do you have any character analysis posts you're working on? i'm currently mulling Daya/Dia over in my head right now. In general, I'm thinking a lot about Kabru's team because they don't show up much in the manga and won't be in the show much longer as noticeable players, but have quite a bit of outside-the-manga content to comb through. Personally, I like the idea of Rin and Dia becoming friends with Marcille post-canon, but I want to know them better first. I know Rin pretty well already. 1/2
(for example, Rin/Dia/Marcille seem to like clothes, and i want to draw them clothes shopping.) And I ask this not to put all the work on you! I want to discuss these characters with somebody, and you're one of the only ones I can think of who enjoys doing in-depth dives into the side characters of Dungeon Meshi. You, summerboletes, shisurus, and ambrosiagourmet are some other blogs i can think of that made great meta posts. You can reply to this privately if you want! 2/2 (think about it. daya has a boyfriend and marries him post-canon. marcille loves romance and loves clothes. it'd be adorable if she helped daya find a wedding dress. like kabru introduces them and dia (god i'm so used to writing 'daya') mentions her wedding and marcille immediately pounces on her with eyes sparkling in excitement. i plan to write this fic one day)
This idea is so cute! I’ll also check out those other blogs you mentioned when I have the time to hehe~ I do latch onto minor characters easily but it doesn’t mean I have much to say about everyone. Dia (agreed btw, the situation with Daya vs Dia is confusing)… I do like her, but I feel like her Adventurer’s Bible profile sums it all up quite nicely and straightforwardly honestly. You’re right though her reaction to the treasure bugs was so cute and honestly surprising considering her appearance and demeanor, she does like pretty things and jewelry I could def see her going shopping. More content of her would definitely be fun, I’d read your fic!! I do love imagining how everyone’s relationships are like in Kabru’s party, the intricacies of it… I haven’t mulled it over enough though. I’ve been thinking of Mickbell more because of recent posts though, also Rin… If you’d like, the dunmeshi discord I’m in would be a good place to brainstorm about it I think! Hmu for an invite if you want
Summing up the posts I’m working on was long so here’s a cut out of mercy
I have 78 drafts on tumblr currently oh boy… The thing about my process is that I ramble easily but then I need to compile panels to illustrate the points and that’s real tedious… Character analysis wise - I’m most hyped about a Falin one on the topic of if she’s a people pleaser, how much does she care, what’s her way of thinking etc etc, also her differences with Laios because I hate seeing people seriously say they’re the same person. - Also a Cithis one that I just need to streamline at this point. I want to analyze her demeanor, poke at her psychology and analyze her relationships, she’s fascinating. - Oh I’m so stupid I almost forgot to mention the one I’ve been working on currently about Thistle, the age shenanigans but in an in-world way where yes it’s wonky and it means something. He hauntssss me I have so many thoughts on Thistle & Falin lately. Like, offtopic for the analysis but… Falin loves nature and Thistle is named after a flower… Imagine her post-canon coming across wild thistles and feeling a rush of fondness and she doesn’t know why… Thistles have thorns but they taste sweet… Peel of his thorns and eat him pls.
I have more Chilchuck & family thoughts coming, and more Toshiro & family, but these will have more of a casual brainstorm & speculating tone to them, I also just need to streamline these… Like I am obsessed about Toshiyuki and Chilchuck’s alcoholism I’m sorry
Beyond those the topics of the character analysis become more specific, like - How much social awareness does Laios have? Not none, not a lot, but the specifics can be blurry in ways I think are interesting, he was sensitive to people’s judgements in his hometown after all, and he does worry about others’ perception of him… He does know that buzzcut guy was taking advantage of him, etc etc. - There’s an extensive one I want to make on how the winged lion reflects abusive relationships, like how he targets all his ‘meals’'s specific weaknesses and draws out the worst in each of them. A lot of Dunmeshi is about unity and overcoming prejudices & differences & flaws and forming deep and long-lasting bonds despite it all, and amongst all of it it’s like… How flawed relationships with flawed people can still be made into somehing good and healthy that make the world brighter… Except the winged lion there to represent abusive relationships which you need to fucking DITCH, lol. - And on the topic of Dunmeshi & relationships I want to talk about it and queerness, especially in the queerplatonic sense of blurring lines, and Izutsumi + Laios’ relationship to touch should feature in those.
And my crown jewel but I’m soooo hyped about the Marcille & Chilchuck’s arcs one I’m working on it’s gonna go over so much stuff I’m obsessed about, like the importance of books in Marcille’s life, what the succubi reveal about the characters in what ways, the theme that’s so prevalent in Dunmeshi of idealization, Marcille’s imagery as a dungeon lord, a shepherd a general a princess a monster a damsel a woman in mourning…
But that’s enough for heavy ones, side characters wise: doing quick posts like for the gold-stripper characters has been great, but those usually come to me on the same day that I post them. I might make some analysis posts on say Mickbell or Holm or Otta, but I don’t have the thread I want to follow yet. Flamela’s been on my brain so much too…
Mostly though there’s just a lot that I wouldn’t write analysis for, but that I’d love to explore in fanfics! For example, the hienbeni I want to write the most rn is about the surges of anger that Benichidori gets, impulsive and stressed out. I haven’t made a post on my Izutsumi & Benichidori brotp and all the interesting parallels I think I have, but I’ve written a fic on it! Same about Chilchuck’s daughters and their relationship with his alcoholism, etc. I explored the guilt and confliction he may feel about his wife in my fic Enough as well, etc etc. You can see my fics here! For Kabru’s party lately mickrin has been having a chokehold on my brain, I’d love love love to explore Rin’s and Mickbell’s characters and issues through fics for them. As I think you might have figured, I love to explore characters through the lenses of relationships they have with others (Cithis & Mithrun and Pattadol, Thistle and Falin, etc), and that’s why for example I love to make posts that pitch ship ideas, I think specific dynamics can really have a lot to say about either characters. Oh another one’s toshimari, I want to make a fic about them and their feelings of being foreigners and not being able to integrate well to The Island, through the plot of them going to a restaurant as coworkers and the food they eat there~
These are only the ones I have at the top of my head though………. Someone help me Hopefully this post wasn’t boring lol, but yeah those are my wips rn. Need to make posts on toshimari, kabushuro, cithaios, cittadela and ships like that I think have interesting potential too. Many of these I’ve mentioned here I’ve had in my drafts for like 6 months btw gdvd 😭

“Two bros, chilling in a small bed…” for dayasco in the highschool au mayhaps? 👀
omg lina you have such a big brain this is perfect !! dayasco highschool au coming right up!
"Two bros, chilling in a small bed..."
"Alright I'm getting this one upstairs." Daya chuckled, getting up off the floor of her basement and going over to a giggling Bosco. It was the last weekend of summer technically and everyone piled into Dayas basement to have a good time with some cheap liquor she got her sister to smuggle for them.
"Good, she looks like she's going to barf." Willow giggled, cheeks rosy as she drank from her own cup. Camden and Kerri were giggling with each other, swaying together with smiles on their faces.
Jasmine pouted as she watched her girlfriend get up. "Make it quick baby!" She blew her a small kiss before going back to whatever gave she was playing with Jorgeous.
"I promise, baby." She chuckled and helped Bosco up off the ground, walking with her up the stairs. Her friend leaned against her heavily as she giggled. "Jeez, Sco. You really had fun tonight."
"Just a little." She giggled, head resting on Dayas shoulder. "You're too good to me."
"Well I can't have you vomit on my carpet downstairs." She chuckled and shifted to carry as they made it to the second flight of stairs. "Come on, piggy back ride."
"Just like we used to." She giggled and laid against Dayas back, cuddling into her as they climbed the stairs. "You were always so comfy and good to me."
