i can see diavolo kind of disliking picture day, in a way. he has to shove away sunshiny, golden retriever ‘dia’ and become calm, collected, firm ‘lord diavolo, prince of the devildom’. he hates it :(( he’s constantly uptight and he can’t seem to relax. he probably isn’t smiling in his photo although he should be.. because he’s gotta keep his noble attitude and such. i feel like he has a whole spread dedicated to him in the yearbook. all those candid shots of him hosting balls (hehe) and at student council meetings (mephi had the time of his LIFE sitting in on that meeting. he was constantly snickering and taking photos at random times to catch people off guard. lucifer was pissed but couldn’t do anything bc he was “on official newspaper club business” in reality he just needed references for princess dia and prince lucifer stickers) dia will laugh heartily when he sees the look of displeasure on your face when you see his picture. he thinks its funny that you think his face looks so stiff and weird. no one’s ever said that to him before. he’ll fucking BEAM at you if you say he looks so much cuter when he smiles and that you would rather have a happy smiling prince than a dull one. ur so cute he loves you sm.

barbatos probably spends more time worrying about diavolo than himself. he’s got to press dia’s uniform, shine his shoes, help him shave, pluck his eyebrows, literally full spa treatment. barb still looks clean crisp and professional in his photo though. idk i don’t feel like there’s much to say about him and the yearbook. it’s just another day of the week for him. he probably does quality control on the yearbooks before they come out?? idk how to explain this but i feel like he’s the most reliable person to do it, lucifer is too busy, and the other brothers would seize the chance to do something malicious or just not care enough to be thorough about it. he supervises and reads the little blurbs in the yearbook and makes sure mephistopheles hasn’t done anything. is wearing his gloves in every picture. if you ask him why he’ll probably just say that it’s become a habit at this point (his butlerness is bleeding into his soul). if you say you like his hands gloveless he’ll chuckle and offer a sly “is that so...” while making a mental note of it in his head. 

mephistopheles and the yearbook... where to start... ive talked about him so much already i think we all know that that yearbook season is a field day for this man. he cooks up sinister mischievous plots all year in preparation.. i swear he has a notebook where he writes new ideas he comes up with to sabotage prank the yearbook and all the students!!! now, listen idk much ab this man, but from the bare minimum ive seen, i think he holds a slight grudge against lucifer.. (ex-friend of dia?? LMAO LUCIFER TOOK HIS SPOT..) anyways i think mephi is a spiteful bitch and that's why he does all of his shit to ruin lucifers rep??? IDK IVE LITERALLY JUST WATCHED HIS INTRO VID BUT IT MAKES SENSE RIGHT? anyways he always kind of resents the yearbook a lil bit bc if that maybe.. he def interviews you for the yearbook and asks u a ton of personal questions ab the brothers and dia hoping to get dirt on everyone, but ur answers are so cute and genuine and it shows that u care a lot ab all of them he just finds himself thinking ur rlly pretty and he wants u to talk about him like that he was supposed to hate u what the hell happened anyways u have a cute little interview in the yearbook now he couldnt bring himself to ruin it (HAHAHAHS WHAT A SIMP)

simeon finds the yearbook extremely interesting. he doesn't care so much about his own picture, but he LOVES looking at everyone else's. it gives him good ideas for new characters!! u and him would literally sit and make up dramatic backstories and personalities for different demons based on their pics HAHS itd turn into a whole storyline and simeon is literally making mental notes. in his yearbook photo, he just has his usual serene smile. he doesn't do anything special, although i think luke would wanna help him comb his hair or fix his slutty outfit :} (ok but fr why are the demons so covered up and raph and sim are literally walking around in exposing outfits like hello raph has his tits all the way out and asmo has a scarf, jacket AND a shirt underneath???) i feel like simeon would also send a picture of his yearbook pic to micheal and tell him about the whole process idk i feel it in my bones. if you tell him about yearbook signing he will ask everyone for their notes and signatures to commemorate his time in the devildom (he'll read your little note over and over when ur away... he cant help it ur so cute and he misses u sm)

i think luke is really nervous about the yearbook but the moment u ask him about it he's like "im not nervous quit treating me like a child!! >:((" simeon silently nods in your direction to confirm that yes luke is very nervous. he just wants to make a good impression!! its his first yearbook, he's gotta let everyone know that he's a capable, mature angel, worthy of micheal's praise! (he just wants micheal to be proud of him shh dont tell him i said that). when hes getting ready to have his picture taken, he takes extra care to fix his jaunty little hat, smooth his coat, brush his hair, etc. i think he tries to do a serious smile but he just comes out looking so cute that when u see his pic u unconsciously let out an 'awwww' and he pouts and tells u he is NOT cute and he is NOT a chihuahua that joke is DEAD. *pointedly glares at mammon* anyways his yearbook pic is really cute just dont tell him that hehe u and simeon can gush ab it later

