LH: No, I'm pretty...spontaneous! I think it's an interesting journey. It's definitely not what you thought it would be. As a kid, when you see people on TV and you're like 'oh, it must be cool! this must happen, having money' all these different things but it's not all great! I think over time you just learn how to handle it. Ultimately, at some stage you realize that it's not really about you. It's a platform to do good. So, if you just have the right intentions, you can actually have a real positive impact. I think that's probably what it's mostly for.

Fuck it! Expectant Parents Mareach post. Putting this one under a Read More to hide my shame. Y'all were warned.

(But actually thank y'all, I wanted to get this out of my system so bad 😭)

✨ The first person Peach tells isn't Mario, but Toadsworth. She wants to surprise Mario with the news and is willing to wait until later in the evening, but she wants her surrogate father to know right away. Mario spends the rest of the day wondering why Toadsworth can't look at him without suddenly having to excuse himself, only to burst into ugly-crying one room over, but he decides it's probably not good.

✨ And of course he's incorrect! The news doesn't come out of nowhere; they've discussed it in the past, and recently they've decided they're ready. Now, when I say recently, I mean recently. The biggest surprise is that she's already pregnant.

✨ "Can't blame a girl for being eager!" Daisy jokes. "Making the baby's the fun part, after all." Before Peach can smack her hand in retribution, Peasley adds in, all too casually, "If the red one is anything like his brother, then I certainly understand that enthusiasm." Peach threatens to revoke their titles of Uncle and Honorary Aunt if they don't stop talking immediately.

✨ You know the ending of the All Stars version of Lost Levels, where Peach covers every surface inch of Mario's face with kisses? Peach ends up on the receiving end of that, a lot. That's his wife! She's carrying their child! She's beautiful and strong and perfect! And if he doesn't kiss her a thousand times right this instant he is going to spontaneously combust! Peach laughs through the entire process because his mustache tickles, and that makes it even better.

✨ Also, her feet like never touch the ground the whole pregnancy. The second she mentions her feet being sore or touches her back with a small wince or even just makes a face that looks anything other than content, Mario scoops her up and carries her wherever it is she's needing to go. She stops trying to protest a month in.

✨ To that end, keeping her comfortable throughout the process is a role Mario not only falls into flawlessly, but absolutely adores. He runs hot bubble baths for her every other night because royal work is taxing when you're simultaneously growing an entire human, he rubs her feet while she eats tiramisu in bed because it's 2AM and she woke up crying she wanted that particular snack so badly, he uses his Firebrand to soothe all of her aches and pains on command, and it's some of the most fulfilling work he feels he's ever done.

✨ They decide eventually that they want their child to know Italian fluently (Peach is still trying to learn it, and what better way than having both a husband and a child to hold her accountable?). So nearly every night, once Peach is comfy in bed, Mario will lay his head on her stomach and have one-sided conversations or sing a few songs; since she doesn't get to hear him speak in his native tongue at length too often unless she requests it, Peach is enraptured the whole time. She even has him teach her a few of the simpler songs so their baby will recognize the language in her voice as well. Any time Mario catches her singing one of those songs to herself, hand on her belly and gentle smile on her face, he melts into a puddle on the spot. Cue the face kisses.

✨ Mario decides pretty quickly that they're having a girl. He starts addressing her stomach as (la nostra) principessina, his contributions to name ideas are all feminine or neutral, and Luigi and Peasley jump on board too, discussing all the ways they're going to spoil their niece rotten, because a princess deserves no less! "What in the world are you going to do if it's not a girl?" Peach asks Mario one night. "I'll love them all the same!" is Mario's response. "...but I'm pretty sure she's a girl."

✨ When Peach goes into labor, the head nurse argues against Mario's presence at first, because she insists an untrained man taking up space in the room will merely be a hindrance (whether or not that man happens to be King Consort). Mario bluntly tells her she'll have to drag him out herself if she wants him gone. The nurse is a Toad and Mario is over 200lbs, so she relents.

✨ The labor ends up being long and difficult and Mario doesn't leave Peach's side for even a moment of it. It's emotionally draining, seeing her in so much pain for so long and not being able to do much about it, all while staying calm and being as much help as possible, but his perseverance is a big part of what sees her through. All that collectedness goes out the window the second he's holding their new baby in his arms. Peach just gives him a tired giggle and pats his back while he bawls his eyes out.