"Well duh," Daya smiled. "You're my best friend, dummy." She remembered all of their times as a kid playing in their backyards and their sleepovers.
They shared so much with each other and it always felt right whenever they were side by side. Of course things changed a little when Daya met Jasmine and fell absolutely head over heels for her. It took a little time to get over all of the feelings having a new person added to the group rose up but Jasmine was a wonderful addition and if it made Daya happy, Bosco could live with it.
"Alright, final station for the Daya express." She smiled and laid Bosco down on her bed. She giggled and cuddled into Dayas pillow. "Smells like you."
"It's my bed, dingus." She chuckled before pulling a bin close to the bed. "You better not puke on my sheets or you're never coming over here again."
"Oh come on, you'd never get rid of me." Bosco hiccupped and grabbed Dayas wrist, pulling her down to the bed with her. "Now look at us. Two bros, chilling in a small bed.." She giggled and Daya rolled her eyes.
"Yeah nice try, demon queen. You get some sleep okay?"
"I will. Love you, Di."
"Love you too, Bos." She smiled at her friend but as she went to get out of bed Boscos hand came up and cupped her cheek. "You need something B-" She was cut off by a sloppy kiss being placed on her lips. It took her a minute to react but her eyes widened when she realized her best friend was kissing her. She could taste the cheap beer on her breath and smelled the sweet shampoo she'd always use.
The kiss ended as quickly as it started, pulling Daya back to reality as Bosco flopped back onto the pillow. "Nigh." She slurred before starting to snore, leaving an awestruck Daya sitting in her bedroom with her eyes wide and her face flushed.
Bosco kissed her.
Bosco kissed her.
Jasmine. Her girlfriend. "Fuck." She whispered and left her room quickly, looking back over her shoulder. Bosco was still snoring on her pillow, cuddling into Dayas blanket. She made it downstairs and stopped at the bottom, feeling her heart beat a million miles a minute.
Her best friend just kissed her. Maybe it was all a drunken mistake or maybe Bosco just lost her marbles. But either way the big problem was that even if she didn't mean to kiss her, Daya wanted her to kiss her and that made her stomach flip. She touched her lips gently, still feeling Boscos against hers and smiled softly.
"Baby? You coming?"
She shook her head. No, she couldn't be thinking about that right now. She had her girlfriend waiting for her downstairs. "I'm on my way, babe!" She went back downstairs to the basement and sat next to Jasmine, smiling as the girl cuddled against her and pecked her lips. She hated how she wished it was Bosco she was kissing.

It’s the babiest Crygi yet, teacher au Crygi but their friendship is still pretty new. Walking home from the bar after a night out, Crystal finds out that Gigi does not like to walk when she drinks.
“Of course you live on the top floor.” Gigi whines, standing at the bottom of the fifth flight of stairs. Crystal, already halfway up the flight, stops where she is and stares down at her newest friend. The ginger is leaning heavily against the railing, eyes half-shut and posture gradually failing. She balances on some precariously high heels that Crystal isn’t sure how she managed to walk the few blocks to her apartment in, huffing.
“I didn’t choose for the elevator to break down today, Geege. We could’ve gone to yours…”
“Nope. You know I want my deadweight roommate evicted, I can’t let her meet you. She’s tried to be me for far too long. You’ll charm the pants right off of her and I can’t have that-you’re  mine, not hers.”
Crystal’s stomach flips at the possessive, and it takes her a minute to regain her own awareness. It’s the liquor finally hitting them both, she decides, and Gigi had tried too hard to keep up with the girls to be completely cohesive. Besides, she’d spent the entire night on her arm making sure that everyone knew Crystal, the best person I’ve ever met, my best friend, which let her know where she really stood.
Not that she wants anything else to happen. Gigi’s just someone she wants around all the time, someone she’s become an and with very quickly. That doesn’t mean anything. She could be considered an and with Daya, although that’s a very clearly drawn sisterhood.
She’d met Gigi, a stunningly beautiful fashion design major, in a college art history course where they’d sat together for two weeks. Crystal had thought she’d be a bitch. Gigi overwhelmed her with compliments on her pattern mixing and her hair and they’d been instant friends. Gigi had been a good study buddy-silly, yet wanting nothing more than to do well. They’d exchanged numbers and had gotten lunch together a few times a week. Then one morning Gigi had texted her in perfectly simple terms;
Just dropped out-am going to take an internship instead. I can do so much more there than in a classroom where they’re teaching us how to thread a machine.
That’s when Crystal learned about her determination.
They get to see each other a bit less now, Gigi’s internship and Crystal’s coursework causing a clash in schedules, but even without Gigi with her in class their friendship has only grown. Gigi still helps Crystal study. Crystal brings coffee to the studio when she’s having a rough day. They have sleepovers every Friday night at least, if not more.
Gigi holds her hand (and only her hand. Don’t touch me is a big part of her vocabulary, but never for Crystal.). Gigi sits next to her and leaves no room between them. Gigi has introduced her to every single one of her friends as her best friend. It all leaves Crystal a little breathless. It leaves the lines feeling a bit blurred.
“Crys,” Gigi refuses to move, pouting. “I can’t do it, I just can’t. There’s so many stairs and there’s only one of me. How do you expect me to make it?”
“One foot in front of the other!”
           “Please can you carry me?”
Crystal narrows her eyes but makes her way down the staircase anyway, shaking her head. She’d chosen a sensible pair of platform boots for the night, a much sturdier option than the red-bottomed heels Gigi’s mother had gifted her after selling her first commissioned gown. She’d been so proud to wear them that there was no negotiation, even now.
When she makes it to the landing Gigi spins her around, wrapping her arms around her and jumping onto her back. Crystal only falters slightly, stumbling and repositioning her hands on Gigi’s thighs to get a better grip. Once she’s adjusted, she stands at the bottom of the staircase and readies herself. From behind her Gigi sighs thankfully, dropping her head into the crook of Crystal’s neck.
           “That’s a lot of stairs.”
“You’re lucky I love you. If I didn’t you’d be taking those shoes off and walking the rest of the way.”
“I can’t take these off, ever. My mom got them for me! I miss her. Can we call her tonight?”
“Maybe tomorrow would be a better idea. It’s late; I promise we can call her in the morning, maybe after we’ve both slept everything off.”
“Will you do it with me? My mom loves you, she asks about you a lot. I talk about you a lot, though, so don’t let it get to your head.”
“Well, your mom is my favorite Goode.”
           “Take that back!”
“Or what” You’ll walk home?” Crystal snickers. Gigi jolts her thigh with the side of her foot gently.
           “Hey!”
Crystal can only laugh harder, which in turn makes for a bumpy ride up the last two flights of stairs for Gigi. She even has to stop once, when she can’t catch her breath over Gigi’s petulant mumbling over why she should be Crystal’s favorite. The ginger slips off of her back and Crystal catches her just in time for them both to plop safely onto the landing of the ninth floor, staring at each other with wide, shell-shocked eyes before dissolving into a fit of laughter. The air between them is dizzying and warm, and for a moment they sit tangled in each other, comfortable and light. Gigi leans further into Crystal, their bodies pressed together from head to toe, and the older girl is suddenly shocked awake. She pats her hand on the ground, shifting away from Gigi and holding out her hands.
“Come on, we only have one more flight to go. You still want me to carry you?”
Gigi, flustered and wine-fogged, slides onto Crystal’s back without saying another word.
When they finally make it to Crystal’s apartment Gigi finally takes off the shoes, shuffling over to the pantry and sliding them onto the floor before shutting the door behind her. When she turns, Crystal is standing behind her with a raised eyebrow and a smirk on her face.
