just finished my first read of little women and i will never be the same

#literally cried so many times it reminded me why i love literature so much #the book felt like a warm hug it made me so happy from start to finish #watching the 2019 movie rn and crying profusely once again #new personality trait acquired i can’t #it was such a perfect fall time read for me like it just gave me so much comfort and joy #beth march… my sweet girl i have cried over her character repeatedly throughout the day #also it was for a class and my prof has been telling us all how louisa may alcott was prob a lesbian and been encouraging us to read #the book with an open mind to the idea of jo being queer/gender queer and i just… love him so much for that #he is a cishet man but the most fierce ally ever #anyway that’s all i have to say for now but i might have more as i think about it in the coming days #talk time #also timothee chablagoo as laurie… makes him so much more naturally charasmatic than what i picked up from laurie in the books #like laurie in the books at least in part 1 feels like such a fumbling mess of a boy #but in the most endearing way possible #but timothee makes him charming from the first time him and jo meet #maybe it’s cause he’s objectively attractive idk 😭 or maybe that’s just him but yeah that’s just a lil not #saoirse as jo… oh my god she is so beyond perfect i can’t handle it

literally in the process of starting an adhd evaluation and i'm like "hey maybe you're autistic haha. wouldn't that be fun. bc remember that you stim and you're exhausted by social situations and you have unexplained sensory issues and you get all your social skills from fiction/peoplewatching and and and" so i looked into it a bit

raads-r score: 106, autism is considered at fucking 65

cat-q score (related to masking): 128 compared to nt score average around 109 at the highest and 99 overall nt average

#this is not necessarily a new thought but like. jesus fuck man i really got hit w the brain weird beam huh lmao #and fucking obviously im not gonna decide im 100% for sure autistic by way of the internet but i cannot say this doesnt track for me #i cried as a BABY when my parents tried to put my hair in pigtails bc it just felt bad. i walked on tiptoe for multiple years as a kid #i have literally never understood how people just Do Socializing #i KEPT A JOURNAL to watch kids in my class interact bc i was convinced there was a formula that would make people like me #and if i could just figure it out making friends would suddenly be as easy for me as it is for everyone else #idk! doesnt really sound super allistic to me #levi.txt #and yeah ofc this could be caused in part by my adhd #but those two disorders are comorbid so.#anyway! having a very normal one over this #explains the months long burnout ive been going through i guess
