Angel Dust Turns Human - Pg2
Part 1
I'm so sorry about the quality, idk what size the canvas should be when it comes to comics, this is technically my 1st one☹️. I PRAY it doesn't look crappy on other people's end💔
Anyways, I had drawn these 2 pages (technically 4ish with how I spread them out) within 3-2 days bc I just rlly wanted the idea to get done already🤲 Sorry if the pacing wasn't that good when I introduced Alastor - again, I don't know how to convey that in 'comic form' (?) since this is my 1st, but I tried😔 (it probably needed more frames/pics but I was rlly lazy).
If you couldn't tell (☹️), Alastor & Angel Dust have some backstory (!!!) - Alastor didn't realize until he saw his human form, which looks very different from his Hell form. The majority of this is in Angel's pov, so this is kinda unreliable narrator, in a way. I need to mention, idk if anyone's written/drawn anything w a human in Hell, but my first thought was they'd definitely pass out from the heat usually portrayed - hence the heat exhaustion; Angel kinda passes out before he could fully react. Btw, I don't like how I drew Angel on pg6 so let's ignore it🙏
Also, Alastor pronounces his name as "Antoní", or An-tone-nee, with emphasis on the last sylabel, which is why it's spelled with an accented "i" - I just forgot to use that when I wrote the dialouge💔
My fav thing to draw was him holding Angel's face and carrying him, Parental Alastor fans RISE✊️!

GRIMACE SHAKE RECIPE
i am SICK and TIRED of all these recipes online that aren't even trying, like yes of Course it will be *tasty* but raspberries blueberries and vanilla ice cream will Not taste like The Grimace Shake it will taste like a Froot Smoothie
when i tried the mcdicks version, the two flavors that immediately stood out insanely clearly to me were:
creamsicle ... and berry cap'n crunch
i was 94% sure i was riight, but didn't have a chance to test that theory ... until today >:3
that's all for my yappin here's that recipe! ingredients:
berry cap'n crunch cereal (we didn't have the 'oops all berries' it had regular mixed in, i just picked out the berry ones). blend or crush as finely as you can!
orange creamsicles
additional vanilla ice cream
milk (as needed to thin mixture)
optional black raspberry ice cream (for additional fruitiness if desired, purple colour also!)
optional whipped cream (topping)
i've only tried this once and it tasted too strongly of the cereal so i used too much of that, and i don't have exact measurements(sorry, if i try again and get closer i'll keep track and update!), but this go i did the following:
put approx 1 cup of berry crunch in blender and mix to break apart
add 3 creamsicles (minus sticks), and milk as needed, blend together
optional taste test
add 2 large scoops of ice cream, vanilla or black raspberry, depending what you have and/or how fruity the current mixture tastes, blend (add more milk if needed)
pour into cups and add whipped cream on top :3
it made about~ two good sized cupfuls, we split it in three unevenly so i'm not 100% sure lol. if you let the ice cream/creamsicles melt enough to be mixable by hand and went to absolute town on the cereal you could probably make this without a blender!
anyway go be free summon grimace and ik they dont have these anymore but dont give those clowns any money

a near-electric spark courses through kazuha's fingers as he gently presses his palm, freed from its usual wraps, against the famed traveler's chest (stars and skies dangling at his fingertips as he does so). a gentle smile lightens up his features, creates crinkles at the corner of his eyes. how long has it been, since they'd last bid each other goodbye on the docks of inazuma? "i have missed this scent of burning stars..." the samurai mutters; crimson eyes rising up to meet molten amber, up close, so close their noses are practically touching. ah, how oft he had dreamt of this reunion; and not once in his wildest dreams, had it been as sweet as the real thing. "and i have missed you."
@apocryphis ㅤㅤ/ㅤㅤUNPROMPTEDㅤㅤ/ㅤㅤalways accepting!
ㅤㅤseasons change, time passes, and new scars are collected like trophies.
ㅤㅤsummer winds warmed ships’ sails, testing the resiliency of masts, captains and crew alike—so agitated some parts of the ocean got that it was easy to lose sight of fellow boats, shrouded by hills of hungry waves. the sky of scorching sun rays would quickly transform into thunderstorms as well, and much to the dismay of specialised navigators, the wind was either ferocious or lethargic, harder to predict this time of the year. on all accounts, it was ill-advised to travel to inazuma during such months; the trip was long and perilous and, therefore, more expensive. in short, not worthy to anyone. many sailors promised interested travellers at the docks that it was best to wait for the autumn breeze, it’d soon come about in a few weeks, provisions would be easier to administer, and many lurking dangers would be minimised. they even patted aether’s back, giggling at his eagerness. aether had time, they assured him. indeed, he had all the time in the world. perhaps even more.
ㅤㅤhe could’ve waited, it’s true. no matter how fleeting, there would be other autumns, winters, springs and summers. despite having written kazuha a letter telling him he’d be there on the next crescent moon, aether knew kazuha would understand if he was late. by a month, by a year, by a decade—only gods knew how gentle and forgiving that samurai could be. he could visit him another time, and tales foretold that the stars would compensate for his patient mind and spirit. there was no virtual reason for him to be in such a hurry. a whim was all that moved him. desire, passion, yearning, call it what you will—surely, it could be subdued with reason. but not this time. so instead of sitting and sulking, the caeling set sail by himself, leaving behind concerned shouts at liyue harbor. if there was one thing he had learned in all his fables, it was that, sometimes, you needed to pick up the pace. he’d apologise for taking one of pinghai’s boats later.
ㅤㅤwith scrapes on his cheek and arms from battles fought against sea monsters and lightning, unkempt hair and maresia glued to his lips, he docked his ship on ritou. he looked around as if looking for something (someone), until a smile was coerced from his stoic expression. he was really there. just like the last time. and the last. and the last. and the next. amongst the waving trees, loving crimson hues ran in his direction. aether dropped the ropes and whatever bags he held in his arms—and ran where the wind guided him.
ㅤㅤinside his chest, beat no heart. a burning star core was all there was to it—a pragmatic thing it was truly, akin to a battery to let others know that the caeling lived still. nothing as magical as a human heart or that precious little grin on the poet’s face. yet… when kazuha caressed there with curious fingertips, he almost felt like he could have one. he wondered if kazuha felt the same way when aether caressed his silver strands and calculated how much they had grown out since the last time they saw each other. he wanted to take in every fibre of his being and cherish them. he hoped his companion felt as alive—as intoxicated—when he dared to adventure his touch. but aether’s love was of the whispery kind, so he wouldn’t ask—he preferred to lean in, grazing the tips of their noses slowly, longingly. he wondered if he tasted as sweet as his voice. it’d have been so easy to brush their lips together, to dive in for a kiss, to sigh in relief while drinking from maple pits. but for this? for this, aether had time; plenty of time. for this, he could wait for autumn, or for winter, or for spring, or for the next summer. even if his claws and fangs itched, he had all the time in the world. for this. for him.
ㅤㅤ“hmmm, is that so…?” there was a throaty hum as the outlander breathed in the herbs on pearly hair before touching their foreheads together, followed by a loose grin of a voyager who seemed to have found a treasure worth detouring for. he thus wrapped a strand of the ronin’s hair on his gloved index right before kissing the tips as melting gold met reds. yes. he had all the time of the world. “then we should watch the beautiful moon together, kazuha.” but that didn’t mean he could tease him just a little bit.