           “What?”
“The pantry?”
“I’m not the one who decided to get a kitten. You know I love Tic Tac but can I really trust that cat with a new pair of shoes?”
“Did you hear that? She doesn’t trust you.”
“Don’t listen to her, you’re my favorite Methyd.” Gigi scoops up the kitten while Crystal watches, jaw dropped. She moves through the apartment with ease, carrying Tic Tac to the bathroom while Crystal pours them two glasses of water and turns off the lights, leaving them on the nightstands. She can hear Gigi’s baby talk from the bathroom as she changes, Tic Tac no doubt sitting dutifully on the counter while her best friend takes off her makeup and brushes her teeth. She emerges from the bathroom with the tiny kitten still cradled in her arms. She’s dressed in one of Crystal’s old t-shirts, baggy and short, with her hair in wild flames down her back. She climbs into her side of the bed.
“Drink that water,” Crystal orders. As she makes her way to the bathroom for her turn she can hear Gigi’s sleepy, silly voice mutter sarcastic yes ma’am.
When she returns, the glass is half-full and Gigi’s almost already asleep.
She turns off the last of the lights, snuggling into the slightly chilled blankets. Gigi immediately rolls over onto her side to face her, cheeks flushed and eyelids just beginning to droop.
“Thank you for climbing all those stairs for me. I adore you, Crystal Methyd. I’m really glad we met.”
“Me too.” It’s all she can manage to get out, and suddenly she’s wishing she’d had that one last shot before they’d left. Although sleepovers have become a common occurrence for them, she certainly feels a bit too lucid for this. Gigi shifts to close the distance between them, tangling their legs and resting her head on Crystal’s chest. She’s asleep before the older girl can remember how to breathe, Tic Tac purring happily between them. The kitten looks up at Crystal almost intuitively and she rolls her eyes.
“That’s enough out of you.” She scolds.
She falls asleep with her head on top of Gigi’s and her heart hammering in her chest,  a new mantra volleying with Gigi’s sleepy words.
I adore you, Crystal Methyd.
It’s nothing, we’re just friends.

Birthday prompt for pirate au? Jasmine finds a cool trinket at the bottom of the ocean and gives it as a gift - not knowing it's the captains actual birthday.
bringing back the pirate au just in time for bosco's birthday! hope you enjoy it! 💕
the photo reference of jasmine's gift
--
"Can we go back now?"
Jasmine dismissed her sister's annoyed voice as she tried to reach a shiny thing stuck between two rocks inside a shipwreck they had stumbled upon their daily swim.
"You're so eager to go back to Angie, uh?" she teased the redhead, "I almost got... it..."
Camden's cheeks took a reddish tint, almost matching her hair as she crossed her arms over her bare chest, "She just wanted to show me a new book she got!"
"Is that a new code for you wanting to spend the night in her bed?" Jasmine lunged forward, finally capturing the shiny object.
Now that she could take a better look at it, she noticed it was in surprisingly good condition, "This ship must have gone down recently," she noted as she toyed with the necklace.
It was a delicate golden chain with a round pendant - what had caught Jasmine's attention. It had an engraving on it she remembered seeing in some of Bosco's books,
"Well, now we know what were those sharks feasting on," Camden chimed in, "Happy?"
Jasmine grinned, showing off the necklace to her older sister, "Very much!"
They made their way back, the younger mermaid couldn't help herself from teasing the redhead as they swam.
The sun was starting to set as they saw the familiar ship on the horizon, Jasmine fought the urge to swim faster. She was dying to see the captain's reaction to her gift.
She had noticed the crew avoiding them the previous day, Daya certainly acted the most suspicious in the mermaid's eyes, hiding something bundled in some rags.
But she still couldn't pinpoint just what was going on, maybe it was a human thing?
Deja was the first one to greet them as they reached the ship, scolding them for being almost missing dinner.
"Camden! Angie was looking for you, she's in her study," the seamstress announced before turning to Jasmine, "You behave, the captain is in their room"
The younger mermaid smiled sheepishly as she took some clothed from the older woman and putting them on before bolting across the deck to her destination.
She was almost to the door when she came to an abrupt stop as she bumped into a wall.
Or rather, Daya.
"Watch where you go, fish," the tall woman rolled her eyes as she clutched the same bundle Jasmine has seen her with the previous day.
"It's not my fault you're so rigid you can be mistaken for a plank of wood," she barked back, her eyes taking a better look at what Daya was holding, "What's that?"
"N-Nothing," she tried to brush it off, but her nervousness ticked Jasmine off, "Just something for Bosco"
"You too? I got her something too!" she showed off the necklace with a proud smile.
"Oh," Daya's face faltered, "That's nice, I guess"
"What's going on here?"
Both women turned to the side to see Bosco standing right next to them, having come outside to check what all the noise was about.
"Look!" Jasmine said excitedly, "I got this for you!"
"Oh, you remembered my birthday?" Bosco was pleasantly surprised, a soft smile appearing on their face as they took the precious gift from Jasmine's hands. They leaned forward to kiss the corner of her lips in appreciation.
"It's your birthday?" the mermaid asked, visibly confused.
The captain tilted their head, "Isn't that why you gave me this gift?"
"Oh.... oh, no! I mean, I didn't know, but well, it still works, I guess? I just wanted to give you something"
She turned to Daya, "You got them a present too!"
The tall woman refused to meet Bosco's eyes.
"Daya?"
"It's... nothing special, certainly it doesn't compare to that stupid necklace," she huffed, sounding defeated.
"Well, I am selfish and it's a present for me, so I still want to see it," they joked, placing their hand on Daya's shoulder to encourage her.
The brunette reluctantly opened the bundle of fabric, revealing two small yet detailed wooden statues of a cat.
"Uh, Orion offered me help with these since she likes to make those weird puppets, they turned out awful despite everything and I-"
Her rambling was cut off by Bosco's lips on hers, nothing more than a peck, but it spoke a thousand words.
"Thank you, they are perfect," they replied before turning to Jasmine, "And thank you too, I'm really grateful for both of your gifts," they continued before adding with a smile, "Just one thing"
"What is it?"
"If you have to argue, don't do it in front of my cabin when I'm sleeping, or I'm throwing both of you overboard... again"

Jasyasco Pt1 - Date
When Bosco first introduced Jasmine and Daya, she didn’t expect that they would end up fully disliking each other. They were only civil when she was there, but other than that, they either bickered and fought, or ignored each other. She didn’t mind it so much, they both knew she was polyamorous, and they never argued about her dating the other. Despite that, she never, in a hundred years, would have expected this question.
“You wanna go on a date with me and Jas?” “Yeah, why not?” “Babe, I love you, and I love Jasmine, really. But you two... are very...” “Not into each other? Just because we bicker doesn’t mean she doesn’t have personality. After all, we’re dating the same woman, so we both have immaculate taste. And she’s hot” Daya says with a shrug, making Bosco roll her eyes. “Fine, I’ll ask her” “Oh I already did. We planned everything. She’s coming over later with a bottle of wine and we’re gonna order takeout, since the three of us should not be trusted to cook” Daya says, making Bosco raise a brow in suspicion. “You, Daya Betty, my girlfriend, asked my other girlfriend whom you bicker with on a date. For the three of us, here?” “Yes” Daya says deadpan, and Bosco is confused by how casual Daya is about it. “Okay, sure I guess”.