raphael doesn't give two shits ab the yearbook i think. and he absolutely doesn't understand when u ask if theyre actually letting him wear his outfit hes just like "....yes? why would they not?" and still doesnt understand when you tell him that its kinda inappropriate but u still think its rlly hot. well. u can't see all of his abs in the pic but u can see most of em so ur sufficiently fed. solomon is kinda excited!! i think its one of the human things he's never really gotten to do so he's kinda pumped ab it :)) i think he just has a cute little smile on his face the whole day this is a new experience for him <33 he asks u all about yearbooks and picture day in preparation. he feels more connected to his humanity!!! i think after meeting u he just kinda realized that he missed being an average human, so he's been romanticizing every second of ur time together AWWWW altho sometimes hes a little mf shit >:[ will request to meet up w u in the human world to go through ur old yearbooks togther!! he thinks little u is so cute!! thirteen my wife is erm not thrilled ab picture day haha... she thinks its fucking dumb and she doesn't wanna at all. i think she even complains to dia about it n he tells her its her duty as a student at RAD and she just scowls and mutters profanities the rest of the day. i think if u mention to her how u are looking forward to seeing her picture and being able to look at it up in the human world she'll be like "FINE i'll do picture day i guess... itll be less of a drag if ur there" all while blushing a lil and looking the other way hehehe. DEFINITELY HAS A MENACING SMILE IN THE PIC. like the other beings are just :) and shes like >>>>:} literally what a freak lmao... also doesnt wear her freaking uniform and it pisses lucifer off a little bit but he doesn't wanna deal with her shes such a pain HAHA. when yearbooks are given out she probaby tosses it somewhere and then promptly forgets about it. she will 100% tease solo ab his picture though hehe

bonus: all of the exchange students have to take a pic together and it slowly turns in to a fight over who gets to stand next to u... thirteen and raph are close to having an all out brawl, solo and sim are glaring at each other, and luke is clinging onto ur leg with a pout. the poor photographer... eventually its kinda resolved when dia is like "oh ill just stand by mc! hahah!" he knows exactly what hes doing. no one can say no because hes literally the prince but they glower the rest of the day because dia has his arm around u and is basically blocking the rest of them HAHA. literally the same thing happens when the HOL/student council have to take a pic together oml

Lesson 74 Ramblings

Okay guys I’m just gonna be real with you here I’m not a big twins fan okay? If you like the twins. Don’t click beneath the cut. It’s a whole buncha negativity centered around those characters, you don’t need to look at it or hear it.

Take care of yourselves and don’t let my wildly subjective, personal, and unrelated opinions bother you in any way. I’m just venting so seriously please just ignore if negativity about the characters will upset you.

Also I get rlly mean in later parts towards the characters. If you’ve read Sinners, All of Us, you know I can be absolutely vicious skadhfgfkhg so uhh proceed with caution bc I am just getting my feelings out here.

Anyways...

Gonna be real, I never got over Lesson 16. The devs weren’t ready/willing to tackle the stuff they wrote about and it shows. The following lessons did not satisfy my personal urge for revenge/closure with the whole murder thing. Not gonna argue with anyone. It just didn’t do it for me.

Additionally, Beel is probably my least favorite character in the entire cast, possibly including Luke (who I don’t like simply because I want this child out of my dating sim lol). 

He had a fun moment or two in Season 1 but honestly his type of character (gentle giant, calm big guy) never appealed to me in the first place and. You can blame this on the writers if you want but 80% of his character is “I’m hungry”. 

Every single time he shows up in a scene it’s to say “I’m hungry” or talk about food. It’s. So. Fucking. Boring. It simply does not make him compelling or interesting as a character and I literally like Belphie better just because I have actual strong feelings for him.

Anyways in the light of me despising both Beel and Belphie,,, yeah uh. 74 was a rough fucking lesson for me.

If you don’t find him then I’ll throw a fucking party. You can stay here in dreamland forever looking for him, you annoying little shit.

Listen, I was mildly aggravated that I had to be nice to Belphie. S4 has been particularly crappy about it, in terms of scenes with Belphie where I could only sweetly call him my friend instead of kissing him, at best.

