QSMP Day 40 Lore Summary

Today it will be a long one since so many things have happened, including the mysterious kidnapping of the eggs and, more importantly, the addition of Brazilian streamers to the server. WELCOME WORLD TO QSMP!!!!

We start the day around half an hour before the actual event started, with everyone logging in expecting to spend some more time with their eggs before fighting whatever was coming for them, only to find them and their beds were already gone. This, of course, prompted them to panic and they all reunited to discuss what had happened, somehow ending up with the whole group at Philza's house.

After a while, they get interrupted by a cargo ship crashing into the train station due to a storm. Everyone goes to investigate and they have to make their way through a bunch of monsters until they arrive in a cabin with new Brazilian members trapped. According to them, they crashed the ship because Felps tried to drive without having a licence. The group has to introduce a code in order to let them out and they the Brazilian members introduce themselves to everyone else.

With their new addition in the island, all members go to the adoption centre were English and Spanish members introduce themselves to the new members and afterwards they go Bad's Pizzeria to party and interact with one another. During this time Philza somehow managed to become Forever's sugar daddy by accident (I swear that's what happened, they used the words "sugar daddy").

After a while, Quackity took the Brazilian to have a tour around the island and explain them the history of everything that has happened as well as show them all the buildings, though Forever left after a while to go with Philza. And while all that was happening, Slime transformed into Gegg and finally met Mariana and got him to adopt him. This family dynamic lasted for about five minutes before Vegetta killed Gegg for hitting Foolish and his body revealed him to be Slime, so now everyone knows his true identity.

After some more time, Maxo opened Las Casualonas and everyone reunited there to party (it went exactly as you could expect). However, they were soon interrupted by the QSMP Federation announcing their eggs had been returned in the adoption centre. Everyone immediately goes there to check for them, but they can't find them until Philza discovers them all in the attic. They find all the eggs alive, but they all have cracks. Soon everyone would find out they feel weak and scared, being unable to wear an armour until after a long while, and none of them remember what happened to them.

On the bright side, though, a new egg has appeared, wearing a yellow and green T-Shirt like what Brazil's football team's uniform looks like. All five Brazilian members decided to adopt this new egg and called them Richarlyson. Slime and Mariana low-key have a fight with them to try and kill Richarlyson but they failed so afterwards they tried to fight for their custody. Bobby also started fighting Richarlyson.

Meanwhile, Quackity went to Philza's place to try and get Tallulah to (forcefully) take care of her. However, Bad had already warned Philza since he heard Quackity when he was searching for Tallulah, so he was already prepared and kept shutting him down while adjudging his basement to be Tallulah's room with the help of Bad, Fit and the eggs. Quackity's plan then changed to build a prison with Forever and they want to jail Philza for "rejecting Forever's love and kidnapping Quackity's daughter". They also got Cellbit to join them, but he didn't really believe Quackity, so he went to question Bad about the matter while secretly warning him Quackity was listening.

Cellbit and Quackity have an argument about the eggs and after Quackity jumps from the wall Cellbit allows him to have 1% of Richarlyson's custody. Richarlyson holds now the record of having the most parents of the whole server with 6 parents. Quackity was then adopted as a Brazilian too. They also surprised Cucurucho spying on them.

Also, as last relevant thing, Richarlyson died (yes, already) and Cellbit asked Bad for help to cover it up and blame the Census Bureau for killing them. Luckily, though, their life was forgiven due to this being their first day so they still have two lives.

I think a lot about the fact that Herobrine as a creepypasta initially was not malicious at all. Like literally he was just some guy who made very specific tunnels, cut leaves off trees and built pyramids in your world, all weird things but really not harmful. Like his worst crime was telling someone on a forum to fuck off when they kept talking about him. But then with time there's been all this additional detail added on like the redstone torches and traps and shrines and he's seemingly gotten more aggressive as an entity within writing and other media. Like he'll actively go out of his way to hinder the player in game or in some depictions irl in some way. All of this is to say I think the more we tried to figure out Herobrine and shit the more we pissed him off a little. Give the man some space I'm sure he's tired of the 12 year olds trying to summon him every other day. I think Astrid Hofferson has a bad case of the 'my childhood was wasted, I grew up too fast for something ultimately proven pointless.' Syndrome and that she deserves to get to do silly things she missed out on and take up new hobbies, even if she's not particularly good at them–it's purely for the experience yknow, and learn to finally breathe no longer needing to be on constant high alert and get to be truly happy

You do know you DON'T have to tag Marcille/Falin in the relationship tags of your fics?

Especially if your story is mostly just center on Laois/Kabru or Laios/Chilchuk or etc. If the girls are just mentioned to be dating or something and not even remotely really part of the story you really don't have to clutter up the Marcille/Falin tags with the fic if it's not about them.

ngl I might get crucified for this but I think the dunmeshi yuri/yaoi discourse was stupid and misrepresenting the ao3 factoids. as of today the most written for mlm ship is labru with 69 (nice) and the next most popular has less then half that at 31. meanwhile farcille has 125 out of the 154 F/F ships in the tag. it is by FAR the most popular ship, with the next two most written about sapphic ships being marcille/izutsumi (9) and kiki/namari (4) and also a couple of x readers? so farcille dominates by far

it seems to me that what's going on is that several mlm ships are in rotation in terms of popularity whereas farcille dominates as the singularly popular wlw ship.

and this doesnt mean that the issues people were bringing up about the general lack of sapphic content and the way fandom treats female characters aren't valid, but idk man when farcille fanart is cropping up daily and getting thousands of notes and has about twice more the amount of fics that the most popular mlm ship on ao3 has its like. I dont think this is really a fandom that proves that point.

