As it turns out, in Sengoku Japan, it was pretty common for women of the samurai and Daimyo classes to marry rather young (between ages 17 and 20), so in general, the warlords would be familiar with teenage moms, and (unfortunately) young, even teenage widowed moms...

But I thought it would be fun to write a headcanon where MC is working hard at her chatelaine/seamstress duties and the warlords have to take care of her baby for a day...

So...

Warlords taking care of MC's teething baby:

In Azuchi Castle...

Nobunaga - Baby is screaming while Nobunaga is trying to hold war council. Without missing a beat, Nobunaga grabs Bearsace off the shelf and nestles it in the baby's arms, and continues to hold the meeting while pacing and rocking it. Hm... maybe the baby would like konpieto...?

Hideyoshi - Do NOT give this baby candy, Lord Nobunaga. Sir. It is too young. He takes the child out of Nobunaga's arms and rocks and croons. The baby grabs hold of his hair and tugs, hard enough for it to hurt, but Hideyoshi less bothered by the pain than he is sad that he can't make the baby smile as easily as MC smiles.

Still the baby screams...

Masamune - Maybe it's hungry? He dashes off to the kitchen and prepares a bowl of very soft rice. When he returns, he attempts to feed the child. Baby spits the rice back out all over Hideyoshi.

Mitshuhide - Gets out his kitsune mask and plays peek-a-boo with the baby. The baby is momentarily entertained, and laughs a little, but the teething pain becomes too much for distraction, and it starts screaming again.

.....Outside the castle, Kicho, Motonari and Kennyo had been about to attack, but upon hearing the baby screaming, and figure the better revenge is to make Nobunaga live with a screaming baby inside the castle....

Keiji - Seeing that distraction worked before, he grabs the baby and begins swooping it up and down in the air.

(Very bad idea.)

Ranmaru - Walks into the room. Hears baby screaming. Turns around and walks out again.

Ieyasu - Don't you know anything about small creatures? The child is growing teeth, and needs something soft to gnaw on. He turns to Mitsunari and puts Mitsunari's finger in the baby's mouth.

The baby stops screaming.

Mitsunari - Is happy to have been of help, but... how long does he need to stand here with his hand in the baby's mouth?

Ieyasu - "Until MC returns."

At Kasugayama...

Kenshin - Offers to kill the baby to get it to shut up.

Kanetsugu - Snatches baby out of Kenshin's arms. "My Lord, I'm certain it only needs a little time to learn how to offer you the proper respect." Tries to use logic to reason with baby. (Baby continues to howl).

Sasuke -Seeing that Kenshin has pulled out his sword, he swoops in and grabs the screaming baby. He tries to amuse it by telling it science puns.

The baby's still screaming.

Yoshimoto - Walks into the room. Hears baby screaming. Turns around and walks out again.

Shingen - takes over the baby, and there is a moment of silence as the baby feels safe in Shingen's strong arms... and folllowed by unceasing infant fury when the child realizes that, there's no milk to be had here.

Shingen decides to find MC and bring her to the child for nursing, and he puts the screamer into Yukimura's arms and turns to leave... but... he realizes...

The baby is quiet.

It's happily nestled in Yukimura's arms. It's even sort of ... smiling?

"Yukimura? How did you do that?" They circle around him, wondering what the secret is.

Yukimura looks panicked... "I don't know. It... just... stopped crying?" He tries to give the baby to someone else, but they all step back, hands behind their backs. "No, no... clearly you have the touch. You just, keep... doing whatever it is you're doing."

As I have said before, I am listing Cybird Ikemen Series characters and their voice actors, indicating whether they've done R18 otome drama CDs and how I find their performances. I'm mostly familiar with Ikemen Sengoku, Revolution, Vampire, and Prince, but I'll include some Genjiden, Live, and Villains when applicable.

Since I've outed myself as an R18 drama cd enthusiast (connoisseur lmao), might as well lean into it completely 👀 This is going to be long, and nsfw language abound; MINORS DNI!!!! Please don't let this destroy your image of me lmao 😂🥹

Note on the distinction: R18 in this case is when you can hear the characters climax (voice actors use pseudonyms for these); some drama CDs are nsfw, but they cut off before the climax, so R15? R16? (voice actors use their real names here); sfw are just kissing, nothing spicy (VA real names).

Oda Nobunaga (VA: Sugita Tomokazu): None, sfw only. I don't know if I'd listen if he'd ever have one; he'll always be Gintoki and Kagerou to me.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi (VA: Toriumi Kousuke): None, also sfw only.

