I actually looked into the braiding styles and wanted to learn how to do them because you never know. I want to foster so I want to do everything I can to make sure any person in my life feels seen and safe. Hair is just an extension of safety so 🤷‍♀️

dazai having short hair durring pm and then growing it out once shes free. 1 to represent her distance from her past but also to show as a disconnect from the mafia(like has it at more inch below sholders than usual chin). pluss because i have my i want healthy realtionships with things headcannons it could also be a thing she can take care of sometimes to self care a lil. forced self care. you will be ok. gun to your head you have no choise. last 2 arguments for this point are 1 the pm design i really like for dazai has short hair-(ty ty kokoasci) but lastly the growth could represent her growth as a person. being good takes time ans lot effort and having that as physical metaphore could be neat. mabey only so long because she has cut it again when struggling but keeps trying. idk! think the metaphors with long hair could be more funky~

chuuya!!! i dont have designs for 16-18 for her yet but i still have design notess. so fem chuuya to me has a side shave. i would have gone full masc with the cut but it felt like she would have mid length hair to play around with to me? chuuya like fashion and its the same character so why not have same passion with fem design. also did it and shirted side most hair gose on for fem chuuya to better distinguish one from the other.

also! to me fem chuuya wears pants- its most useful, dont have to have any hassle when fighting or riding her bike. just all in all pants make more sence with how she would live. she also wears minimal make up, just enough so she herself can have fun with it. dazai also wears make up but only a lipstick given to her by oda. its a sorta pale rose color and transfers onto everything. kunikida is this close to killing her for that.

the birb strikes again!

I dont really have a full story for this funky lil dude but I do have some information about him!

Hes real short and overall just small because flying. Idk the exact height but im thinking around 4ft

He has naturally silent flight like an owl. Very convenient for being a ninja

His leggies get tired pretty quick from standing and walking but he can perch for hours, often even sleeping like that

Speaking of perching: he loves to perch. He will perch on anything and it's actually more comfortable for him than standing on flat surfaces. Favorite things to perch on: rafters, the outer walls of the monastery, the dragon head and sails of the bounty, people

Favorite people to perch on: Zane and Cole. Zane because he's sturdy, balanced and dosent complain about his claws (being made of metal has its perks). Cole because big comfy and barely notices his weight and he never mentions it. Both of them because tall.

He perches on Wu too but that's more an emotional thing than him actually being a good perch. Perching on Wus shoulder makes him feel safe because dad <3

At least Wu and potentially all the ninja have falconry gauntlets that they wear almost all the time. Morros talons are very sharp

Ears move with emotion. Why? Because I said so. Same reason for why the tail looks like that, it's just fun

He absolutely has funky bird instincts

His bed (nest) is a complete mess of blankets and pillows and things he stole and it is very comfy so long as you know where he hid the emergency knives

Goes mama bird mode on Lloyd sometimes. If his baby cousin has a nightmare he takes him to his nest and sleeps on top of him. Gotta keep the chick safe. His wings make good blankets <3

When he's comfortable with the ninja he likes to preen them. He won't admit that's what he's doing but they all know. He's actually really good at styling hair as a result. Hates kais hair gelled abomination with a burning passion

Very rare for him to allow others to preen him though, have to ask first and pretty much only Wu and Lloyd. Sometimes Zane but thats just cause he's good at it

Related note: he likes to look pretty. He puts effort into his appearance and takes very good care of himself, he likes accessories. Pretty bird <3

ive never felt connected to gender to be honest. i have the body of a woman, and sometimes i like it, but other times i wish i was just... vague. like, i dont see myself as a man, but i don’t quite feel connected to the set definition of a woman. ive always felt that inside im kind of a void, never truly a woman on the inside. ive always hated my name. yes, the one in my username. ive hated it for so many years. i refuse to change my url because im a stubborn bitgh. but, ive yearned for androgyny. but my parents. i can never tell them.

