Below are the details of the Version 5.7 update "A Space and Time for You" and the update compensation.

〓How to Update Game Client〓

PC: Close the game, open the Genshin Impact Launcher, and click Update.

iOS: Open the App Store and tap Update.

Android: Open the game and follow the directions on-screen.

PS5™ and PS4™: Highlight Genshin Impact from the Home Screen, press the OPTIONS button and select "Check for Update."

Xbox Series X|S: Open the system main menu, select "My games & apps," select the "Manage" tab, and on the "Updates" page, find "Genshin Impact" and confirm to update.

I. New Characters

5-Star Character "Void Star" Skirk (Cryo)

◇ The Seven-Shifting Serpent: Cryo

◇ Weapon: Sword

◇ A visitor who once appeared in an Abyssal rift and the Primordial Sea, this solitary warrior mentored Tartaglia in the martial arts.

◆ Skirk is a flexible Cryo DPS who performs well both on-field and in quick-swap rotations.

She can obtain special energy by triggering certain Cryo reactions via party members and releasing Elemental Skills.

By tapping the skill button, she will continuously consume this special energy, causing her Normal Attacks to deal Cryo DMG for sustained combat.

When sufficient special energy is accumulated, she can consume it all to unleash her Elemental Burst, dealing massive AoE Cryo DMG instantly.

4-Star Character "Ode and Oblation" Dahlia (Hydro)

◇ Vision: Hydro

◇ Weapon: Sword

◇ Deacon of the Church of Favonius and the Anemo Archon's representative in the church.

◆ Dahlia is a Hydro support character who provides shields and ATK SPD buffs for his teammates.

When releasing his Elemental Skill, Dahlia summons "Sacramental Shower" that can launch characters upward or deal AoE Hydro DMG to enemies.

His Elemental Burst summons a Shield of Sacred Favor and increases the ATK SPD of the active character.

II. New Equipment

New Weapon (Examples based on Refinement Rank 1)

Azurelight (5-Star Sword)

Within 12s after an Elemental Skill is used, ATK is increased by 24%. During this time, when the equipping character has 0 Elemental Energy, ATK will be further increased by 24%, and CRIT DMG will be increased by 40%.

◆ The event-exclusive 5-star weapon "Azurelight" (Sword) can be obtained from the Event Wish. Please refer to the relevant official Event Notices for specific acquisition details.

III. New Main Story

1. New Archon Quest

Archon Quest Chapter V: Act VI "A Space and Time for You"

Permanently available after the Version 5.7 update

◆ Quest Unlock Criteria:

• Reach Adventure Rank 28 or above

• Complete Archon Quest Chapter V: Act V "Incandescent Ode of Resurrection"

• The "Focused Experience Mode" function is available for this quest.

• Use the "Quick Start" function to immediately begin the prerequisite quest: Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn."

2. New Story Quest

Skirk's Story Quest "Crystallina Chapter: Act I - Whispers Betwixt Stars and Night"

Permanently available after the Version 5.7 update

◆ Quest Unlock Criteria:

• Reach Adventure Rank 40 or above

• Complete Archon Quest Chapter IV: Act V "Masquerade of the Guilty"

• The "Focused Experience Mode" function is available for this quest.

Additionally, after the Version 5.7 update until 2025/07/08 17:59, the "Quick Start" function will be available for Skirk's Story Quest - "Crystallina Chapter: Act I - Whispers Betwixt Stars and Night."

IV. Function Iterations

Quest Resource Management Update

After the Version 5.7 update, when first launching the game on mobile, Travelers need to select their preferred resource update option:

◇ Full Resources

Download all resources. Future version updates will automatically update related resources.

*Recommended to select "Full Resources."

◇ Basic Resources

Only downloads essential resources for gameplay, excluding optional content like some Archon Quests, Story Quests, and Hangout Events. Locally downloaded related resources will be automatically cleared. Optional content will not be automatically downloaded in future updates. To experience related quests, you'll need to manually download missing resources first.

After initial selection, you can change your option or manually download needed resources via Settings > Resources.

*This function is only available on mobile devices.

V. Genius Invokation TCG

Genius Invokation TCG Gameplay Update

New Character Cards: Chasca, Citlali, Mavuika, and their corresponding Talent cards. Corresponding invitation duel and guest challenges have been added to the Player List.

