Just watched Infinity War, and let me tell you, I've never seen a theater go through the 5 stages of grief so quickly.

So I finished Rogue One tonight and... @ Lucasfilms and whoever else was involved in making it: thanks! I hate it.

Actually it was a beautifully made movie and the characters were amazing and so was the last scene and the soundtrack but I still hate it. So much,

alright so the fight between Atalanta and Jeanne in episode 22 was probably some of the coolest shit I’ve ever seen in tv anime. Honestly the first thing it reminded me of was the kizumonogatari animation, just this wild, flowy, untamed character animation that doesn’t stop for a single second, just 2 people fucking throwing themselves at each other with reckless abandon. I legitimately think my heart rate increased for a bit there and I don’t think I’m ever going to forget the image of Jeanne slamming the tip of her banner into Atalanta with so much force the goddamn screen shook.

I feel like those words were more of a love confession than either of them were capable of at that moment. To them, saying I love you was a good bye. It was the end of the world. It was, may we meet again. 

What they said was the opposite of may we meet again. It was hurry. come back. be with me. 

They could not say goodbye because they wanted to be together. 

I love you meant goodbye. It was an intention to keep living, or maybe if they couldn’t, to die together. 

The more I think about it. The more tragic it is. 

And of course, rather than hurrying, it is a long 6 year wait.