When Jasmine arrived, she had two bottles of wine, which made Daya happy. “You plan a date with my girlfriend and I only get told at the last minute?” “It was spontaneous. Daya actually texted me at 2 am” “And you just agreed?” “She said she’d buy McDonald’s” Jasmine shrugs, heading to the kitchen to place the wine bottles there. “Do either of you realize how weird this is? Or is it just me?” “What is?” Daya asks as Jasmine comes back to the living room. “You two dislike each other, and now the three of us are gonna have a McDonald’s and wine date?” Bosco questions, and her two girlfriends nod. “Yeah. The three of us like wine and McDonald’s. Daya and I have great taste in women, since we’re dating you, and we’re also both hot, so it works” Jasmine says, Daya nodding along. “And what happens when you two end up fighting?” Bosco asks, and it’s quiet for a moment, Bosco raising her brows. “Uh… threesome?” Daya suggests, to which Jasmine agrees to, and Bosco just sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose. Of course Daya’s solution to most problems was sex, and of course Jasmine would agree. She could see how they’d work together. “Fine, just order the chicken nugget happy meals. Girl toys obviously” Bosco says, already knowing their orders.
There was no tension between Jasmine and Daya throughout the date. They even sat right next to each other, watching Teletubbies intently. It freaked Bosco out completely, but she couldn’t say it didn’t make her somewhat happy. Her girlfriends weren’t bickering for the first time, they were acting like longtime friends. It was weird, but it made Bosco smile.
Until they weren’t.
“What do you mean Laa-Laa is your favorite? You’re trans, your favorite color should be purple. Tinky-Winky is top tier” “Laa-Laa is cuter and she reminds me of myself” “Shouldn’t it be Dipsy, since you’re ditzy?” “That was the worst read I have ever heard” Jasmine scoffs, she and Daya eyeing each other down. “Are you really going to fight over which teletubby character is better?” Bosco asks with a tired sigh “Yes!” the two answer, but suddenly, Daya smiles.
“We can resolve this by fucking!” “No” “Yes” Jasmine says, while Bosco raises a brow at them. “How did I manage to date the two horniest bimbos out there?” “You have a type” Daya shrugs, she and Jasmine heading to the bedroom. “Come on!” Jasmine smiles at Bosco, who just sighs then chuckles to herself, following them to the bedroom.

goodesco + “are we locked in here?”
i'm so sorry these are so late!! they keep turning into around 1k word oneshots oops <3 hope that makes up for it!!
“Are we locked in here?” Bosco says, trying the handle again. It doesn’t budge.
“Apparently,” Gigi replies, sliding down the wall to sit on the floor, exasperated. She was having a rough day already, and now she’s stuck in a room with Bosco—not that she didn’t like Bosco or anything, it was quite the opposite. Bosco was tall and intimidatingly pretty with a quick wit and contagious laugh. Bosco was a wheezing laugh and long legs and pointed brows.
She's not prepared to be stuck in a room alone with them. Not today, not tomorrow, and probably not ever, at this rate. It doesn't help that the only thing going through her head is Oh God, I’m nervous to talk to her.
Bosco turns around, coming to sit next to her against the wall. She pulls out her phone, seemingly shooting off a text or two, then puts it down. “Okay, well, it looks like we’ll be in here a while, then. Hi, I’m Bosco,” she introduces.
“I know,” Gigi replies, before she can even stop herself. She cringes and hurries to correct herself, “I mean, I’ve seen you around! Sorry, that sounded weird.”
Bosco laughs. It’s a contagious sound, and Gigi finds herself giggling along with her, even if she’s laughing at herself. “I’ve definitely seen you around, but I never caught your name. What’s your name, baby?”
Gigi feels her stomach flip at the pet name, and she replies, “Gigi. Gigi Goode.”
“Pretty,” Bosco says, simply, “I like it.”
Gigi takes a moment to consider. Should I…?
“Thanks! Picked it out myself,” she grins, and it’s worth it for the way Bosco barks out a laugh. Bosco leans in every time they laugh, and Gigi decides that she wants nothing more than to make them laugh as much as possible for however long she has their attention.
“So did I! I don’t think you actually thought I was given the name Bosco, though,” they agree, a matching grin on their face.
“Maybe not. I like it, though.” She decides right then that she likes their smile just as much as she likes their laugh. It’s excited but there’s also something a bit shy about it, and it lights up her face beautifully.
Getting locked in a room with Bosco was doing nothing to help her get over her crush on the other girl.
“So, Gigi Goode,” Bosco starts, “tell me about yourself. Give me all the juicy details.”
“Um… I’m 24? And I live with my friend Crystal in an apartment a few blocks away. Oh god, what’s a juicy detail? I like horror movies but I always get scared?”
Bosco nods. She looks genuinely interested, but she’s worried that she’s going to bore her, so she tries to find a way to end her monologue gracefully. “And I do wigs and stuff. Like, for drag queens, mostly, but sometimes not.”
She winces. So much for an eloquent ending.
“What kind of horror movies? My favorite is Hellraiser, probably.”
“Nightmare on Elm Street. My last roommate’s dog was named Nancy after her, and I always called her Nancy Thompson when I'm mad at her, like when she pushed a jewelry box I bought for Crystal to the ground when I put it on a chair and it broke.” She stops for a second, coming back from her memory and blushing at her sudden inability to keep her mouth shut. “Sorry, that's super boring.”
“Don't apologize, it's cute,” she says, and Gigi's stomach swoops at the words, but she's not done. “Wait, you said Crystal… is there a chance that it’s Crystal Methyd?”
“Yeah, that’s right. How do you know Crystal?”
Bosco grins again, and if Gigi wasn’t so interested in how she knew her roommate she would’ve let herself soak up the moment. Maybe another time.
“That’s Daya’s half sister! My best friend, Daya Betty—”
“Oh my god, you know Daya?” she cuts her off, the joy of finding a shared connection making her lips pull up into a wide smile. Bosco’s echoing grin does nothing for the butterflies in her stomach.
“Yeah, she’s my best friend! I bully her all the time, I love her to pieces.”
So even after they got out of here, they might have a chance to talk to each other again. Gigi makes a note to ask Daya if she’s throwing a party soon—she suddenly feels like she shouldn’t have missed the last few.
“I love Daya! I’ve been around her a lot because of Crystal, and I’ve been to a few of her parties, which are always fun.”
Bosco perks up even more somehow. “You have? Which ones? I’ve been going a lot more recently, I’ve was super busy before but I quit one of my jobs so now I—”
She’s cut off by a knock at the door.
“You guys still in there?” A voice sounds through the door, and Bosco snaps up, hoisting herself to her feet and stepping closer to the door to reply.
“Yeah. You think you can bust us out?” Gigi doesn’t know the voice on the other side of the door. She curses it for being here to get them out, even if she knew it would happen eventually.
There’s sounds of a key being turned in the lock, and then the door opens to a person that Gigi thinks she’s seen around before, but she’s not sure. “Okay, here. Hi, Bosco, you’re out now and I gotta go. Jorgeous is waiting on me,” she says, bouncing on the balls of her feet, and then she’s off before either of them can say anything else. Bosco snorts, looking amused, and turns to Gigi.
“That was Jasmine. She’s just like that,” they explain, and Gigi nods.
“She has a lot of energy,” Gigi says, getting to her feet. She joins Bosco at the door, and she sighs to herself when she realizes that they’re poised to go the other way.
The moment was over. Her chance with Bosco? Gone.
“Maybe I’ll see you around sometime?” Bosco asks, and Gigi nods. See knows it’s dumb, but she’s sad to be let out of the room. What were the odds that one fifteen minute conversation would actually get her anywhere with Bosco? They’d probably just wave at each other every once in a while and call it a day.
“Yeah! I’d like that,” she says, choking down all of the other things she’d rather say.
“I wish we were still stuck in the room, just so we could keep talking to each other.”