Akechi Mitsuhide (VA: Takeuchi Shunsuke): None, he's too young let him live purely a little longer lmao

Date Masamune (VA: Katou Kazuki): None, but I'm curious. He could do a Taniyama Kishou and dabble here and there 👀

Tokugawa Ieyasu (VA: Masuda Toshiki): Yes. Listen, I like his voice, I like to listen to his slightly raspy and husky voice. It's soothing to my ears. I like his sfw drama cds, the ones I've listened to. But his nsfw ones? He needs his kisses and sucking noises wetter. He needs to practice more *hinthint*

Ishida Mitsunari (VA: Yamaya Yoshitaka): HE HAS ONE OMG I listened to his samples once, I don't know if I'd listen to it again OMG MUKU MITSUNARI MY ANGELS i can't wrap my head around soft-voiced Muku committing sins

Maeda Keiji (VA: Sawashiro Chiharu): None. From what I gather of his personality from event clips, I think I'd like to shield him from sinning a little longer too lol

Takeda Shingen (VA: Umehara Yuichiro): None. I'd like to hear him though.

Sanada Yukimura (VA: Ono Kensho): None, sfw only.

Imagawa Yoshimoto (VA: Yashiro Taku): MY BOI. It's funny how he voices angsty and sad characters in ikeseries but HE'S SO CUTE AND WHOLESOME IN DRAMA CDS. I love him in Switching best.

Uesugi Kenshin (VA: Miura Hiroaki): I am averse to yandere characters, but in this one he did, he's a tsundere. NOW I LIKE KENSHIN BY ASSOCIATION. Miura's drama cd is one of my favorites, sad but romantic.

Sarutobi Sasuke (VA: Akabane Kenji): None, iirc.

Naoe Kanetsugu (VA: Nakagawa Akinori): None. I don't know if he's done sfw ones, but I'd be willing to listen to them, just so I can add more Kanetsugu voice reference lol

Kennyo (VA: Shingaki Tarusuke): Hehe. Hehehehe. Heh. It's been a while, I want to hear him again. Especially when he whispers against my ear amidst a packed train. I also liked his cute and flustered daycare employee cd. HA. SE. BAE.

Mori Ranmaru (VA: Aoi Shouta): None, as far as I know. I think he'd get a kick out of it, though.

Mouri Motonari (VA: Konishi Katsuyuki): None. He does sfw ones? How sfw are Cybird CDs?

Kicho (VA: Kaji Yuuki): None, but I remember he did a mature one where's he's like a yandere and a do-S and just whips you while laughing maniacally. I don't know, that was a long time ago. I didn't even remember if there were ever spicy scenes; I just remember the whipping lol

Ikemen Revolution

This game is, like, the treasure trove of R18 voice actors. 13 out of 17 have done at least one R18 drama cd. Well done, IkeRev!

Lancelot Kingsley (VA: Okamoto Nobuhiko): None, sfw only. He usually uses his cute voice for these CDs.

Jonah Clemence (VA: Hanae Natsuki): Yes, early on. I think he stopped after he married. Listened to two of his CDs, his voice is too soft for my tastes. He does good moaning and whining.

Edgar Bright (VA: Yashiro Taku): see Imagawa Yoshimoto

Zero (VA: Kumagai Kentarou): MY LOVE, MY CURRENT OBSESSION. He does desperate, drugged out, and angry-at-life so well. His moans and kisses are 💯 I prefer his boyishly youthful voice than his deeper one. When he hits that high-pitched whine *chef's kiss* He comes so prettily *dreamy sigh*

Kyle Ash (VA: Furukawa Makoto): What a man, what a voice. Personally I liked his earlier works because there were more variety in the plots and characters, but I think he works best with plotty CDs and/or emotional drama. Rouge et Noir comes to mind; REUNION for the drama. I enjoy the CDs where his voice is cooler, not too high-pitched, not too deep. He sighs when he kisses, and it sounds divine.

Ray Blackwell (VA: Shimono Hiro): He did a few early in the r18 drama cd years. I remember the one where he was a yandere butler. It was also a mobile game, but I didn't know which came first (I think the game). There was also that teacher x student cd. He also did Wasurenagusa as Todo Heisuke iirc.

Sirius Oswald (VA: Suwabe Junichi): None. This man was born with a velvet voice bUT FOR WHAT

Luka Clemence (VA: Enoki Junya): He has a recognizable voice (makes me think of aluminium idkw). He did an angsty incest one and a servant to a lady one. They're okay. His orgasms need more work, though.

Fenrir Godspeed (VA: Kakihara Tetsuya): Semi-active. My fave is the one where he's childhood friends with the MC and has a badboy/playboy rep but he's actually a virgin I think, or at least acts like a blushing maiden when he did it with the MC (who takes control of the sex). He's vocal in this one; he cried at one point because he came prematurely. It's funny and I love it.

Seth Hyde (VA: Murata Taishi): PLEASE. PLEASE LISTEN TO KOIBITO VS NIJIGEN VOL 1. HE'S JEALOUS OF MC'S OSHI LMAO IT'S SO META AND HILARIOUS I LOVE IT.