And his shitty “blood splashes on you” that he didn’t warn you about, where you don’t have the option to tell him “go eat shit and die” - 

Anyways. This particular scene didn’t annoy me that much - I didn’t like Beel, I didn’t like Belphie, whatever, let’s just get the show on the road.

But then...

I tried to catch the third pic mid-sparkle because like. Mammon is just DELIGHTED. Boy is BEAMING. Our cute little sparkling white crow bundle of joy.

He’s happy to see you, too. He says hello to both of you, he’s smiling super nicely, and then he recounts the awesome luck he’s been having.

Like Mammon isn’t even mean? Or rude? He’s talking himself up a little bit (”Super Mammon Night”) but uhhh in the context that Mammon is literally having his best dream fulfilled, which you and Belphie both know... like, it’s not surprising? It’s not really that weird? The dude’s just having a good time?

And what does Belphie do when faced with Mammon’s sincere happiness, with a touch of pretty harmless self-glorification?

I’M LITERALLY GOING TO FUCKING CHOKE YOU AND TOSS YOU DOWN THE STAIRS YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT!!!

Literally dude Mammon is just having a happy dream and Belphie shits allllll over it. It is harmless and meaningless and Mammon is BEAMING and Belphie goes “It’s really irritating, huh?”

No, you’re irritating, you worthless cow!!! GO AWAY!! Like why does he have to talk like this in response to his brother smiling and talking about his winning streak, which he’s having, because this is his dream? Why???

I mean, it’s always been like this for Mammon. But remember those options up above you have to comfort Belphie when he’s upset?

Here’s what you get for Mammon:

Why don’t you get one option that’s just a little nice to him? Seriously??? The game makes you let your MURDERER down gently, but can’t let you say “Mammon, it’s me, I’ll buy you dinner if you wake up” or smth?

Augh just. It grinds my gears guys. I don’t like Belphie. I would love it if Belphie got the options Mammon does, and I’d sincerely enjoy Belphie’s presence in the game more like that.

It’s especially jarring in the light of how desperately concerned Belphie is about Beel, too (who I also have to be nice to, despite not liking, and who’s caught the “be mean to mammon” but this season, himself). 

Like Belphie why don’t you and Beel just stay in the dream so I never have to see EITHER of you again? That’d work perfectly for me!

I just don’t like Belphie and having him shoved front and center of the lesson, and that would have been bearable bc hey, everyone’s fave deserves a moment in the limelight... but then he has to be a dick to Mammon? over NOTHING?

So on the last day of july i went clubbing

Almost immediately met a cute boy and he asked me to go to a hotel with him. I debated but ultimately went with him. He asked if i wanted to go on a date because fucking japanese assholes equate date with hotel.

Went. Hooked up. Then. He said he wanted to go back to the club because otherwise “it would be a waste of his night”

So... went back.... watched him look for another girl. And felt like shit

Eventually a boy that was ok looking talked to me. I didnt ignore him and he got excited over me talking to him after having ignored other boys. I didnt intend to continue talking to him but he was so excited the entire time and was nice so i just stayed with him.

We left together and sat on some sidewalk and talked. I saw that both his arms had cut marks all over them

And as a fucked up person... i stupidly think that other fucked up people will be as empathetic as i try to be and my depressed friends back home

He told me some of his shitty homelife - apparently he doesnt have parents

He asked me to go to a hotel with him and i said no... so we went to eat instead...

He kept being overly nice (in words) told me that he works at an old folks home and that he wants to learn english and come to america and help me take care of my mom.... in a sudden way

Rationally im not stupid and know that was a line. But im pretty stupid in general

He kept asking me to be his gf and i told him id need to go on a date with him to decide that

I just wanted to say no but...

He didnt pay for my meal - ya im one of those girls that that bothers

We seperated and he continued to text my the next few days. We set up a date. He asked me to go to him in yokohama - an hour away from tokyo

Since id never been there i said yes. But this meant i had to pay an expensive train ticket

He did pay for dinner and afterwards convience store for me... mostly... asking if i had change

He wanted to drink at the pier and insisted i get a drink but didnt pay for it

And then took me back to his apartment

It ended up being fun

The next morning while he was showering i was just poking around at his stuff. Not actually looking for anything just curious about the things he has

I looked at his wallet (honestly to see the design but i also always wonder why japanese guys are so comfortable leaving money around who is generally a stranger)

And then. I found. Picture from a photobooth. Him amd soem girl. It was dated from a week before.

