i do like bg3 i do love getting to play out my 5e fantasies in a single player rpg and i think it's pretty polished for how huge it is but i cannot empathize with people treating the mains tory or the companions as masterworks of storytelling. the main story i can give a pass for needing to be massive to accommodate the size of the game and i do genuinely think the main three villains there are fun and i like them but for a game that identifies one of its draws as the unique companions and quests it is like... heartwrenching to see just from the volume of content which characters they liked and which they didn't care about

✧ but from your stories, he also starts to think that Ena just must be hard to deal with in general

✧ when he hears this many stories, he actually kinda wants to meet them! Maybe not the... energetic and problematic ones... but the calm, kind and mature ones sound pretty cool and obviously he wants to have good relationship with your family

👨‍👧‍👧Do you tell people in real life that you write fic? 

I do and I have! Not everyone, of course, when asked about hobbies by people who I don't feel comfortable knowing just how weird I am I just say I "write short stories" but I have told people! Like there were some people at my internship who were also very into fanspaces, and we actually bonded over fanfic! Not from the same fandom, but still

📝 What is one growth area you have for your writing?

I'd like to think I've gotten better at dialogue, and like... creative ideas (to some extent), but I think I want to get better at trsuting the reader. Look, I love writing inner monologue, so I will always have a lot of that, but I'm well aware it gets a lot sometimes and can be... less. Also, more active vocabulary (like remembering words Exist and that I odn't have to use the same word over and over again)

👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?

oh absolutely. In looking for a snippet earlier I found one titled 'Pain' about Simon reminiscing on his life with Wille, and how he was going to go to the nursing home to go through his memories/photoalbums with Wille because Wille didn't remember him anymore (he does this every Sunday, more often if he can).

💖 What do you like most about your own writing?

I like my atmospheric descriptions the best, and the way I set the mood sometimes. Like, those things just come naturally to me and I feel it gives some body to my writing. also, I can be really good with metaphors sometimes lol