New Action Cards "The Dockhand's Assistant," "Crown of the Saints," "Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City," "Rawr! Rawr!," "Fight for Death," "Fire and War," "Flying Squad, Attack!," "Fruits of Training," and "Harvest's Boon" have been added which can be purchased from Prince at The Cat's Tail.

The Forge Realm's Temper is once again available. The theme of this edition is "The Forge Realm's Temper: Endless Swarm":

(1) Defeat endless waves of enemies during the rounds in "The Forge Realm's Temper: Endless Swarm" to accrue score.

(2) After you complete the stage battle, you will gain a score and the corresponding rewards based on the highest score you got in the stage.

(3) Different stages will contain different special rules that grant buffs. Use these rules well to fight more effectively.

VI. Imaginarium Theater

Imaginarium Theater Update

After the Version 5.7 update, the first season of "Imaginarium Theater" will be available on July 1, 2025.

Required Elemental Types: Pyro, Hydro, and Cryo

Opening Characters: Lyney, Xiangling, Tartaglia, Dahlia, Wriothesley, and Rosaria

When Imaginarium Theater is open, the corresponding Opening Characters will obtain Fantastical Blessings.

Special Guest Stars: Emilie, Kinich, Lan Yan, and Noelle

After the first season of Imaginarium Theater begins, the characters Mualani, Lyney, Yaoyao, and Charlotte will each gain a new "Thespian Trick" that can be exchanged from the NPC Wolfy.

Envisaged Echoes Update

After the Version 5.7 update, new challenge stages and Echo cosmetics for Raiden Shogun and Shenhe will be added.

VII. Spiral Abyss

Spiral Abyss Update

◇ After the Version 5.7 update, Phase 1 of the Spiral Abyss will be updated on July 16.

◆ Floor 11 Ley Line Disorder changed to:

All party members receive a 60% Cryo DMG Bonus.

All party members gain a 60% Pyro DMG Bonus.

◆ Floor 12 Ley Line Disorders changed to:

First Half: Cryo DMG dealt by all party members increased by 75%.

Second Half: All party members' Nightsoul-aligned DMG increased by 75%.

◆ Updated the monster lineup on Floors 11 – 12 of the Spiral Abyss.

◆ Blessing of the Abyssal Moon:

Bitterfreeze Moon

When a character triggers Cryo-related reactions, a shockwave will be released at the opponent's position, dealing True DMG to nearby opponents. This effect can be triggered once every 2.5s.

VIII. Other Update Details

New Character Specialty Dishes:

○ Skirk's specialty: "Abyssal Bounty"

○ Dahlia's specialty: "Chatter of Joyful Nights"

New Collaboration Recipes:

○ Obtainable via Mail: "Meat-Lover's Feast," "Nine-Fruit Nectar," and "Bubblemilk Pie"

Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 2 or above can log in after 2025/07/11 12:00 (UTC+8) – before Version 5.8 maintenance to claim these via mail. The mail will expire after 30 days, so don't forget to claim the rewards in time.

Adds new Achievements to the "Wonders of the World" category.

Adds Set 41 of "Paimon's Paintings" chat emojis.

Adds some prompts for loading screens.

New Namecards:

"Skirk: Lone Shadow": Reward for reaching Friendship Lv. 10 with Skirk

"Dahlia: Sacred Duty": Reward for reaching Friendship Lv. 10 with Dahlia

"Travel Notes: Speculation": Reward obtained via the BP system

Adds a new consumable "Dust of Enlightenment" to the Artifacts system. Travelers can now consume Dust of Enlightenment to randomly reallocate the enhancements of Minor Affixes on a fully-leveled 5-star Artifact.

〓Adjustments & Optimizations〓

● Enemies

Abyss enemies, such as Abyss Lectors and Abyss Heralds will now activate their Wards shortly after their HP falls below a certain percentage and are Frozen. (Previously, they remained frozen for an extended duration without activating their Wards, making them difficult to defeat. With this change, they will now activate Wards more quickly, allowing them to be defeated normally.)

● Chat

Optimizes the display and interaction experience of the chat interface.