i feel like it takes him a lot of time to actually accept his feelings for you are beyond platonic. the main reason he falls for you is probably your consistency in his life since thats something he tends to lack. like his mom? gone. his dad? kicked him out of the only place he ever knew. his life is filled with major changes so if you guys have known each other since childhood then consistency is key

once he realizes he likes you he kinda panics because what if you don’t accept him? what if you leave? even worse, what if you leave because he likes you? so now he’s panicking, and naturally, as one does, Zuko avoids his problems. You, being the problem. And his emotions, but he is in denial so

definitely talks to his uncle about the two of you A LOT, especially when he is first figuring out his feelings and trying to figure out what to do about them

his uncle is an elite wingman, constantly tries to get the two of you to be alone in the same space or get information out of you in regards to you

when it comes to confessing i can see a few situations

situation one is that zuko confesses completely by accident, freaks out, disappears, avoids you even more, like homie is a mess. after you get fatally injured, or maybe when he thinks you are asleep, or he just kinda blurts it out in conversation when you guys are doing something domestic. regardless, it is entirely by accident, and now zuko is freaking the heck out.

so that’s how zuko gets his dragon from LOK, storytime over

you kinda have to find him and get a word in before he runs off because he is really scared of rejection, he doesn’t want you to leave and assumes that if the situation is never addressed then you can’t leave woohoo problem solved.

when you corner him you gotta confess super fast and handle his anxieties because he is super worried about you hating him now even though it is the opposite. 

“please don’t leave me.”

situation two is equally chaotic, but far less dancing around the feelings since you confess! congrats! you have more balls than me! im so proud! good job bb!

when you confess, its probably late at night, a comfortable silence between the two of you, or maybe he’s ranting about something, like how dumb the concept of tea is idk. regardless this is DOMESTIC, so it’s soft and cute and you are just like you know what screw it this nerd is so easily flustered by me maybe he likes me back! look at us cuddling like a couple! might as well make it official!

DURING THE RELATIONSHIP

dating during a war is hard so when y’all first start dating, probably towards the end of the war when he finally joins the Gaang, its gonna be really chaotic and you guys are still gonna be sorting through everything, like what kinda couple do you wanna be? neither of you know

kisses are rare during this time, especially since zuko is a generally private person who doesn’t really do PDA much, especially since he wants to avoid teasing and judgement from others. he’s a real people pleaser at the end of the day, he literally spent three years of his life looking for someone the world thought just disappeared permanently because he wanted his dad’s validation.

when you two do kiss, it tends to be a night in your shared tent, even then Zuko is weary of Toph’s seismic senses.

his kisses tend to be soft and sensual, he really just wants to take his time and enjoy it. however, bb does have a temper so you can expect some spice on occasion when he gets frustrated.

this comes later on in the relationship, once the war is resolved, but that just brings about new problems! like having to deal with the new fire lord who is always busy as your boyfriend!

especially at the beginning, when he’s newly crowned and everything is busy and new and he’s struggling with being organized, he rarely has time for you. however, you are likely his right hand, main advisor, general, whatever your area of expertise is he will find you a position in the castle, unless you tell him you want to stay out of politics. though, deep down, he wants to give you a position so he can spend time with you

zuko took the throne YOUNG he was like 16, so he is not proposing until y’all are at least adults, but i imagine that he is probably gonna wanna date you for like at least three years before proposing

situation one is where he kinda just does it,,, randomly? like out of nowhere he realizes that w o w he wants to marry you, he wants to spend the rest of his life with you and dedicate everything to you because you are HIS forever person

~ Back story ~

You got lost in the maze a long time ago. You have no idea how long it been, you estimated around a couple years. It was very hard being cut off from all the people that you loved especially Alby. He was like your big brother when you first came up in the box.

You regret that day that you aimlessly ran into the maze. You were upset cause everyone doubted you and treat you like a nuisance. But this was your opportunity to change, to improve or die trying at least.

Everyone in the Glade gave up on you a long time ago. When you ran into the maze you were only 13.

~ In the Present ~

(your currently 16)

You were running around the maze as usually, enjoying the wind brushing against your cheeks and licking at loose strands of hair. You grew to like the Maze, sure you would never get out of it but why would you need to.

You arrived at a large crack in one particular wall, it was small enough to squeeze in a human but not any where near close enough for a griever which made your home perfect.

You make your way through feeling the cold cement press against your back. Once on the other side you met the marvellous wonder you called The heart of the maze. It was stunning, there were crystals scattered all over the cave, they glowed and shone bright like the stars in the sky. You found peace and comfort in the beauty of this cave. However that doesn't mean you still don't have times when you think back all those years ago. When you could remember Newt and Alby when you arrived in the box. How kind they were to you compared to all the other boys that slowly appeared. Sometimes you look a crystals and they remind you of them.