✨ Mario was right! They have a little girl with her papa's hair and face shape and her mama's eyes and nose. And when he sees his new granddaughter for the first time, Toadsworth may or may not vow to commit war crimes for her should the need ever arise. Peach chooses to believe she's just hearing things in her exhaustion.

OOOOH that's. a hard question. and i feel like i don't wanna think too deeply about it because most of the time, the gut feeling is correct, so i'm gonna say my spontaneous thought: pigeons. especially city pigeons!! i have been wanting to be a pigeon keeper for years and years, and i dream of just going up to a group of pigeons in town and grab a couple, shove them in my pockets and walk away. i'm what you call #parentalgoals 😌 so yeah! when i have my own apartment in the countryside, i will have a couple of pigeons!! it's a dream of mine 🥺🥺

speaking of pigeons! ned's pretty easily scared, and having a group of pigeons flapping around him is a nightmare of his. one time, when he and sol was hanging out, before they officially had started dating (but the question was in the air) he got pooped on by a pigeon (just his shoulder, but still). he got so embarrassed, and wished he was dead, so he completely missed out on the romantic gesture of sol lending him his jacket because he was so obsessed with the thought of sol seeing him as pathetic or disgusting for what happened 😔

So I've been working on chapter 5 for the past couple of weeks here and there, but I've really tried to buckle down this week and I'm actually about halfway through it! Since the next couple chapters are already pre-planned out, I've got my list of plot points/scenes that I know need to be included per chapter. This chapter has 6 plot points/scenes and I'm planning on finishing off the 2nd scene and moving on to the 3rd today! Fingers crossed honestly, but Y'ALL I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS CHAPTER!! A lot is going to happen, and while it won't all be particularly Rhaemond based, I think it'll be super interesting! A lot of things will be set into motion and there's going to be some super tense and interactions between our big name characters!

Last chapter had Aemond tracking Rhaena down in Venice and it was so tense and sexual, just imagine that energy multiplied for this next chapter!! The ✨DRAMAAAAA✨ I'd say I'm about a quarter of the way through, there's an argument/conversation they needed to have at the start of this chapter that was really giving me trouble, but once I worked through it, things were flowing a lot easier!

This is such a sweet ask!! I love talking about my stories and the process of writing them!! Thank you so much!!

"Brother" (Yuuji x Reader + Sukuna x Reader) was a spontaneous idea. Usually, I love to write a softer version of Sukuna, but I thought that Halloween would be the perfect opportunity to finally write a truly evil version of him. I can't say too much about the story, though, because I don't want to spoil it. I am excited to see what people will think at the end. There are several ways to interpret it.

The song that I picked for this fic is "Pink Party" by Isaac Dunbar. I have it on my Itadori Twins playlist for another AU, and I love the vibe of it. This story starts at a party, and in my mind, this is the song that is playing in the background while Reader is trapped in the bathroom with Sukuna. The evil twin gets explicitly mentioned in this song, so it is really perfect ;)

"Mine" (Megumi x Reader) has been in my drafts for a long time. It was originally planned for a You collab (the tv show). But I never finished it. So when I saw my friend Loni make a Halloween collab, I remembered this story, and I thought it would fit very well. And it's a good motivation for me to actually finish this story finally.

I love taking a character like Megumi, who I think is a pretty good person in canon, and then taking one of their character traits or one of their super relatable insecurities and twisting them into something dark. With Megumi, those are his abandonment issues after his dad left him as a little child and after suffering the loss of several people he loved. I love the horror of seeing someone who started with good intentions lose control and become the villain.

I picked the song "King of Shadow" by Kat Cunning for this story. It is one of my Megumi songs anyway, and I think it fits this story very well. To me, it is a song about becoming obsessed with the person you love and refusing to let them go again, wanting to be as close to them as possible, wanting to know them better than anyone else could, wanting to be the only person who can give them a good life. Megumi sees Reader as his light while he is in the dark. She is like a goddess to him, like his perfect person, and he CANNOT lose her.

"Death's Bride" (Sukuna x Reader) was an idea I had when someone close to me was very sick, and I kind of needed a story about Death that was comforting to me. I once read an explanation about Sukuna's hand signs and that they are associated with the tale about the King of Hell, who judges the dead souls and decides which part of the afterworld they have to go to. I really love this idea and so I decided to write Sukuna as the personification of Death.