Harr Silver (VA: Terashima Junta): I'll buy any r18 cd this man makes, period.

Loki Genetta (VA: Murase Ayumu): He did one. Like Hanae, his voice is too soft for my taste. He did, however, once choked on a candy trying to emulate blowjob noises for a BLCD, I don't know what else to tell you.

Blanc Lapin (VA: Shirai Yusuke): CHAOTIC KING. A couple of times, he tried to insert objects up his ass, just to know what it feels like lmao. What dedication. I liked his first R18 otome drama cd where he's a submissive and breedable pirate subordinate (MC is the pirate captain).

Oliver Knight (VA: Hamano Daiki): He did some. Haven't listened to any of them though.

Mousse Atlas (VA: Toki Shunichi): He did one! Around the same time with Yamaya. At the time I was liking him for voicing Ginji in Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi. Haven't listened to it though. Also did a few more.

Dean Tweedle (VA: Wada Masanari): I don't think so.

Dalim Tweedle (VA: Asato Yuya): Ditto.

5 out of 17. Funny how this is the game where sucking and sexytiems are advertised and yet!

Napoleon Bonaparte (VA: Shimazaki Nobunaga): Not R18 ones, but he did some for Rejet? I don't know.

Comte de Saint-Germain (VA: Horie Kazuma): Yes, way back when, which explains why he's so good at ear-whispering. I only know he worked for one series (and sequels) where he's a tsundere student council vice president (?). A CONFESSION: I listened to his drama cds when I was writing That Comte Fic in order to capture the mood of the sexual tension.

Sebastian (VA: Morishima Shuta): None. After watching him in Cybird events, I'd probably laugh at him or pity him. I can no longer imagine him doing R18 based on his Cybird hyper host image.

Vlad (VA: Saito Soma): None. Shame. I really want to hear more of Vlad 😏

Johann Georg Faust (VA: Kamio Shinichiro): None. With his voice, I'd rather he read erotica to me.

Charles-Henri Sanson (VA: Kijima Ryuichi): He has one; listened to the samples, his voice here is same as Charles's. Actually, even the character looks like Charles lol. There seems to be a bathtub sex scene there. Or hot spring, I dunno.

Nokto Klein (VA: Eguchi Takuya): He did one a long time ago. It was a hentai game I think, the Queen Bee one? There's a drama cd for that. The characters are all insane if I'm not mistaken.

I'm willing to make a recommendation list if you ask 😂 He's prolific (!!!!!), I think he's done every character tropes – tsundere, yandere, ore-sama, senpai, kouhai, osananajimi, CEO, do-S, do-M, dom, sub, oniisan, and so on. He's so good and dedicated at capturing character tics?? He slurs his words when he's lust-drunk oh my god. He needs to do more do-M and/or submissive characters pLEASE I NEED IT

Tamamo (VA: Tamaru Atsushi): I got used to his cutesy voice that I forget he's good at deep voices too! My fave of his is Nochikare where he's a wanko-type kouhai, he's so cute there I'd smash a table from so much cute aggression.

Nasu no Yoichi (VA: Suzuki Ryouta): I know he did some before, heard a couple of his. Could've been better. (Tbf, this was during the time when R18 drama CDs were just starting out. So I think many key players were new to it, compared with BLCD.)

Kurama (VA: Morikawa Toshiyuki): I can't have Sephiroth whispering in my ear lol. That aside, I really couldn't imagine him doing R18 because he's known to voice iconic characters. And yet here we are. His Yamazaki Susumu in Wasurenagusa took me out because of his drunk line, "Nyaruhodo." I will never look at Sephiroth the same way again lmao. But yeah, I haven't listened to his works properly because they were made years ago.

Kitsuji Sueharu (VA: Komatsu Shohei): MY NEW FAVE, MY NEW LOVE, MY NEW OBSESSION OH MY GOD?! I haven't bought any of his works (WHICH I SHOULD REMEDY IN THE FUTURE) but from the sample of this one CD I – I JUST. H-He's good. I love the sound of his panting 😭

Ikemen Live

I'd like to mention here that I love KENN's character in Yuugen Romantica. It's not R18, but that is one of the few sfw drama CD series that I listen to and enjoy.

Chigusa Kyouichirou (VA: Itou Kento): Deep voice, cute high-pitched moans! Love him.

Fujishiro Meguru (VA: Kuroda Takaya): Haven't listened to his works yet.

Mashiro Kanade (VA: Fukamachi Toshinari): Only found one, and wow. Gosh. What an aggressive CD 😂

Shinonomi Eisuke (VA: Taniyama Kishou): Len Tsukimori 😭 It's been a while since I listened to him. All I remember is that he also did a vampire drama CD (LOL HE SHOULD'VE BEEN IN IKEVAMP) but I can no longer recall the details.

