I'm still struggling to think properly after the insane finale we had but wow. I am just sooooo amazed by love for love's sake. I genuinely thought it would end in a similar narrative as 'night has come' and that myungha is literally inside a game made by his senior but oh boy was I wrong.

myungha said in episode seven that he doesn't really know how to act when he likes someone and this entire 'game' that is now known to be his afterlife was basically created for him to realize that he can't love others if he doesn't learn how to love himself first. I guess the previous episodes' terrifying scenes were made for myungha to just get it because even the characters telling him directly that they want to take care of him wasn't enough for myungha to realize the truth. but now he gets it and understands it; now he went from being the care giver to someone who gets being taking care of. cha yeonwoo's happiness isn't the only priority anymore because tae myungha deserves to be happy too and now he has people who will make sure of that.

also side note, I genuinely loved all the parallels in the last episode. the narrative shifting to 'make tae myungha happy' and yeonwoo being the one looking for his 'fav'. it's genuinely like 'if myungha is happy, yeonwoo is happy and if yeonwoo is happy myungha is happy' and also. the sea parallel. it was so beautiful to see that the place that encapsulated the end of myungha's life and all the pain his been through to become somewhere he could be at ease with all his loved ones. i could genuinely just write another post about those scenes alone and maybe i will because I'm not ready to say goodbye to the show yet but nevertheless...what a beautiful story. it was genuinely an honour to watch it.

When do Valeria and Laswell Finally Say “I Love You”?

Valeria: It would take her a while to say it. I mean, once she’s with you, she’s already smitten, but she says “I love you” in different ways that aren’t just saying those three words. Valeria courts you with lots of gifts, that much is true, but the closest thing you’ll ever hear from her that resembles a “You have my heart, I love you more than the sun loves the moon, than the ocean loves the land” would be her spending a day with you where she isn’t spending copious amounts of money on you. But that’s not what you asked. Valeria will tell you that she loves you when you’re feeling insecure since she never says it, but on her own accord? It would likely be a year or longer into your relationship, on one of those nights where the two of you are lying in bed together, just talking about your lives, what you’ve been through and how it’s shaped you as people. Just venting your worries, voicing your appreciation for each other and how you’ve helped one another. It’s during such a night, when you’ve gone quiet for a moment, that Valeria would hold you close and tell you, in a voice softer than what you’re used to normally from her, that she loves you.

Laswell: Like Valeria, she shows her love for you through different means. While she may be a gift giver as well, she also shows you how much she loves you by doing anything you may or may not ask of her. From chores, to walking your pet, to cooking you some stew when you’re sick. Laswell doesn’t say that she loves you from the get go either, it would take her several months to a year for her to say it. But when she does, it doesn’t seem like a special moment to anyone else. You’re probably hanging up your freshly washed clothes while she’s sitting at the table, a cup of coffee in hand. Laswell would get up, give you a kiss on your cheek, and tell you that she loves you so very dearly. She was overcome with adoration for you during that moment and needed to show you that she loves you. It’s afterwards that you get a lot more I love yous from her. Not on the daily still, but they would be more common. She will always, and I mean always, accompany her I love yous with some form of affectionate gesture, regardless of whether it be a kiss to your temple, a hug from behind, or a small lovely rose she found in a flower shop. You will always be taken care of and loved.

TOH headcanon (human au edition)

but it's just Luz and Hunter cause I can't get enough of their sibling relationship (+mentions of lumity and huntlow).

Hunter's parents died in an accident of sorts so he went to live with his uncle when he was just a baby. He was homeschooled by him but he was allowed to play in the forest next to his house.

Luz loved to explore and play adventures in those same woods, so it was just a matter of time until they met each other and quickly became friends.

Maybe without his uncle's knowledge, Hunter would spend entire afternoons at Luz's (Camila definitely let him stay for dinner on multiple occasions) She knew something was up but she didn't want to accuse anyone of anything without solid proof.

One day shit hits the fan. His uncle basically ends up kicking him out of the house and without knowing where else to turn to, Hunter goes to Luz's with a single backpack with whatever he had time to grab.

At this point they're quite young (8-10 years old maybe) so they don't really understand what's going on but Camila tries her best to make him feel welcome and safe.

There's obviously some sort of legal procedure to sort everything out. It's a very hard moment for Hunter but he knows that everything will get better afterward.

Camila offers to take him in so he stays at Luz's house and after a couple years, she talks to them both about making Hunter officially a part of the family.

Luz had some problems at school because she was a bit different and didn't get along with the other kids. Camila thinks that since Hunter has to start school too, they could just enroll somewhere else and so they do.

They're like 12-14 at this point so maybe a change of scenery is all they need.

Hunter learns basic Spanish from Luz and the scary owl app.

They start together at a new school and Luz starts to feel like she fits in better. Hunter is socializing with other people his age for the first time since he met Luz and everything seems to go great.

They both make common friends with Willow and Gus, then later with Amity.

Luz and Hunter have typical sibling fights because Luz always eats the last strawberry yogurt when she knows that's Hunter's favorite dessert. Or when Hunter plays video games too loud and Luz can't focus on whatever she's doing.

But sometimes they hang out in each other's rooms. Hunter secretly loves spending time in Luz's room just hanging out. He doesn't like being alone for long periods of time even if he can't explain exactly why.

They sometimes talk girls. Luz brings up a boy or two at some point. But they both end up realizing who's crushing over who so at some point "talking girls" just meant talking about Willow and Amity.