The song I picked for this story is "Don't Fear the Reaper" by HIM. I love their songs and the ongoing theme of death + romance in them, so this fits super well for falling in love with Sukuna as Death ;)

I can't really pick a fave because all three stories are very different, and I enjoy writing each one of them a lot. The Itadori Twins story is the darkest, in my opinion. The Megumi story is dark too, but in a different way. And the Sukuna story is actually pretty sweet, in my opinion.

Okay so. It's winter, FREEZING cold outside, not as deadly as it's on Dragonspire, but pretty close.

On your way to Diluc's winery you ramble grumpy words how much you don't like it when it's so damn cold that your fingers go numb.

As you enter his house, you are met with his gaze. He's a bit surprised by your arrival, but he can't say that he's against it.

Diluc sees as you try to take off your coat and helps you, gently brushing off snow from your shoulders and head.

He looks at your cold pink face and cups it gently in his hands, his gloves warm and cozy.

And you just. Stand there melting into his touch and jokingly purr, which makes him chuckle.

"It's cold out there, isn't it?" He brushes your cheeks with his thumbs, carefully warming up your face.

"Too cold," you mumble, lifting your numb frozen palms to meet his warm welcoming hands.

"Oh my, you are freezing," he chuckles again and takes your hand in his, making you follow him.

Glass on the windows got covered with frozen swirls and spikes, barely letting in the view of falling snow getting swept away by strong wind.

You looked up at Diluc from his shoulder, lazy smile forming on your lips. You lift yourself just a little to peck his cheek, but he turns just in time to catch your lips into a short spontaneous kiss. You grin into his lips and lay back on his shoulder.

He couldn't take you to Snezhnaya, not yet, but he wanted to show you how fun playing in the snow can be.

It took him a lot of talking and literal begging to visit Dragonspire at least once.

You lived in the warmness of Liyue for a long time and you didn't want to drop it like that.

Until Childe showed up with the warmest outfit he could get in Liyue. Did he make a special order for it? Probably. Did he regret it? He won't if you come with him on Dragonspire! :)

As you approach the snowy peaks, you can feel your shoulders get colder and colder. Soon you enter a little cozy cabin and get dressed. And you gotta admit, you felt a thousand times better with it on you than without.

Childe has a long coat over his usual clothes, his scarf poking between buttons. And, um, how did he call it? U-sha-n-ka? Ushanka! A weird hat straight from his home country. You saw Teucer wear one of those when he suddenly arrived from Snezhnaya and thought it looked cute on him.

On Childe, though... It barely covered his ginger hair and he probably just plopped it on his head so you wouldn't feel left out with that new outfit of yours. Same with the coat. He didn't even button it up! How is he not cold!

— Take that!

You quickly ducked and a snowball flew right past your head. Despite these clothes being unusual to you, they were pretty comfortable to move around at quick paces. Did Childe specifically ask it to be snowball-fight-friendly?.. You didn't have time to process the answer as a snowball landed on your head, shattering onto your shoulders.

— Oh, you! — you quickly made a round ball of snow and chucked it with full force, then immediately sent another one.

The first one landed on Childe's chest, making him lower his upper body slightly. As he glanced back at you, the second snowball threw off his hat from his ginger hair and painted top of his hair in snow, making him lose balance and fall dramatically on his back, arms spread wide.

You knew it was just him being a dork, but still came closer to him to check if everything was alright. Childe's eyes were beaming with excitement as he started laughing, loud and sincere laughter echoing through the snowy terrain.

— Can't believe you-- Just destroying me with precise shots like that, — he exhaled and a big cloud of warm breath escaped to the sky, — I may have underestimated you, comrade! — you hand him your hand to help get up from the cold snow. He takes it, but pulls towards himself, making you fall in his embrace as his sincere laugh breaks the silence of the mountains once more.

He liked cold weather. Moreover, it felt like he wasn't bothered by it at all. Almost as if his vision made him tolerate the impact of cold temperatures.

Same couldn't be said about you - you looked like an unpeeled onion with layers of warm clothes on you to keep you sane.

All because the heating system in Favonius headquarters decided to break and the only source of warmth were several fireplaces dotted around the building.