Ikemen Villains

William Rex (VA: Tachibana Shinnosuke): I AM SO FOND OF HIS VOICE. What's funny is that my favorite works of his are not R18. Wasurenagusa is probably my ultimate fave out of his CDs. Primarily because he used his ax crazy voice there. I AM LIVING FOR HIS AX CRAZY, MANIACAL VOICE. It's *chef's kiss* perfection. He also did one in Midnight Jiang Shis. But for R18 I like his Otona no Meruhen best. He often portrays do-S characters, but I want him to do more do-M.

Harrison Gray (VA: Sugiyama Noriaki): I know a couple! Girl's Therapist where he's a beautician and Otona no Meruhen where he's a tsundere wolfboy. He puts the uke in Sasuke huh lol Recently listened again to his wolfboy cd. It's entertaining enough (the story was more entertaining than the sex scenes lmao [but that's a given in Otona no Meruhen series]).

Roger Barel (VA: Eguchi Takuya): see Nokto Klein

Victor (VA: Takahashi Hiroki): I'm surprised he has one; haven't listened to it though.

I'm sure more of them have done BLCD, but I'm only familiar with otome drama CDs. Cybird drama CDs may have spicy moments, but since they're using the voice actors' names, I'm pretty sure that they don't include R18 scenes; hence, this list. If you know a voice actor who did an R18 otome drama cd but is listed here as not having one, tell me!

Hi Cath! Oh definitely yes, a lot of them in fact.

Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones: it was so chaotic but also so soft at the same time. It was a buddy read with @appleinducedsleep at the very start of this year and it was one of the funniest books I read. It's a new comfort book so I'll seek it out again definitely. Cannot imagine not seeking out disastrous, dramatic howl and sophie "throwing weedkiller in the face of feelings" hatter.

Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia: this one had my favourite horror trope, and I always seem out this specific trope, so will definitely end up picking it up again if I need to go through all the rage and catharsis again.

Funny Weather by Olivia Laing: it's a good collection of essays that I stumbled upon and honestly I find myself going back to the Ali Smith, A stitch in time and David Bowie ones a lot.

Meet me at the Museum by Anne Youngson: I haven't finished this one as of yet (almost near the end), but it's immediately so full of tenderness, so full of love, of memories and of ghosts of people they love through letters, that I just know I'll end up re-reading it in the near future.

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke: this is one of the more bittersweet reads of this year. It's something I would end up re-reading on a gloomy night.

One Last Stop by Casey Mcquiston: I've already picked this up again once, and I have plans on taking this with me everywhere next month. Such a soft sapphic book with so many characters I love and see myself in, it's another add on to my comfort books list. I'm so glad I picked this up this year.

Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto: okay so, this one is more of a cheat. This was not a new book this year, but I did end up buying the physical copy and reading it and annotating it, so yes, it sort of counts. It's comforting, it reminds me to be nicer to myself and that things will end up okay.

These are all I can remember so far, but still a longer list than I expected :')

And there went a perfectly good office chair. I sighed, not particularly surprised by any of this. Kenshin would use any excuse to fight, and Nobunaga had no problem stepping on little people to get to where he wanted to go, the fall of my company was only a testament to his corporation's grand take over. 

"You'll have to excuse Kenshin, that's just how he says hello," I smiled, hoping to get (YN)'s attention.

"A normal 'hello' would have been sufficient." (YN) scowled as they plopped back in their now severely mauled chair. 

"I beg to differ," Kenshin mumbled beside me.

"Sending (YN) to Larkspur sounds fine but what the rest of your plan?" I faced Nobunaga. Surely he didn't think to send them as they were, having no cover story was not sufficient. 

"It's difficult to say, due to their memory loss we're not quite sure what works as a believable alias. They could just wander the city claiming amnesia until they gather enough information to find Kennyo, but that's hardly efficient." Nobunaga mused, trying to figure out a plan. 

I stood and walked over to where (YN) sat, pulling a pouch from my pocket. "Hold out your hands, please." (YN) did so with caution, not that I blame them, but it still allowed me to drop sufficient coin into their hands. "Go into what's left of the market. Find something that catches your eye. We'll go from there."

It wasn't difficult to tell that everyone was confused by my gesture, but I had a feeling they would surprise us, and that they did. 

After nearly two hours in the market, they returned to the base with several bolts of fabric and sewing supplies. They had the brightest smile on their face as they scurried my way to hand back the change.

"Thanks, Yoshimoto! I think I walked past this stall about eight times before I went in and decided to buy something." They beamed up at me before dropping the change back into my coat pocket. I could help but smile. Brazen little thing. "This is going to be interesting and hopefully a little enlightening."

As fate would have it, they appeared to be a competent with a needle and thread, despite having forgotten who had taught them such advanced techniques. They now had their cover, and it would be significantly easier to integrate themselves and blend in with the crowd. 