Adds the "Manage Emoji Group" feature, allowing you to customize which emojis and emoji groups are shown and how they are sorted.

Adds interaction options for individual chat messages, such as tagging other Travelers in non-private chats.

Optimizes the block function. Blocking settings will no longer reset when switching devices. A "Mute List" has also been added under "Manage Blocklist."

● "Character" > "Artifact" Interface

Adjusts the "Fast Equip" interface and optimizes the algorithm for configuration recommendations.

The "Recommended Configurations" function now includes a "Check Alternatives" feature, allowing you to swap Artifacts with other suggested options.

You can now select two preset configurations in "Custom Configuration."

Adds a new "Recommended Order Scope of Effect" setting to the sorting function, which can be set to "Current Slot" or "All Slots."

● Crafting

The "Crafting" > "Convert" interface now includes a "Filter by Character" feature, and a "View Characters" button has been added to the top-right corner of the screen.

The "Crafting" > "Mystic Offering" screen will now remember the last selected Artifact Strongbox and automatically select it the next time the screen is opened.

The number of Condensed Resin in your inventory is now displayed on the "Map" and "Domain Entrance" screens.

● Domains

After completing a Domain, you can now select "Skip Reward Cutscene" from the top-left corner of the reward screen.

If you exit a Domain before starting the challenge, the "Challenge Failed" screen will no longer appear.

● Adventurer Handbook

Added a tracking option for Ley Line Outcrops in the Enemies tab.

You can now click the question mark icon when selecting certain enemies in the "Enemies" tab to view the relevant tutorial.

Adjusts enemy order in the "Enemies" tab based on update timing.

The "Domains" page of the Adventurer Handbook and the corresponding Trounce Domain entrance interfaces now show "First-Clear Rewards" for Trounce Domains. These rewards can be claimed upon clearing the Trounce Domain on highest difficulty, whether in Single Player Mode or in Co-Op Mode. Travelers who already cleared the relevant Trounce Domains on highest difficulty before the update can claim the rewards directly afterward.

● Spiral Abyss

Optimizes the UI and user experience for the Spiral Abyss interface.

When restarting a floor or entering the next floor after completion, the "Start Challenge" screen will retain the previous team configuration. A button that clears all current Party Setups has also been added to this screen.

If you complete a chamber but fail to earn all Abyssal Stars, the results screen will now include a "Retry Challenge" option.

After completing Floor 12 Chamber 3, the results screen will display your total Abyssal Stars for this season, and all unclaimed Star's Bounty will be automatically distributed by the system.

● Other Character Enhancement interfaces

In the source info for "Character Ascension Materials" and "Character Level-Up Materials," clicking "Obtained from the Crafting Bench Conversion Tab" will open the Crafting Bench on the Map.

The source info for 3-star and above "Character and Weapon Enhancement Materials" now includes a shortcut to Stardust Exchange.

For Local Specialties that can be farmed via gardening, their source info will now indicate "Grown in the Serenitea Pot."

In certain interfaces that recommend development stats (e.g., recommended Character - Artifacts, talent priorities, etc.), preset data will be used for recommendations when player data is insufficient.

Adjusts the display and interaction of the "Character" > "Talents" interface. If enough materials are available, talents can now be leveled up consecutively in the confirmation screen.

Starting from Version 5.7, the "Character" > "Talents" interface and the "Test Run" event will feature the "Talent Demo" button, which includes character role descriptions and some skill descriptions.

Optimizes the UI for claiming rewards after completing a Domain or Ley Line Outcrop. A new option to consume Fragile Resin or Transient Resin to receive triple rewards has been added. This option will only appear when you own these resin types.

● Genius Invokation TCG

Optimizes the matchmaking mechanism for Genius Invokation TCG co-op matches. The opponent's ready status will now be hidden once matched.

● Quests

Adjusts the unlock requirements for the Genius Invokation TCG tutorial quest: now requires Adventure Rank 30 and completion of the Archon Quest "Song of the Dragon and Freedom."

Optimizes the order and display of World Level Ascension Quests.

New dialogue options have been added to NPC Orban. These options become available after completing the Archon Quest "Paralogism" and the World Quest "The Festering Fang."