But there was a slight problem: they were mostly blocked by stacks of books from the library to prevent them from getting moist.

And that's what you were doing today: helping Lisa with a pair of other knights to move the books. Other knights went to their homes so they won't collectively catch a cold.

You stayed to help mostly out of respect for Lisa, not only because she was nice to you, but because she helped you get closer to the Cavalry Captain by setting you two up.

Kaeya was too damn fine you were afraid you were not good enough for him, but Lisa helped you through your journey to become his partner and you were grateful for that.

As you placed the last batch of books in the warm room, you couldn't help but try to get to the fireplace through the labyrinth of tall book towers, all tied with ropes block by block.

You felt much warmer as you came closer to the fireplace. You wanted to check if the books weren't too close to the fire. You wouldn't want the books and the whole headquarters to burn, wouldn't you? Both Barbara and Mona won't have enough power in their visions to put out the fire that grand.

You noticed an armchair near the fireplace and looked around. Surely nobody would mind if you relaxed a bit in it?

— Y/n? Are you here?

You heard a faint shuffling from behind, not paying attention to it at first. As the shuffling came closer, you felt chill air coming through. You opened your eyes from your hazy dreaming and smiled as you saw Cavalry Captain himself in front of you.

— There you are. I was almost worried that you left home without me, — he lowered himself to your level, finding your hands and grabbing them with his chilly fingers. He approached closer and caught your lips into a kiss, stealing your soul from your body as he always did.

— I would never, — you gasped for air when the two of you broke apart and Kaeya moved back a bit, rubbing circles with his thumbs on your warm hands, — I think I just fell asleep here. It's cozy; sitting in an armchair surrounded by books, a fireplace crackling right next to me.

— Mind if I join you? — Kaeya asked with a smirk and, not waiting for an answer, sat down on your lap, legs crossed over the armrest and his spine leaning on the other one, arm thrown on the back of the chair, around your neck, — You look so cute with bright pink blush on your cheeks. I can't get enough of you, — he gently grabbed your chin with his free hand and leaned in for another kiss.

I'm a they/he nonbinary person, I thought I was 5'7 but i guess I'm 5'8 according to my parents. I hope you like singing, because he sings for you. It's not often, and only when you're alone somewhere and he gets inspiration, (usually on one of your outdoor adventures) but it's one of his ways of expressing how much he trusts and cares about you. 

You and Dia are both staring up at a mushroom growing at the top of the wall of the cave you are standing in. Both of you are close to the same height, and neither one of you can reach it. But you can see how much Dia wants it, even if he doesn't say it. So you do the first thing that comes to mind. You start climbing the wall.

"You know I won't catch you if you fall," Dia calls to you as you slowly make your way up. You know he's bluffing.

"Well if I fall, and you don't catch me, I'm taking the mushroom down with me."

Dia gives a mock gasp. "You are too cruel!"

You climb the rest of the way in silence, just enjoying the adrenaline rush. You reach the mushroom, and once you pick it it illuminates the entire cave a royal blue color.

"Got it!" You call and work your way down. You jump the last foot, and land on your feet and in Dia's arms. You turn to face him, and grin. He starts to blush at the proximity, but tries to remain cool at the situation.

"You didn't lose the mushroom with that stunt did you?" 

You grin and give him a quick heated kiss, before running out of the cave, Dia hot on your trail.

It's Roy. Every single night I hold him. He likes to pretend he only "lets me do it" because it makes me happy but listen. If I don't he will not stop whining about it because he loves it. Roy does when he's showering alone and he really gets into it. It can be quite loud but it's great!

I am 5’5” (ish), with brown hair & eyes.

Things I love: Rainy days, early morning light, natural light, gentle sunshine-y (golden hour) days, stars, long road trips, hugs, cuddlllleeeessss, smiles, jokes, coffee, forests, big open fields with trees, music, and the feeling of coming home.

My aesthetic is: Light/dark academia, is there one for txts lo$er=lover & 0x1 love song lol??, beige, cream, brown, and earthy grays for colors.

My ideal date: It doesn’t matter 🤷🏻‍♀️ as long as I’m with some I love and what we’re doing is not outrageously illegal — but if I had to choose, it would be going to a cafe, talking about ourselves, listening to music, then going outside and dahncing in an empty parking lot to some random music we put on, and going home for cuddles, or maybe a library date.