"What might you be working on now?" I asked, wandering back into their room several days later to check on their progress. 

"I'm trying something new. I want it to be easy to move in, but it should also flow like the rest of the clothes in the capital do, yanno?" They answered, not looking up from their work and the photos Hideyoshi had provided. 

"I see, you do quite like sleeves, don't you?" Noticing that every garment that had made so far would carefully cover every inch of skin. 

"I've got lots of markings, I'm not particularly keen on showing them off, and I'm not looking for pity when I get there," They muttered, sucking on their fingertip after sticking it particularly hard with a needle.

"A valid point. I can see the logic, it's better to not have to answer too many questions while you're there." I smiled as I sat across from them. "Do you need anything before I leave? Tea maybe?"

"No, I'm alright with just the water, thanks though Yoshimoto. You've been awesome." Their eyes sparkled as they looked up, paused in their needlework. "I really appreciate all your help. Even if you don't think it's worth mentioning."

"It's the least I could do (YN). besides, I've always enjoyed the finer things in life, and your taste in fabric has been a welcomed reprieve from the dreary chaos this world has fallen into." I pat their head, twisting the soft strands of their hair. "May I?"

"I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but I trust you. So, sure." (YN) grinned as they leaned their head forward, continuing on their work and allowing me to braid their hair.

(YN) was given two weeks to sew a new wardrobe, a handy way to practice and showcase their skills when they applied for a guild in the city. The time had gone by quickly, and once they were ready, everyone who needed to, would leave. 

We had all gathered in the meeting room for one final de-briefing. It was short and sweet, and we would leave in waves just to keep our numbers in the crowd to a minimum. With everything packed, I stood beside Shingen, waiting for Yukimura to return with Muramasa's pack so we could travel home when (YN) called from behind.

"Yoshimoto! Hey, hang on a sec!" (YN)’s hand waved frantically, silly little thing. As if their shouting wasn't enough to get my attention. 

"You rang?" I smiled as the others watched the encounter. 

"Here, take this. I made it out of the scrap material you liked. It's not much, but I figured I should thank you somehow for all your help." (YN)’s eyes were full of stars as a smile split their face. Clutching the trinket, I placed it in my inner jacket pocket, confident I wouldn't lose it there. 

"Thank you, it's a very kind gesture and wonderfully crafted. I will cherish it." With one more pat to (YN)’s head, we were given our signal. "It's time for us to go. Stay safe, and don't hesitate to call one of us if you should need anything."

Nodding their head enthusiastically (YN) stood behind the door, I watched until I could no longer see them or the building. We were headed home. it was time to start some trouble.

Hehe thanks ^_^ I wanted to do something unusual and thought this might be a fun set up. So! On to the prompt - Yoshimoto, Soul, Hawthorne - defense, and Erato - beauty. Approx. 500 words

Yoshimoto held her hand as they walked through the forest. Her fingers lay lightly against his palm. He’d never given much credence to ideas of fate or destiny, to soulmates, but in her presence he felt he could believe there was such a force at work. How else to explain their meeting? It was an impossibility, yet here they were.

“You’re staring again,” she murmured, lowering her eyes to stare at the ground.

“It is hard to tear my eyes from your gentle beauty. But I am sorry to make you uncomfortable.” He looked away, letting his eyes go to their surroundings. The forest around them was alive with birdsong, the trees and bushes heavy with spring growth. “Ah, look there! Tsubaki in bloom.” 

She looked up and smiled. “They are so pretty! I thought you could only find these in gardens.”

“They can be cultivated,” he nodded, “but there are none so lovely or sweet as those that grow wild.” His warm gaze left no doubt of his intent.

“You -” she cleared her throat. “I don’t know why you keep saying such nice things about me. I really am just . . . ordinary. Plain.” She gestured to herself. “I don’t want you to think I’m special now and be disappointed later.” 

Yoshimoto trailed a finger along the edge of her jaw, stopping under her chin. “It is true, what they say. The blossom does not know its own beauty.” He wanted to kiss her. His lips ached for want of that touch, but he denied them. She deserved so much more than a fallen lord. His hand fell away.

She smiled, pleased but blushing from the compliment. Then she took a step toward the camellia bush, reaching for one of the flowers.

There was barely a heartbeat of warning. The slightest gleam of an obsidian eye. A motion in the dappled shadows. Yoshimoto’s fan darted forward, a flash of color, the gleam of metal. Then the impact. 

A serpent drew back, stunned from the impact. Eyes like smoke-dark glass watched them warily. 

“A snake,” she gasped, drawing her hand to her chest.

Yoshimoto nodded. “As I defend my exquisite flower, so he defends his.” He took her hand and pressed his lips to her palm. “You are safe. But we shouldn’t test his patience. Let’s go.”

Her trembling subsided and she gave a nod. 