“I’ve wanted to talk to you for months and I wish I talked better so you would want to keep talking to me.”
“I want to go on a date with you because I love your smile and think you’re funny.”
“I don’t want to be just some person you pass in the halls.”
“I’d like that,” Gigi says again.
“Okay, well, I’ll see you on Monday, I guess,” Bosco takes a few steps backwards, and Gigi hopes that she’s not showing her disappointment on her face.
“Yeah! Yeah, uh, see you Monday!” Her laugh sounds forced, but she can’t take it back now. She turns and walks down the hall, towards the stairs. She just has to go to her car and then she can go home and curl up on her bed and mope about everything—
“Wait, Gigi!”
She looks back, and Bosco’s taking long strides to catch up to her. “Would you… could we talk more sometime? We could go grab coffee, or something. Like a date.” Bosco looks sheepish, and Gigi melts at the expression. Gone was the smooth talking, confident Bosco that intimidated her, instead leaving a shy grin and fidgeting hands.
Gigi liked this version of Bosco, too. Gigi can feel her smile splitting her face, but she doesn’t care, too elated to worry about how she might look.
“If you’re free now…?” Gigi asks, and Bosco’s grin gets wider.
“Yeah! Yes.” Bosco nods emphatically. It makes her look like a bobblehead. It’s cute.
“It’s a date, then. Come on, let’s walk—I know a cute place a block or two away,” Gigi says, and Bosco falls into step beside her. She can’t keep the smile off her face, but she can see Bosco grinning triumphantly out of the corner of her eye, so she does nothing to stifle it.
They’re on the same page.

hi hi would love to see 💥🏥🎭 for the jasco espionage au!!
Babes I am just in such an espionage type of mood right now so it's time for espionage au!
💥 First Fight/Making Up HC
Their first series of fights is probably the two of them still getting acclimated to working together rather than against each other. Like Bosco and Jasmine are still thinking in ultra-competitive mode, thinking that if the other is doing well, they're losing, even though that's no longer the case. So it takes a while to get them both on the same team. Part of the difficulty there is that it means admitting that they're fully isolated from their old lives now, that no one besides each other has an idea of who they were before they were *dead to the world* and assumed these fake identities (procured by Daya, who decided that these two were going to be married on their fake ID cards, for funsies and because she doesn't really want to work on Bosco's big revenge plot either, but if she's going to, she's gonna stage her own revenge plot within a revenge plot). Eventually they realize that they're all they have left and give into working with each other, but it takes a lot of practice to withhold their sabotages.
🏥 Taking Care of Injuries HC
During a later mission, Jasmine ends up tied up, bound to a chair, unable to fight for herself, all while the man who's supposed to be their target is holding a knife to her neck. And while Bosco, who when working for their old agency, was know for covering their own ass at any cost, literally leaving other agents behind to die, they just can't do the same to Jasmine. They end up rushing in, getting stabbed in the arm themself, and just barely undoing the zip ties holding Jasmine to the chair in time for the two of them to be able to fight off the remaining guards and get out of there before anyone else knows that they've killed the target. And when they're flooring it on the way back to their home base—a crappy little co-oped apartment in a boarded up building—Jasmine's freaking out and trying to stop up all the blood that Bosco's losing and Bosco, laying in Jasmine's lap in the backseat of the car, is trying to reassure Jasmine that they're going to be totally okay.
🎭 Jealous HC
When Jasmine's seducing their targets, doing her whole "sexy lady" bit, perching herself in their laps, feeding them expensive (and laced champagne), laughing and throwing her head back at everything they say, Bosco can hear what Jasmine's doing through their earpiece and can barely focus on cracking into this safe to grab the dossier they need for the next part of the mission. Bosco's mumbling to themself about Jasmine being a little too close to this creepy old dude and how bullshit it is that *that* is considered spying. They're working with so much speed and agility to get the dossier so that Jasmine can stop acting like the sexy little distraction she is. After the mission, Daya comments that that was the fastest Bosco had ever cracked a safe and Bosco shrugs, looking at Jasmine as she fixes her dress and is like "yeah...I'm just really good at my job." (Daya doesn't believe that for an instant and uses Bosco's jealousy to shave down their time and get through tight time crunches during missions by narrating all the things Daya sees Jasmine doing with these people she's seducing, goading Bosco on).

Emotions are revealed
~Angst Warning~
"Hey Daya," you wave walking into her home.
"Hey Y/n," she smiles and comes over to hug you.
You hug her back and take in the moment. You loved her, you had loved her since you and she was little. You always wanted to have her heart, but you never could, but today, today was the day you were going to tell her. You had to, if you didn't do it today, you knew that you never would.
"So when we were on the phone you said that you needed to tell me something?"
She takes your hand and walks you to the couch to relax.
"Well, I have something I need to tell you, it's something that I should have been told you, but I never had the courage before, but Daya, I love you-"
"Awwee Y/nnn, I love you too," she smiles and wraps her arms around you.
"You do?" you smile, as she laughs.
"I have always loved you Y/n,"
You look at her and smile, her lips look so kissable. You wanted to kiss her, but you still wanted her consent to kiss her. You try and make it obvious without asking her, but she doesn't get it.
"Daya, can I kiss you?"
"Um, kiss me?" she asks shocked.
"Yeah, you said you loved me too and I just wanted to know if I could kiss you?" You smile.
Oh no, that look. That face was not a face of a girl who wanted to be kissed. Why did she look like that? She said that she loved you.
She did mean it didn't she?
"Oh, you meant more than friends?" she says breaking the silence.
"Yeah, of course, did you, oh you thought I meant as friends,"
You stand up from the couch and you start to head towards the door.
"Wait, please, come back so we can talk about this," she pleads.
You stop as your hand grabs the knob and you think, 'maybe I can talk to her about this and just see if maybe she feels the same.'
"Okay, I'll try, I'm just confused right now,"
You take a set on the couch but not as close as you were.
"Y/n please just tell me what you meant when you said that you loved me,"
"Daya, I have loved you since we were little, you are my best friend. Whenever a guy broke your heart, you always came to me, and I always thought that maybe, maybe one day you could give your heart to me. You kissed me once and told me you loved me but ever since then you had been distancing yourself from me. Not long after you dated a girl when you had never told me that you were interested in girls. Remember when we were able to tell each other everything? I just wanted a chance to have your heart. Why? Because I would love to spoil you in every way, I would never leave you, I would be there for anything you need. I just want you to trust me and my intentions. I love you Daya and I just want a chance to show you," you tell her.
Maybe after confessing your feelings, she would give you a chance. Maybe just maybe.
"Oh well I never knew you felt like that, Y/n, I knew you loved me, but not like that. I did have feelings for you, or at least I think that I did. But you never showed interest in me before, so I pushed all my feelings for you away. It also didn't help that my parents didn't want me to be with a girl. I was confused, Y/n and all I needed was space,"
"Well, if you needed space why didn't you tell me? Why make me feel this way Daya? And as far as I am concerned, I always showed interest in you. I would always flirt with you; I was always doing things for you. I even told you that I liked you once, but you didn't do anything except walk off. After that I just stopped trying,"
"I didn't tell you I needed space because I thought it might hurt your feelings, and the last thing I wanted to do was hurt you. If I knew I was hurting you by the way I was acting then I never would have done it,"
"It hurt me more than you know, you just straight up ghosted me for 3 months and then popped up with a new girlfriend that I had never even heard about. I had nights I would call your phone and your phone didn't do anything except ring, I would just lay there and think about how much I missed you and needed you back in my life,"
"I'm sorry Y/n for making you feel that way, just please don't leave me ever. I need you in my life," she cries softly.