You look through your supplies, noticing that you might need to find or make new clothes. Food was never a worry, there were many exotic fruits that grew on the vines around your area. Once sorting through all your stuff you finally decided you might as well call it a day. You made your way over to your make shift bed, curled up and went to sleep.

(a couple hours later)

"Help ME MINHO!....MINHOOO shit!!!" you heard shouting echoing through out the maze. Sit up quietly sneaking your way over to the crack popping you head out. "THUD THUD THUD!" footsteps?..no its a Griever! You quickly start trying to locate where the commotion was coming from. You peak around a corner leading into section 3, you couldn't see anything till something caught your eye. Two eyes staring back at you from under some vines in a cut out hide away.

You head quickly starts whipping around looking left, right, up and down. Before you finally made your way over "Hey come on we can't stay here forever." you yank them out and start tugging what you now knew was a boy back to your hide out. "Wait please we must find my friend!", "He ditched you i don't see why you wanna go back for him" your voice was laced with venom. The boy looked a bit upset.."Fine but don't be surprised if i leave you behind." A smile appears as you follow him further into the maze. You did not like this idea one bit, Grievers where crawling all over these parts of the maze. But Surely enough you find the boys friend a muscular asian guy, he looks very tired and weary. "Alright follow me" you wave them over, "Wait who are you?" the buff boy asked "Thats can be answered later, if you wanna survive the night i suggest you focus..." he grew silent.

You successfully reached the wall crack without bumping into anymore Grievers. "After you" you gestured towards the entrance. The two looked at each other a bit sceptical. "Fine i'll go first!" you step through as the others closely followed behind.

"WOW this place is amazing!" The buff boy stated out loud and proud, "How could i have missed such a beautiful place?" both boys look astonished at the sight before them. "Do you live here?" one of them asked. "Why of course how else would i have survived this long" you chuckled flopping down on your bed of fur skins. "My names Thomas..whats yours...um if you don't mind me asking" the boy looked down shyly. "Y/N my names Y/N". The buff one's face looked shocked"..no way! Are you THE girl from the Glade! You name's engraved on our wall!!" the boy looked very very excited ecstatic even. "Sorry how rude of me my names Minho" he smiles softly. "Its fine and yes i was from the glade...thought it was a very long time ago." Both of them smile brightly at you. "We have heard stories about you Y/N" Thomas spoke. "The Glader's say that you ran into the maze when your only just 13, they said that it was your own stupidity that was your greatest down fall. And nobody even thought about the possibility the you could be alive." Thomas now looked a bit sad speaking such harsh words.

"Well you know what Thomas...there a bunch of assholes!" you huff. Minho chuckled in amusement "You could say that again". "Come with us back to the Glade Y/N!" Thomas pleaded. "NO!" "Why not?!?" Thomas questioned. "Cause...i don't want too! If i wanted to go back there i would have done so a long time a go!" you state sternly.

"I heard about how some of the boys treated you in the glade, and im truly sorry. But things have changed and im sure everyone would be happy to see you." Minho chimed. "How did you two even get stuck in here in the first place.?" Thomas laughs at Minho's sharp glare "It's cause this Greenie wanted to go sight seeing...in the maze!" he says sarcastically and a very annoyed tone.

"Well lets discuss it over some dinner shall we" you get up walking deeper into the cave to go retrieve some vegetables, meats and fruits.

The boys eyes lingered on you, "She is so important to the people of the glade and she doesn't even realise it ." Minho states "I agree, i think she gives us a good fighting chance to get out." Thomas responds.

You came back with some bowls of nice warm stew. The three of you sat eating, laughing and just genuinely enjoyed each others company. " Oh um feel free to sleep on my bed" you spoke. "What about you?" Thomas looked concerned. "Im not sure but ill be fine" you smiled. "No please stay it makes me feel bad" Thomas pleaded once more. "Fine" you were starting to think that Thomas is annoying but he means well. Which in return made you smile.