They walked in silence for a time, holding hands. He felt as if his soul joined to hers where their skin touched. 

She watched him, watching her. 

Yoshimoto tried to look elsewhere. He did not wish to make her uncomfortable. But she drew his eye with her graceful movements, with the soft shimmer of her hair in the afternoon light, with the slight pressure of her hand in his. 

She stopped as they reached the edge of the forest trail. “Yoshimoto?”

“Yes?”

Her eyes held a fey gleam. She stood on tiptoe and pressed her lips to his. A kiss, as light as the breeze, sweet as honey. 

Yoshimoto felt a fire sweep through him at that gentle touch. The smoldering coals of his heart, an organ he’d believed scorched to ash, burst alight.

Currently reading: Yoshimoto Banana's デッドエンドの思い出 (memories of a dead end? i dont have the english version :'D). 5 different stories revolving around women looking for peace in their everyday lives. A friend recommended it to me almost 3 years ago, I bought it, and only now im getting around to reading it.

Last song: "Shallows" by Daughter. I used to listen to it a lot when I was in highschool and going through a lot, it helps me calm down. But also, its a really good song.

Last series: I rewatched a few ultraman trigger episodes! Mostly because I was looking for a drawing reference and i ended up getting carried away.

Last movie: Whisper of the heart (1995)!! I have a few movies I watch whenever I feel lost or stressed. Swing girls (2004), the girl who leapt through time (2006) and whisper of the heart! so that was yesterday's choice <3

Sweet/savory/spicy: I cannot eat anything spicy, if i even smell chilli peppers im already coughing up my lungs lmao. So sweet it is! I'm that person that orders her soft serve with so much chocolate, it might as well just be chocolate with soft serve on the side.

Currently working on: A lot. I'm finally going back to college after years and I'm nervous!!!

I have a few projects I want to get done by the end of the year, but the main one is a little comic I have planned and some posters I want to design for toku episodes I really like. I have a few sketches done already but im almost done with the "girl gets bullied online because the kaiju she draws appear" episode in orb, and the shadow seijin episodes in geed.

Masamune (#2 Favorite) *Third Route I Played *Most fun I've had on a route in the longest time *Loved the character dynamics in his route, both with the MC and with various other characters. *Love the confidence boost he gives off just by being around *Featured in the first fic I ever wrote for this fandom and helped to break me out of my shell for smut writing. (It's Not Like I Would Say No, Kitten)

Mitsuhide (Writing Darling #1) *Hits a lot of my favorite tropes in his route (vengeance for hurting his love, poison, going feral if he feels his love is threatened, the list goes on) *Second fic for this fandom featured him (addum: and now my first long-form fic in the longest time, wow!) Shingen (Events Darling) *Was nervous about his route at first because I had heard a lot of not-so-good things about it, so I mostly played with him in events for the longest time. *Though his route wasn't great, it wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen and I still loved him despite the flaws. *Loved his playful nature and his friendship with Kennyo.

Yoshimoto (Intrigue) *First of the first round of new suitors that I was interested in *Very straightforward when it comes to declaring his affections. *Sad man. Wanna know what makes the sad man sad and to not have him be sad anymore.

Kenshin (Breaking the Mold) *Another I was leery about during his route, more based on his trope label than things I'd heard about his route. *However, once I did eventually play his route, I found out how wrong I was to let a trope label stop me from finding a new favorite. *I loved the character development throughout the route, especially seeing Kenshin's healing, and especially showing that healing (*love) isn't a fix-all. *If only all of life's problems could be solved by just stabbing people.

Nobunaga (Baby's First Route) *First route I ever played when I started playing IkeSen almost 3 years ago now. You never forget your first and all that nonsense. *Likely was my first event suitor too, as I think I started about late April 2018, so I would have hit one of his bday event stories at the time. I think it was the one where he and MC 'eloped' and it was really funny. *Huge dipshit (affectionate) whose dramatic ending made me cry. Jerk. *It's amazing how cocky and self-assured he is. He's never boring to watch, that's for sure. *Still have a soft spot for him most days.

Edgar (Sneaky Candy Man) *Sneaky Jack of Hearts *The Mitsuhide of IkeRev, he likes to tease his friends and his love. *Needs lots of hugs and kisses. Give him all the love and jellybeans.

Zero (Other Fav Sword Boy) *Another quiet boy, but not necessarily shy like Harr and Luka. *Very serious most of the time. *Carries lollipops to cheer people up to make up for his more stoic personality. *Very strong. Fought a bear and a tiger in different events. *Fought for his position in the Red Army despite all the prejudice against him.

Jonah (Surprise Favorite) *Was mostly my favorite event darling until I finally did his route to prep for his Looking Glass route that'll come... eventually. *Was kinda leery of him at first because I wasn't sure how I would take his strong personality. *I don't know why I didn't do him sooner. *Absolutely the most stuck-up binch you'll ever meet. *Yet the sweetest and most noble binch you'll ever meet too.