Your instincts make you scoot closer to her and pull her into you. You did love her, as much as you hated it, she wouldn't ever give you the chance to be with her.
"I won't leave you Daya,"
You and she sit there in silence before you break it.
"So, would you let me take you out on a date this Saturday?" You ask, eyes full of hope.
"Sorry Y/n, that's what I called you over here to tell you, I'm actually dating Tom Holland,"
Your heart shatters into a million pieces, she would never give you the chance. Maybe it's time you stop fighting for her heart, at the rate you are going you will never have the chance to show her how much she means to you.
"Oh, well that's okay, I wish you the best of luck,"
Tears start briming your eyes, as you get up and make your way to the door.
"Y/n come back please, we can work something out!" she calls.
You didn't stop, you grabbed the knob of the door and yanked it open. There he stood, him in all his glory, Tom Holland. The man who was dating the love of your life.
"Zendaya just told me that you and she were going out. I just want you to love her and treat her with respect," you say walking out the house.
You walk to your car and get in. You lock the door. after letting your tears free fall, you let out the most gut-wrenching scream. After your wipe your eyes, you see Zendaya running outside.
"Y/n please, I can't lose you!" you hear her scream.
You look at her and pull off, you knew you could never have her. It just took you to really confess your feelings to realize that she loves the shit that you do for her, but she will never love you the way that you love her. So, it's time you let her go.

Pokemon Scarlet Liveblog! Part 4
We left off at "running around in a field"
ftr we are at caught 78, battled 103
they really did bring back headbutting trees tho. i am trying SO HARD to find another Toedcool, mgiht need to give up.
is Saul the waiter....hitting on me? sir im twelve.
anyway, Cowch the Mareanie. This Magikarp knows tackle??? Marrgh. Wow they nerfed Magikarp, dex says it never jumps more than seven feet. Come on, dex, that was all Magikarp had! !!! ACTUAL DOLPHINS??? FINIZEN! Oh I think I see a Mareanie terrorizing a Shellder under the waves in the bg but. DOLPHIN. name of Dip.
Jupe is evolving....they haven't done an evolving Pikaclone in six generations.....also Jupe is just kind of. Mostly underwater? Buddy u ok is this the best place to do this? welp, Pawmo. Oh, found a Crabrawler, you can be Monch. Chomper is evolving! ...Into Grafaiai? Did...did my mouse just turn into a monkey? Swapping her out for Pebbles. Anyway here's slowpoke, you will be Ruffle. I could use more balls... Ooh, Wattrel. Leep. Shellos? Bungee. AAA SANDYGAST. You're Pierrot!
I think Jupe my be my second permanent party member I'm loving this dude.
has a picnic and washes all my pokemon right outside the base....is naptime for the team. Pinkle decided to sleep on my chest, because is about chest height on his feet....when im standing....
dammit im so bad at making sandwiches. but man this one sounds like it'd be interesting but also tasty.... Butter, lettuce, ham, banana, and strawberry.
anyway time to fuck team star up, i have a duck
"self defense" bitch you better get a defense lawyer
feel like we're getting to the stage where more trainers should have multiple pokemon
Fani low key like "hey if i take out the leader of a team star squad then i should be the new leader, and if i consolidate all five under my own leadership, then i could found an empire!"
have just been told they made a game where you can tackle goals in any order but didn't bother scaling the difficulty.....seriously???? what the FUCK. it's like they released a nonlinear game but 100% expect you to play it in a 100% linear way. they want to railroad you so bad.
i am having a pretty good time, my gripes are largely ignorable, but...man I was really hoping I wouldn't have to just accept steamrolling literally everything
anyway we are heading into the base with Daya, Pinkle, and Sotero. that wasn't hard. i will steamroll everything.
hi, mela! prepare to meet your doom!
can't deny she's got style tho like goddamn. i AM rocking to the music and team star is, i will admit it, kind of cool.
SO THE CAR IS A POKEMON
honestly i did expect Mela to be less....subdued.... She seems so apathetic and bored, which is fine, but she was getting built up as an ugly screaming mess and i was SO eager to see that
like "what a hassle" that's???? all????? unless like they're going for a rep built up when she's no longer matching it, we ARE entering a flashback
oh. oh there were bullies...
ohhh dear....but i knew it there's a man behind the big five isn't there
......and we ARE going with her being Tired and no longer being the fiery, furious girl she used to be, aren't we?
stop making me sad
rtdyguik the way she walks though oh my gofd
why does the photo look like that
haha tsun away defeat means friendship
oh no it's about to get feelsy again ain't it
oh no now i'm invested
OKAY current take on things: there is love and charm woven into these characters, pokemon, stories, and the region. i am intrigued by everything. I want to see more. Yes, there are some brokey bits, but so far they seem to me to be structural, rather than foundational. We will keep going, with love in our hearts and sympathy for developers rushed by corporate greed.
tl;dr the game is flawed but this is a place to focus on the things we enjoy, and i see a lot to love here
supply unit??? who the hell are you cassiopeiaaaaAAAAA PENNY IT'S PENNY ALL FEELINGS ARE GOOD
"i'm good with machines and hacking and stuff" *starry eyed* are you cassiopeia?
honestly the vibe i'm getting with team star at this point is "you live long enough to see yourself become the villain"
looking at pokedex, realized Pinkle isn't gonna evolve, think i'll swap out for something else....
raiding the base for items and dialogue after, getting the sense Mela just....disappeared. But her squad really cared about her. And one is saying the other crews will get revenge.... I wonder fi they would? How close were the five leaders, and how close are they now?
i am just gonna copypaste in some nattering from a DM so you can see how absolutely hopeless I am
"i guess i should probably go do early things in western paldea now huh....get at least a LITTLE balance...." .... "also. i meant early things in EASTERN. paldea. i am in western paldea." .... "okay im gonna hit the next pokemon center up the road, then head back to Mesagoza so i can head east" ... "...west?" ... "WAIT NO I AM IN THE EAST I NEED TO GO WEST"
SOMEDAY I WILL FIGURE OUT WHERE ON THE PLANET I FUCKING AM AND THEN YOU'LL ALL BE SORRY
...?
...!
SHINY BUIZEL!!!!!
CRIT CAPTURE?!
AAAAAAAAAAA
Goldilocks
also we are swapping Pinkle for Teeny
oh there's new dialogue at school
oky not as much as i thought
oh hey while I'm in Mesagoza I should maybe accessorize? i'll take a peek
i honestly kind of really like Fani's current look tho....eh, some new shoes, maybe some gloves...ooh, picnic customization stuff....and some new sammich ingredients....picks up new recipes.....
Okay! Westward! Yes, it's westward!
picnic time to set up my new stuff....and make a sweeeeet sammich....best stacked one I've made yet
scoots took a nap on the table and then kicked the ball off a cliff......
Anyway time to explore and catch pokemon!!! Misty the Mareep! PUPPY. Dervish the Maschiff! Coppel the Rockruff! OH fancy scyther with a normal tera... You can be Mozart. Meditite is now Karov. Eckles the Mudbray. Flittle? What's that? You're gonna be Flan now. IF it will stay in the goddamned ball. Riolu! You're gonna be Joot. Once again, if it stays in the goddamn ball. !!! There's Swablu here, get in the ball Bula. Ooh, Phanpy friend, you're Wikae. Toxel is Niv.
I am starting to feel the.....three hours of sleep I got. Anyway, Bramaram the Gastly. Moosley the Starly. Back toward the low level area.... Tyse the Smoliv.
Ten Sights of Paldea, that sounds fun! Got to the Pokemon center and the watchtower, I think I am done for the night. Did I really accomplish only one thing....?

