So, I’m thinking about the immortal au (obsessing, casually)

And I’m really into Good Omens, and I was thinking about the way that Aziraphale and Crowley’s relationship is often shown through various non-chronological flashbacks to different points in history besides the present-day storyline.

This came to mind because I was thinking about if this au were written as a fic, this format would be really cool to see if the hypothetical fic took place around the time leading up to m/c somehow claiming the dca from the pizzaplex with the flashbacks being from before/when m/c meets the dca. (I hope that makes sense)

I can’t really call myself a writer so I’m not sure if this is a good idea or not but I’ve been thinking about this premise a lot and thought I’d share.

Ooooooh that's great!! It's an interesting idea for sure, kinda like intercalating (is that the word? Idk english is hard. Consider mixing) the two arcs (which would be pre/during-pizza plex and post-pizzaplex)

I think about flashbacks a lot regarding the 'mc' but whenever I think of them is more like. Things lost in time, from places of really, really long ago

Them making a vague comment about how some random king was a wise and kind leader on his time, smiling softly as they remember how great of a friend he also was, and how they both would gaze down the grass field and talk about nothing and everything

Them mentioning not liking something to the dca, trying their best to not think of the specific situation centuries ago that made them to this day still be scared of it

They are the carrier of the memories of people who've been lost on time and history, who keeps them alive by remembering them, telling their stories after they are long gone. Kinda dramatic but it's like holding onto a drawing your old childhood best friend made you back when you were kids and that you still cherish despite having lost contact ages ago

They've loved those people with an open bleeding heart time and time again, which reflects on their relationship with the dca today and all the things they don't quite tell them

I always think of flashbacks of important relationships that marked them like fire to the skin, which narrative-wise I guess is also kinda interesting- but idk

But I really like your idea too, for sure is smth I'll keep in mind if one day I get to sit down and sort out how will I write this thing

Lies of P (2023)

#I finished lying and penising for the last time…#I got the game for my PS5 after 100%ing it on game pass bc I was so impressed and obsessed I needed to get a physical copy #so I obviously had to 100% it again and I hilariously forgot to read a letter to unlock an achievement #so I had to play the game a FOURTH TIME since you only get the letter at the end and restarting the game wipes all letters from your bag #but that let me do something I LOVE doing with these shorter games #which is putting the effort to give these characters the best endings their quests allow #so I can leave the characters in the world with as much peace as I can #I also did this in majora’s mask with my final run of the game being about doing every single side quest I could and beating ever boss #so that termina would be as peaceful as it would be once the mask was destroyed and skull kid freed #that being said wearing the alidoro mask led to an unintentionally hilarious semi final cutscene #a tear is supposed to roll down your face at one point but instead it was just a completely still super close shot of the dog mask #and I burst out laughing like nooooooo #luckily I’ve scene the ending like 3 times already but can you imagine if that was the only time I’d seen it 😂#I one rounded nameless puppet this time I truly felt like a god I’m so grateful for neowiz for making this game its been so fun #even after beating it like 7 times I know I’ll be playing it again one day and I’m gonna be a preorder ho for the Lies of series #the DLC and sequel can’t come soon I’m so in love with this game I need to eat it #Lies of P #video games #lies of p sophia #lies of p carlo

1) Three non-romantic duos: Hmmm...brotps I adore would be Jack and Daniel (SG-1), Sam and Daniel (SG-1), and Lune and Matsen (Jade Torch -- is it cheating to use my own book??? xD) If that's cheating, then Sam and Frodo (LotR).

2) A ship that might surprise others: I kinda ship Link x Mipha from BOTW. I like Zelda x Link too, but something about Link x Mipha is just so sweet and tragic. I like that they knew each other for a lot longer than Zelda and Link knew each other.

Let's be real. I don't have a lot of crazy ships. Although, in SG-1, I do ship Vala x Tomin (but I also like Vala x Daniel).

3) Last Song: Shackleton by Adam Young

4) Last Film: My parents and I watched Hitched for the Holidays last night. Very funny romcom with Joey Lawrence. It's a Hallmark movie from 2012, so just before they all got so unbelievably cookie cutter/copy+paste with their plots.

#i am in a massive stargate phase right now #i almost put john and rodney as the third brotp but i wanted to include something non stargate #and seriously. i am enjoying the x-files SO MUCH!!!!!!!!#the alien episodes are my favorite and i wish there were more of those and fewer of the ghost/spirit ones #but oh well #and can i say? mulder and scully's dynamic is perfection #not just how they trust each other or tease each other but how they physically behave with one another #the acting choices seem very deliberate #mulder wears his heart on his sleeve and i am living for that #and he's big on touch. not in a creepy way at all #but he's constantly putting his hand on her shoulder or gently placing his hand on her back to steer her #so much of it is 100% unnecessary for the scene so it feels like very deliberate acting choice regarding the character #and it doesn't phase scully a bit #even in the first few episodes when they've only known each other a few months or less she has no issue with how familiar mulder acts #again. i need to emphasize---it never comes across as creepy just really cute and tender #i really really like how she is SO TINY compared to him and i think his physicality and protectiveness is emphasized by that #but at the same time he knows she's fully capable #he seems protective of her but not in a demeaning way. not overprotective. just lots of chivalry and honor #that's something that seems totally lost in media today: men who want to protect women just because that's what they should be doing #and women who let them #too many women get bent out of shape when men try to be gentlemen #women have tried to wipe out chivalry and then they turn around and complain about toxic masculinity 🙄#but mulder is a wonderful gentleman and i love watching him and scully #tagged #sorry for going off in the tags but i've been wanting to rave about this stuff for a few days now xD

FUCK. I hate having to make adult financial decisions.

#the problem is. TECHNICALLY I've been saving to move out #but until my monthly pay is 1. stable and 2. a lil better that is simply not a sustainable achievable goal #and now . i have enough money to actually afford lasik.#which i want very badly bc i hate wearing glasses cause it inhibits me doing activities i love and enjoy #but equally i fucking HATE spending money like i cant comprehend things being more than like. £100 #and this would be a 4 figure sum of money #thats. too many figures. and i feel like i shouldnt ever use it for something that isnt life threatening #but also it Would enable me to like... go to gigs. perform. work out. manage my migraines.#i just cant bring myself to spend money on a large scale. i remember not too long ago when i had less than £60 to my name in the world #having the ability to spend money on something just For Me thats more substantial than. say. a £30 gig ticket #is absolutely foreign to me #and it makes me sick with fear that if i ever spend it ill be two months from risking homelessness again even though #logically i know im in a stable home right now #anyway!!! poverty is traumatic as fuck and if jobs paid a real living wage for a weeks work maybe i would be able to be normal about this!!!
