You know normally I don't really care what someone's reason for not liking a character is because like. Sure why not go ahead I don't care. But I do think it's stupid to hate robot and AI characters just because of how AI is nowadays. That's literally just a little guy what did he do to you. He's not stealing your art or anything. Zane from Ninjago did nothing to you. Little Hal Strider did nothing to you. Mr Hal 9000 is not going to take your fanfiction and mush it together on character ai. What are you talking about

Hello!! I followed you for your absolutely amazing Twisted Wonderland comics (thank you for making them, by the way-) but I saw you posting about something called Ride Kamens? I haven’t heard of it before, what’s it about? Or if that’s a bit much to ask, where could I find more info about it? It seems right up my alley 👀

Ride Kamens is still doing prerelease marketing and isn't out yet; it's set for "early summer 2024", so a bit yet to go! similar to Twst, it's a mobile game about anime boys loosely based on an existing franchise (Kamen Rider), although it seems like it's going to be more standalone/won't require familiarity with Rider going in.

the (very) basic premise is that your player character has just taken over their late father's role as a secret agent, supporting the city's superheroes by running a secret base disguised as a cafe (plus you have a personal butler for some reason) (the reason is because it's amazing). you also have to help the heroes regain their lost memories, and it looks like it'll have a bit of a route/choice aspect there (not romance, just different endings to the character episodes depending on what you do). the details are kinda hard to tell at this point but the characters seem like a really fun bunch; there's definitely big "idiots with emotional problems" energy which I am extremely into.

all the official info is in Japanese only at the moment, but here's the website and the ride_kamens twitter! (though the twitter is sort of overtaken by posts about the AnimeJapan exhibit right now, whoops.) and I believe some people are already planning on doing translations for it too? lots to look forward to! :D

Swear to god this will be the last post I make about it but they finally address the whole 'south American' lostbelt thing only to 1: keep calling it the wrong location 2: still not get the right location

Like I need them to be so serious right now, it's not like the Aztec and Mayan civilizations weren't spread through Mesoamerica but they were not primarily Central American and all the named locations in this lostbelt are named after places in Mexico! Which is in North America! Which is very explicitly not part of Central America!!

Hello. I'm not moving on from how fucking sus Whit was in this entire trial

Ok I'm very much sick and tired /pos of Whit always ending up being fucking sus. Because I just realized four things that makes me glare at Whit in the context of this entire trial.

-Whit was the most addament that the secrets didn't actually matter (outside of his weird call out of Levi). In fact when the secrets stop being a subject he complains about it.

-Both of the things Whit was weirdly stingy about (The letter and David's secret) were both things that didn't actually matter that much in the trial. Without either of the information there would still be the decisive evidence of the tape and rubber band being used for the murder which would've always lead to Ace being proven as the culprit. David's secret only ended up causing the cast to believe he did it and the note ended up making people get the time of death wrong.

-Whit actually ends up giving the biggest push in the trial that would lead to Ace being discovered as the culprit which is him helping Teruko discover how the murder mechanism needed to have worked. This is the one time where he's weirdly extremely useful and vocal in the trial.