As the finished there meals you took there bowls and asked them to get comfortable on your stash of fur rugs. When you came back of course they made room for you and it had to be in the middle. Thomas pats the spot encouraging you. You made your way over and proceeded to start curling up in furs and trying to drift off to sleep.

10 minutes pass and Minho's sleep soundly. You could now see his features. You admit Minho was decently handsome and his personality was charming. "Hey..." you heard Thomas whisper grabbing you attention. You turnover towards him "Hey whats up Thomas?" Thomas eyes looked beautiful in that moment, you could see all the pretty colours around the cave reflecting. "I am the Greenie back at the glade, i ran into the maze too and im probably gonna get into a lot of trouble....my point is you and me are one in the same." you stay silent continuing to listen. Thomas leans closer resting his forehead on yours. "Y/N i just wanna hold you...i know that might sound strange but since you dragged me out of those vines i can't help but marvel at you." you smile a big wide genuine smile. "You look pretty when you do that" Thomas commented he slowly wrapped an arm around your waist pulling you closer to him. You didn't fight it, his chest was very warm and surprisingly strong. "This is your safe place, if you ever need it feel free to come find me" Thomas said finally looking back up into your eyes. To your surprise Thomas kisses your cheek, then he slowly goes for lips and starts progressing down wards. You can feel passion and love admitting from him. He kisses you softly along your jaw line, neck and collarbone. "All i want is you Y/N...."

how you met: you were in family video one day, just hanging out and distracting your best friend, robin, from her shift one day. you were browsing the shelves and calling over to her to ask how different movies were when you heard the bell on the door and a voice. it was eddie.

his first impression of you: you were quiet. why were you so quiet? what was going on in your head? eddie immediately became obsessed with getting to know you and cracking the code of who you are. ESPECIALLY when robin made you laugh with a stupid joke and he saw you cover your mouth and your eyes widened as you giggled. HE wanted to be the one to make you do that.

how you got together: turns out you talked more the more you got to know someone. and eddie loved that. he, of course, found this out because he charmed you into hanging out with him more. he could listen to you talk about any topic on the planet for forever. anything you talked about had him intrigued. he was especially interested in the fact that you were a vegetarian. i mean, how cool was that? eddie was never a huge lover of animal products anyway, so he actually decided to try being vegetarian himself, which excited you instantly. you decided to have him over to make a vegetarian dinner for the two of you, and you asked eddie to get something from the fridge. he went over to grab the ingredient, but as you looked at the recipe on your phone, you felt a strong pair of arms wrap around your waist and hold you tight. you blushed and turned around to ask what he was doing, when eddie smiled and kissed you on the nose. he couldn’t tell how you felt about that, so he instantly let go and started apologizing, but you just giggled and reached out to grab him hand, letting him know that him doing that was perfectly fine, and that he could kiss you on more than just your nose if he wanted. he grinned and took advantage of that offer right away.

what he likes most about you: your sense of style! eddie actually didn’t start wearing rings until he met you, and he instantly loved the ones you had. as a fidgeter, he really thought they were perfect, and instantly took to wearing some himself. (he also gets you some too ahsdjk <3) he also loves your quiet boldness. even though you’re a pretty reserved person, you aren’t afraid to be yourself and he loves that about you. physically, he is OBSESSED with your eyes. he could study them for HOURS because of just how gorgeous they are. the specs of all the rich colors?? he didn’t even know there were that many hues in existence.

what you guys enjoy doing together: eddie thinks that you being able to speak french is the coolest thing ever. he wants to learn to speak it too, so you start tutoring him, and you make him this cute little book of vocabulary and everything. on your birthday, eddie comes over and grabs your guitar from the corner of the room and surprises you by singing you a cute little love song he wrote in french for you (very surprising, as cute little love songs weren’t his style, but you brought out something new in him that no one else saw except for you). other than music and french, you guys often talked and planned for the day that you would both leave hawkins and explore the world together. nothing made you happier than seeing the gleam in his eye as he got excited about traveling the world with you. it was adorable.

bonus headcanon: when eddie realized that you got sensory overload from smoke, he swore right then and there that he’d NEVER smoke around you, and he’d try to cut back in general. you thought this was sweet of him, and you actually bought him some candy cigarettes as (somewhat) of a replacement. not that he smoked cigarettes as opposed to weed often, but he still appreciated the gesture. (and so did you!)