They're just happy having finally found a place where they belong. Some had to fight a bit more to get to it but, in the end, everything fell into place and that's what matters.

I knew teaching at a bigger school would be difficult but I didn't know I would be so affected by the kids...

I treat the 8th graders like high schoolers (I always have), like a LOT of them are already super tall and already looking the part. A few days ago when the teacher in charge of lunch detention came by, I gave the name of the noisiest kid. This kid, still being his noisy self, gets up and says 'oh its not fair' etc, but when he looks at me, he looks like he's abt to cry 🤡 and I immediately am like 'Or you can promise me not to disrupt class tomorrow and I won't send you' which he obviously accepts

Meanwhile, I'm also spending my days waiting for this one kid to smile at me again at some point or else I can't let go of my guilt of sending him to the principals office ;_; i feel like I betrayed him and he'll never smile at me again 😢 When he had come back from the office his face was red and his eyes were all watery and he was trying his best not to cry and like... I feel so gutted man to see that especially because they don't look like babies anymore.

I know they've just become teenagers and every emotion is so big and everything feels like the end of the world and I cannot bear to see these kids about to cry, especially not because of something I did. But at the same time they're the ones refusing to sit down and can't hear anything I'm trying to teach because the rest of the class is being so loud, and distracting. I can't just do nothing about that! Or else how will they pass the standardized exam at the end of the year? Sigh.

Hey there! Sure you can! I've been in the mood to write something for Price anyway, so this came at a good time ^^

Fluff Alphabet for Price

A ctivities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

On the one hand, he really loves going out to do something with you. Something along the lines of the occasional short hike, taking care of your shared garden or even just taking a stroll through the city, taking in all the sights and finding new ones you weren’t previously aware of. Those are things he likes to do when he’s been home for a while now. However, if he’s gotten home not too long ago then he’d much rather just stay in and sleep a little bit. Will want to cuddle you or just have you be his background noise. Don’t be mad at him if he dozes off while you’re watching a movie together, he’s just extremely tired and needs that rest.

B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

He admires how resilient you are. Price knows that life isn’t easy, that it always makes an effort to throw one impossible thing after another at you, but you never seem to give up. No matter how rough life gets, no matter how often it knocks you down, you always get up, dust yourself off and continue to smile. Even if it really took its toll on you, you strive to make your life better. Although it may get you down when you’ve had the worst day of your life, you still won’t stay down forever. You do what you can, and that’s what Price loves about you.

C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

When you’re sad he’ll give you a hug, provided you’re okay with it. He’s a very good hugger, his hugs are very comforting and warm. Afterwards he’ll put on your favorite movie or series and watch it with you. If enough time has passed and you still feel down, then he’ll cook something you really like. Although he knows he can’t make the sadness go away forever, he’ll try to temporarily cheer you up. If you need to talk, if you need some advice, he’s also your man. If you have a panic attack then he’ll try to calm you down by taking you to a location with few people. Price can talk for a while if he needs to, so he’ll ask you to focus on his voice. Might also give you a rather simple task to take your mind off of things, such as counting backwards from 100.

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

If it’s you, then he would forgive pretty easily, as long as it’s not something too big. If you accidentally knock down a mug he likes, then he might sigh and be annoyed, but he’ll forgive you. If you cheat on him, then he won’t. He’s usually calm and collected, even while fighting. Sure, he could be aggressive towards you and snap at you, but he loves you, so he tries not to. It’s sort of obvious when he is annoyed, his sentences become much shorter and he’ll actively try to get away from you. Won’t yell at you, won’t do any erratic movements either, but if he’s too angry then he’ll simply walk away from you until he’s calmed down.

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Yes, he is aware and he is very grateful. How could he not be? You have the patience of a saint when it comes to him. He knows it’s rough to be with someone who is part of the military, he’s away more often than not, but you still decided to stay with him. You cook for him when he’s tired, you draw him a bath when he’s sore, you reassure him when he feels like you deserve better than him. You’re so much more than what he deserves, he doesn’t feel like he could ever repay you for everything you’re doing for him. He tries, though, but it’s never enough. Price could give you the universe and it wouldn’t suffice.

H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

Aside from the obvious, such as military intel, he doesn’t really hide anything from you. Price doesn’t see the point in keeping secrets from you. You’re together, aren’t you? You deserve to know just about anything about him. He might not tell you everything from the get go, but once you’re close enough you can ask him about anything. You wanna know about his time as a private? Sure. How he came to be a captain? Yeah, he can talk about it. Just ask and he’ll likely tell you. But in the same vein he hopes that you trust him enough to tell him just about anything as well.

N icknames - What do they call their s/o?

He doesn’t really use very many nicknames. Just the classic ones, such as “love”, “sweetheart” and “dear”. Sometimes he feels the urge to call you “sunshine”, but he usually represses that since that’s what he’s called his soldiers before. As much as it would fit you, he tries not to bring work home. He likes to call you by your name too, though. But aside from that there’s nothing he really calls you.

Q uirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.

He can keep calm in just about any situation, so he won’t lash out on you. He has an air of authority to him, so it’s not too often that someone is being a dick to him. And that extends to you as well. Price is a well respected man, so not very many people will come up to you and demand something from you. You, too, will be respected by most people, he’ll make sure of that. Regardless of whether you’re shy and timid or loud and boisterous, no one will bad mouth you. Price can fight, he will protect you. He will also fight for your honor if he needs to. He may have self restraint most of the time, but no one should ever talk badly about his partner.
