#i wanted to draw the evolver gun but i couldn't find any refs with a good angle #normal gun will have to do #in any case i wanted to draw this like 2 weeks ago when i started playing the first game #but then i couldn't stop playing it and ended up finishing it at 1 am last saturday #and then i tried to sleep right after but i couldn't bc i wanted to play nirvana initiative so badly #so then i stayed up from then on until sunrise playing the second game #just beat it the other day #didn't like it as much as the first game but i still really enjoyed it #also this marks the second year in a row where i become obsessed with a duology of visual novels and play them in under two weeks #(last year was dgs)#my grades briefly plummeted as a result but they're ok now lol #ai the somnium files #aitsf #aiba #my art

like it just happened out of nowhere and i didn’t back anything up so the whole thing is gone. and the whole game itself is gone too and i can’t redownload it because the eshop is dead. five years of that town. it’s stupid but ive been playing acnl so much lately and i was so fucking close to getting katrina and upgrading the shop fully and it’s all just gone forever. benjamin and eunice. my rooms that i decorated and was so proud of and i wasn’t even done expanding my house yet. i just started finally doing pwps and finding the perfect path. and it’s all just gone forever

OK, quick stop in camp to munch on a pig's head, kiss Karlach, and sleep, and now it's time to go to... The Basement.

A couple interesting notes from the rooftop before we descend below:

Bhaal symbol etched in the floor of one of the surviving towers.

Creepy necromantic ring in a chest unlocked with a "Bone Key."

And finally - apparently THIS is the route we're supposed to take to the basement. I'm pretty sure the stairs are still intact but sure, let's crawl down the mucus-lined chimney instead, why not.

#tales from diana #my riverside 1973 is still my beloved baby but she's really worse for the wear these days #i didn't start thinking about it till i got one for my friend like 6 months ago for his bday #and i kept looking at it and being like oh wow. his doesn't have all the scratches and rips mine does #mine is still BETTER obviously bc it's MINE. it's in worse condition objectively but it's MINE #making it the best copy in existence. to me #and it was my aunt's textbook at boston college. my grandmother let me have it. i think of it as a family heirloom #and the coating on the front cover side of the spine has been slowly tearing off :(#like there's one long vulnerable rip almost all the way down. idk how to prevent it from breaking further #other than just by not using it. and idk how to fix it wo making it potentially worse #i didn't know how to take care of old gigantic books when i got it at 19. i never considered it #i hadn't had one before. but now im more experienced #and im also just curious about what's inside other editions. especially newer ones #i only have 6 plays and at least 3 of them i plan to read in a copy other than the riverside #like my 23 plays and sonnets (1953) edited by t. m. parrot has 2 and another play im gonna borrow from library lending #and id definitely wanna get rid of a lottttt of books i have right now before getting a new one #im already planning on which books to donate when i declutter #and i need to declutter my books DESPERATELY. so so desperately #it'd just be nice to have another complete works in my collection. for a number of reasons.#that way i also suppose ill have two big books of shakespeare for auntie diana to pass down someday #i don't plan on getting one soon im just in the contemplative phase. but boy am i tempted

I just float tested my d20 I use for Victor because the amount of fours it rolls is ridiculous. Turns out it's a normal balanced die, it's the campaign that is cursed.

#majek says shit #pathfinder #to be fair it liked 4s in salt water too but like... in a normal way #it just stopped on a side that touched the surface first #i rolled some more on a table after that and it acted innocent #and I asked my dm/bf if he wants to bet it's gonna start rolling 4s as soon as we start playing today #and he said no because he has a feeling its gonna do exactly that #cursed campaign I tell you #the curse manifests itself also as my bf not being allowed to get a good night's sleep on the days we play #and it's 1 session/2 weeks the last one being a month ago because 2 weeks ago the sleep was so bad he was unable to DM that day #and the campaign is literally about not being able to sleep #the so called No Sleep Campaign

so much shit is going on with all sides of my family and I’m feeling very overwhelmed

#my grandfather is probably going to die within the year #and I walked in on my mom crying the other day about it #which made me sad and made it more real #cause it feels like it was a long time coming but also feels like it happened too fast #my great aunt has really bad problems with her hip and can’t get it replaced because she’s so old and had a stroke #so there’s a risk of putting her under anesthesia #and not only is she in so much pain and can barely move to eat or go to the bathroom #but she lives alone and her daughters who live near her won’t visit her!!!#she has a granddaughter who visits her the most but she’s also busy with work and her kid and stuff #I truly don’t know all the details but they’ve always been weird like the one daughter always accused her husband (her stepdad) of #“playing favorites” with the other daughter. and it’s like? get over yourself #I’d understand if my great aunt was a horrible mother or something but she doesn’t seem to be #plus she raised her granddaughter (one of her daughters kids) so the least that daughter could do is fucking visit her #idk I just feel so bad for her and hope she’s ok #plus there’s stuff going on with my brother which I’m not getting into on here #it’s just like all of this was slowly building up and it all crashed down at once #oh and my uncles mom died (not my grandmother or blood related to me at all) and my aunt will not go to the funeral cause my one uncles #sister is a total c u next Tuesday #like I met my uncles 2 sisters once 20+ years ago when I was in my aunts wedding #so I don’t remember them but everything I hear about them reminds me of the sopranos family #stereotypical new jersey Italian family that hates each other #like down to the siblings too. one sister who is insane and starts fights (Janice) and the other who is more “normal” who I don’t #hear about as much (baraba)#then you have my uncle who is very hot and cold like Tony soprano. plus possibly involved in the mafia or mob or something #I’m not overwhelmed by my uncles family/mom dying btw #it’s just some family drama that’s adding fuel to the fire of stuff happening #ANYWAY #breakdown/vent over! back to my assignments!#personal