I would like to see some more variation in smaller wlw pairs to make up the difference though! I dont think I see any tade/izutsumi fics and we need to change that they could be so cute.

SO! Long time coming updates but here's how I'll roll from now on to hopefully avoid stressing myself out with big numbers all over again:

On Tumblr. 𓂅 01. I'm going to softblock everyone who hasn't attempted to interact ic with me since 2024 started! Huge numbers stress me out and as much as I adore reading you guys' portrayals, I unfortunately think my mental health will thrive more if I keep my dash solely to the people I actively write with. I'll start sbing people this Monday, so if you want to write with me you have until then to shoot me an ic ask or tag me in a starter or what have you! If you don't and I sb though, you're free to refollow whenever our muses mesh better and you think we'll write together, absolutely no hard feelings involved! Maybe we can't come up with any interesting ideas for our current muses and that's okay, who knows what the future holds! 𓂅 02. On the note of writing. I'm going to go through my inbox & drafts and clean out everything I don't have muse for, and then on January 2025 I might clean my inbox out entirely, which means whatever's still in there 4 months from now will likely be purged to allow me to focus better instead of constantly scrolling through hundreds of asks I can't bring my muses to reply to. Next year is going to be my last year of uni, so I'll try to declutter this blog as much as possible to help me remain active on here even while doing internships & writing my dissertation! 𓂅 03. I might delete some muses off my roster, namely those I rarely or never use, but if our muses are intertwined in any shape or form or if you ever feel like rping with them, I am willing to write them for/with you! Im counting this as an ask - you've picked... The Team Escope TDWT AU!

This is 100% based on both another AU idea i had in my head (Hbombs vs Alenoah TDWT final four) and a take on @/real-total-drama-takes about Eva being on TDWT.

The main gist is instead of Tyler and Sierra getting on Team Chris, Eva and Izzy do, and the team is instead called "Team Escope". Alejandro's already a bit thrown by his team's general chaos and by Noah's presence (since he was Chris's assistant during the taping of Total Drama Dirtbags, a show Chris briefly tried filming that got cancelled before the mid season.), but he starts warming up to them while he tries to work on getting the other teams eliminated.

However, things don't turn out how he'd hoped since Team Victory, lead by the surprisingly competent duo of Lindsay and Harold, isn't failing nearly as badly as Alejandro expected. In fact, Harold makes it to the merge, and we get a final 7 of Alejandro, Noah, Eva, Harold, Heather, Gwen and Courtney (Heather was eliminated previously, got back during Niagra Brawls).

Gwen and Courtney get the double elimination, Noah and Alejandro aren't on amazing terms currently, Harold and Heather are seriously teaming up and seem to actually be friends, and Eva mostly just hopes she's still got a chance to win. After African Lying Safari where Alejandro and the Hbombs got immunity, Eva gets the boot; Harold and Heather want Eva out since out of the two she's the better player, Alejandro voted Eva because he wants to kiss be in an alliance with Noah, and Noah and Eva voted for Noah (Noah because he lowkey wants out and thinks he's going out anyways, Eva because she still wants to win and knows Noah would probably understand).

After Drumheller, Harold gets blown up and is booted instead of Alejandro (who had gotten the most votes. Even Noah voted for him.). Heather's trying extra hard to get in the Final 2 now, especially since she's motivated by the power of friendship now and Alejandro and Noah are still dancing around eachother (in a way similar to what happends in Slippery Slopes) Until they all reach Hawaii and Heather and Alejandro are both participating in the Tie-breaker for their last shot at competing in the final challenge. Alejandro wins the tie-breaker, they do the final challenge, kiss at the top of the volcano and Noah wins the season.

I think in general Eva being in TDWT would cause interesting changes in the dynamics of Team Escope since she's much less trusting than Tyler and even stronger than him, although she does have a weakness for pretty boys (bisexual moment). I think Alejandro in this AU has to rely on his team's strengths wayyy more than in canon, and in turn actually befriends most of these weirdos. keyword is most (he's still not a fan of Owen).

OTHER BIG CHANGES ARE:

-Tyler straight up does not compete

-Obviously Harold making it to the merge with her mad skills

-Trans Harold is real, she comes out mid season lol

-DJ, Lindsay and Harold are the team Victory trio for a couple of episodes

-Cody gets eliminated in episode 3 instead of Harold

-Owen gets the boot in episode 10

-Heather gets booted in I See London

-Sierra and Duncan both get eliminated earlier, both pre merge :

Sierra gets the boot instead of Tyler in canon maybe? Gwourtney happends in this AU so they don't vote for eachother and instead for her.

Duncan just does NOT mesh well with Team Escope's entire dynamic. Eva doesn't like him because of course she wouldn't, Noah doesn't like him because he's a dick in general and Alejandro doesn't like him because his borderline obsession with bullying Harold is costing them challenges + he's friends with Courtney in this AU too so that's an additional reason to dislike him.

-i uh, i haven't thought about when Izzy gets out? maybe she's the last out before the merge? but she does have to kiss Eva before that happends soooo (i AM inserting Evzy in this and you can't stop me)
