Bruh, he even have a Keffiyeh-like pattern feature in the climax (although it looks more like a checker board but I think the resemblance is a bit uncanny, don't ya think?)

Sabine IS the best Mandalorian character of all time and I won’t accept any substitutes. She literally has it all. She is a punk tomboy lesbian who changes her hair and armor every season. She also has by far the coolest and most unique armor out of all of them, literally no contest. Her story arc is so good that another show just blatantly ripped it off. She defaces fascist propaganda with graffiti. Said graffiti is done with explosive spray-paint and she blows people up with it. She’s voiced by Mishti from Phineas and Ferb. Her father is voiced by Shang Tsung. Her ex-girlfriend is voiced by Vixen. Her brother is like the only fictional character I know of that has the same first name as me. Of all the people to use the Darksaber she’s the only one we know of besides Tarre Vizsla himself to have training from a Jedi Knight. She spray-painted the main villain’s personal assassin while he was unconscious just to humiliate him. She’s the reason Wedge Antilles joined the rebellion. She defeated the Imperial governor of Mandalore. BOTH of them. Darth Vader deflected a blaster bolt into her face and she lived to tell the tale. She told an art historian she was smarter than him to his face and she was right. She literally created the symbol of the fucking Rebel Alliance. She’s gay, she’s asian, and she’s popular. She is truly one of the characters of all time.

i wanted to make a (slightly more) proper post to explain why rooster teeth decided to just leave their main twitter up as an archive, but the thing is: i don't know why they did that. almost nobody does!

they just edited their bio and dipped!

funhaus and dogbark's account bios updated to say the same thing, that they're still posting on instagram and tiktok, and the stinky dragon account made a proper tweet about it with the additional social media platforms they're on, but all of these accounts offer no information as to why they're now inactive on twitter. a guess i have is that it's a combination of their engagement numbers just naturally declining over time and the mountain of issues twitter has as a platform, especially after musk took over. however, these are just my personal speculations because rt seems so allergic to sharing anything with their audience lol

i do not get the insistence that tumblr sexymen “gotta be pathetic” like. not. really??? bill cipher and sans undertale, classic sexymen who are known for being incredibly overpowered. wheatley and onceler, characters who started off a litte/very pathetic and grew to be overpowered. There is perhaps an aspect of patheticness, especially angst, but they tend to have genuine power behind it.

Before any of y'all could begin to dunk on Olly, may I remind you all that Israel once urged the BBC to pull out Olly Alexander for petitioning against Israel's participation in Eurovision since last year.

I get what Queers for Palestine is urging him to do but to put him in the pedestal ALONE like that and not call out for all the other artists (or at least the other LGBTQ artist) is just so infuriating. And the worst part of it is, whatever he does will not be enough for them. He already release a statement and it wasn't enough for them (it had likely gone through many revisions in order to get past the BBC). Had he remained silent, people would start accusing of of being complicit despite the fact he's been vocally pro-Palestine from the beginning.

Also, I feel like people are not getting the financial and legal consequences of him or any of the other artist just withdrawing all willy-nilly especially since they are all under contract with the broadcasters*. Like, some of them might be working part-time job, some like Silia are still in High School, some literally have music as their only source of income and we all know that's not enough to cover the legal fees and potential lawsuits that would entail. Also, there's a huge risk of being blacklisted, not only in the broadcaster from ever returning to the song contest, but also in the entire music industry, which is already hard to enter/make it. On top that, poorer countries like Albania or Moldova just couldn't afford to do that and jeopardize everything.

It's literally just impossible to win.

This whole mess is a lose-lose situation where nobody but Israel wins. Like, if they do withdraw, that's exactly what Israel wants because less competition for them. But if they compete, that's also what Israel wants because it meant validation of them being there even thought everyone wanted them gone.

All and all, this is literally the EBU's fault by allowing Israel compete in the first place. They literally created a impossible situation where, one way or another, the artist will be thrown under the bus.

Tl:dr... BLAME THE EBU, NOT OLLY!

it's so funny (read: sad) that if bigoted fuckheads didn't insist i was a woman simply by virtue of my body at birth, i'd probably be chill with she/her pronouns in addition to he/they. if my mom didn't insist i was her daughter, i'd probably let her call me that, and we could still have a relationship.

i'm nonbinary and 'gendered' words are hypothetically meaningless, but because there are so many people who are more interested in telling me who i am rather than lovingly and curiously letting me express my own sense of self, those words carry trauma.

there's no reason a nonbinary person like myself can't be a son and a child and a daughter. there's no reason a nonbinary person like me can't go by he, they, and she.

'she' is not a slur. 'daughter' is not derogatory. 'beautiful' 'pretty' 'gorgeous' 'feminine' are not insults.

to the contrary, they're parts of language that express certain facets of a multi-faceted human existence, like mine.

and i have this sad, mournful feeling that if it weren't for unloving, condescending people, i'd probably be down to be called any of those things alongside my usual masculine/neutral terminology.

but i'd rather die than let anyone tell me what i have to be called.