38. “Ignore me all you want, you can’t unfuck me” with Jaysa 🤭
oooo this should be fun
38. “Ignore me all you want, you can’t unfuck me.”
Jasmine looked up from her laptop and huffed. "Wipe that grin off your face, Betty." She glared at the blonde across from her.
"Why don't you wipe it off me like you did last weekend, Blondie?"
She groaned and looked back at her. "Can you just focus on your part of the project please?"
"I already finished mine." Daya grinned. Her platform shoes were kicked onto the table top in their secret spot in the back of the library. Of course it was Jasmine's luck to be paired with her weekend hookup for their midterm project.
"Then leave me alone so I can finish my half."
"But it's so fun to tease you." The taller girl snickered. "You're so responsive."
Jasmine sighed rubbed her temples and closed her eyes, trying to find some restrain in the depths of her spirit to not jump across the table and smack her across the face.
"Ignore me all you want, you can't unfuck me, Blondie."
She didn't need this right now. She was beyond stressed with her midterms, rehearsals only getting more intense, and for some reason all of her friends wanted to come to her for advice on their relationships. It was too much and she didn't know how much more she could take.
Daya heard quite sniffles and furrowed her brow. She stopped and sat up straighter, her feet off the table. "Blondie? Hey, you okay?" The sniffles only got louder and her concern grew. "Jasmine, hey what's up."
"Just leave me alone." Her voice wobbled as she wiped her eyes, very careful to not look at her. She wouldn't give her the satisfaction of seeing her cry. The blonde leaned forward in her seat across from Jasmine and held onto one of her arms, squeezing in a comforting way that pulled the younger girl out of her mind. She lifted her head and looked over at her. She could see the worry evident in her eyes and felt something tighten in her chest.
"Hey," her voice was soft and serious, different from how joking and snarky she usually was. "Jas, I'm sorry for what I said."
"What're you doing?" She asked.
"I'm apologizing. I didn't mean to make you upset. I'm sorry." She lifted her head from her hands and smiled softly, wiping her eyes and sniffing.
"Do you always make your hookups cry?" That got Daya to chuckle.
"I mean, not like this but.."
Jasmine laughed loudly and snorted behind her hands. "God you're foul."
"You asked about it." She still had her hand holding onto Jasmines arm, thumbing rubbing over soothingly and making her relax even more. "How about we take a break from this school shit and get coffee or something."
"I thought you said you were going to meet with your friends after this? I don't want to stay with me just because I cried."
"I want to know you're okay, Jasmine. I may seem like a rotted bitch most of the time, but I'm not a dick."
Jasmine chuckled and wiped her eyes again. "Yeah, most of the time. But I'd like to get some coffee."
"Good." Daya nodded. "Come on, I know a place."

COSTARS | T.HOLLAND
Tumblr media
requested?: yes by @gpiggy98, tysm for requesting this and i hope you enjoy this!!
pairing: tom holland x actress!reader
an: just not edited & SUPER sloppy, i’ll rewrite this during the week :p + expect to get fewer updates throughout the week, i’m getting ready for a trip out of the country :p
Even after countless hours of filming with each other, Tom couldn't stand you. You didn’t know what you could have done wrong seeing as you play one of his best friends in the films. You were growing tired of his attitude. You liked him for god sakes and you couldn't comprehend how he couldn't be in the same room with you. It broke your heart to see how he would brush you off so carelessly but you grew to live with it and accept the reality that you two would never happen.
Thankfully, it was your last day filming and you wouldn't have to worry about Tom for a few weeks. “Y/N, your trailers all packed up!” A voice said, you turned around to face Zendaya, “Yeah, I’m going home after filming.” You smiled, dumping out a cup of water into the sink.
She sighed, “I’ve got a few more days left. Any exciting plans for when you get home?” She asked sitting on your couch, “Not really. Just go home and chill before the press tour.” You said sitting next to her, “I’m thinking of probably going to Disneyland for a few days once I get home. I haven’t really decided.”
She wrapped her arms around you, “Ah, I’m going to def miss you when you're gone.” You giggled at her response, “We’ll see each other in a few weeks Daya plus I’ll be visiting you on the set of Euphoria.” You said, “You're not getting rid of me so quickly.” You said wrapping your arms around her as well.
“Woah, it’s so bare in here.” A voice said. You lifted your head up to peek over at whoever has just come in, “Hi Tom.” You mumbled, “Come in.”
Tom walked in and shut the door behind him, “I kinda forgot what this trailer looks like when it’s not decorated.” He said, “It looks way better now than what it did before.” You groaned at his response. “What do you want?” You asked letting go of Zendaya, “Jon suggested we go over our lines before filming. He doesn’t want a certain someone stumbling on their lines.” You rolled your eyes at him, “Yeah okay. Let me grab my book.” You said getting up from the couch, Zendaya following right behind, “I’ll be heading out. Come see me before you go?” She asked, “Yeah, I will.” You smiled.
She headed towards the door, “Awesome! Tom be nice to her.” She said pointing over at Tom, “I’m always nice to her.” She scoffed at his response, “Be nice.” She said one last time before shutting the door behind her.
“Am I not nice to you?” He asked sitting on the couch, “Not really.” You mumbled in response, sitting on the counter. “Are you being serious?” He asked looking over at you, “About?” You asked.
He sighed, “Do you really think I’m not nice to you? Cause I think I’m extremely nice to you.” You groaned, “Can we not talk about this now? I don’t want to be in a shitty mood later.” You said grabbing your script book and flipping over to the pages you’d be rehearsing. “No, We’re talking about this now.” He said setting his book to the side.
“Really? Dude it's plain and simple, you're sometimes of a douchebag. Happy?” You said rolling your eyes at him, “Don’t roll your eyes at me.” He said getting visibly upset, “Or what?” You asked putting your book to the side, “Gonna be mean to me? Can't breakdown what's already broken. Now can we just read our lines so we can get this over wi-”
You were abruptly cut off by Tom kissing you, “What the actual fuck?” You asked stunned at what just happened, “Did you really just kiss me?” You stared at him in shock but he didn't respond.
“Don’t tell me that you didn't like it.” He said, “I’ve liked you for sometime but I never meant to come off as rude. I mean, I may have my moments but I was just teasing you really.”
You looked at Tom, “I like you too?” You said, “I mean,” You paused, “Yeah, I like you too. I just thought that this whole time you hated me or something.” You sighed, “I guess, I’m glad you don't.” You smiled.
Tom smiled back at you, “We should probably get started on reading those lines.” You laughed, “We probably should.”

I see it from both ways. Career wise and relationship wise. He wants to give all or nothing to everything in life. In relationships he gives everything and he doesn't receive nothing in return, he will walk away.
Jake
My head & my heart - Ava Max, Jonas blue
My head and my heart are torturing me, yeah Lost my mind in your arms, I go to extremes, yeah When angels tell me run, and monsters call it love, oh My head and my heart are caught in-between, yeah
He is torn apart. Jake wants to be like a normal teenager, related to relationships but also he understands that he is an idol and having a relationship could do more harm than good, so he listens to the company. His heart wants a normal teenage fling and that's what is breaking him from the inside.
Sunghoon
Us (How sweet it was) - Ricky Reed
Just to be with you I'd cry, I'd cry a fountain Love you wide like mountain Right here, right now Just to be with you I'll hold you like a prayer Warm summer air On my lips right now
Sunghoon missed his old love, someone who makes him flushed and his heart beat. He remembers the old days and wants to go back with the person who loves. Probably a lot of nostalgia from his trainee days.