● Audio

Optimizes fade and transition sound effects when interacting with the "Sweet Dreams" furnishing.

Optimizes Ifa's "Hello" voice-over in Japanese.

Adds and replaces some of Kinich's English voice lines in content from previous versions. (Now, all of Kinich's voice lines have been replaced.)

Supplements some of Hu Tao and Venti's English voice lines in content from previous versions.

After Version 5.7 is updated, Keqing and Paimon's English VAs will be updated (this change only applies to new content in Version 5.7, historical content will be gradually updated in subsequent versions).

● Other

After consuming food with a duration-based effect, a notification will now appear on the game interface.

Adjusts the trigger conditions for the blue-highlighted guidance box in "Craft" > "Convert." (Travelers who have already triggered it will not see it again.)

Increases the daily forging limit for Weapon Enhancement Materials on the Forge page. For example, the daily cap for Mystic Enhancement Ore has been raised from 30 to 40.

Adds one "Dust of Enlightenment" to both Gnostic Hymn and Gnostic Chorus in the Battle Pass system.

Fixes an issue whereby under specific conditions during Escoffier's Story Quest "Treasured Above All," the cooking screen displayed abnormally.

Fixes an issue whereby the quest objective "Try to activate the Astral Assemblage(s)" in the World Quest "The Forsaken Sea of Wisdom" could not be completed under certain conditions.

● Enemies

Fixes an issue whereby the attack range of the enemy "Lava Dragon Statue"'s magma strike did not match the actual animation.

Fixes an issue whereby the enemy "Local Legend: The Peak" behaved abnormally in combat and remained immobile for a period of time after using its skill under certain circumstances.

Fixes an issue whereby during some attack animations, character attacks failed to deal damage to the "Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device" even when the enemy was within the player's attack range.

Fixes an issue whereby the enemy "Ferocious Warrior: Human Ram"'s eyes displayed abnormally while casting a skill.

Fixes an issue whereby during the "The Game Before the Gate" challenge, the Ascended King had a small chance to fail to revive properly after being resurrected by the Sublimated Queen.

Fixes a discrepancy between the hit location and model position of the enemy "Chess Game: Queen Piece" after being defeated.

Fixes an issue whereby some enemies could not exit combat after leaving the battle zone.

Fixes an issue whereby Ifa had a small chance of not triggering the "Hypersense" effect of Ororon's Ascension Talent "Nightshade Synesthesia" when continuously attacking from a distance and approaching the enemy.

Fixes an issue whereby characters revived using food was brought back with 0 HP under certain conditions.

Fixes an issue whereby there was a small chance that Escoffier's nose highlight could sometimes display abnormally under shadowed lighting conditions.

Fixes an issue whereby there was a small possibility that co-op Travelers who are not in your Friends list might not appear in the "Friends / Recent Co-Op Players" interface.

Fixes an issue whereby the map of Natlan may display abnormally under specific conditions.

Fixes an issue whereby the quantity of certain rewards on the "Domains" tab of the Adventurer Handbook were displayed incorrectly on Sundays.

Fixes an issue in the Travel Log/Tribal Chronicles interface whereby certain content in the quest "Orchard Repose" was displayed incorrectly.

〓Genius Invokation TCG Balance Adjustment〓

Adjusts the Elemental Dice cost for Kachina's Character Card Technique "Twirly Twirly Bam Bam" from 1 Die of any element to 1 Geo Die.

Adjusts the effect of Zhongli's Character Card "Dominance of Earth": adds a limit of "Max 3 times per Round" to the "Geo DMG +1" effect.

Increases the starting Max HP of Albedo's Character Card from 10 to 12.

Increases the starting Max HP of Neuvillette, Beidou, Candace, Baizhu, and Hydro Hilichurl Rogue Character Cards from 10 to 11.

Adjusts the Elemental Burst DMG of the Hydro Hilichurl Rogue Character Card: Hydro DMG dealt is adjusted from 3 to 4.