Lancelot (My King of Hearts) *Like Jonah, he was an event darling that I loved playing with while putting him off for the longest time because I wasn't emotionally ready yet for his route. *The scary, power-hungry king was an act he was forced into. He's really a sweet boi underneath. *Also another resident sad boi. *Gave up his magic to make sure his love lived. *Another that needs lots of hugs and kisses.

Fenrir (Gunslinger Boi) *IkeSen Masamune-lite, but no less enjoyable. *A Very Good Boy. The Best Boy. *His MC was played softer against his more boisterous personality and I'm weak for shy girls and loud boys. *Very supportive of his friends and loved ones *Very, very good boi

Mousse (Attacked by Love) *Sleepy boi, he can fall asleep just about anywhere. *When not sleeping, he's studying like a madman. Will study most things, as is part of his job as a diplomat. *Does not hold back when expressing his affections for Alice. Be still my tender heart. *Seriously he will not hold back when expressing his affections, it's almost scary.

Dalim (Intrigue) *The more content that comes out, the more intrigued I am by him *Am also weak to boys that call me princess. *Liked his friendship with Harr in his route. *Another one that likes to tease, oh no.

Seriously, I mostly play gacha for free and I have the most Vincent cards out of any other suitor. *First 5 star was Vincent. First wedding card was also Vincent. He follows me around sometimes, I swear. *Popularity has fallen somewhat in recent times, which is a shame. He's so sweet. Wish there was more content for him.

Napoleon (Sword Emperor) *Soft boy emperor that just wants a nap *Serial sleep kisser *Has a fun laugh *He protecc, he attacc, but most important, he make snacc for your tummy bear. *Soft good boy. A very good boy

Jean (Other Fav Sword Boy) *Loner that keeps to himself most of the time *Not good with social interaction with people save for like... two people. *Still, won't hesitate to help if needed *Will absolutely not hesitate to take Comte down a few pegs. *Tries his best and we're proud of him for it.

Isaac (Awkward Bean) *Doesn't do well with social interaction. Mostly just gets mad at being teased (by Arthur and Dazai) *Being nice and patient with him does wondrous things *Sweetest bean underneath *Trying his best. Love that for him. Sweetest apple boi.

Arthur (He Grows on You) *Did not have a good time on his first handful of chapters. *Despite that, I still pressed on and found out how incredibly sweet he can be. *For a guy that's supposed to be incredibly smart, he can also be incredibly dumb sometimes. *Wish cybirb gave him more sweet events rather than always make him a horndog the majority of the time.

Mozart (Events Darling) *Mostly played him in events, putting off his route because I wasn't looking forward to facing his tsun-ness for 26 chapters. *Always pleasantly surprised to see how much consent was brought up in his event routes. Very sexy of him. *Gets to be bitter with Jean and it's fun to watch their interactions. *He gets a gun to get MC back. He's frickin' badass.

Charles (Intrigue) *Not formally introduced yet in English yet, but from what I've seen... *Clingy boy that just wants to be loved. *Let me love him, please?

It is a known fact that Mitsuhide usually evades questions. Kichou does the same. They both tend to hide their thoughts, either by playing dumb, answering questions with more questions, or being elusive.

Both tend to be more graceful than forceful.

They (their voice actors, if we are being technical) both have such deep voices, almost turn to a whisper. Some other characters have deep voices too, but none has similar vibes.

Guess what, it's Nobunaga and Mitsuhide. Nobunaga, I can understand, but why Mitsuhide?

ARE YOU COUSINS? BROTHERS? ARE YOU RELATIVES??! CHILDHOOD FRIENDS?!

Otome games go to a great length to make sure the characters are idiosynchratic. Why make characters with similar vibes now? Coincident? I think not. We all know by now that Yoshimoto is Shingen's cousin - both are soft spoken and have ephemeral vibe despite looking nothing alike and Kanesugu is Kenshin's relative/ vassal - both have a streak of aloofness and madness. But besides the fact that Kichou is Nobunaga's ex vassal, there's nothing about Mitsuhide and Kichou.

Such mysteries. Am I stretching too much? Have I read too much Mitsuhide contents so now I see him everywhere? That would be alarming. But all and all, I can't wait to find out more.

