Okay, another blurb… (me: multiple blurbs one day; also me: *doesn’t upload a single thing for weeks/months* lol)

So, I’ve been thinking about the kids —Amelia and Arthur— obsessed with the idea of having a little sister. But before that they were stunned by the idea of baby kicking Y/n from the inside (lol). Closer to Ruth’s arrival, Amelia was 6 and Arthur 4…they love each other but as any couple of siblings they bicker a lot haha.

One day, Y/n is very exhausted and goes to take a nap on her bed. Matty tried his best keeping the kids entertained, busy, so they let her rest but up to a moment they want mommy. The kids father couldn’t complain because he did want to see Y/n too (simp).

Matty convinced them with the idea of making her a tea and crackers, so they helped him.

Once everything is ready, Arthur took the plate and Amelia the steaming mug. Matty checked first if Y/n was awake, making them wait at the door.

Matty took a peak first, watching how Y/n’s face was illuminated by the light coming from her phone screen. Y/n boyfriend pushed his entire body inside, closing the door behind him taking her attention.

“Hey.”

“Hi, my love.” Matty took a sit beside her on the bed, while she left her phone closer on the side table. “How are you feeling?”

“Better.” Y/n lifted her hand towards his forehead showing a slight frown. “Where are the kids?” She worried about.

“Outside.” Matty said. Y/n was showing a lot of confusion so he clarified, “they made you tea with crackers.”

“Oh my god…” she brought a hand towards her chest. “Did you make them wait outside?!” Y/n scolded him.

“I wanted to check first how you were doin’, alright?” Matty explained. “We had a chat today and they’re a bit worried something might happened to mommy.” His words made her pout and Matty leaned forwards kissing it away.

“Please bring them in.”

Matty did as she told him and the kids walked slowly into the room. Y/n’s heart melting seeing her babies so worried.

“Hello.”

A chorus of hello’s falling from their lips filled the room.

“That’s for me?” She asked them, pushing her body up so she could rest her back into the headboard of the big bed. The kids moved their faces saying yes.

“Get in bed with mommy, guys.” Matty let them know they could, taking the mug and the plate from their hands.

Arthur took place by Y/n’s right side and Mel pushed her body closer towards the left. Y/n rounded them with her arms.

“What’s wrong, my loves?” She asked them.

Arthur could begin to speak his worry thoughts, so Amelia helped as the big sister.

“I’m scared.”

“Why?”

“That something might happen you.” Amelia said.

Y/n moved her head looking at Arthur, asking, “Are you scared too, Archie?” and he nodded.

Y/n couldn’t help to look first at Matty before speaking again. “My loves?” She asked and they replied with a quiet “yes” so she continued, “I’m okay, I’m very tired because the baby is making me feel tired but I promise nothing is going to happen to me, okay?”

“Ask mommy what you asked me earlier.” Matty encouraged them.

Y/n gave them the space and time, being Arthur the one asking this time, “Does it hurts?”

“What, baby?”

“When the baby pushes…”

“Not really.”

Amelia looked at her mother with a puzzled look, “But she’s pushing from the inside.” Which made their parents to chuckled.

“Well, yes…but it doesn’t hurt baby. Here, give me your hand.” Y/n took Amelia’s hand softly, under the attention of both Arthur and Matty. Y/n pushed with her fingers agains Amelia’s palm. “It’s similar to this sensation. She’s just moving around and stretching.”

Mel took her hand away, cringing, “Feels weird.”

“The first time is weird. I’m used to it now. You two kicked a lot too.”

“Did I?”

“She just said both of us.” Amelia looked at her brother, who showed her his tongue mocking her sister.

Y/n took the opportunity to look at Matty who was admiring his little family even when the bickering between the kids was escalating slowly. Their family was everything he needed and welcoming a new baby into it made his heart swelled.

Huge parallels between Byler + El and how it proves the separate ways everyone will go!!

[Color coding: El, Mike, Will, Bullies/Troy/Angela, important/key words/Max x1]

In season 1, Mike overhears the bullies talking badly about Will. This is how the scene goes in order.

1.) Mike confronts them, shouting Troy’s name. They turn around.

2.) The bullies (Troy) say more shit about Will.

3.) They turn back around. Mike pushes Troy to the floor.

This moment signifies the lengths Mike is willing to go to defend Will when he isn’t even there.

In season 4, El sees Angela still gloating from bullying her earlier and goes to talk with her. This is how the scene goes in order.

1.) El confronts them by saying Angela’s name and they turn to her attention.

2.) The bullies (Angela) say more shit about her to her face.

3.) They turn back around. El calls her name again and hits her on the head, knocking her to the floor.

SUMMARY:

El was just mirroring what she saw Mike do when he was defending Will. It literally shows her watching his every move in that scene. So why is it so bad to Mike when El does the same to defends herself? (In all fairness, she did hit harder, but still!!)

CONCLUSION:

Many have been saying that El will go off on her own. Posters are evident about this and so are the s4 Netflix icons. It’s also what s3 was leading up to with Max giving her her own independence.

It’s ALSO, also shown at the end of s4 v2 when everyone pairs off into the field:

Byler is together, other couples are together, and El is again, by herself. This isn’t a bad thing by any means. It just shows that El is ready to be on her own and byler is ready to be together!!