[ad_1] Your iPhone and iPad will look significantly different when iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 roll out this fall. And no, you haven’t missed seven operating system upgrades since iOS 18 last year. Apple has changed the naming structure of its OS updates and made them all consistent—visionOS 26, watchOS 26, macOS 26—so they’re now tied to the year after their launch, similar to what car makers do when debuting new models.The main highlight across all of Apple’s updates announced at WWDC 2025 revolves around the new look and feel of the interface, a design language the company calls Liquid Glass. Beyond that, several new features are coming to iOS, from live translation in messages and calls to the ability to search anything on your iPhone screen through Visual Intelligence. The Photos app is also getting its tabs back! More significant are the updates to iPadOS, which will now support windowed apps that are resizable and can be tiled, bringing it closer to a desktop computing experience people have been waiting for.We'll run through the top new features in both operating systems. Here's what you need to know.Is Your iPhone or iPad CompatibleAccordionItemContainerButtonEvery year, Apple tends to cut off a few older devices from downloading the latest iOS or iPadOS version. The reason is supposedly due to hardware age. (Apple typically supports iPhones and iPads for six to seven years.)iPhones from 2019 and newer—the iPhone 11 and up, including the iPhone SE (2nd Gen)—will support iOS 26. The iPhones that received iOS 18 but are now cut off from the latest version are the iPhone XR and iPhone XS series from 2018. If you're unsure about your iPhone model, head to Settings > General > About and look at the model name.iPads are a little more complicated, as the naming scheme fluctuates. Apple recently retired the “generations” and is now using the chipset to denote the model. You can figure out what model your iPad is by heading here. The 7th-gen iPad from 2019 seems to be the only one that will not receive the update compared to iPads that received iPadOS 18.iPad: 8th gen and later, including A16iPad Mini: 5th gen and later, including A17 ProiPad Air: 3rd gen and later, including M2 and M3iPad Pro 11-inch: 1st gen and lateriPad Pro 12.9-inch: 3rd gen and lateriPad Pro: M4How to Try iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 NowAccordionItemContainerButtonApple has released the developer beta of iOS and iPadOS 26, but I don't recommend installing it just yet on your primary iPhone; maybe use an older iPhone you have lying around if you really want to try it out. There are some bugs, and there's always a risk of messing up your iPhone on an early version meant for developers.If you are going to risk it, make sure you back up your device. Head to Settings and tap your name at the top, then select iCloud. Tap on iCloud Backup, toggle it on, and tap Back Up Now. Read our How to Back Up Your iPhone or iPad guide for other methods and more details.When you're ready to update, make sure your iPhone is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi. Then go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and choose the iOS 26 developer beta. It'll request the update and then take some time to download it. Your iPhone will then automatically restart to install it, so make sure you set aside several minutes for the whole process. That's it!AccordionItemContainerButtonApple's previous iOS version was iOS 18 in 2024, but the company has decided to revamp its naming structure so that all of its platforms are consistent. That means iOS, iPadOS, macOS, visionOS, tvOS, and watchOS are all on version 26. Why 26? Apple is following the car maker's playbook, naming the update for the last two digits of the following year. Most people download the latest iPhone OS version in December, even though Apple releases it in September; this way it continues to feel fresh right as the new year rolls around.Top iOS 26 FeaturesLet's take a look at the top new features in iOS 26. You can read more about it directly from Apple here.Liquid Glass and Lock Screen ChangesApple has a new design language for the iPhone, the first major visual overhaul in years, and it's called Liquid Glass. It's very much like the Windows Aero theme from the Microsoft Vista days in 2006. The interface acts like glass, so pulling down the lock screen feels like you're moving a pane of glass, and you can see how the apps interact around it. There are even specular highlights on app icons that shift as the phone moves in your hand. Apple has also added some newer animations that feel bouncy, not unlike some of the new animations in Android 16. But there's a new option for “Clear” app icons, and everything in the interface switches to that all-glass look.On the lock screen, the time adapts to the available space. Courtesy of AppleOver on the lock screen, the time now adapts to the photo, stretching until it goes right behind the top of the subject for a depth effect. Also, when new