He told me the night we met that he broke up with his ex a year ago. But this picture looked very much like a couple

I asked him about it and he just said sorry and threw it in the trash (not a real trash. It could easily be taken out) he said it was from a year ago

After. Bit i took it out amd pointed at the date. He literally hummed and refused to comment ...but he told me hell only see me...

I shouldn’t take that as enough but i did and told him when i got home that ill only se him too. I told him i liked him - and to this point he kept saying he likes me over and over. He has not said it since this. Just said he was happy that i used his name.

After that i went to okinawa for a few days. He told me his sim card broke and he doesnt have wifi unless he goes to a convience store (as an excuse to text slow)

I got back the next week and stayed home all week from a yeast infection that i think he gave me. When he barely responded i told him that

Then he responded continuously telling me that i just got it on my own and hes healthy so it wasnt him

That weekend i went drinking with some friends and messaged him. He responded immediately and i called him. Asking when his phone got fixed. He told me the day before

Then he told me he has pink eye and sent a picture. He said he cant go out of his house because of it

The next week was my birthday. He said hed be cured the day after and we could celebrate. Then he cancelled saying the doc told him hes still contagious

A few days after he sent me a picture of him with makeup on and contacts in saying he went to the salan. I responded immediately asking if he was still contagious and tried to call. He ignored me

I tried to call more throughout the day

Nothing

Over 24 hours pased so i used another account to say hi to him. After 2 hours he responded to the fake account asking who it was

And i flipped the fuck out. I told him a bunch of reasons why he sucked and that he did and fuck him

Then he responded to me with long messages. Many of which i couldnt understand (hes used incorrect kanji before that which makes translation strained)

His excuse was that he felt sick and slept for 20 hours (but he ignored me for over 27)and that he wanted to answer his texts in order. That he doesnt look at him phone much and then got mad at me for not being worried about him and instead getting mad

He didnt addresss any of my complaints like the fact that if im his gf i should be a priority

But because im a sucked i felt bad for trying to hurt him and apologized.... he said hed forgive me if i buy him an accessory next time we hung out...

Yeah. Red flags. I too if i had other options... would have said. Thats a weird way to accept an apology.

Also before (on that first date) when we talked about our bdays cause his was a bit before mine. I asked him what hed wanna do as a late celebration. He immediately told me he wanted yakiniku (an expensive meat meal) and clothes or accessorys from an expensive brand he likes...

So he continued to take over 24 hours to reply to me. With very small responces - he never asks me questions. I asked him to call the night before i went camping and he said he couldnt because he was too drunk from drinking with friends. I went camping and came back and got him on the phone. I demanded him to call and he said he couldnt cause he was tired from work and would the following day

I told him it makes me upset that he doesnt talk to me and that i constantly dont feel good because of him. He just said sorrry. I planned to say this is over if he didnt agree to meet me. But he agreed to a date the coming sunday... the day before i began work again. He said hed come to tokyo and and had a plan. It sounded fun.

Well come sunday morning.... he cancelled. He said he didnt have money. I tried to call him several times and he ignored me.

I confronted him in person. He got mad at me for it. Said he got some sort debt collection and got frauded... someone used his name to take out money and he has to pay court. He said he doesnt have money because of it.

I asked why he never tells me whats going on with him (because im dumb and beleive this... actually i dont. I hope hes being honestly and just has really bad luck but)

This time like last time i told him the way he treats me is how really awful boys who are using me and playing with me treat me. And i cant trust him if hes like this but doesnt tell me why

Well...i was there... i offered to pay for out date.... besides the 11 dollars it takes to get to him

He asked me to put 5 dollars on his train card.... it takes 3 dollads to get to and from where we went. He... mad sure no matter where we would eat it would cost 40 bucks - wanting to drink alc and such. It costed 43 dollars. He wanted starbucks but i kinda said no by saying i dont rlly like starbucks - but he still wanted to get a dessert - 3 dollars

And... he wanted me to buy him that aftermentioned accessory... a ring. He looked at very expensive ones... i... would not have paid for even as stupid as i am.. the one he got was 15 or 25 I forget which...

The thing is... if he wasnt actually... if i wasn’t comfortable being with him i woulda stopped this before... unfortunately. As usual. Despite initially not being attracted to him i really enjoyed his company and find him to be fun...

He said that we should go home at 8 i asked about going back to him place and he said no because hes tired and has work the next day. He knows i also do too. At the same time. And i tried to convince him and he kept saying no. Then i asked doesnt he wanna have sex. He said that we should go to a hotel. And i protested that hotels are expensive and his apartments free and just a cheap train station away.
