Sometimes I just wanna be the folklore of a small town

I wanna go off into the woods and live on a huge ass plot of land Stardew Valley style with dozens of animals and the gremlin children I've adopted and turned into a little goth army with me as their gothic cryptid parental unit. Yet here I am. Flipping burgers at midnight just to make my half of rent. At least the roommate and I have a demon of a cat to compensate for lack of reaching those dreams.

If anyone needs me you can find me in one of many places, the forest at 2:42am, the creepy fog in the fields and any time of night, the shadow realm. I can be summoned with monster energy and some salt and vinegar rice snacks.

Does anyone remember being asked, as a kid, what they wanted to be when they grew up?

I remember at one point my answer was "Dinosaur" because my brother and I had a dino magazine when we were younger and we thought it was the coolest thing next to Time Warp Trio.

Then I went to a gem and mineral show and I SAW a dinosaur and was so petrified, I immediately started bawling the second I got near it.

Still thought they were cool, tho.