notifications come in, the subject in your photo shifts up so that the notifications don't block them. There's also a new way to turn 2D photos into a 3D effect in the Photos app, and you can apply those to the lock screen.Call Screening and Phone App RedesignTaking a page from Google's Call Screen feature on Pixel phones, Apple has finally added its own version in iOS 26. Once you enable Call Screening, it'll automatically answer calls from unknown callers in the background without alerting you. Once the caller gives a reason for their call, your phone will ring, but you'll be able to see the response on the screen so you can decide whether you want to answer or not.Just like Google's Hold for Me feature, Apple has a Hold Assist function that makes staying on hold more bearable. If you're trying to reach a company but hear the dreaded hold music, you can turn this feature on and won't have to pay super close attention to your phone. When the music is over and a live agent starts talking, you'll get a notification—handy if you need to wait more than 30 minutes just to reach a customer service rep.The redesigned phone app in iOS 26. You can approve these numbers and they'll show up in your main Messages view, or mark them as spam. (Some will automatically be screened as Spam.)The Phone app also has a new look, with your favorites up top and recent calls below. You'll be able to switch to the old Phone app user interface through a toggle on the top right of the app.Live Translation in Messages, Phone, and FaceTimeYou can now get live translations from Apple's Messages, Phone, and FaceTime apps. We've seen similar versions of this technology from Samsung and Google on their respective phones over the last few years. In the Phone app, you can turn on a translation mode, and a voice will translate what the other person says and vice versa in real time. (You can toggle whether you need translation both ways or just for one language.) Over in the Messages app, you'll see translated text as a part of your message bubble when speaking with someone else, and in FaceTime, you'll get real-time translated subtitles. All of these happen on-device, so data doesn't leave your iPhone, and they'll also work when you're communicating with people using Android phones.Live Translation is integrated into Messages, FaceTime, and Phone. It can translate audio as well as text. Courtesy of AppleAt the moment, Live Translation in Phone and FaceTime only works with one-on-one calls in English (UK and US), French (France), German, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Spain). Live Translation in Messages has slightly broader language support, including Chinese (simplified) and Japanese. Since there's now a Phone app on iPadOS and MacOS, you can still take advantage of these features if you answer on those platforms.Visual Intelligence and the iPhone ScreenVisual Intelligence debuted with Apple Intelligence as a way to have Siri understand the world around you through the iPhone's camera. It's now expanding to understand the context of your iPhone's screen. Very much like Google's Gemini, Visual Intelligence can identify what's on your screen and suggest specific actions.Unlike triggering Visual Intelligence and Siri with the Camera Control or Action Button, to trigger the onscreen contextual mode, you have to take a screenshot (these don't have to be saved if you tap the X icon on the top left). If you take a screenshot of an invitation someone sent you, for example, you'll see a suggestion to add it to your calendar with one tap. If you're looking at a PDF, a screenshot might suggest a summarization so you can get the highlights.Building on Apple Intelligence, visual intelligence now extends to a user’s iPhone screen, making it easy to search and take action across apps with anything they’re viewing. Courtesy of AppleThere's even a feature very similar to Google Lens or Google's Circle to Search, where you can take a screenshot and then highlight a specific thing on the page you want to search via Google, or through another app that's installed on your phone that supports the feature, like Etsy. So you can highlight a vase, for example, and then find similar results via Google or similar shoppable vases on Etsy.New Group Message and Emoji FeaturesGroup chats are finally getting typing indicators and polls (though the latter is exclusive to iMessage group chats). There's also the ability to add new background designs for messages to make them more personalized. If you're big on emoji, you might like the new ability to mix two emojis together via Genmoji in the keyboard or in Apple's Image Playground app. (It's somewhat similar to Google's Emoji Kitchen.)Conversations in Messages have background textures now. The Games app is now your one-stop shop to see all the games you've ever bought on the App Store, and you can launch them right from this app. (There's even controller support so you can use a mobile controller to move through the user interface.) The app lets you discover new