I was definitely having some trouble matching you up lolz cause I can easily see you fitting with Nobunaga, Sasuke or Shingen but I eventually settled on Shingen

The first time this boi sees you he thinks that a beautiful angel has descended from heaven to grace him with her presence. The way your Auburn hair shines and shimmers in the moonlight has this boi absolutely enchanted. You are a little frightened of the men in front of you, having just barely escaped the clutches of death moments prior. You see a familiar face among the unknowns. The nerdy scientist approaches you and fills you in on all the gaps! You were a pretty nerdy person yourself, so the concept of time travel wasn’t anything new to you. Shingen couldn’t help but cut into your conversation with the meme lord to offer you a place to stay at their castle. Kenshin who was standing right next to him looked very displeased “Why are you lot always inviting people to stay in MY castle, I’m not running an orphanage you know”. To that Shingen simply laughed and patted his old friend on the shoulder “Don’t mind him, my angel, he is always grumpy when he hasn’t had a cup of sake in a few days”. And so you, Sasuke and the strange group of men travelled back to Kasugayama Castle. Shingen provided you with a big room fit for a princess. Even Kenshin came around to your room to find out if you needed anything.

You were incredibly shy and socially awkward at first which was definitely no problem for someone as flirty and outgoing as Shingen. He would slowly coax you out your shell with the funniest jokes and cheesiest pickup lines. Honestly, you couldn’t help but chuckle at the ridiculously cheesy pickup lines. And boy, oh boy, did your smile and laugh do something to Shingen’s hearts. This playboy is no stranger to the ways of wooing a woman. Still, it is definitely the first time he has actually felt some kind of emotion when doing it, there was also the fact that his flirty compliments were more genuine with you, than the ones he would usually fling to women. Any chance this boy would get he would pester you, whether it is taking you out to tea or shopping in the markets, there was just something about you that caused him to gravitate towards you.

As you better got to know the people of Kasugayama Castle, you couldn’t help but want to do something nice for them as a thank you for taking you in, so you decided to put your talents to good use. You loved baking, and after Sasuke showed you their very well equipt kitchen, you got to work. You were so excited to present your thank you gifts to them at that night’s banquet. You had made an array of pickled plumb dishes for Kenshin. Sweet buns for Yukimura and Shingen. And Sasuke and Yoshimoto favourite Japanese cheesecake. You presented the tasty dishes to them with a smile, and your face lit up in complete happiness to see them eating it with bright smiles on their faces. Even Kenshin gave you the prettiest smile saying that from now on you were to make the pickled pump accompaniments for him at every banquet.  You keenly watched Shingen as he popped one of the sticky buns in his mouth, and you couldn’t help but beam up him after you saw how much he enjoyed it. “We are truly blessed this evening to be graced by the goddess of delish baked goods”. You couldn’t help but blush a little as all the warlords nodded in agreement

You held a soft spot in all the warlord’s hearts, even Kenshin who gave you a small patch of garden to tend to after he found out that you loved to garden. Although unfortunately you by no means had green fingers. You were thankful for Shingen who helped you nurse the poor plants back to health, not that he minded cause the more time he could spend with his angel the better. The two of you would spend so much time together. You loved animals so you would often be found playing with Kenshin’s little bunnies in the garden or cuddling Shingen’s baby bear. Shingen would spot you in the garden and decide to join you. He would watch you play with the bunnies and bear cub while doing some carpentry. When the sun would get too hot, he would lead you to the garden gazebo to have some tea and sweets together. The two of you slowly started to fall in love. Shingen loved everything about you, from your nerdy personality to your gentle, loving nature.

He loves chatting with you as you talk his ears off for hours and hours. He loved that you would feistily speak your mind during war councils. You often shocked everyone when you would state your opinions fearlessly to the god of war. Mind you, you are probably the only person other than Sasuke who could do so without having your head detached from your shoulders. Luckily for you, the bunny lord has a soft spot for you, even going as far as to call you his dearest sister.

You were an excellent listener and incredibly compassionate, something that Shingen absolutely loved about you. He told you all about his past, and the reason why he hates Nobunaga so much. You were actually the one who encouraged him to reach out to Kennyo as a friend once more. And he was thankful for that little push, as he managed to bring his dear friend from the dark ledge he was on and back into the light. You also managed to find a cure for Shingen’s illness with Sasuke Whoop whoop.

Singen absolutely adored his clumsy little goddess. He would shower you with love from the moment you wake up till the moment you go to bed. He loves to spend every waking moment with the angel who had not only saved his life but, has brought so much light and love into his life. The two of you love to spend time with each other even if it means just doing your own thing together in his room. He would often do the admin part of being a warlord while you read or write. You love the way his face lights up when you sneakily slip a freshly written love letter on his desk. He would read and savour every word, while immediately writing you one back.

What does Shingen love the most about you you may ask, well that’s easy…. Shinegen loves to trap this beloved angel in his arms and listen to your melodious voice singing him songs from your hometown. He could listen to that beautiful voice of yours for hours. The second he hears your beautiful voice or sees your beautiful face the stress of the day is instantly chased away by the presence of your bright light

The two of you, cuties can often be found in each other’s arms just nestled together. You absolutely love the feeling of Shingen pulling his fingers through your silky soft hair. And Shingen adores it when you sneakily steal a kiss or two from his lips during these quiet times
