I need advice

My mom tell me that after finishing my primary school I can buy myself... a fish

I wish to have a fish

I was thinking about bettas (a species of fish, idk if that's what you call them in English) because they're easy to... 'keep alive', or algae eaters (again - idk if that's what you call them really in English. I'm using translator) because they look sooooo cool

But maybe there is actually that one person - is there any more types of fish good for begginers? I probably but myself one fish at first, so I need one that don't have problem with being alone.

I know I can write in internet, but asking here because I hope someone on this site however had experience with domestic fish and can recommend me one

was writing about lake sturgeon for a class assignment and showed one of my friends what i'd written.. he then sent part of it back to me with line breaks to turn it into a poem! i just had to draw something for it :]

lake sturgeon don't know that they're endangered. They don't know anything - other than the muck at the bottom of the water column and the occasional passing touch of another.

really touched by how my friend turned my technical writing into poetry. i haven't tried to write creatively in months, so it's nice to see i've still got it- and nicer still that i could get so inspired by my friend, since i haven't made nature art in a little while, either :>!!

Since Percy can talk to sea creatures, I'd like to think that one day he passed a pet shop with all these fish screaming at him in agony. Since then there has been a giant aquarium in cabin 3 with fish. He converses with them daily when he's at camp. He gave them all names (they were delighted to hear his suggestions).

There is one grumpy grouch that always tries to eat as much food before all the other fish. He has to keep him forcibly apart in a tiny water ball during dinner. He named him Zeus. Percy doesn't give a shit. Poseidon knows and thinks it is hilarious.

Chiron, who takes care of them when Percy's gone, cannot understand them but he doesn't like the way they look so judgemental. They are very much gossiping about him to his face.