games, see what your friends are playing, and a Challenges tab lets you compete even with single-player games via a leaderboard.Other Noteworthy FeaturesThere are several other features not mentioned here, but here are a few other highlights.Photos: Apple heard your complaints about the Photos app and brought back the Library and Collections tabs on the main page of the app.Camera: The Camera app has a new look, with a simplified Photo and Video layout that expands when you move through modes.Reminders: You'll now see suggested tasks, shopping items, or follow-ups based on your emails and texts on your iPhone, powered by Apple Intelligence. There's also an option to auto-categorize related reminders in a list.AirPods Audio and Video Recording: If you have AirPods or AirPods Pro with the H2 chip, you can start recording a video in the iPhone's camera app by pressing and holding on the stem. You can also record audio in high definition in the camera app with those AirPods.Maps: Maps will learn the routes you travel regularly and will give you a heads up about delays before you leave the house. Also, there's now a Visited Places section in the app (you have to opt in, and you can choose for how long Maps stores this data, from 3 months to forever).Apple Music: In the Music app, there's now an AutoMix feature that will seamlessly mixes one song to the next like a DJ using tools like time stretching and beatmatching. Also, if you're looking at music lyrics, you can now see translations.Wallet: Apple's Wallet app can create Digital IDs with your US passport, which can be used at TSA checkpoints, in apps, and in person. Also, your boarding pass will now feature airport maps, luggage tracking with Find My, and sharable Live Activities so your loved ones can easily receive and see your flight info.Image Playground: There are new ChatGPT styles to choose from when generating images in Apple's image generation app.CarPlay: Live Activities are now coming to CarPlay, so you can see the status of a friend's flight as you're on your way to the airport to pick them up. You can also now react in Messages with Tapback.The Top New iPadOS 26 FeaturesiPadOS 26 gets many of the same features as iOS 26, so I won't repeat things in this section, but let's take a look at specific new capabilities coming to iPads this fall. As always, you can get a deeper dive from Apple here.Multitasking ImprovementsiPads have become incredibly powerful over the past few years, but multitasking has been lackluster, making them feel inadequate as laptop replacements. That's changing now with the multitasking changes in iPadOS 26. Now apps support windowing, so you can have multiple apps on the screen in different sizes. Just resize them by dragging a corner of the app and arrange them wherever.Apps can be tiled in different configurations. Photograph: Julian ChokkattuYou get Mac-style traffic light buttons too. Photograph: Julian ChokkattuThere are native window tiling options—a flick to the left or right will tile apps to the sides for easier split-screen, and you can even split apps into thirds or quarters. The familiar traffic light buttons from macOS are also available now on apps, and if you press and hold them, you'll see more options to arrange apps with a tap. Swipe up and hold and your apps will spread out in Exposé mode, and you'll be able to revisit your grouped apps later even if you switch to a full-screen app. There's now also a menu bar you can pull down from the top in any app, though the available options will depend on the app.Best of all, iPadOS now lets you handle more tasks in the background. Previously, if you were rendering a file in Final Cut, you'd have to keep it open for the render to complete. Now, that task can be done in the background, allowing you to switch to other apps for a true multitasking desktop experience.A Better Files AppThe Files app has a new design that offers up more info at a glance. There are resizable columns, collapsible folders, and you can set default apps for opening specific file types. You can also customize folders with different colors and emojis to make them visually distinct. Speaking of, you can put folders in the dock for speedier access.The Files app has sortable, resizable columns. It now supports the Apple Pencil, so you can make your journal feel even more personal with your own handwriting.Audio recording: There's a new input chooser that lets you pick the right microphone for each app, handy if you're connecting external mics to the iPad.Notes: You can capture conversations from the Phone app as audio recordings with transcriptions. ATK increased by 15%. When the equipping character triggers Burning on an opponent or deals Dendro DMG to Burning opponents, the DMG dealt is increased by 18%. This effect lasts for 8s, max 2 stacks. When 2 stacks are reached or when the duration is refreshed at 2 stacks, restore 12 Energy. Energy can be restored this way once every 12s. The 2 aforementioned effects can be triggered even when the character is off-field.

