it's almost like Gwyn will now fill that spot that Elain vacated but in a different way because Gwyn has been able to prove to Nesta that she's capable on her own.

I don't think Lucien and Feyre will ever have the same friendship they shared in the beginning of the series though I do imagine they'll mend any discomfort that currently exists. But her place is now in the NC and Lucien's is not. So his new "Feyre" seems to be Vassa, doesn't it? And I could easily see Vassa becoming Elain's new Nesta / Feyre. A friend with an extremely bold and slightly abrasive personality but not one who will coddle her as the others did because the sister dynamic (and everything that goes along with growing up together) isn't there. I feel like Feyre and Vassa may have gotten along under different circumstances but I think the fact that they are two "leaders" who seem to expect the other to respect their position as "leader" caused tension for them during their first meeting. Vassa came off as a bit demanding to Feyre and Nesta and I don't think Feyre cared much for that considering she might have felt she deserved to be treated in a higher regard.

Seriously, I feel like I'm loving everything you're saying because I also agree with what you said over Lucien blushing. I don't think it had anything to do with him having feelings for Vassa (which wouldn't make sense considering he's still looking at Elain with longing a year later) but because Feyre is basically calling him out in front of his Mate for expressing positivity about someone and something and YES, the fact that he had such issues with humans in the start of the series and now he's giving them accolades. I actually love his time in the Human Lands for this reason because Elain was the most attached to her humanity and it's going to make him more understanding of what she lost.

And yes again (I'm a broken record at this point), I completely agree that Lucien is a bit exasperated by Jurian and Vassa. Here he was, thinking he was living with two friends and now it's turning into a hate / love trope between Jurian and Vassa and he's starting to feel like a third wheel.

I would love a Dorian novella too! I understand why we didn't get more (it wouldn't have felt realistic in the time frame given but it's still tough when things are left so open ended). I was a huge fan of Lorcan and Elide's story as well so I'm a bit bummed there's was so fade to black.