Jungwon
Mount Everest - Labrinth
Mount Everest ain't got shit on me Mount Everest ain't got shit on me 'Cause I’m on top of the world I'm on top of the world, yeah Burj Dubai ain't got shit on me You could touch the sky but you ain't got shit on me 'Cause I'm on top of the world I'm on top of the world, yeah
Jungwon feels he is on the top of his career and he is confident about it. But he is not on the top, he has time to work through to be on the top and the potential to be one of the most recognized idols of the 4º gen. (Probably Enhypen will have the same agenda as BTS when they were young).
Sunoo
Bad girl - Daya
Bad girl, need a bad girl, need a bad girl 'Cause the bad boys just don't cut it We got what they want want, what they want want They can look but they just can't touch it Bad girl, need a bad girl, need a bad girl 'Cause the bad boys just don't cut it They're always up to no good Don't let them wish they could
(IDKW Everyone in this reading in related to love matters *sigh*) Okay so Sunoo wants someone who gives a bad boy/bad girl energy, he feels he needs to spice up his life. He doesn't want someone cute, he cares for someone fierce and sexy, no matter the gender, I think he is magnetized by it.
Niki
Whoopty - Robert Christian
Sorry not sorry there's no lyrics :(
I- 💀 I didn't know what this word meant. I look it in the dictionary.
noisy and exuberant or attention-getting activity (as at a social affair or in a political campaign) -> this probably means being idol after all, but what a weird a** song it came up to.
This changes over time. Everyone has free will and vibrations change. Hope you like this reading <3

Here We Are, Back Again (Frozen in Place)
Here’s that hurt/comfort sequel to that reunion inspired angst.
Title comes from "Stay" from the London Cast Recording of Amelie.

Daya stayed leaning against the door for a while. She wasn’t sure whether it was to keep Jasmine inside or to prevent herself from blowing up at her further. She stayed with her head in her hands, like a frog sitting in a boiling pot of regret. “You’re gonna come out eventually…” She called, only to get a response of more tears.
She knew it was serious when Jasmine didn’t even come outside to feed the cats. Granted, she was still sitting in front of the door, but she couldn’t hear footsteps All she wanted to do was go back in her room and pull a pillow over her head to drown out the cacophonic meowing. “Alright, FINE. If you can’t come out to take care of your cats,” Daya reluctantly stood up and sauntered down the hallway, trudging her feet over to the nearly empty automatic feeder.
“Okay, so... which one of you likes dry food and who likes the canned stuff…” She wondered aloud as she fills one side of the feeder with dry food. She swore she could hear her roommate chastising her from across the house the second she opened it. If you were home more often, you’d know these things, Daya…
Daya closed her eyes, trying to blink that thought out of her head. “It’d be nice if you told me this before you had your pity party, Jaz…” She grabbed some tuna from the fridge and placed it in both cats’ bowls. “And I’m the one who can’t communicate, Jesus…”
“Screw it, you both are getting Fancy Feast. Merry Christmas.” After opening – and nearly cutting herself on – the cans of wet food, she set the bowls down as she took the near-empty water bowl to refill it, but not before sneaking a treat on top of both Theo and Aveyah’s bowls. “Meow meow, little guys…” She giggled, seeing how they both devoured the food; those cats probably thought Daya was the best person in the world right now, but she couldn’t stay for long. She fell right back down to that regretful state that alcohol could only make worse.
The punk girl sat back outside Jasmine’s room, her head leaning against the door. She could just bash it over and over right there, but she didn’t want her roommate to be more upset than she already had been. If there was one thing she remembered in that moment, it was that sudden loud noises and her roommate didn’t mix.
“I fed the cats… in case you cared.” Daya gently knocked on the door, only for there to be no response. “I gave them both treats... They probably thought I was the second coming of Jesus… Cat Jesus.” She bragged. Still no response. “Jasmine?” She knocked again, silently praying for an answer this time. “Look, I’m sorry, okay?”
Suddenly, a rush of footsteps came towards the door, but it still didn’t open. “Oh. Never thought I’d hear the day the great Daya Betty apologized first.” Jasmine sniffled from the other side.
“You don’t have to rub it in…” She only wondered how her roommate could bite that bad, having cried her eyes out. “Listen… We both said things we didn’t mean. I said more things I didn’t mean, but—”
“At least you’re admitting that much.”
“Is that a yes? A no…”
“I guess it’s a yes if you want it to be.”
Daya couldn’t’ believe what she was hearing, but Jasmine was just coming off from a crying fit. Making coherent sense didn’t exactly come easy. “Why can’t you just take my fucking apology at face value? What do I have to do to get you to forgive me? Do I have to kiss at your feet or… I don’t know, buy you a smoothie?” She lightly banged her head against the door as she realized she was sounding desperate seeking forgiveness from someone she didn’t deserve. “Two smoothies?”
“You really don’t have to do anything like that,” Jasmine reassured. “Just… stay where you are.” It seemed like her request was ignored because before she knew it, she felt the door handle jiggling. “No! Don’t come in… but don’t leave…”
Daya tried to stand up but wasn’t given much of a choice to do so. Her attempt to one-up her roommate resulted in both cats falling in love with her and cuddling in her lap when she wasn’t looking. She should have been able to tell from their claws digging into her ripped denim, but it was still a shock. “Not like I can leave anyway…” She tried to laugh off the situation. “I’m stuck.”
“No no no… I like you right there.” It didn’t seem like that much of a request, but Jasmine knew what that would to. If Daya opened the door, this process would start all over again. Sure, she had good intentions, but Jasmine knew how this would go.
It was Zeno’s paradox. The closer either of them would try to get, the closer they would get to a halfway point. Jasmine spent so much of her life taking half of half and halving that in attempts to get closer, but it never worked. The more she tried, the less she felt like she made progress.
“It…” Jasmine stammered, trying to still blink back tears. “I don't know if making much sense, but it feels like I don’t know anything about you! I’ve known you for so long, yet… we’re practically strangers.”
“Well, let’s start now. Hi, my name is Daya Elisabeth Methyd, but I go by Daya Betty because that sounds better and fits on a business card. Yes, I have the same middle name as my sister because my parents were lazy and thought they were being funny. I’m studying music, specifically recording and production, so I could both perform and produce my own shit. My favorite color is yellow, and I once downed pickle juice like a shot.”
“I knew all that!” That was a half-truth. It took her a bit to realize that Betty came from Elisabeth. “But if you wanna play like that, Hi. I’m Jasmine like the princess, Rose like the flower, Kennedie—”
“Like the president?”
“No!”
“Well, I’ll tell you something you probably don’t know,” She tried to think of something to one-up Jasmine, twiddling her foot in a way to not shake Theodore off. “Daya’s… short for Diane.”
“So, you’re Diane Elisabeth Methyd…”
“Don’t you fucking laugh!”
“I’m not laughing!” Jasmine said, trying to hold back her laughter.
Daya could just feel the blonde smirking from the other side of the door. “Not even Bosco knows about this. There, are you happy?”
“Glad.”
For the next few minutes, the two of them just talked: something that they were naturals at. Daya wouldn’t admit it, but she was about as much of a chatterbox as the girl she complained so much about. When they stopped, she gently scooped the cats into her arms and gently knocked on the door with a free enough elbow.
After taking a few deep breaths, Jasmine slowly turned the door handle as she made direct eye contact with Daya.
“May I come in?” The scene kid asked, gently placing the cats down. They scampered around the room, unbothered by any of the conversation. There were more important things on their minds. For a moment, the only things that made noise were the lightning-fast movement of furry blurs.  “Are… we okay?” Daya broke the silence.
"You know what?" Jasmine gently grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a hug and, by extension, the room. She could just continue to cry into her closer friend’s chest. Just to let everything out… be as vulnerable as she could.
“I think we’re gonna be fine.”