◆ During the event wish "Epitome Invocation," the event-exclusive 5-star weapon Lumidouce Elegy (Polearm) will receive a huge drop-rate boost!

When Imaginarium Theater is open, the corresponding Opening Characters will obtain Fantastical Blessings.

Special Guest Stars: Emilie, Dehya, Nahida, and Xiangling

After the new season of Imaginarium Theater begins, the characters Kaeya, Kaveh, Yoimiya, and Yelan will each gain a new "Thespian Trick" that can be exchanged from the NPC Wolfy.

In addition, in order to optimize the experience of obtaining Principal Cast during the gameplay, after the new season of Imaginarium Theater begins, the following adjustments will be made:

● Open World

Now, after defeating the boss "Lupus Boreas, Dominator of Wolves," Trounce Blossom rewards not collected will only disappear after he respawns.

Adjusts the respawn time for boss enemies in the open world, with the exception of "Lupus Boreas, Dominator of Wolves," from 5 minutes to 10 seconds (After the respawn timer ends, Travelers need to teleport to another area and return, and the relevant enemies will respawn).

Adjusts the respawn time for certain harvestables from 48 hours to 46 hours.

Adjusts the unlock condition for the "Lower World Level" function from World Level 5 to World Level 3 (you can choose to lower the World Level upon reaching World Level 3).

Reduces the difficulty of the "Anti-Raiden Shogun Training"-related quest objective in the Archon Quest "The Familiar's Path."

Reduces the difficulty of the challenge gameplay related to the Story Quest "License to Glide" and "Mondstadt Glider."

Optimizes the refresh logic for Commission Quests: Commission Quests that have their scenes occupied by other quests will not refresh and appear. However, Commission Quests with unfinished achievements are not affected by this refresh rule and will still appear.

Certain quests that can unlock systems will have a new special icon on the Quest Menu.

● Domains

Adjusts the enemy placements and certain Ley Line Disorders in the Domains "Forsaken Rift," "Cecilia Garden," "Peak of Vindagnyr," "Hidden Palace of Zhou Formula," "Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern," "Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula," "Domain of Guyun," and "Taishan Mansion" to reduce the challenge difficulty of these domains.

Unlocked Domains can be used as Teleport Waypoints even if Travelers have yet to reach the Adventure Rank required to challenge the Domain.

After Travelers reach Adventure Rank 10 or have completed the quest "Knights of Favonius" of the Archon Quest Prologue: Act I "The Outlander Who Caught the Wind," you can unlock all Domains of Blessing, Domains of Mastery, and Domains of Forgery, with the exception of Midsummer Courtyard (There are no specific unlock criteria for Domain of Blessing "Midsummer Courtyard").

After defeating the "Enemy of Note" in the "Trounce Domain," if Travelers leave without claiming the reward, the game will display a second confirmation pop-up.

● Adventure Encounters

Once you have reached your daily Encounter Point limit, any further Points gained will be converted to Long-Term Encounter Points. Long-Term Encounter Points will not be cleared the next day and can be stored until the next Version x.0.

Travelers can convert accumulated Long-Term Encounter Points into usable Encounter Points through consuming Original Resin.

a. The number of Encounter Points obtained from completing Archon Quests, Character Story Quests, and Hangout Events has been increased.

b The number of Encounter Points obtained from completing World Quests, Story Quests from Limited-Time Events, and collecting event rewards has been decreased.

c. Completing World Quests that begin Limited-Time Events, the Afterword World Quests from Limited-Time Events, and City Reputation: Requests will no longer give Encounter Points.

● System

Adds an interaction using the spacebar on the "Cooking" interface (when using a keyboard and mouse as control devices).

In the "Spiral Abyss" character selection interface, you can now drag characters to adjust their position within the party lineup.

Adds the filter option for "Astral Mark Status" in certain characters' interface.

When you have sufficient offerings to level up offering-related systems (such as the "Statue of The Seven" or "Fountain of Lucine"), clicking on the icon of the relevant system on the map will display an offering prompt.

Adds a new setting in the "General Settings" of the "Artifact Auto-Lock" function. When enabled, for Artifacts with 3 Minor Affixes, the locked plan will consider conditions like "Includes any 2/3/4 of the following Minor Affixes" will be treated as "Includes any 1/2/3 of the following Minor Affixes."

Optimizes the descriptions and previews of related effects for certain cards.

Shortens the display time of some card effects.

Optimizes the description of the Support Card "Kusava": In the description "Discard a maximum of 2 cards with the highest Elemental Dice Cost in your Hand," "cards with the highest Elemental Dice Cost in your Hand" will be adjusted to "cards with the highest original Elemental Dice Cost in your Hand."

Optimizes the Action Phase time calculation logic in Co-Op matches: The Action Phase time limit will no longer be a fixed amount and will be extended depending on how many card effects Travelers trigger.
