The really unfortunate part of knitting is that if i want to make all the really cool, complicated cardigans i keep bookmarking, then I have to actually learn how to do all of the cool and complicated techniques and like, actually improve my skill level.

todays concepts to grapple with are “accept Done over Perfect” and also “change is an inevitable constant”, both are very good sentiments that will better my life when i accept them, but it also means not restarting my crochet project and to stop staring at my face so hard in the mirror, and ima be real both of those r suck

You know, one day i was thinking about the mechanics of sewing and I realized I can only sew in one direction and that has fucked me up ever since.

I think I need to get a white board so I can write a big list of all the things I want to do, that I can stick up somewhere prominent so I can regularly see it and then when I actually do stuff I can cross it off or rub it out and feel accomplished!

unpopular opinion but i actually really like both heels and platforms. like yeah obviously platforms are usually more comfortable but heels can honestly be pretty comfortable too, at least for me n my high arched feet!

plus if they're shoes that fasten well and dont slip off easily, i can run in them (i mean as long as the ground isnt insanely uneven, and as long as im not getting the heels stuck in sewer grates lmao), i can jump in them, i can dance in them! heels are so fun and they make me feel good.

and platforms also r so fun... its like walking with your own personal floor

+ flats are stupid like you could have that exact same shoe but put on a thicker sole and make it platforms and suddenly its like 10x cooler sorry i dont make the rules
