Just playing with an Idea:

Naranja Academy is having a fundraiser and Arven decides to do one of those where you get to cut off some of his hair for donations. As it is getting pretty short Penny decides to pay to give him the Fuckboy Fade TM.

And Director Clavell walks around the corner and sees Arven, looking like fucking Turo and after a minor (metaphorical) hearattack, it clicks. Sada never told him who Arven's other parent was, but here he has an almost replica: Arven. It explains why Turo just disappeared during Sada's maternity leave- turned in his notice, took all his vacation days, and was gone within 48 hours. And then no comment from Sada on it ever.

Arven is none the wise, but raises a good amount, and runs around with the buzzcut for a while, with Penny/Nemona/MC constantly asking to touch. It takes time but it grows out nicely.

Sorry but I just don't understand how anyone is shocked. Truly what has that woman ever done to successfully convince people that this is out of character for her. Like I don't want to diminish anyone's pain or anything but I see all these stans on here and over on Twitter in all this distress, having their very first epiphanies like "Hold on . . . does Taylor . . . suck??" And I kinda just have to chuckle at them cause like bless your hearts babes, but omg catch UP 😭

Lol because 1) she is a severely emotionally stunted person who thinks edgy British "bad boys" are hot like she's 12 years old, 2) she has no true deeply-held moral principles outside of issues that directly affect herself, and 3) truthfully, she seems to be suffering from a serious crisis of identity after the end of the longest and most significant romantic relationship of her life, and in my opinion is pretty clearly desperate to prove something to the world/her ex/herself.

The first reason is cringe but not news to longtime viewers, the second reason is pathetic but also not news (to those who can be honest with themselves), and the third is . . . understandable in some sense, but not pitiable enough to make me willing to humor this insufferable little episode she's having. I wish her luck on this humiliating rebound journey, but she is gonna have to walk that road on her own.

Normally, I always roll my eyes when people make these kinds of jokes, but given the circumstances I feel justified in saying: I can't wait to hear the breakup song about him, sis 🤡

It's okay, the comments themselves were no skin off my nose, but I wanted to share them because it's wild that the SK fandom has been subject to this kind of behavior for over a decade now, and all because we dare to ship Sasuke with a girl other than 🌸 Just as you say, it's unacceptable. Even more so because SK is a tiny fandom as it is, so it seems kind of pointless to direct this kind of vitriol at the handful of people who produce fanwork for it lol

As for 🌸's writing, it's funny you mention that because I'd argue the issue is that she comes across horrible in canon whenever she is around Sas. My goal was to write her in a way that is as close as possible to the way Kishi wrote her, and the truth is that around S, 🌸 loses her backbone and becomes needy and insecure, more than happy to take anything he is willing to offer, despite how little it may be. That's the way it was up to the Gaiden, and so that is the way I wrote her, though I would've much rather kept the girl she was at the beginning of Shippuuden, back when I was proud of her lol
