posting twice bc i have no patience. Anyways. My account has been swarmed with so much that weve forgotten who owns this house.
Reminder he’s cool. And REALLY freaking talented with weapons. Definitely the most versatile out of all the others weapons wise.

Can you tell us more about your oc? They(?) look really interesting!
SORRY THIS HAS BEEN SITTING IN MY INBOX FOR A FEW DAYS AND IVE JUST BEEN FORGETTING TO ANSWER!
but doxa is just- a bastard man. hes an (approx) 3500 year old vampire that time has likely changed for the worse. he isnt necessarily mean but he is incredibly self centered and conceited and has difficulty understanding the perspective of others. To him, hes the Most Important Person Ever. there are only a few people that he genuinely cares about- even so, hes still extremely social and fun to be around and will compliment people if something about them catches his eye. (that being said, he has no issues using people for his own gain) Hes very much a hedonist and is incredibly spontaneous in his actions when he isnt scheming something.
WHile he doesnt think much of humans (being that it would be an issue since he has to eat them to survive jhdjgjhd), hes still very much fascinated by their culture over the years and has a vast collection of human things. he also has a collection of the skulls of vampire hunters that have come to kill him that he toyed with and now uses for decoration being the dramatic guy that he is.
At some point in the story he realizes how deeply his actions and words have hurt the few people he cares about and also starts to deal with his issues little by little-
other little facts about him:
hes picked up various hobbies and such over the many years hes been alive such as book binding, refurbishing, cooking, etc
he can play the piano and pipe organ
hes one of the original vampires that sprung up on the world a few thousand years ago
he owns a lot of silly clothes (like a worm on a string jacket)
drives a hearse with a "milf moblie" sticker on it
head of a coven
his main "job" is going to other covens and making sure that theyre doing alright and not getting wiped out by hunters
has a beautiful (nearly)7 foot tall romatic partner named dragana who holds all the braincells of the relationship
gender truly means nothing to him anymore. he'll go by any pronouns. people just generally call him "he" and he goes along with it
actual dad
probably tips really well tbh
my voice claim for him is aurelio voltaire... at least for his singing voice
so uh- to sum it up, hes a dramatic, chaotic, stubborn bastard

Ive been reading Splinter in the Blind Mans Eye and ok. First of all, Lloyd has some serious issues. But we all knew that. What I came here to talk about today is one of those specific issues that is highlighted in this book.
His responsibility as the Green Ninja.
Listen, Lloyd has been feeling the heavy mantle of being the Green Ninja since he wore the gi for the first time. Hes been feeling the pressure on his shoulders from the ripe age of 9 years old, according to the book.
And the Ninja have been doing everything in their power to hold that away from him, to share the burden, to block him feom the full weight that could crush him. Theyve been doing that since day one, not letting him go on missions and expressing how upset and unfair it was during Childs Play when Lloyds fate accelerated.
And in the later seasons, when Lloyd takes on the mantle of being leader, they do their best to share that burden. But each time he disagrees, reminds him hes a leader, and takes on the full weight of being what Fate wants him to be.
The interesting thing is in the Wildbrain seasons, when Lloyd seems to change his mind, and let them help. While he might be making overall decisions, he tends to let Cole and Kai take over the emotional responsibility of being the leader. He allows himself to be babied sometimes. He lets his brothers and sister carry the weight of the world every once in a while.
And in SitBME we see why.
Lloyd was pushed to the edge in the MotO trilogy. He was put through things that messed him up and he’s slowly coming to terms with that. He put so much weight on himself as the Green Ninja that it was so easy for Harumi to get into his head, promise peace and understanding, and abuse him through it. He realized that his family was his strength, and while in SoG he was pushing them away constantly to go his own path, he now realized that he needs them.
The Green Gi may be a symbol to many, may be a source of strength, of responsibility. But the wearer is only a child, put through things unimaginable, sacrificing his life so that others can have theirs. Its unfair, he was paying a price that he didnt even understand, as the book says.
Lloyd realized he deserved more, in a sad way.
In Wildbrain he’s healing. Slowly, but surely. He puts trust in others, lets himself be a kid—something his siblings GREATLY encourage. He is broken, in a way. He is less trusting, and as he said himself—angrier. MotO took a toll on him, Hunted took a toll on him. But he is trying his best to heal. He is realizing that he is more than his gi, that he is a baby brother, a son, a nephew, a child. His whole purpose in life might be to be the savior of the world, but why cant he do that while playing videogames with Kai? While rambling about Starfarer to Jay? While eating candy with Cole? While learning to cook with Zane? While running with Nya?
He has fun more. He leans into his family. He accepts their hands and their swords by his side instead of behind him.
And that, my guys, is character growth.

i think for me part of the struggle of enjoying toshiro is how his flaws are actually really interesting and i like to think about them as i analyze stuff, but its literally become the same as how it feels for people who like laios where like there's a gut feeling of being defensive... i want to be able to talk about this stuff and the commentary of his character without that looming sense of hate, where it feels that if i acknowledge if something is a flaw its just going to make people hate him more, instead of being interesting or sympathetic, yknow? it makes things harder when i'm trying to be objective about it, a sense of guilt almost, and it makes me feel sort of frustrated when people can't see the same things that i do, where the things i find compelling in a character might be the same reason people hate them... cus it really gets tiring, even though it's, y'know, its fine if people don't like him. the odds are pretty much stacked against his favor on here. but i feel like there's a difference in talking about his issues as someone who cares about him and knows his character inside and out and in people who can't seem to even get all the details lined up to have any sympathy for his situation. but its okay. because in my heart ryoko kui is speaking to me and thanking me for analyzing every last bit of her guy with care even with his very unfortunate spotlight
